Abstract

Pemanfaatan lahan tidak produktif di organisasi lingkungan merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat mendukung ketersediaan pangan lokal sekaligus menyediakan ruang pembelajaran bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendampingi masyarakat Desa Sipodeceng, Kecamatan Baranti, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, dalam mentransformasikan lahan yang belum produktif menjadi kebun edukasi hortikultura melalui kolaborasi dengan mahasiswa KKN UMS Rappang Angkatan VIII Tahun 2026. Pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pendampingan partisipatif yang mengadaptasi prinsip Penelitian Aksi Partisipatif dan Sekolah Lapang Petani. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi kondisi awal, perencanaan partisipatif, pembersihan dan penggemburan lahan, pembuatan bedengan, pemberian pupuk kompos, penyemaian dan penanaman, pemeliharaan, serta evaluasi izin. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan perubahan fisik berupa terbentuknya bedengan dan jalur perawatan yang tertata, tersedianya rumah semai, serta tumbuhnya beragam komoditas, yaitu kangkung, sawi, tomat, cabai rawit, cabai besar, dan kemangi. Pendampingan juga menghasilkan pembelajaran praktis, pembagian peran, dan kerja kolaboratif antara masyarakat dan pelajar sejak mengolah lahan hingga pemanenan. Kebun yang terbentuk berpotensi mendukung ketersediaan pangan lokal dan menjadi media edukasi pemanfaatan pekarangan. Program yang diperlukan memerlukan kelompok pengelola, jadwal pemeliharaan, penyediaan benih dan kompos, pencatatan pertumbuhan serta hasil panen, dan praktik replikasi pada pekarangan warga.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), khususnya di wilayah pedesaan yang masih memiliki tingkat literasi digital yang rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dasar pelaku UMKM di Desa Bila Riase, Kecamatan Pitu Riase, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan secara langsung. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, penyusunan program, pelaksanaan pelatihan, pendampingan praktik, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 15 pelaku UMKM pada sektor makanan, minuman, dan industri rumah tangga. Materi yang diberikan meliputi literasi digital, penggunaan WhatsApp Business, Google Business Profile, media sosial bisnis, pemasaran digital, keamanan digital, serta pembuatan konten promosi menggunakan Canva. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk mendukung aktivitas usaha. Seluruh peserta berhasil membuat akun WhatsApp Business, sebagian besar mampu membuat akun media sosial bisnis, menyusun konten promosi digital, serta memanfaatkan media digital sebagai sarana pemasaran dan komunikasi dengan pelanggan. Program ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kapasitas digital pelaku UMKM serta menghasilkan model pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis pendampingan yang dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan untuk mendukung transformasi digital UMKM di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Reconstruction of the Ethical Model of Public Leadership Based on Islamic Values in Strengthening Regional Governance: A Case Study of Sidenreng Rappang Regency". The background of the research departs from the urgency of strengthening public leadership ethics in realizing clean, transparent, and integrity local governance. The challenges faced include weak integrity of the apparatus, low accountability, and lack of optimal internalization of ethical values in the bureaucracy. The purpose of the research is to analyze public leadership practices in Sidenreng Rappang Regency, identify relevant Islamic values, and reconstruct an integrative model of public leadership ethics between modern public administration principles and Islamic values. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out with the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that public leadership practices have led to improved governance, but still require strengthening of ethical and moral aspects. Islamic values such as trust, fairness, shiddiq, and responsibility have proven to be relevant in building leadership with integrity. The resulting reconstruction model emphasizes the integration of spirituality, professionalism, and accountability. The research recommends the systematic internalization of Islamic ethical values in bureaucratic culture, apparatus training, and public policy in order to realize a community service-oriented government.

Abstract

Sustainable village development requires an approach that is not only oriented toward physical development but also toward strengthening institutional capacity and developing an innovation ecosystem capable of promoting village independence. Sidenreng Rappang Regency has significant agricultural, social, and economic resource potential that can be developed through locally based innovation. However, various challenges, such as weak village institutional capacity, low collaboration among actors, limited access to technology, and the suboptimal utilization of local economic potential, remain obstacles to achieving sustainable village development.This article aims to develop a collaborative governance model as a strategy for strengthening the village innovation ecosystem through synergy among village governments, Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), community groups, the private sector, higher education institutions, and local governments. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study, observation of village institutions, and analysis of innovation-based village development models.The findings indicate that strengthening local institutions is a key factor in creating a sustainable innovation ecosystem. The proposed collaborative governance model consists of four main pillars: strengthening village institutions, developing an innovation-based economy, digitalizing village services and enterprises, and building multi-stakeholder partnerships. The implementation of this model is expected to enhance village adaptive capacity, strengthen local economic competitiveness, and support the achievement of the Village Sustainable Development Goals (Village SDGs) in Sidenreng Rappang Regency.

Abstract

Digital transformation in village governance has encouraged the emergence of the smart village concept as a development strategy oriented toward improving the quality of public services and community welfare. One of the main pillars of this concept is smart mobility, which focuses on the use of digital technology to improve accessibility, connectivity, and the efficiency of transportation services. This study aims to analyze digital transportation governance in supporting the improvement of public service accessibility in villages in Sidenreng Rappang Regency.The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The analysis focuses on policy aspects, digital infrastructure, community participation, and the use of information technology in the village mobility system.The findings show that the implementation of smart mobility contributes to accelerating community access to health services, education, government administration, and economic activities through the use of digital applications, geographic information systems, and the integration of technology-based transportation services. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including limited internet network infrastructure, low digital literacy among the community, and suboptimal synergy among stakeholders.Therefore, policy strengthening, human resource capacity building, and sustainable digital infrastructure development are needed to realize an inclusive smart mobility system that supports smart village development in Sidenreng Rappang Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru PAI dalam menerapkan konsep generasi khaira ummah di SMA Islam Sultan Agung 3 Semarang. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan model interaktif melalui tiga tahap, yaitu tahap reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan peningkatan ketekunan dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah; 1) Gambaran guru PAI dalam menanamkan perilaku yang mencerminkan generasi khaira ummah. 2) Strategi guru PAI dalam menerapkan konsep generasi khaira ummah pada peserta didik. 3) Faktor pendukung dari strategi diterapkannya konsep generasi khaira ummah di sekolah yaitu sekolah yang mendukung, guru-guru yang menjadi teladan, motivasi peserta didik yang tinggi, dan adanya kerjasama antara guru dengan orang tua. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu keterbatasan waktu, pengaruh lingkungan, kurangnya dukungan orang tua, motivasi siswa yang naik turun, dan tantangan perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

Kitchen organic waste in Lise Village had not been systematically utilized, although family medicinal plants were already cultivated in some household yards and the village park offered potential for a public demonstration area. This community service program aimed to assist residents in converting kitchen waste into solid compost and composter leachate utilized as liquid organic fertilizer for family medicinal plants. The program was conducted from 1 July to 30 August 2026 and involved 27 village officials, community health cadres, Family Welfare Empowerment members, and residents. Activities included situation analysis, waste sorting, socialization, hands-on composting, initial leachate harvesting, application to medicinal plants, establishment of a village-park demonstration plot, and monitoring. One batch containing 4–6 kg of organic materials on a wet-weight basis produced 2.5–3 kg of compost showing field indicators of maturity after 30–45 days and 0.5–1 L of leachate, with the first leachate harvest on day 7. Diluted leachate was initially applied to 6 plants in a household demonstration yard and 30 plants in the village park, while mature compost was subsequently utilized as organic material for growing media and plant maintenance. Seven-day monitoring after initial leachate application recorded 30 surviving plants out of 36 (83.33%). Questionnaire and practice observations showed that approximately 90% of participants could repeat the main processing steps, while approximately 95% expressed willingness to continue the practice independently. The program established initial community capacity and a public demonstration area for household organic-waste utilization.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower a group of housewives in Damai Village by optimizing a 7x13 meter residential yard into a productive agricultural area. Utilizing a participatory approach, the program integrated intensive horticultural techniques for water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) cultivation with fundamental marketing strategies to foster household-scale agropreneurship. The activities encompassed the entire supply chain, including technical agricultural training, land preparation, planting, post-harvest handling, packaging, and digital marketing simulations. The results indicate a successful physical transformation of the previously underutilized land, ensuring family food security while generating new economic opportunities. Analyzed through the lens of community capacity building and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the intervention effectively shifted the community's paradigm from passive, subsistence-oriented planting to proactive micro-agribusiness management. The integration of entrepreneurial education successfully stimulated the participants' attitudes and perceived behavioral control, leading to strong entrepreneurial intentions. In conclusion, the synergy between agricultural practice and entrepreneurial strategy serves as a powerful catalyst for socio-economic empowerment, creating a resilient foundation for sustainable community-based agribusiness.

Abstract

Regional food security has become one of the most critical issues in the twenty-first century due to climate change, population growth, environmental degradation, and rapid technological transformation. Agriculture remains the backbone of food production and rural economic development, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia. Sidenreng Rappang Regency (Sidrap), South Sulawesi, is recognized as one of Indonesia's strategic agricultural regions, contributing significantly to national rice production while facing challenges related to climate variability, land-use changes, technological adaptation, and the sustainability of agricultural human resources. Strengthening food security in this region requires more than increasing agricultural productivity; it demands an integrated approach that combines agricultural innovation, education, community empowerment, and sustainable resource management. Educational institutions, particularly universities, play a strategic role in preparing competent human resources capable of developing resilient agricultural systems through research, technology transfer, and community engagement. This article examines the relationship between regional food security, sustainable agriculture, and education by using Sidenreng Rappang as a regional context. It emphasizes the importance of integrating agricultural education with research, innovation, digital technology, and collaborative partnerships among universities, government, industry, and local communities to strengthen regional food security and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study argues that enhancing educational capacity and research-based agricultural innovation is essential for building resilient food systems, improving farmers' livelihoods, and promoting sustainable regional development.

Abstract

Food security has become one of the most pressing global challenges due to population growth, climate change, and declining agricultural productivity. Agricultural education plays a strategic role in enhancing community capacity to develop sustainable food systems while promoting environmental awareness and socio-economic resilience. This study aims to develop a sustainable agricultural learning framework that strengthens regional food security through community empowerment. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research collected data through in-depth interviews, field observations, focus group discussions, and document analysis involving farmers, agricultural extension officers, educators, local government representatives, and community leaders. The findings reveal that integrating agricultural education with local wisdom, participatory learning, and sustainable farming practices significantly improves agricultural knowledge, innovation adoption, food production, and community participation. The proposed framework consists of five interconnected dimensions: agricultural literacy, sustainability-oriented learning, technological innovation, stakeholder collaboration, and community empowerment. These dimensions collectively contribute to improving household food security, strengthening local food systems, and fostering long-term agricultural resilience. The study highlights that agricultural education should move beyond knowledge transfer toward transformative learning that enables communities to become active agents of sustainable development.
