Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze student motivation in music lessons. Using a multi-case study, ten state senior high schools in East Lombok Regency were selected as the research sample. This research is a qualitative study using an in-depth interview approach in which data collection, observation and analysis of related documents is applied. Data presented in a narrative. The results of the study revealed that the artists in school are significantly functional and play a role in increasing and encouraging the level of student motivation in music lessons. This research concludes that students' motivation in music is strongly influenced by the presence of practitioners or artists who are in direct contact with students, especially in the learning process at school. Abstract

This study aims to find out the ability of MTs NW teachers in Aikmel Subdistrict to assess affective aspects in Indonesian school year. The type of research used in research is descriptive research. The subjects of the study were Indonesian teachers who were selected by purposive sampling or aiming samples. The object of this study is assessment in the affective realm of students. The results showed that teachers in assessing the affective realm did not make the right indicators according to operational verbs, the assessment also did not pay attention to SK-KD and the characteristics of the affective realm. Therefore, it is necessary to provide an affective domain assessment that is using non-test assessment, in this study it is recommended to use questionnaires to measure all characteristics of affective realms namely attitudes, interests, self-concepts, values and morals. The conclusion that can be taken from the results of this study is that the overall assessment instrument of the affective realm has been good and can be used as an evaluation tool in the affective realm by teachers. Suggestions that can be submitted based on this research, for Indonesian teachers who want to develop affective field assessment instruments should be considered difficulties in the preparation of instruments. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing e-learning on the learning interests of Madrasah Aliyah students in East Lombok during the Covid -19 pandemic. The type of research used is causal associative quantitative research. The subjects of this research were Madrasah Aliyah students in East Lombok with 71 respondents. The population in this study were all students of Madrasah Aliyah in East Lombok with a proportionate stratified random sampling technique, taking 20% of the total population. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire). Data analysis technique using linear regression. The results of the study show that online learning variables have a significant effect on learning interest with tcount > ttable (5.230 > 1.994). So it is concluded that the application of online learning through e-learning can increase student interest in learning and provide alternative effective learning methods for education in the future. Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance the readiness of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions to undergo the accreditation process through structured assistance. Based on the initial mapping of 76 PAUD institutions in Sikur District, East Lombok, it was found that most institutions lacked a comprehensive understanding of the accreditation instruments and had yet to complete the required institutional documents by the National Standards for PAUD. This activity involved eight partner institutions and was carried out through three main stages: training on accreditation standards, assistance in preparing institutional documents, and simulation of filling out the digital instrument (Sispena 3.1). The method employed was participatory and field-based, with a hands-on approach and intensive mentoring. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in institutional managerial capacity, digital skills of administrators, and the establishment of collaborative networks among PAUD institutions at the sub-district level. This mentoring program not only resulted in accreditation documents that meet the standards but also encouraged quality-based institutional transformation and fostered a reflective culture in educational governance. The implications of this activity indicate that a contextual and collaborative approach is effective in bridging the quality gap of PAUD institutions in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's leadership strategy based on SWOT analysis to improve the work readiness of vocational high school graduates. A qualitative case study design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, school management, industry partners, and alumni. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the school's strengths lie in transformational leadership, industrial-based learning through internships, and the development of students' work culture. However, weaknesses in students' technical competencies and limited facilities were identified. External opportunities include industry partnerships and government support, while threats involve limited job availability and a mismatch between graduates' competencies and labor market demands. The SWOT-based leadership strategy adopted by the principal proves effective in enhancing soft skills, but less so in improving technical skills. This study contributes to the development of a strategic leadership model in vocational education, particularly in resource-constrained contexts, and emphasizes the importance of aligning school programs with industry needs.
