Abstract

This study examines the impact of infrastructure on economic growth in rural areas through a comprehensive literature review. Good infrastructure, including roads, bridges, clean water supply, and electricity, is proven to play an important role in promoting economic growth. Improved access and connectivity brought about by infrastructure development facilitate the distribution of goods and services, reduce transport costs, and expand access to markets. This not only increases the productivity of the agricultural sector and small and medium enterprises, but also opens up opportunities for economic diversification and attracts investment. In addition, adequate infrastructure contributes to improvements in the social aspects and welfare of rural communities. Public facilities such as schools, clinics and access to information technology improve people's quality of life, providing greater opportunities for better education and health services. As such, these improvements in the quality of human capital strengthen the foundation for long-term inclusive and sustainable economic growth. The study emphasises the importance of consistent investment in infrastructure development to achieve this goal.

Abstract

Rural economic empowerment through agribusiness development has become an important focus in efforts to improve community welfare and reduce economic disparities between urban and rural areas. The review in this study uses the literature method. The review shows that agribusiness development has the potential to increase farmers' income, create jobs, and drive local economic growth. However, to advance this, challenges such as limited access to capital and technology, as well as the need for more supportive policies, still need to be addressed. Thus, a holistic and collaborative approach involving various stakeholders is needed to maximise the positive impact of agribusiness-based economic empowerment initiatives in rural areas.

Abstract

The role of government in MSME empowerment is the actions and policies taken by public authorities to support the development and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. This includes providing access to capital, fiscal incentives, supportive regulations, infrastructure development, as well as training and business support programmes, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness and contribution of MSMEs to the national economy. The study in this research uses the literature method. This includes providing access to capital, fiscal incentives, and simpler regulations, as well as developing physical and digital infrastructure. In addition, the government also plays a role in improving the capacity and competence of MSME businesses through training programmes, business consultations, and market access facilitation. In conclusion, with active support and synergy from the government and related stakeholders, an ecosystem that supports the development of MSMEs can be created, which in turn encourages national economic growth and community welfare.

Abstract

The global perspective of social economy law reflects the various approaches and policies implemented by countries around the world to achieve economic and social well-being. Using a comparative approach, this research explores the significant differences in legal regulation, government intervention, and welfare models implemented in Europe, the United States, and Asia. Policy analyses show that the success and effectiveness of the various models are strongly influenced by each country's historical, cultural and structural context. Case studies of the Nordic countries and Singapore illustrate how different social welfare strategies can result in reduced poverty and inequality, while promoting economic growth. By studying and comparing these approaches, policymakers can develop more effective and adaptive solutions to economic and social challenges in different local contexts.
