Abstract

Islamic work ethic is very important in improving the quality of human resources at the boarding schools in Banten. A lot of researches on ethics of Islam have been conducted, but still rarely carried out with the object of study in Islamic educational institutions. This study intends to reexamine the role of Islam in influencing the work ethic of intrinsic motivation, job satisfaction and its impact toward organizational commitment. The population in this study is all teachers who work at the boarding schools in Banten. 245 teachers gave answers to this research. Data were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The analysis showed five accepted hypothesis and one hypothesis is rejected, that is a negative influence and insignificant between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The limitations and suggestions for future research are discussed in this study.

Abstract

Dalam kajian ilmu pengetahuan seni berbicara atau sering disebut dengan retorika seseorang akan lebih mudah menyampaikan maksud dan tujuan dari apa yang dibicarakannya serta terasa enak didengarkannya dan tidak membuat bosan pendengarnya. Retorika merupakan salah satu kunci sukses didalam suatu kampanye atau debat politik karena menggunakan kata-kata yang menarik simpati masyarakat dalam mengkomunikasikan ideologi ataupun program kerja yang mereka tawarkan sehingga nantinya mendapatkan dukungan pada saat pemilihan umum (pemilu). Gibran Rakabuming yang kita ketahui adalah seorang pengusaha muda sukses yang kini melebarkan sayapnya untuk terjun dalam dunia politik yaitu menjadi walikota Surakarta. Dengan berlatar belakang pengusaha yang memiliki kemampuan beretorika  yang baik, dapat digunakan untuk mengambil simpatik masyarakat dalam proses pemilihan pilwalkot Surakarta. Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Retorika Gibran Rakabuming Pada Panggung Debat Pilwalkot Solo 2020. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana Analisis Retorika Gibran Rakabuming yang digunakan Pada Panggung Deba Pilwalkot Solo 2020 yang ditayangkan langsung oleh metrotv pada 6 November 2020. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut hasil penelitian menggunakan teori Retorika menurut Aristoteles yaitu ethos, pathos, logos. a)Ethos Gibran Rakabuming mampu menghubungkan kalimat yang terstruktur dan menata ide dalam makna setiap kalimatnya dalam menyampaikan visi misinya, b)Pathos (bukti emosional) dalam penyampaian visi, Gibran Rakabuming mampu membangkitkan rasa emosi, simpatik, dan bangga, olah vokal yang ditunjukkan Gibran sangat lugas dan tegas lantang terdengar jelas, tidak terlalu cepat, dan penggunaan jedanya juga tepat, sehingga sangat meyakinkan untuk mempersuasi masyarakat, c)Logos (bukti logis) Gibran Rakabuming mampu menghubungkan kalimat yang terstruktur dan menata ide dalam makna setiap kalimatnya dalam menyampaikan visi misinya. Walaupun kalimat yang digunakan Gibran Rakabuming cenderung konotatif tetapi struktur kalimat tetap mengandung penalaran yang logis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini berfokus dari tayangan yang diselenggarakan metrotv dan diupload chanel Youtube metrotv yang berjudul “Debat Publik Antar Paslon Pilwalkot Surakarta 2020”. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa Gibran Rakabuming dalam melakukan debat pilwalkot Solo memahami dan menerapkan elemen-elemen retorika (ethos, pathos dan logos). Berdasarkan elemen-elemen retorika tersebut pidato yang dikemukakan oleh Gibran Rakabuming mampu memberi dampak signifikan terhadap kesuksesannya dalam memperoleh kepercayaan publik dan juga meningkatkan presentase kemenangan dalam Pemilihan Wali Kota Surakarta.

Abstract

Most of the coal is used as fuel in power plants,cement industry and metal processing industry. Use of coal as fuelwill depend on the quality of the coal used. The main parameters thatdetermining the quality of coal is the calorific value. Meanwhile, the calorific value of a coalwill depend on several parameters, namely total moisture, total sulfur andash content. This study aims to determine the effect of the relationship betweenthe content of some of these parameters on the calorific value of a coal. Analysisperformed using the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).The stages of this analysis include sample preparation, air dry loss testing, residualmoisture, total sulfur, ash content and gross calorific value. The results of the analysis showthat the higher the total moisture content, total sulfur and ash content, the higher thecauses the lower the calorific value of a coal.

Abstract

This research is to find out the role of Perception Organizational Support (POS) as mediator of the relationship between Organizational Reward (O_R), Procedural Justice (PJ) and Supervisor Support on affective commitment on the teachers in Pondok Pesantren Al-Mubarok, Serang City. A total of 43 teachers were sampled in this study with sampling technique using random sampling. Analysis of data used is Path Analysis with the Lisrel program 8.80. The results of his research indicate that Perceptions of Organizational Support (POS) have been shown to positively mediate between the Organizational Awards and Affective Commitments; Perception Organizational support (POS) has not been proven to influence mediation between Procedural Justice and Affective Commitment; Perceived Organizational Support (POS) has not been shown to have an effect on mediation between Supervisor Support and Affective Commitment; and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) proved to have a positive and significant impact on Affective Commitment. Implications and suggestions are discussed in this study

Abstract

This paper attempts to discuss the comparative work ability between high school and vocational school graduates in the manufacturing industry. The labor market in Indonesia in general is still dominated by high school and vocational school graduates. Work Abilities used in this study are Technical Ability, Conceptual Ability and Social Ability. The selected research method is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to workers in companies in the Banten region, after the data collected are processed using the SPSS program. The analysis test uses normality test and different test uses Independent Samples Test. The results of the study showed that work ability had a significant difference between the workforce of high school and vocational high school graduates. Next discussion is discussed in this article

Abstract

The unemployment rate in the August 2019 period in Banten Province was the highest in Indonesia. The ability of Banten Province in preparing employment opportunities is at the lowest level compared to other provinces with the fact that the unemployment rate is 8.11%. This research offers a breakthrough in the form of resource sharing innovation between manufacturing companies and training institutions in the form of models. The research location was conducted in the three largest industrial areas in Banten Province; Serang Regency, Cilegon City and Tangerang Regency. These areas have the highest number of unemployed among other areas in Banten. The data collection method used purposive sampling technique. Where the sample is selected from the apprenticeship population. The questionnaire in this study was distributed to all employees who took 3 in 1 program who had graduated and worked. There were 250 questionnaires distributed to all employees, and 217 employees filled out the questionnaire and it was managed appropriately. Data and hypothesis testing were carried out through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using the IBM AMOS version 22 application program. The results of this study found that the Skill Development Fund has a significant positive effect on Workforce Competence, the Skill Development Fund has a significant positive effect on the Skill Development Center, the Workforce Competence has a significant positive effect on the Skill Development Center, Workforce Competence has a significant positive effect on Resource Sharing Innovation, Resource Sharing Innovation Has a significant positive effect on Skill Development Center, Skill development center has a significant positive effect on Human Resource Industries Competitiveness, Resource Sharing Innovation has a significant positive effect on Human Resource Industries Competitiveness.

Abstract

The aim of this program is to improve the skills and sensitivity of the team of practitioners in the design of concepts and strategies in the management and use of mangrove forest ecosystems as a field of community-based ecotourism. Output targets include; Increased knowledge about the potential of mangrove ecosystems that have the value of environmental services that can be managed and used as an ecotourism field in accordance with community participation and empowerment. With the implementation of this program, a form of strategy is obtained in the management and use of community-based mangrove ecosystems and assistance for local government programs in the context of mangrove ecosystem preservation that have been regulated in regional regulations on the management and preservation of mangrove ecosystems. The method of implementing the program concerns the potential of forest areas that can be used as ecotourism areas in this case, the village government of Serang Regency, Tirayasa District, direct observation and documenting the location of mangrove ecosystem areas, plan interviews concerning the management and use of mangrove ecosystems as a field of community-based ecotourism, and socialization of mangrove ecosystem management and use as an ecotourism field based on community strengthening and  Institutional. The results of the program obtained consist of a plan to manage and use the mangrove ecosystem as a community-based ecotourism field. This design will be a model that can be used by partners in this case the Lontar village government in Tirayasa District, Serang Regency in the development of mangrove ecosystems as an ecotourism area. The design to explore the management of plans and the use of mangrove ecosystems as ecotourism areas has been socialized by community leaders, youth leaders and village governments

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the direct effect of Work from Home (WFH) and Superiors' Support on Employee Performance. This study also examines and analyzes the indirect effect of Work from Home (WFH) on Employee Performance with Superior Support as a mediating variable. The sample in this study were ASN employees of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, Directorate of Highways, PJN 1 West Java, who implemented the Work Form Home policy. The number of respondents who participated in this study were 60 respondents. The method and analysis tool are the Partial Least Square (PLS) - Structural Equation Model (SEM) to test the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that work from home has a significant effect on superiors' support, work from home has a significant effect on employee performance, superiors' support has no significant effect on employee performance and superiors' support cannot mediate the relationship between work from home and employee performance. Further discussed in this study.

Abstract

The Village head is the highest authority in the village and as a formal or informal leader, a leader who is always in the midst of the people. The importance of employee performance in a government organization such as the Nagara Village Office is one element in achieving maximum service goals to the community. Of course, in this case the Nagara Village Head's Strategy is very influential on Employee Performance. However, it is inversely proportional to the performance of this Nagara Village Office employee. Performance that is not optimal will certainly affect services to the community. Of course, people are not satisfied with the services that have been provided by employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the Strategy of the Head of Nagara Village in improving Employee Performance at the Nagara Village Office, Kibin District, Serang Regency. The type of research used by researchers in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive approach based on phenomenological theory. The data collection tool or instrument is the researcher himself who goes directly to the field. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation, documentation, literature. The informants in this study were from employees who worked at the Nagara Village Office, there were 4 informants, namely the Village Head as key informant, KAUR Planning, KASI Services and General KAUR. The results of this study are the Village Office internal routine meetings have been carried out well, although the time is uncertain, it can be once a week or once a month, the organizational structure already exists, the facilities and infrastructure are complete, related to employee discipline is good, for rewards and punishments there are only more benefits if there are employees who excel, the quality of human resources is good, there are already partnerships with other agencies, namely collaborating with the Department of Agriculture and training in the form of training with Village Consultative body.

Abstract

One of the important resources in management  is human  resources. The importance of human resources needs to be realized by all levels of management. However advanced technology is today, the human factor still plays an important role for the success of a Puskesmas. The study aims to evaluate the HR management system in planning, organizing, directing, and contolling the work placement of officers at Puskesmas Malingping. The type of research used in the research is qualitative fenomenology research, namely observation, in-depth  interviews and documentation. The resuls showed that the Puskesmas Malingping reports the shortage to the health office by looking at the vacancies in the health center. Health workers, midwives and nurses who do not have competence in the fields of management, UKP Pharmachy and laboratory analysis are forced to fill the vacancies in these sections due to a lack of manpower. The conclusion of this researcher shows that the human resource management system at the puskesmas Malingping four aspects, namely planning, organizing, directing and controlling and its evaluation shows that the human resource management system in work placements at the puskesmas Malingping has not been maximized due to the lack of health works resulting in placement work that is not in accordance with the disiplince of science
