Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelajahi potensi Teknologi 5G dalam memajukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Dengan memfokuskan pada aspek kecepatan tinggi, responsivitas, dan integrasi teknologi canggih, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai pengaruh Teknologi 5G terhadap pembelajaran. Melalui pendekatan studi literatur, hasil utama mencakup peningkatan aksesibilitas dan responsivitas dalam pembelajaran daring, pemanfaatan augmented reality (AR) dan virtual reality (VR) untuk pengalaman belajar yang lebih mendalam, serta dukungan Internet of Things (IoT) untuk pembelajaran yang disesuaikan secara personal. Namun, perlu dicatat bahwa masalah keamanan data, isu etika, dan ketidaksetaraan akses menjadi fokus krusial dalam menerapkan Teknologi 5G di bidang pendidikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa, dengan mengatasi risiko yang sesuai, Teknologi 5G berpotensi menjadi fondasi utama dalam membentuk masa depan pendidikan yang fleksibel dan inklusif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak penerapan pembelajaran berbasis game terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa. Melalui metode studi literatur, kami menjelajahi literatur yang relevan untuk memahami keterkaitan antara pembelajaran berbasis game, motivasi belajar, dan prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis game memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa melalui pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan menarik. Penggunaan elemen permainan, seperti tantangan dan umpan balik instan, membantu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, pembelajaran berbasis game juga dapat berdampak positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Integrasi konten akademis ke dalam format permainan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan siswa dalam menerapkan pengetahuan dalam konteks praktis. Walaupun demikian, penelitian menyoroti perlunya desain pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan pemahaman mendalam terhadap faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitasnya. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran berbasis game dapat dianggap sebagai alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa. Implementasi lebih lanjut dan penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan potensinya, dengan mempertimbangkan variasi dalam desain pembelajaran dan karakteristik siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of gamification in online learning, focusing on its effect on student motivation and understanding. Although online learning is effective in providing flexibility and accessibility, it often faces challenges in maintaining student motivation and engagement. Gamification, which involves applying game elements in an educational context, has been considered a potential solution to enhance student motivation and engagement. Using the literature review method, this research explores various findings from previous studies on the implementation of gamification in higher education. The results indicate that gamification has a positive impact on increasing student motivation and engagement in online learning, especially through elements such as rewards, points, badges, and challenges. However, the effect of gamification on long-term understanding of the material varies. Some studies indicate that while gamification increases short-term motivation, not all game elements contribute significantly to deep understanding. This study suggests integrating gamification with other learning approaches, such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), to improve long-term student understanding. This research is expected to provide insights for educators and curriculum developers in designing more effective online learning experiences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas pendidikan jarak jauh dan online melalui tinjauan literatur yang komprehensif. Hasil tinjauan mengungkapkan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan jarak jauh sangat dipengaruhi oleh akses terhadap teknologi, keterampilan digital siswa dan pengajar, serta kualitas materi dan desain kurikulum yang interaktif. Selain itu, motivasi dan disiplin diri siswa dipandang sebagai faktor kunci yang menentukan keberhasilan pembelajaran online. Tantangan-tantangan tersebut dapat diminimalkan dengan perencanaan yang cermat, dukungan tambahan seperti bimbingan dan konseling, serta keterlibatan aktif dari berbagai pihak. Kesimpulannya, dengan sinergi dan pendekatan yang tepat, pendidikan jarak jauh dan online memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif dan fleksibel.

Abstract

Background: The expansion of oil palm plantations in Indonesia drives deforestation and biodiversity loss, threatening pollinator communities. Agroforestry systems within oil palm landscapes may enhance floral resources, but their effectiveness is poorly understood. This study evaluates the potential of stingless bee (Heterotrigona itama) pollen analysis as a tool for monitoring floral diversity in different oil palm agroforestry systems. Methods: Pollen samples were collected from H. itama colonies in five distinct oil palm agroforestry systems (block-type, intercropping, row-type, fence-type, and palm oil-livestock) across South Kalimantan. Pollen types were identified microscopically, and diversity metrics (Shannon Index, Simpson Index, and Evenness) were calculated to assess foraging patterns and floral resource availability. Results: Analysis identified 30 plant species from 22 families. Agroforestry type significantly influenced pollen composition. Block-type systems exhibited the highest species richness (14 types), while fence-type systems showed the lowest (9 types) with heavy dominance by maize (Zea mays, 41.4%). Intercropping systems were dominated by Acacia mangium (51.2%). Row-type systems demonstrated the most balanced foraging (highest evenness). A moderate Sørensen similarity index (0.63) between pollen and field vegetation confirmed bees as effective samplers of landscape floral diversity. This research confirms that H. itama pollen analysis is an efficient bioindicator tool, revealing that agroforestry management directly shapes pollinator resource availability. Complex systems (e.g., block-type, row-type) support higher floral diversity, which is crucial for pollinator conservation and sustainable productivity in oil palm-dominated landscapes. This method provides a practical approach for guiding biodiversity-inclusive agricultural practices.

Abstract

Global agriculture faces challenges such as climate change, soil degradation, and increasing food demand, necessitating innovative solutions for sustainable crop production. Agricultural biotechnology offers advanced tools to enhance crop resilience, improve yield, and reduce environmental impacts. This study aims to explore recent innovations in agricultural biotechnology, focusing on their potential to support sustainable crop production under diverse environmental conditions. The research employs a systematic literature review method, analyzing recent studies on genetic engineering, genome editing (CRISPR-Cas9), biofortification, and biopesticides. The review covers both laboratory and field trials to evaluate the effectiveness of these biotechnologies in improving crop traits such as drought tolerance, pest resistance, and nutritional quality. Key aspects considered include technological efficiency, scalability, and ecological impacts. Results indicate that innovations like CRISPR-Cas9 have significantly enhanced crop resilience, with increased drought tolerance and pest resistance observed in crops like maize, wheat, and rice. Biofortification has improved the nutritional quality of staple crops, addressing micronutrient deficiencies. The integration of biopesticides has reduced the reliance on chemical pesticides, contributing to more sustainable farming practices. The study concludes that agricultural biotechnology innovations hold significant promise for achieving sustainable crop production. However, their successful implementation requires supportive policies, farmer education, and ongoing research to ensure safety, scalability, and environmental compatibility. The findings highlight the need for a holistic approach to integrate biotechnological advancements into mainstream agriculture for long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi memiliki peran penting dalam mencetak sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing tinggi. Salah satu indikator keberhasilan pendidikan tinggi adalah prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Prestasi akademik tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti motivasi belajar, minat, dan kemampuan intelektual, tetapi juga oleh faktor eksternal, salah satunya yaitu lingkungan kampus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kampus terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa aktif di universitas yang ada di Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yakni sebanyak 150 responden. Tehnik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini telah menemukan bahwa lingkungan kampus berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik kondisi lingkungan kampus baik dari segi fisik, sosial, maupun akademik maka semakin tinggi pula prestasi akademik yang dicapai oleh mahasiswa.

Abstract

Teachers’ work commitment is a key element that influences the quality of education in schools. Highly committed teachers tend to be more dedicated to their profession, resulting in better quality teaching and positive relationships with students. Intrinsic motivation is an interest that arises within a person, either in satisfaction or personal achievement, when carrying out a particular job. On the other hand, emotional intelligence refers to the teacher’s ability to recognize, understand, and handle their own emotions and the emotions of others, such as students. This study will explore intrinsic motivation and emotional intelligence to improve teachers’ work commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach, using a survey method involving 150 teachers. The questionnaire used in this data collection measured intrinsic motivation, emotional intelligence, and teachers’ work commitment. Multiple regression was used to analyze the collected data and identify the relationship between the three variables. The results showed that intrinsic motivation and emotional intelligence significantly positively influenced teachers’ work commitment. However, the impact of emotional intelligence proved to be much greater than intrinsic motivation. These findings indicate that developing emotional intelligence can be an effective way to improve teachers’ work commitment. Thus, this study suggests that schools should place more emphasis on emotional intelligence training in the context of teacher professional development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cognitive load and learning fatigue on students' success in solving Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions. Mental fatigue due to extensive and rigorous learning is known as learning fatigue, while cognitive load refers to the mental stress experienced by students when absorbing new material. This study used an experimental and quantitative technique. For this study, 120 students were used, half in the control group and the other half in the experimental group. Data were collected through cognitive load surveys, HOTS tests, and learning fatigue. The study's findings showed a correlation between cognitive load and students' performance on the HOTS test. Critical thinking and analytical skills, essential for answering HOTS questions, were often lacking in students with high cognitive load. Another factor that decreased students' efficacy in solving problems was learning fatigue. When students do not get enough sleep or do not spend enough time studying, they become mentally exhausted and lose focus more easily. This fatigue reduces their ability to persist in working on challenging tasks. As a result, students have difficulty applying their information in a higher and more integrated context, even though their knowledge is quite good. The importance of effectively managing cognitive load and learning regarding students' effectiveness in solving HOTS problems cannot be overstated.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan feses kambing dan tandan kosong sawit (TKKS) sebagai bahan kompos berpotensi meningkatkan ketersediaan pupuk organik, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas akibat kurangnya keterampilan teknis masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kelompok tani Desa Karang Jawa melalui pelatihan pembuatan kompos organik berbasis feses kambing dan TKKS. Kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, demonstrasi proses fermentasi menggunakan bioaktivator, serta pendampingan aplikasi kompos di lahan. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, di mana peserta dengan kategori nilai tinggi meningkat dari 12% sebelum pelatihan menjadi 60% setelah pelatihan. Peserta juga mampu menghasilkan kompos dengan warna, tekstur, bau, dan pH yang sesuai standar kompos matang. Program ini menghasilkan kompos yang siap digunakan untuk budidaya tanaman dan mendorong keberlanjutan melalui inisiatif peserta untuk melanjutkan produksi kompos secara mandiri.
