This study aims to analyze, identify, and develop the most excellent income strategy by empowering women entrepreneurs in the informal sector based on Jambi Malay culture using the Sustainable Livelihood Framework (SLF) approach. This research focuses on the development of informal businesses owned by women in the Jambi region, taking into account local cultural aspects that influence business practices and economic opportunities. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies on 1-5 women entrepreneurs in the informal sector based on Jambi Malay culture, such as traditional cake sellers, batik crafts, Jambi's special food catering, and small traders in local markets. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and analysis of related documents. The results of the study indicate that the SLF approach can provide a practical framework for understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by women entrepreneurs in the informal sector. In addition, this study also identifies key factors that contribute to the achievement of the most significant income, including access to capital, social networks, and gender-sensitive policy support. The implications of this research are expected to be a reference for policymakers and business actors in designing sustainable and culture-based economic empowerment programs to improve women's welfare in Jambi.
