Abstract

This study aims to improve students' lecture text writing skills through the application of Mahatera media (Mading Bahasa Teks Ceramah) in Indonesian language learning. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in class XI SMK Muara Ilmu with 25 students. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages, namely: planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation, and lecture text writing skills tests. The results of the study showed that the application of Mahatera media (Mading Bahasa Teks Ceramah) can significantly improve students' lecture text writing skills. The average score of SMK Muara Ilmu students in the pre-cycle stage obtained an average score of 47, in the cycle II stage with an average score of 70 and in the cycle II with an average score of 85. The ability of writing lecture text skills in grade XI students in the pre-cycle learning stage was lacking and did not achieve completeness above the KKM, the learning stage of cycle I experienced an increase of 36% from 8%, and in the learning stage of cycle II there was an increase of 92% from the pre-cycle stage to the cycle II stage. In addition, students showed increased enthusiasm, active participation, and thinking skills in organizing systematic lecture content, using persuasive language, and developing creativity in the wall magazine media. Thus, the Mahatera media (Language Wall Magazine Text Ceramah) has proven effective in improving the skills of writing lecture texts and is worthy of being used as an alternative interactive learning media in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using smart scroll board media in improving descriptive text writing skills in class VII.7 students of SMPN 18 South Tangerang City. The main problem faced is the low writing skills of students caused by the lack of variation in learning media and lack of motivation in writing. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The results of the study indicate that the use of smart scroll board media can increase student motivation and participation in writing activities. Quantitatively, there was an increase in the average value of writing skills from 64 in the pre-cycle stage to 78 in cycle I, and increased further to 90 in cycle II. In addition, students showed better creativity in composing descriptive texts, with the use of more varied diction and clearer sentence structures. Feedback from teachers and students also showed that this media was effective in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus (DM) merupkan penyakit gangguan metabolisme kronis yang ditandai peningkatan glukosa darah (Hiperglikemia) disebabkan karena ketidakseimbangan antara suplai dan kebutuhan insulin.Insulin dalam tubuh dibutuhkan untuk memfasilitasi masuknya glukosa dalam sel agar dapat digunakan untuk metabolisme dan pertumbuhan sel. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui kepatuhan diet dengan tingkat kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes melitus . Metode: Studi literature dengan terbitan tahun 2015-2021 dengan database Google Scholer, Pubmed dan Proquest. Hasil: Terdapat 10 jurnal sesuai kriteria inklusi, yang berhasil mengontrol gula darah dalam kepatuhan diet ( n=6), masih memerlukan waktu untuk mengetahui perubahan kadar gula darah dalam kepatuhan diet ( n=4), variabel yang berkontribusi menggunakan desain penelitian Cross Sectional. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan kepatuhan diet dengan kadar gula darah pada pasien diabetes melitus.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ilmiah melalui pendekatan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta tahun akademik 2019/2020. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membuat tulisan ilmiah, peneliti memberikan tes produk (membuat karya ilmiah) pada siklus pertama dan siklus kedua. Sebelum memberikan tes pada siklus kedua, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif kepada mahasiswa. Terdapat beberapa jenis kesalahan di antaranya dalam hal gramatikal dan leksikal. Pada siklus pertama, untuk aspek gramatikal sebesar 78,25% dan persentasi kesalahan siklus kedua menjadi 18,25% yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sekitar 60%. Sedangkan untuk aspek leksikal siklus pertama sebesar 77,5%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua berkurang menjadi 12,5%. Dengan demikian dalam hal menulis ilmiah menunjukan adanya peningkatan dalam poin leksikal sebesar 65%.  Hasil tes pada siklus kedua menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis ilmiah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif. Kata kunci: karya ilmiah, pendekatan kolaboratif, keterampilan menulisABSTRACTThis research aims to improve scientific writing learning through collaborative learning approach. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta in the academic year 2019/2020. To find out the improvement of the students' scientific writing skill, the researchers implemented product tests (making scientific work) in the first cycle and the second cycle. Before giving the test in the second cycle, researchers used collaborative learning for students. There are several types in grammatical and lexical errors. In the first cycle, the grammatical aspect was 78.25% and the percentage of error in the second cycle was 18.25% which showed a percentage increase of around 60%. Whereas for the first cycle aspect, it was 77.5%, while in the second cycle it decreased to 12.5%. Thus in terms of scientific writing shows an increase in lexical points by 65%. The test results in the second cycle showed an increase in scientific writing skills using collaborative learning approach.Keywords: scientific work, collaborative learning, writing skills

Abstract

Moral Values in Guru Aini Written by Andrea Hirata ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berisi tentang nilai-nilai Akhlak Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Nilai akhlak menjadi fokus utama pada penelitian ini karena akhlak merupakan salah satu pondasi dasar dari sifat manusia yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan perilaku manusia dengan Tuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai nilai-nilai akhlak berupa nilai takwa, tawakal, kejujuran, keikhlasan, sabar  dan syukur dari novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Novel tersebut memiliki nilai akhlak yang perlu diterapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat serta menjadi khazanah keilmuan berkaitan antara agama dan sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan analisis isi. Metode kualitatif ini dapat menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau atau isi komunikasi berupa percakapan, teks tertulis, dan fotografi. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini terdapat 6 kutipan dari nilai takwal, 14 kutipan nilai tawakal, 18 kutipan dari nilai kejujuran, 4 kutipan dari nilai keikhlasan, 1 kutipan dari nilai sabar, dan 14 kutipan dari nilai syukur. Kata kunci: Nilai-nilai akhlak, karya sastra, novelABSTRACTThis study contains moral values based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The novel has a moral value that needs to be applied in social life and becomes a scientific treasure related to religion and literature. This research uses qualitative method and content analysis approach, this qualitative method can produce descriptive data in the form of written words or communication content in the form of conversation, written text, and photography. Abstract

The magazine cover of Tempo holds considerable appeal warranting in-depth examination for diverse interpretations and as a potential instructional tool. The research aims to analyze the semiotics within Tempo magazine covers, employing Roland Barthes' theory, and integrate it into Indonesian language learning, specifically for 12th-grade essay materials. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study investigates six magazine covers to understand their denotations, connotations, and mythologies, facilitating students in drawing deeper meanings and enhancing their comprehension. By incorporating semiotic analysis into language instruction, students can develop critical thinking skills, particularly in discerning facts and opinions within essay texts. This research underscores the significance of employing visual media, such as magazine covers, to enrich language learning experiences and promote nuanced understanding of textual content.

Abstract

Fenomena konsumsi dalam masyarakat modern telah bergeser dari sekadar pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar menuju gaya hidup yang konsumtif, materialistik, dan sering kali tidak sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Pergeseran ini menghadirkan tantangan etis yang kompleks bagi umat Muslim, terutama dalam konteks globalisasi dan digitalisasi yang mendorong perilaku konsumsi impulsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk etika konsumsi Islami melalui integrasi nilai-nilai tauhid, kesederhanaan, keseimbangan, dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, dan budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan library research dengan menelaah literatur ilmiah relevan dari tahun 2015 hingga 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam berperan signifikan dalam menanamkan prinsip halalan thayyiban, menginternalisasikan nilai anti-israf dan tabdzir, serta menguatkan literasi etika konsumsi peserta didik di era digital. Implikasinya, pengembangan kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran perlu diarahkan untuk membentuk konsumen Muslim yang bijak, bertanggung jawab, dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan sosial sesuai dengan prinsip syariah

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines how Islamic values are internalised and sustained among Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students at a regional Indonesian campus, addressing the gap between moral knowing and moral action and the conditions that stabilise practice. Design/methods/approach – A qualitative case study was conducted at   (Universitas Negeri Makassar) Campus V, Parepare using purposive sampling: 30 PGSD students, one Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lecturer, three lecturers involved in character initiatives, and two da’wah-organisation administrators. Data comprised participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. Analysis followed Miles–Huberman procedures; trustworthiness was enhanced through triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing. Ethical clearance was obtained. The study was guided by Lickona’s moral knowing–feeling–action and Self-Determination Theory. Findings – Four reinforcing mechanisms structure a pathway from knowledge to practice: (i) PAI pedagogy; (ii) campus religious activities; (iii) worship journaling; and (iv) lecturer exemplarity supported by facilities/culture. Internalised values include faith–piety, honesty–trustworthiness, a clarified distinction between discipline (temporal order) and istiqamah (cross-week steadiness), and tolerance. Enablers comprise intrinsic motivation, family/community continuity, lecturer modelling, and fit-for-purpose facilities; barriers include heterogeneous motivation, academic fatigue, misaligned home rhythms, uneven modelling, scheduling frictions, and digital distraction. Participation was more focused when ≥ 3 mechanisms operated within a week, a pattern recurrent across weeks and settings. Research implications – Recommend a weekly cycle (class stimulus to collective engagement to reflective journaling to exemplarity/ambient cues), protected prayer-time windows, SOPs for lecturer exemplarity, facility optimisation, light peer review of journals, family briefs for commuters, digital-hygiene routines, schedule de-confliction, and recovery-time metrics.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the moral character and resilience of Muslim youth in facing modern challenges, especially the increasing threat of drug abuse. The method used is a participatory and educative approach through interactive seminars, focus group discussions, and role-play activities that emphasize preventive awareness based on Islamic moral values. The training materials include knowledge about the dangers of drugs, Islamic teachings on self-control and health, as well as strategies to develop resistance against negative social influences. The participants, consisting of students and young community members, are guided by a team of educators, health professionals, and religious leaders to ensure holistic learning outcomes. The implementation process is supported by pre- and post-assessments, observation, and participant reflection to evaluate the level of understanding and behavioral improvement. The results show that this activity effectively increases awareness, strengthens personal values, and builds resilience among youth. In conclusion, the integration of religious and educational approaches in drug prevention training plays an essential role in forming a generation of Muslims who are morally upright, aware of social risks, and capable of making positive life choices in the modern era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik yang memiliki gaya belajar beragam.   Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas VII C SMP Negeri 2 Jawilan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas 7C SMP Negeri 2 Jawilan  pada Oktober 2023. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini  yaitu deskriptif  kualitatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 66 % peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar visual, 22% peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik, dan 12 % peserta didik memiliki gaya belajar auditori.  Peserta didik membentuk kelompok berdasarkan gaya belajarnya. Peserta didik dengan gaya belajar visual dipenuhi kebutuhan belajarnya dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan gambar atau peserta didik membaca buku dan membuat bahan presentasi terkait materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk tulisan yang dilengkapi dengan gambar. Peserta didik dengan gaya belajar auditori  guru memberikan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk video dan memfasilitasi kegiatan diskusi kelompok dan meminta peserta didik untuk mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompoknya. Peserta didik dengan gaya belajar kinestetik, guru memajang materi pembelajaran di dinding kelas sehingga peserta didik difasilitasi kebutuhannya dalam aktivitas bergerak, guru menuntun peserta didik dalam aktivitas bergerak dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dengan observasi di sekitar sekolah melaksanakan pengamatan yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran  dan memperbanyak praktik secara langsung dengan bermain peran terkait materi pembelajaran. Peserta didik dapat membuat produk yang beragam sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi  yang telah dilaksanakan ini mampu memenuhi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik dan memiliki dampak positif yaitu peserta didik dapat belajar sesuai dengan gaya belajarnya, peserta didik lebih termotivasi, dan aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Peserta didik yang sudah mencapai ketuntasan sesuai dengan Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran yaitu sebesar 94%.
