Abstract

This study aims to identify the type and thickness of sediment in Lake Limboto using the Schlumberger configuration geoelectric method. This method was chosen because of its ability to detect resistivity variations that reflect the characteristics of subsurface sediments. The research procedure begins with an initial survey to determine strategic measurement locations, followed by electrode arrangement and resistivity measurements. Data obtained from the measurements were analyzed using geophysical analysis software to produce a resistivity distribution model. The results showed that there were variations in sediment types, including sand, clay, and alluvial soil, as well as varying sediment thicknesses in various locations. These findings are expected to provide useful information for water resource management and mitigation of shallowing problems in Lake Limboto.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that does not recognize social class. The presence of Islam has become an integral part of the existence of various groups on earth. Arabs, which is the tribe where the Prophet Muhammad SAW. born and raised. In its development, they are so proud of their ethnicity, that they are in a policy and social attitudes in society. Islam has taught al-Musawat in life. Not differentiated from ethnicity, but united in Islam. Between Arabs and Ajams, Arabs and Mawalli, then the policy period of the Umayyads, Abbasids, on the expansion of areas by Arab Muslims, sparked the intrigue of the movement in some non-Arab groups, which we later know as the Shu'ubiyyah movement. This study will review further the relationship between Arab and Persian as an Islamic society. Researchers use historical approaches and historical methods as one of the procedural in historical research. The result is that the Arabs are still a tribe that is still proud of their ancestors. This is undeniable in the course of history. However, the Islamic diaspora has stopped in various countries and has direct contact with the country's tribes and ethnicities, for example Persia. So still, non-Arabic groups whose mother tongue is not Arabic (Ajam) are often still considered below the Arab tribal social class. So that's where the Shu'ubiyyah movements emerged as a form of resistance from the dominating Arab culture.

Abstract

The rapid technological shift in education increasingly requires teachers to demonstrate strong digital literacy aligned with continuous curriculum reform processes. In Indonesia, the Merdeka Curriculum promotes learner-centred pedagogy and systematic technology integration; however, many Islamic Education teachers still struggle to effectively apply digital competencies in lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment practices. This qualitative case study examined how innovative school leadership supports and strengthens teachers’ digital literacy development in a public secondary school in South Sumatra. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant classroom observations, and document analysis involving principals, teachers, administrative staff, and students. The data were analysed thematically using iterative analytical procedures supported by trustworthiness strategies. The findings reveal that leadership practices such as shared vision building, mentoring, instructional supervision, and collaborative professional learning consistently embed digital competence within school planning and ongoing professional development. These practices enhance teachers’ confidence, adaptability, and their use of digital tools in the classroom. Overall, leadership bridges curriculum reform objectives with teachers’ digital readiness in Education contexts.

Abstract

Internal management crises represent a critical challenge for Islamic educational institutions, particularly at the elementary level such as madrasah ibtidaiyah. Issues including internal conflicts, weak organizational coordination, and high teacher turnover may significantly affect institutional stability and the quality of educational services. This study aims to analyze the crisis management strategies implemented by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muara Rupit, Rupit District, North Musi Rawas Regency (Muratara), in addressing internal management crises. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the head of the madrasah, teachers, and administrative staff, participatory observation of institutional activities, and document analysis of organizational policies and records. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that crisis management strategies at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muara Rupit are implemented through three main stages: internal crisis identification, strengthening organizational communication, and management restructuring grounded in Islamic values. The head of the madrasah plays a pivotal role as a key actor in managing crisis communication in a persuasive and participatory manner to mitigate conflicts and maintain internal trust. These findings underscore that effective crisis management in Islamic educational institutions is strongly influenced by adaptive leadership, open organizational communication, and the integration of religious values in decision-making processes. This study is expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of crisis management practices in Islamic elementary education institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the internalisation of religious culture through non-academic learning processes at Senior High School 15 Palembang. It focuses on how these schools implement Islamic-based religious practices and values to nurture students’ spiritual growth. This qualitative study employs field research with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. A descriptive qualitative analysis was conducted through data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings reveal that the internalisation of religious culture in these schools integrates Islamic values into students' behaviours and attitudes. Religious practices are primarily promoted through non-academic activities outside the formal Islamic Education, Al-Islam, and Fiqh classes. Students demonstrate these values in both school and community settings, participating in structured religious activities such as congregational prayers, Quran recitation (tadarus), Dhuha prayers, and embodying respectful behaviours such as politeness and friendliness. These practices are intended to foster students' development into morally grounded individuals who contribute positively to societal ethics. The study also highlights the need for improved facilities, such as dedicated prayer areas, to support the internalisation of religious culture further. The study focuses on three schools in Palembang, which may limit the generalizability of the findings to other contexts. Future research could expand the scope to include a variety of educational institutions and regions. This research provides insights into how religious culture can be systematically internalised through non-academic activities within Islamic educational settings. It underscores the role of leadership, habitual practices, and supportive environments in promoting the ethical and spiritual development of students, bridging modern educational goals with Islamic moral principles.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the integration of teachers’ digital literacy and a love-based curriculum in supporting the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) in madrasahs. Digital transformation in education encourages educational institutions to optimize the use of information technology in managing educational data and learning processes. However, the successful implementation of management information systems is not only determined by technological infrastructure but also by the competence of human resources and the value-based educational approach implemented within the institution. Materials and methods. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research participants consisted of madrasah principals, teachers, and administrative staff who were directly involved in the management of educational information systems. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the research phenomenon. Results. The findings indicate that teachers’ digital literacy plays a significant role in improving the effectiveness of management information system implementation, particularly in managing academic data, learning administration, and digital-based educational communication. In addition, the implementation of a love-based curriculum contributes to creating a more humanistic and collaborative learning environment that supports the integration of technology in madrasah education. Conclusions. The study concludes that the successful implementation of management information systems is influenced by the synergy between teachers’ digital competence, institutional support, and the educational values integrated into the curriculum. Strengthening teachers’ digital literacy and developing value-based curricula are therefore important strategies to support the optimization of technology-based educational management in madrasahs.
