Abstract

Employees in government institutions play a crucial role in providing quality public services. However, heavy workloads, job-related pressures, and uncomfortable working conditions can lead to stress, burnout, and reduced job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effect of workload and work-related stress on job satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through burnout as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative survey method. Data were collected from 100 employees at the Manpower Offices in Serang City, Serang Regency, and Cilegon City using a questionnaire. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software version 4.1.1.4. The results indicate that workload and work-related stress have a positive and significant effect on burnout. Burnout, in turn, has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction and serves as a mediating variable between workload, work-related stress, and job satisfaction. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of managing workload in a balanced manner, creating a comfortable work environment, and implementing burnout prevention programs to enhance employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of job rotation and teamwork on employee performance through work motivation as a mediating variable at PT. Pelabuhan Cilegon Mandiri. Research Method: The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 170 employees selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Results and Discussion: The results of the study showed that job rotation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β=0.436; p<0.001) and work motivation (β=0.324; p<0.001). Teamwork also had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β=0.315; p<0.001) and work motivation (β=0.609; p<0.001). Furthermore, work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β=0.230; p<0.001). Work motivation was proven to significantly mediate the effect of job rotation on employee performance and the effect of teamwork on employee performance. All research hypotheses were accepted. Implications: companies need to optimize competency-based job rotation programs, strengthen inter-team collaboration, and create a work environment that fosters motivation as a sustainable strategy for improving employee performance. Abstract

One of the objectives of this study is to identify and analyze problems that have an impact on increasing productivity in cajuput oil production. The method used Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is used to determine the most effective maintenance approach based on system reliability, using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) approaches in order to overcome ambiguity and uncertainty in risk assessment. The results of the study using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, there are failures that are a priority for improvement based on the risk priority number (RPN) value. The highest RPN values ​​are Labeling Machines, Filling Machines, Capping Machines with RPN values ​​of 294, 288 and 252 in the high criticality category. The maintenance carried out is routine checks after and before using the tool or machine, carrying out Checks and maintenance according to the Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, Tighting (CILT) checksheet. The downtime rate from July to August 2024 decreased by 4.72%, previously the weekly downtime rate was 19.09% after 2 weeks the downtime rate dropped to 14.37%. Shows that the selection of the maintenance model has been successful in increasing the reliability, efficiency and overall performance of the system.

Abstract

The subpar academic performance of kids in Serang City's public primary schools served as the impetus for this study, which was thought to be related to instructional quality, academic supervision, and democratic leadership. This study used instructional quality as a mediating variable to examine the direct and indirect impacts of academic supervision and democratic leadership on student accomplishment. 200 teachers. Instructional quality also substantially mediated both effects. chosen thru purposive sampling for a quantitative explanatory survey technique, and SEM-PLS was used to evaluate the data. The findings demonstrated that academic supervision and democratic leadership had a favorable and substantial impact on instructional quality, which, in turn, had a positive and significant impact on student accomplishment. Both effects, instructional quality, also substantially mediated both effects. also substantially mediated by instructional quality. Together, the three factors accounted for 43.3% of the variation in student performance (R² = 0.433).
