Abstract

Network security faces significant challenges due to the increasing number and complexity of system vulnerabilities. This study aims to develop and evaluate a full combination method (ABC) integrating port scanning (Nmap), vulnerability scanning (OpenVAS), and penetration testing (Metasploit), and compare it with partial combinations (AB, BC, AC) for more effective vulnerability detection. Using a quantitative experimental approach within a controlled GNS3 TestBed, three key indicators were analyzed: number of vulnerabilities detected, detection time, and exploit validity. Experimental results show that the ABC method detected 62 potential vulnerabilities, including 11 high and medium severity CVEs, matching the AB method but significantly outperforming AC, which detected none. In terms of detection time, the ABC method achieved a balanced performance at 91 minutes, which is 31.5% faster than AB (133 minutes), while maintaining full exploit validation. Notably, the ABC method successfully validated 100% of critical vulnerabilities using Metasploit, confirming the practical applicability and reliability of the integrated approach compared to dual combinations. Overall, the findings demonstrate that the full combination method (ABC) offers superior accuracy and comprehensiveness in detecting and validating network vulnerabilities. This research contributes to cybersecurity practices by proposing an integrated detection workflow that effectively balances speed and depth of analysis, setting a practical benchmark for vulnerability detection systems applicable to both simulated and real-world network environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of environmental education into Biology learning and its contribution to enhancing students' ecological consciousness. This research employed a literature review method by analyzing 35 scientific articles published between 2019 and 2024 from accredited national journals and reputable international journals. The findings indicate that integrating environmental education through strategies such as project-based learning, the use of local ecosystems as learning resources, and the reinforcement of ecological values in Biology content can significantly improve students’ environmental literacy, conservation attitudes, and participation in real environmental actions. In addition, the integration of disaster risk reduction education into Biology lessons is essential in equipping students with adaptive skills to face increasing natural hazards. However, challenges such as limited teacher competence, insufficient resources, and lack of institutional support remain significant obstacles. Therefore, strengthening teacher capacity and developing contextual environment- and disaster-based teaching materials are key recommendations. This review confirms that integrating environmental and disaster education into Biology instruction is a strategic approach to fostering ecologically aware, resilient, and responsible learners.

Abstract

Computational thinking has become a crucial skill for students because it gives them the tools to solve complicated issues using organized methods. Implementing Problem-based learning and Design-based learning in science learning has significantly enhanced students' skills. This research aims to ascertain which of the two models is better for facilitating computational thinking skills among middle school students in science learning. The study used a sample of 69 middle school students selected through random sampling. This research employs a quasi-experimental, multi-group, post-test-only design. The instrument utilized in this research is a computational thinking skills test comprising five questions. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA to test the hypotheses. Tukey test results indicate that the mean difference score between the PBL and DBL groups is 1.2609, with a significance value greater than 0.05. The study confirms that Problem-based learning is more effective than Design-based learning in facilitating students' computational thinking skills. However, the difference between the two is not particularly noteworthy. PBL and DBL represent viable pedagogical approaches that can enhance middle school students' computational thinking skills in science learning.         Keywords: problem-based learning, design-based learning, computational thinking skill. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v25i3.pp1214-1223

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah adalah semua kegiatan atau aktivitas yang dilakukan untuk menangani sampah mulai dari sejak ditimbulkan sampah sampai dengan pembuangan akhir dari sampah tersebut seperti pengumpulan, pengangkatan, pemprosesan, pendaurulang sampah tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, yang di laksanakan di Desa Tanjung Batu Kecamatan Wawonii Barat Kabupaten Konawe Kepulauan pada bulan Agustus. Peneltian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Cross -Sectional Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh (KK) dengan jumlah 204. Teknik pengambilan sampel random sampling yaitu sebanyak 55 sampel. Dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan hubungan pengetahuan (X2 hitung = 20,354 dengan phi = 0,648). pendidikan (X2 hitung = 20,584 dengan phi = 0,651), sarana prasarana (X2 hitung = 17,884 dengan phi = 0,610) dengan pengelolaan sampah. Ada hubungan kuat antara pengetahuan, pendidikan, dan sarana prasarana dengan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga di Desa Tanjung Batu Kecamatan Wawonii Barat Kabupaten Konawe Kepulauan. Diharapkan bagi seluruh masyarakat Desa Tanjung Batu selalu menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sehingga dapat mengurangi risiko kejadian penyakit yang bersumber dari sampah sehingga mengurangi berkembangbiaknya vektor penyakit.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka telah diimplementasikan di satuan Pendidikan. Kurikulum Merdekat terdiri dari kegiatan intrakurikuler dan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila tersebut merupakan pendukung kegiatan intrakulikuler dalam kurikulum merdeka. Para guru sering merasa kesulitan dalam mengimplementasikan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila tersebut dalam pembelajaran. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Guru SD di kecamatan Bangorejo Kabupaten Banyuwangi terkait dengan Desain Penguatan Projek Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Masing-masing tahapan tersebut terdiri dari tiga langkah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan pendampingan desain projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila berjalan dengan baik. Peserta tampak antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Respon yang baik juga disampaikan oleh peserta kegiatan. Peserta kegiatan juga melaksanakan praktik projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila secara mandiri sesuai dengan yang telah dilatihkan sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pemahaan guru terkait dengan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila tersebut meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to produce e-modules for science lessons that are valid, practical, and effective to improve junior high school students' digital literacy and learning outcomes. This study used research and development methods with the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, validation sheets, student activity sheets using e-modules, learning outcomes tests, digital literacy assessment rubrics, student response questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study were validity test techniques, practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The results of the validation data analysis obtained a validation value of 91% with a very valid category, including aspects of content and construct validation. The practicality analysis results obtained a value of 91.20% with an efficient category. The results of the effectiveness analysis were based on the increase in learning outcomes, which resulted in an n-gain of 0.61 with a moderate category. Meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness analysis based on the ability of digital literacy indicators got an n-gain of 0.71 with a high category. The results of the effectiveness analysis were seen from student questionnaires, which scored 83.23% in the excellent category. Thus, the e-module product that has been developed is said to be feasible to be implemented in junior high school science learning to improve digital literacy and learning outcomes of junior high school students.

Abstract

The digital transformation of infaq management in Indonesia marks a strategic shift towards increased transactional efficiency and transparency. With technological advancements, the use of digital platforms for religious donations has grown, altering the landscape of charitable giving. This study aims to explore the impact of perceived ease of use, security, transparency, trust, and perceived benefits on donor decision-making in online infaq payments. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 respondents in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), selected based on their experience with online infaq payments, residency, employment status, and religious adherence. Multiple regression analysis conducted using SPSS revealed that ease of use, trust, and perceived benefits significantly influence donor decisions, whereas security and transparency do not. These findings highlight the importance of ease and benefits in enhancing the adoption of online infaq payments. Abstrak Transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan infaq di Indonesia menandai pergeseran strategis menuju peningkatan efisiensi dan transparansi transaksi. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, penggunaan platform digital untuk donasi keagamaan meningkat, mengubah lanskap pemberian amal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, keamanan, transparansi, kepercayaan, dan manfaat yang dirasakan terhadap keputusan donatur dalam pembayaran infaq online. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari 100 responden di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), yang dipilih berdasarkan pengalaman pembayaran infaq online, domisili, status pekerjaan, dan kepatuhan beragama. Analisis regresi berganda dengan SPSS mengungkap bahwa kemudahan penggunaan, kepercayaan, dan manfaat yang dirasakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan donatur, sedangkan keamanan dan transparansi tidak. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya faktor kemudahan dan manfaat dalam meningkatkan adopsi pembayaran infaq online.

Abstract

Early literacy skills are crucial foundational abilities necessary for a more meaningful life. The low levels of early literacy within society must be addressed to foster good literacy habits. Developing an ethnoscience module themed around environmental pollution can help improve community early literacy skills. This study aims to (1) assess the validity of the ethnoscience module on environmental pollution, (2) evaluate the practicality of the ethnoscience module on environmental pollution, and (3) determine the effectiveness of the ethnoscience module on environmental pollution. The research employs the ADDIE methodology: (analysis) problem analysis, (design) module design, (development) module development, (implementation) module implementation, and (evaluation) module evaluation. The study’s findings indicate that (1) the ethnoscience module on environmental pollution is highly valid with a score of 87.81%, (2) the module is very practical with a score of 90,97%, and (3) the module is highly effective, achieving an N-Gain score of 0.8 and a community response rate of 86.25% in the very good category. The research and development results conclude that the ethnoscience module on environmental pollution can significantly enhance early literacy skills in the community.

Abstract

Information on the fish biodiversity of the Cimandiri Watershed is incomplete, and human activities and anthropogen-ic impacts pose a significant threat to this biodiversity. The purpose of this study was to assess the biodiversity of fish in the Cimandiri Watershed. The results indicated that fish biodiversity in the area included 104 species belonging to 49 families. There were 26 species in the upstream area, 47 species in the middle area, and 61 species in the downstream area. Forty-three species were native to Indonesia, and 7 of the native fish were endemic to the area. There were 11 introduced species belonging to 6 families. Analysis of biodiversity status shows that 4 species were threatened, 2 spe-cies were near-threatened, 76 species were less considered, and 18 species have not yet been evaluated. Among the economically important species present, the eel is the most common in the Cimandiri Watershed. This study has re-vealed the profile of the Cimandiri Watershed, the characteristics of its ecosystem, fish biodiversity, economically im-portant fish species, the conservation status of fish species, and the threats to the fish biodiversity within it.

Abstract

Keterampilan creative thinking dan creative performance siswa dalam pembelajaran ilmiah masih relatif rendah. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh metode pengajaran yang kurang inovatif yang tidak mempromosikan investigasi otonom dan pemecahan masalah. Pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) berawal dari cara untuk meningkatkan pemikiran dan kinerja kreatif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk menilai dampak model PjBL terhadap pemikiran kreatif dan kinerja siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran IPA. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol posttest-only, dengan dua kelompok siswa: kelas eksperimen menggunakan model PjBL dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan metode konvensional. Dalam penelitian ini, creative thinking dianalisis berdasarkan aspek fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration, sementara creative performance dinilai berdasarkan indikator novelty, resolution, dan elaboration & synthesis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa siswa yang belajar menggunakan paradigma PjBL mengungguli kelompok kontrol dalam hal pemikiran kreatif dan kinerja. Dengan demikian, paradigma PjBL telah terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kinerja kreatif siswa dalam pendidikan IPA. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar penerapan model PjBL digunakan lebih luas dalam pendidikan IPA SMP untuk mendorong siswa berpikir lebih kreatif dan aktif saat memecahkan masalah keilmuan.
