This research aims to determine the extent of the significant correlation between students' learning preferences and their achievement in the second grade of MAN 2 Polewali Mandar. This study used a non-probability sampling technique to collect data on 26 samples from a total population 124. Researchers used a quantitative research approach with a correlation design. There are two types of instruments used in this research, namely the VARK questionnaire for learning preferences and rubric assessment for students' achievement. Research findings show that the correlation value of visual learning preference to students' achievement is 0.607. The correlation value for auditory learning preference to students' achievement is -0.316. The correlation value for read/write learning preference to students' achievement is -0.720, and the correlation value for kinesthetic learning preference to students' achievement is 0.227. Based on the data obtained, the researcher concluded that each learning preference component has a different level of correlation with student achievement in learning. The researcher hopes this study can be a reference and useful for further researchers who have the same focus of discussion, namely regarding student learning and achievement. The researcher also hopes that this study will help teachers pay more attention to the learning preferences of each of their students.

This study investigates the impact of integrating local wisdom into thematic curriculum textbooks on the knowledge and appreciation of elementary school students towards local wisdom values in Palopo City. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive analysis approach, the research engaged a randomly selected sample of 271 students. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires distributed via Google Forms, which included multiple-choice, Likert scale, and true/false questions to assess students' understanding of Luwu's local wisdom. The findings indicate that only 37.9% of respondents accurately identified cultural values, revealing a substantial gap in students' comprehension of their cultural heritage. This research identifies an urgent need for educational materials that better incorporate local wisdom, aiming to enhance students' connection to their cultural roots. The implications of these findings for educational practice in Palopo City and broader educational research and curriculum development are discussed, offering valuable insights for the development of curricula that consider local contexts and improve educational outcomes.

The crisis of exemplary Pancasila leadership within Village Governments, who act as central figures in the economic, socio-cultural, and governance transformation process for comprehensive, gradual, and sustainable village development, forms the background of this research. This study aims to develop a theory on the characteristics of Pancasila leadership for Village Governments, with a specific focus on the Village Sustainable Development Goals (Village SDGs). Utilizing a Mixed Method Grounded Theory approach, data was collected through surveys, observations, and interviews with representatives from Village Governments across 39 3T (Remote, Border, Outermost) villages and 335 non-3T villages in 20 regencies. The findings reveal a strong understanding and clear perception of Pancasila values as the state ideology, which is reflected in various aspects of village governance such as policy-making, networking, and development activities. The application of Pancasila in the operational aspects of village governance, in relation to the Village SDGs, demonstrates an understanding of how Pancasila and the Village SDGs work synergistically. This highlights key factors that strengthen leadership character within village government, including effective leadership application and the recognition of the relationship between Pancasila and the Village SDGs. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of a contextual Indonesian leadership theory. In terms of policy, the findings recommend the integration of Pancasila values into village development planning and performance appraisal systems. Practically, the study yields a dynamic portfolio model as a tool for village officials to reflect on and document their leadership performance

The coastal village of Boddia in Takalar Regency faces increasing waste pollution due to the community’s limited awareness of sustainable waste management. To address this issue, a community service initiative was implemented using the Eco-Language approach, which integrates language and technology literacy in educating residents through the establishment of a local waste bank. The program involved several stages: awareness-building sessions, training in waste-based product creation, digital marketing workshops, and the development of a community waste bank structure. Actively involving local residents, the program succeeded in enhancing environmental awareness, fostering practical skills, and generating marketable products. Collaboration between academics and local authorities played a crucial role in shaping a mindset shift toward circular economy practices. The outcomes suggest that this model holds strong potential for adaptation in other coastal areas facing similar environmental challenges.

Sambas Malay community is included in an area with a tradition of spreading da'wah, one of which is the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour). The spread of da'wah through this tradition is a contact of customs and culture and is not in line with Islamic teachings. Hence, the tradition of fresh flour is one part of the cultural da'wah in the Sambas Malay community. This study aims to examine the value of da'wah contained in the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour) in the life of the Sambas Malay community. This research is descriptive field research using qualitative analysis. Data collection was done through observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study found that the form of cultural da'wah contained in the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour) in the Sambas Malay community consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and post-implementation. There are several values contained in this tradition of fresh flour such as having an open attitude, having high Islamic values, ethical and moral values, togetherness values, shared ideals, deliberation values, and socio-cultural values and religiosity values. As well as the relationship between the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour) with aqiqah, which is in contact with Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam, this becomes a style of tradition that exists in the life of the Sambas Malay community, which is seen in the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour)

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas mengenaiâ€ Tradisi Haflah Tilawah al-Qurâ€™an pada Masyarakat Tambe Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima; Perspektif Pendidikan Islamâ€ dengan fokus permasalahan : Pertama, Bagaimana gambaran tradisi haflah al-Qurâ€™an pada masyarakat Tambe di Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima. Kedua, Bagaimana nilai Pendidikan Islam dalam tradisi haflah tilawah al-Qurâ€™an pada masyarakat Tambe Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima. Ketiga, Bagaimana paradigama masyarakat terhadap tradisi haflah al-Qurâ€™an pada masyarakat Tambe Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yang bersifat fenomologis dengan menggunakan multidispliner diantaranya dengan pendekatan paedagogis, psikologis, dan teologi normatif. Berbagai pendekatan tersebut berkemampuan menjelaskan kondisi tradisi haflah tilawah al-Qurâ€™an pada masyarakat Tambe, mulai dari proses, pemaknaan, nilai pendidikan hingga paradigma masyarakat tentang tradisi haflah tilawah al-Qurâ€™an. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa realitas tradisi haflah tilawah al-Qurâ€™an pada masyarakat Tambe Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima, khususnya yang terkait dengan haflah tilawah al-Qurâ€™an berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, tetapi belum mampu diterapkan dan dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Adapun gambaran pemaknaan tradisi dapat dilihat dari dua aspek, yakni makna haflah bagi qoriâ€™ dan qoriâ€™ah. kedua, makna haflah bagi pemandu acara. Kemudian nilai pendidikan Islam pada masyarakat Tambe Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima, dapat dilihat dari aspek karakter/akhlak,tanggung jawab masyarakat dalam menjalankan tugas yang diamanahkan kepadanya, sudah mampu diterapkan dengan baik, namun jika dilihat dari aspek kepeduliaan sosialnya terhadap remaja hingga dewasa, masih perlu melakukan pembinaan secara massif dan intens karena masih banyak masyarakat (remaja hingga dewasa) yang memiliki tingkat kepeduliaan sosial masyarakat yang rendah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah berbagai bentuk kegiatan haflah tilawah al-Qurâ€™an yang memberikan dampak positif tehadap nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang telah dilakukan oleh masyarakat terkhususnya masyarakat Tambe Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima hendaklah ditingkatkan dengan berbagai kreatif dan pengembangan yang mampu memberikan dan menunjang nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam pada masyarakat Tambe. Evaluasi perlu dilakukan guna mendapatkan masukan tentang berbagai bentuk kegiatan haflah al-Qurâ€™an pada masyarakat Tambe Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima. Evaluasi tersebut, baik dari Pemerintah, Orang tua maupun masyarakat, guna untuk memperbaiki masyarakat yang diharapkan menjadi penerus dari orang-orang sebelumnya. Bentuk evaluasi tersebut; berupa perhatiaan, pembinaan , serta Kontrol terhadap kegiatan yang mentradisi tentang nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung di dalamnya. Pendidikan perlu perlu inovasi dengan semakin menggali potensi-potensi sumber daya pendidikan guna pembinaan yang berkelanjutan. Paradigma masyarakat terhadap haflah tilawah al-Qurâ€™an pada masyarakat Tambe perlu ditingkatkan dalam pembinaan yang massif dan intens, terutama pada Taman Pendidikan al-Qurâ€™an maupun pelatihan-pelatihan yang diadakan oleh Pemerintah setempat, guna penyebutan dan kefasihan serta kelancaran dalam penyebutan huruf sesuai dengan kaidah tajwid dan lagu tilawahpun terstruktur dengan baik karena dengan latihan yang massif dan rutin. Kata Kunci: Haflah tilawah, Nilai Pendidikan Islam dan al-Qurâ€™an.

This article discusses and analyzes the implementation of Islamic religious education learning and the supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping students' social attitudes at Balaroa Elementary School, Palu City. The type of research used in this research is qualitative field research using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. The results showed that the implementation of Islamic religious education learning in Palu City consisted of three stages, namely initial activities, core activities, and closing activities. The supporting factor for Islamic religious education teaching at Balaroa Primary School is the addition of Islamic religious education class hours. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the need for more motivation for some students and the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support learning. The analysis results show that the initial activities of Islamic religious education learning at SDN Balaroa can shape the social attitudes of students by forming an attitude of discipline, responsibility, and compassion for students. Likewise, the core learning activities can create and build an attitude of sympathy and empathy in students. Furthermore, the closing activities of Islamic religious education learning can also form an open attitude and the ability to work with students. Thus, implementing Islamic religious education at SDN Balaroa has implications for forming social attitudes in students.

This study aims to analyze the benefits and challenges of software implementation. This study uses a literature study method to explore the role of software in the digitization of Islamic education. The sources were selected based on their relevance to key themes, including the integration of technology in Islamic education, the use of digital tools in the pedagogical process, and the challenges and opportunities associated with educational software. Data collection follows a structured process, which involves searching for keywords in databases such as Google Scholar with terms such as "digital Islamic education", "educational software in Islamic studies", and "technology in religious learning". This analysis focuses on categorizing findings into thematic areas, including teaching methods, learner engagement, and teacher support, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subjects. The results of the analysis show that the integration of software in Islamic Religious Education learning provides many benefits, such as increasing interactivity and accessibility of learning. However, its implementation requires adequate infrastructure support and training. The benefits of Technology Integration are interactivity, helping to create an interesting, dynamic learning environment, and supporting active student participation. Accessibility allows students and teachers to access a wider range of learning resources, anytime and anywhere

This article aims to explore the integration of artificial intelligence in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and inclusivity of the learning process, as well as the benefits and impacts of AI in PAI. This study uses a qualitative approach using the literature review method. This method involves collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant literature, including journal articles, books, reports, and conference proceedings, to identify existing practices, challenges, and potential advancements in this field. The data is sourced from leading academic databases such as Google Scholar. The inclusion criteria prioritize research that addresses the application of AI in education, its role in improving Islamic learning, and related ethical considerations. The results of the analysis show that the integration of AI in Islamic religious education has brought significant changes in the way learning and teaching are carried out. This technology provides easy access to religious information sources, such as sacred texts, tafsir, hadith, and other important literature, which supports more inclusive and in-depth learning. AI also allows for personalized learning that suits the individual needs of learners, helping to improve understanding of religious concepts more effectively. Additionally, AI offers an edge in data analysis that allows educators to better understand learners' progress and devise more effective teaching strategies

This study aims to develop Natural and Social Sciences (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial/IPAS) teaching materials using a deep learning approach integrated with core character values to strengthen elementary students’ critical thinking skills. Employing a Research and Development design based on the ADDIE model, the study involved needs analysis through surveys of 100 teachers and 200 students across five elementary schools in Central Java, which revealed weaknesses in existing materials, particularly the lack of interactivity and moral content. The teaching materials were designed as project-based modules incorporating virtual simulations, case studies, and collaborative tasks that embed topics such as ecosystems and social dynamics with values of honesty, responsibility, and cooperation. The intervention was implemented in an experimental class of 50 fifth-grade students, compared with a control group using standard materials. Results showed a significant improvement in critical thinking, with students’ HOTS-based test scores increasing from 65% to 85% (p < 0.05, medium effect size). Qualitative observations also indicated enhanced cooperative and ethical behavior among 80% of students. Expert validation yielded a high feasibility rating (M = 4.5/5). The findings demonstrate that integrative deep learning–based IPAS materials can effectively advance both cognitive mastery and character formation, offering a holistic alternative to traditional instruction. This study contributes a validated, scalable model for strengthening critical thinking and character education, supporting broader adoption in the Indonesian national curriculum.
