Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to analyze grammatical of word combination in 3004 years old children and its relation to gender. The sample consists of 4 children which are 2 girls and 2 boys. The method of the research is descriptive qualitative. The source of data is taken from utterances uttered by samples. The technique of data collection is tapping and noting. Data then analyzed using theory of Pivot Grammar by Brainne. The results show if samples produced 3 – 6 variations of grammatical of word combination and 2 variation of pivot grammar position. The findings of this research show if girls produced more variation than boys but less in number of pivot grammar’s position.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the didactic value and cultural value of the expression of prohibition used by the Minangkabau community in Nagari Biaro Gadang, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. This research method used descriptive qualitative method and was carried out in three stages, such as data collection, data classification, and data analysis stages. The data was collected by observing, interviewing, recording, and taking notes on the utterances conveyed by the informants. Classification of data was done by collecting forbidden expressions. Prohibition expressions are analyzed by using a hermeneutic approach to find out the meaning of the existing prohibition expressions. Analyzing data by transcribing the results of interviews, translating into Indonesian, grouping prohibition expressions based on didactic values consisting of religious education values, moral education values, and social education values and cultural values in forbidden expressions. The result of the research shows didactic values, which consist of religious education, moral education, and social education. In addition, in the expression of the prohibition of the Minangkabau people of Nagari Biaro Gadang, cultural values are also found. The conclusion of this research is that each prohibition expression had its own didactic and cultural values.Keywords: Prohibition Phrases, Didactic and Cultural Values, Minangkabau Cultures.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi seperti sekarang ini memberi kemudahan kepada setiap orang untuk saling berbagi informasi melalui sosial media termasuk Podcast Youtube. Namun, fenomena tersebut bukan tanpa masalah karena banyak informasi yang disebarkan mengandung kata-kata kasar diujarkan dengan berbagai gaya sehingga menimbulkan berbagai macam interpretasi di masyarakat baik hanya sekedar stilistika atau sudah termasuk ujaran kebencian. Penelitian linguistik forensik ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bahasa kasar Rocky Gerung yang diungkapkan dengan cara diralat dalam Podcastnya. Dua ahli bahasa dan dua ahli hukum diwawancarai untuk mendapatkan interpretasi dari ujaran bahasa kasar tersebut. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa menurut ahli hukum bahasa kasar yang diujarkan untuk pihak lain pada sosial media memiliki potensi masuk kedalam ujaran kebencian daripada hanya sekedar stilistika karena dapat merendahkan atau menghina pihak tertentu. Hal senada diungkapkan oleh ahli bahasa bahwa perlukusi dari ujaran tersebut memiliki tendensi untuk menyerang pihak lain daripada hanya gaya ujaran. Namun, keempat ahli tersebut sepakat bahwa untuk membuktikan lebih lanjut bahasa kasar yang telah diralat tersebut termasuk stilistika atau ujaran kebencian, maka harus dibuktikan di pengadilan.

Abstract

            Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi membuat kegiatan pembelajaran sangat bergantung pada pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Meskipun sudah memasuki pascapandemi, teknologi digital tetap terus digunakan, salah satunya adalah Youtube. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memaparkan 1) pemanfaatan media Youtube dalam pembelajaran menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter, 2) kemampuan menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter menggunakan media Youtube, 3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembelajaran menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter menggunakan media Youtube. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes menyimak cerita pendek. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VI SDN Babelan Kota 06, Kabupaten Bekasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini pembelajaran menyimak cerita pendek bermuatan pendidikan karakter memanfaatkan media Youtube sudah berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu, kemampuan menyimak cerita pendek siswa terdiri dari 25% berada pada kategori sangat baik, 53,6% berapa pada kategori baik, 14,3% pada kategori cukup, dan 7,1% berada pada kategori kurang, dan tidak ada yang berada pada kategori sangat kurang. Terdapat faktor pendukung pemanfaatan media Youtube bermuatan pendidikan karakter berupa visualisasi Youtube yang menarik, sebagai sumber belajar yang dapat diakses dimana saja dan kapan saja, dan memberi variasi   dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Adapun faktor penghambat berupa minimnya ketersediaan jumlah LCD proyektor dan speaker, jangkauan wifi terbatas, dan kendala teknis berupa listrik mati.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya mengaji unsur penceritaan (gaya bercerita) dalam novel Mencari Perempuan Yang Hilang karya Imad Zaki dalam bentuk dialog, dan laku dari tokoh-tokohnya. Terdapat (temuan) sebuah gaya yang berbeda saat beberapa tokoh menceritakan kehidupannya, mulai dari pergantian tokoh dalam bercerita sehingga mengungkapkan beberapa sifat manusia dalam novel ini. Analisa dalam naratologi mencoba mengungkapkan sifat tesebut dengan tiga bentuk Analisa, yakni fokalisasi internal lalu eksternal dan fokalisir luar dan dalam. Fokalisasi internal berupaya menggambarkan dialog “akuan” dari dalam diri dan fokalisasi eksternal adalah perasaan yang digambarkan orang lain. Bentuk fokalisasi alinnya yakni keluar dan ke dalam. Fokalisasi keluar yakni pendeskripsian tokoh berdasarkan lahiriahnya. Lain hal dengan fokalisor keluar, fokalisor ke dalam menggunakan unsur batin dan ingatan saat menganalisanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kepustakaan. Interpretasi teks didapat dari monolog dan dialog yang adal pada tiap teks novel ini. Menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Penulis menemukan sejumlah teknik (gaya) bercerita; 1. Fokalisasi interen (“saya”) berdasarkan narator, 2. Fokalisasi ekstern dengan bentuk simbol, 3. Cerita harmonis dan miris dalam satu bingkai novel tersebut.

Abstract

The intention of this study was to examine how a flipped classroom with a collaborative learning approach improved the writing skills of Indonesian higher education students. To achieve the study’s aim of 48 Indonesian higher education participants, the Oxford Quick Placement Test (OQPT) was employed. They were divided into two groups: experiment and control. Following that, as a pre-test, both groups were given a written exam. The experimental class (EC) was then positioned in a flipped classroom. Students were permitted to bring smartphones to class and utilize them while learning, and the flipped classroom was equipped with an internet connection, a laptop, and a projector. The control class (CC) got standard classroom instruction. This strategy was employed until the very last session. The experimental group outperformed the control group on the post-test, according to the results of the independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). Furthermore, the results revealed a significant difference in post-test performance between the EC and CC.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the storytelling elements (storytelling style) in the novel Looking for the Missing Woman by Imad Zaki in the form of dialogue, and the behavior of the characters. There is (finding) a different style when several characters tell their lives, starting from changing characters in storytelling so that they reveal some human traits in this novel. Analysis in narratology tries to reveal this characteristic with three forms of analysis, namely internal and external focalization and external and internal focalization. Internal focalization attempts to describe the dialogue of the "self" from within and external focalization is the feeling that is described by others. The other forms of focalization are outward and inward. Outward focalization is a description of a character based on his outward appearance. It's different with the outward focuser, the inward focuser uses mental and memory elements when analyzing it. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods using the library method. The interpretation of the text is obtained from the monologues and dialogues in each text of this novel. Using content analysis techniques. The author finds a number of techniques (styles) of storytelling; 1. Internal focalization (“I”) based on the narrator, 2. External focalization in the form of symbols, 3. Harmonious and sad story in one frame of the novel.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is how the value of character education contained in the autobiography book of Happy Little Soul. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this paper showed that there are 16 types of character education values, there are religious value, honest value, tolerance value, discipline value, hard work value, creative value, self-value, curiosity value, love value of the country, achievement value, friendship/communicative value, peace loving value, reading value, social caring value, responsibility value, and unyielding value.Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam buku Autobiografi Happy Little Soul. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dalam tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 16 jenis nilai pendidikan karakter, yaitu nilai relegius, nilai jujur, nilai toleransi, nilai disiplin, nilai kerja keras, nilai kreatif, nilai mandiri, nilai rasa ingin tahu, nilai cinta tanah air, nilai menghargai prestasi, nilai bersahabat/komunikatif, nilai cintai damai, nilai gemar membaca, nilai peduli sosial/peduli sesama, nilai tanggung jawab, dan terakhir nilai pantang menyerah.

Abstract

La rédaction d'un article scientifique est le processus de rédaction d'un document destiné à être publié dans une revue. Le but de cette recherche collaborative nationale à la Faculté des langues de l'Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) et de l'Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) en Indonésie est de découvrir le processus de mise en œuvre de l'apprentissage hybride-project based learning (H-PjBL) dans l'apprentissage de la rédaction d'articles scientifiques et de déterminer les forces, les faiblesses, les opportunités et les menaces de l'apprentissage. Cette méthode d'analyse de la littérature a été réalisée en recherchant et en rassemblant des articles pertinents avec les mots clés "implementation of hybrid et project based learning" mise en œuvre de l'apprentissage hybride et de l'apprentissage par projet). Les résultats de la recherche comportent 50 articles qui montrent que l'apprentissage hybride basé sur des projets a un impact positif sur l'apprentissage et qu'il est efficacement utilisé. Les résultats de cette étude ont démontré que l'apprentissage hybride-project based learning (H-PjBL offre une bonne qualité de projets d'articles scientifiques.

Abstract

Students' attitudes towards language learning have two sides, either motivating or even diminishing their learning enthusiasm. The main objectives of this research are first, to assess students' attitudes in learning descriptive writing in German language; second, to develop an attitude assessment model in writing based on 21st-century competencies. This research adopts an exploratory descriptive approach with a sample of 35 high school students. Data were collected through attitude assessment sheets referring to 21st-century educational competencies, namely critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, and collaboration. Data analysis involved categorizing assessment results using average scores from all respondents. The findings indicate a tendency that most students achieve a good level in critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration aspects in learning to write in German. However, there is still a small portion of students who reach a very good level, indicating a gap in students' abilities. The attitude assessment model developed in this research significantly contributes to teachers in measuring students' progress and helps prepare students to become critical, creative, and inspirational decision-makers in various learning situations and daily life. The use of this attitude assessment model shifts the learning paradigm from emphasizing outcomes to developing students' relevant skills for future demands.
