Abstract

Dalam proses produksi penyiaran radio tentunya harus melalui tahapan-tahapan serta memiliki teknik dalam melakukan siaran radio. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji bagaimana teknik dalam penyiaran radio serta apa saja yang termasuk dalam program penyajian radio. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka, yang merupakan teknik pengumpulan dan pengkajian melalui berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan lainnya yang terkait dengan permasalahan yang dibahas. Hasil pembahasan pada penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dalam program penyiaran radio, semua orang dalam radio ikut serta terlibat kegiatan penyiaran radio tersebut. Dengan keikutsertaan tersebut, maka segala bentuk barang ataupun produk yang dipasarkan ataupun dipromosikan di radio dapat dengan mudah dikenali oleh khalayak umum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah teknik penyiaran radio terdiri dari teknik siaran langsung dan teknik siaran tunda. Penulisan naskah menempati posisi yang sangat penting dalam menyebarkan informasi di radio, dalam penulisan naskah penulis naskah harus dapat menulis menggunakan gaya bahasa sendiri, padat, jelas, dan singkat. Bentuk-bentuk program penyiaran dalam radio diantaranya adalah program talk show, program seni dan budaya, program wawancara (interview), program hiburan pop, program suara masyarakat, dan program diskusi panel.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of social media on radio listener loyalty through a qualitative approach. In the digital era, social media has become an important tool for radio stations to interact with their listeners. This study uses qualitative methods with in-depth interview techniques and participant observation to collect data from 30 radio listeners who actively use social media. Data analysis was carried out using the thematic analysis method to identify emerging patterns and themes related to social media use and listener loyalty. The research results show that interaction via social media plays an important role in building and strengthening radio listener loyalty. Listeners who feel engaged and valued through interactive and communicative content on platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram tend to have strong emotional ties to radio stations. These findings indicate that social media is not only a promotional tool but also a means of building a loyal community of listeners. The practical implication of this research is the importance of radio stations integrating social media strategies in their operations and marketing in order to maintain and increase listener loyalty. Further research is recommended to explore the specific role of different types of social media content in building listener loyalty.

Abstract

Communication Technology Advancement requires broadcast radio management to have a strategy that is able to cope with intense competition in the middle of the computer era. The presence of radio broadcasts through internet-based on-line to stimulate conventional broadcast radio had to pack to spur meet the needs of listeners. Strategies undertaken in the radio broadcasts follow the trend of technology through radio broadcasts done by conducting research to meet the needs of listeners as a basis for planning the broadcasting format, scheduling programs based segment and timeliness in order to fulfill the needs of listeners. Radio broadcasts via on line to form a new broadcast of programs with the intention to expand the global reach of the listener as konskwensi of radio broadcasting in the era of technology. Broadcast radio capability on line is able to explore the entire universe globally, then the management of broadcast radio still sought listeners if they can overcome technological determination. Broadcast radio manage- ment strategy will continue to evolve in line with advances in technology. Whatever the technological advances of communication occurs when a radio broadcast is properly managed then the radio broadcast at any time until the listener will never be abandoned. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to find out whether parents’ interpersonal communication skills influence children’s social development in Simpanggambir Village, Linggabayu District, Mandailing Natal Regency. This research is a quantitative research using a simple linear regression analysis type. Using a purposive sampling technique, the research sample was 30 15 year old children in Simpanggambir. The Likert scale was used in assessing the questionnaire used in the data collection method. Based on the results of data analysis using the program SPSS22 determined the significance of the data obtained at 0.059. The conditions used are that data is accepted if the significance of the data obtained is >0.05 and rejected if the data obtained is <0.05. Based on the data obtained, the value of 0.059 is identical to data >0.05, it can be concluded that parental interpersonal communication has a big influence on children’s social development. Keywords: Interpersonal communication, parents, children's social development Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal orang tua berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan sosial anak di Kelurahan Simpanggambir, Kecamatan Linggabayu,Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis analisis regresi linear sederhana.Dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling,sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 anak berusia 15 tahun di Simpanggambir.Skala Likert digunakan dalam penilaian kuesioner yang digunakan dalam metode pengumpulan data.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan program SPSS22 ditentukan signifikansi data yang diperoleh sebesar 0,059. Ketentuan yang digunakan adalah data diterima jika signifikansi data yang diperoleh >0,05 dan ditolak jika data yang diperoleh <0,05.Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh hasil nilai 0,059 yang identik dengan data >0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal orang tua berpengaruh besar terhadap perkembangan sosial anak. Abstract

This comprehensive literature review navigates the ethical dilemmas surrounding communication on social media platforms. As technology continues to dominate various aspects of life in the current 5.0 era, social media has become a key driver of human activities. These platforms provide spaces for free and easy interaction, particularly among the youth, but also raise significant concerns regarding communication ethics. The widespread use of social media in Indonesia, despite ranking low in digital civility in Southeast Asia, poses challenges such as the increased spread of hoaxes, cyberbullying, and discriminatory behavior. With growing dependence on social media, especially among the youth, understanding the relationship between communication ethics and mental health becomes crucial. This article reviews literature on communication ethics in social media, emphasizing its impact on online civility, the mental health of the youth, and the ethical challenges in online communication in Indonesia. The findings suggest a need for policies promoting ethical communication on social media and increased awareness among the younger generation. The study advocates for educational initiatives focusing on sustaining and continuously applying communication ethics.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the role of Al Habib Hayqal bin Husein Alaydrus' communication in increasing the love of Rubath Adzikra Lilmu'minin students for the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This research uses a qualitative approach with a focus on the communication phenomenon between Al Habib Hayqal bin Husein Alaydrus and the student Rubat Adzikra Lilmu'minin. The research method involved collecting data through participant observation, in-depth interviews with Al Habib Hayqal and several Rubath Adzikra students, as well as content analysis of cults and lectures delivered by Al Habib Hayqal. The collected data was analyzed to identify the communication strategies, the messages conveyed, and the students' responses and perceptions of the communication. The results of this research are 1) The communication strategy used by Al Habib Hayqal Alaydrus in increasing students' love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW is using language that is easy to understand and relevant to the audience (students); strengthening Islamic values ​​and love for the Prophet; creating an emotional climate that supports spiritual bonds. 2) The impact of the communication strategy used by Al Habib Hayqal Alaydrus in increasing students' love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW is effective in building and strengthening spiritual ties with the Prophet; delivering religious messages in a structured and emotional manner has a positive impact on students; and increasing the students' sense of love and devotion towards the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

In this modern era, the phenomenon of adolescents is often exposed to social problems that are increasing day by day. Religious guidance is one of the initiatives used to provide knowledge and assistance regarding religion both physically and spiritually to residents of the Darul Anisah Protection House. With the provision of this assistance, it is hoped that the residents can grow into happy individuals in this world and in the hereafter and can avoid actions that violate shara' law. The purpose of this study is to determine the religious guidance services to troubled women in providing legal protection at Darul Anisah Protection House Kuantan Pahang Malaysia. The research method used in this article is case study qualitative research. Case study research is a form of qualitative research based on human understanding and behavior based on human opinion. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the results discussed in this article are about religious guidance services for troubled women by applying Islamic religious principles through religious guidance methods and materials.

Abstract

Poverty remains a big problem in Indonesia, including in the city of Medan. According to BPS data, the percentage of poor people in Indonesia decreased from 9.57% in September 2022 to 9.36% in March 2023. This decline was also seen in North Sumatra, from 8.33% to 8.15% in the same period. LAZISMU, as a zakat institution, uses various marketing communication strategies to increase public awareness and participation in poverty alleviation programs in Medan City. The approaches used include social media, collaboration with local media, and community events such as bazaars and workshops. Philip Kotler's marketing theory is the basis for this research methodology. The research results show that the communication strategy implemented was successful in increasing public awareness and participation, although there were still obstacles related to limited funds. LAZISMU is expected to be able to develop more effective fundraising strategies and collaborate with various parties to increase the flow of funds and program sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Informative Communication Technique of the North Sumatra Election Supervisory Agency in Socializing the Prevention of Election Violations 2024. This type of research is included in field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with relevant parties in Bawaslu North Sumatera. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and interpretatively with a focus on explanations in the form of words, although there were some quantitative data that were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the informative communication techniques applied by Bawaslu North Sumatra were successful. There was a significant increase in public understanding of election regulations, marked by a decrease in the number of campaign violations and increased participation in reporting violations. In addition, the training and workshops conducted for political parties succeeded in increasing their level of compliance with election regulations. These communication techniques also reflect the principles of honesty, transparency and responsibility in accordance with Islamic teachings, making the electoral process more fair and democratic.

Abstract

Kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah menjadi pendorong utama transformasi dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk media penyiaran. Dalam jurnalisme, AI menawarkan cara baru dalam manajemen peliputan, mulai dari pelacakan isu hingga otomatisasi penulisan. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana manajemen peliputan berbasis AI memengaruhi efisiensi dan kreativitas jurnalis, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang muncul dari penerapannya. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis literatur dan wawancara mendalam dengan praktisi media. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa AI dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, tetapi ada kekhawatiran mengenai penurunan kreativitas dan humanisme dalam karya jurnalistik.
