Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship education on the economic empowerment of coastal women with self-efficacy and financial literacy as mediating variables in Makassar City. Quantitative research was used involving 100 coastal women respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on women's economic empowerment. Entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on coastal women's self-efficacy. Entrepreneurship education influences coastal women's financial literacy. Indirectly, coastal women's economic empowerment is positively and significantly influenced by entrepreneurship education through self-efficacy. Entrepreneurship education has a positive, significant effect on the economic empowerment of coastal women in Makassar City by enhancing their financial literacy. Important findings show that self-efficacy and financial literacy can partially and significantly mediate the relationship between entrepreneurship education and coastal women's economic empowerment. This research model emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurship education, not only focusing on knowledge transfer but also on building self-confidence and financial literacy to empower sustainable economic development for coastal women in Makassar City.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify the gap between the practice requirements and the outputs of the audit education and training center and to identify the contribution of the forensic accounting curriculum in filling the gap. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample is 124 respondents with professional backgrounds as auditors and accountants educators in Indonesia. The data collection method implemented in this research is the survey method through the distribution of questionnaires and direct interview techniques with the non-participatory observation which aims to find out more details about the case being studied without actively involving the object of study. Furthermore, this study explores the best possible strategies in shaping learning outcomes that are competent and ready to practice as auditors based on various previous studies and contributes to auditing education and training centers and universities by providing material for consideration in the preparation of strategic plans and learning programs. This study can also contribute to prospective auditors who are considering alternative audit training curricula by providing various competency recommendations for the needs of current auditing practices.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam tidak hanya bertujuan membentuk insan yang beriman dan berakhlak mulia, tetapi juga relevan dalam membangun jiwa kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep pendidikan Islam dalam perspektif kewirausahaan, mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai Islam yang mendukung pengembangan entrepreneurship, serta menjelaskan implementasinya dalam membentuk karakter wirausaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data diperoleh dari literatur ilmiah, Al-Qur’an, hadis, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam mengandung prinsip-prinsip kewirausahaan seperti kejujuran, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, dan kreativitas. Nilai-nilai tersebut tercermin dalam ajaran Islam dan dapat diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan formal maupun nonformal. Implementasi pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk karakter wirausaha dilakukan melalui strategi integrasi kurikulum, keteladanan, serta pembinaan praktik kewirausahaan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan Islam memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk wirausahawan yang tidak hanya kompeten secara ekonomi, tetapi juga beretika dan bertanggung jawab secara moral dan spiritual.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors causing low work motivation among employees in the culinary business, particularly cafes, in Parepare City and to formulate strategic recommendations for increasing work motivation. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of eight cafe employees with diverse job backgrounds and lengths of service. The results showed that employee work motivation tended to be low and unstable, mainly influenced by internal factors such as a lack of reward systems, limited opportunities for self-development, and weak motivational communication from management. In addition, external factors such as an suboptimal compensation system, long working hours, high workload during busy hours, and limited managerial support also contribute to low work motivation. These conditions have an impact on decreased work enthusiasm, task effectiveness, teamwork, and service quality. This study emphasizes the importance of structured work motivation management through the implementation of a reward system, proportional working hours, employee training, and the creation of a conducive work environment. These findings provide empirical contributions to the study of work motivation in culinary MSMEs in the context of small cities and can serve as a practical reference for managers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan kurikulum berbasis karakter terhadap perkembangan moral siswa di SMA 1 Polewali. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya moralitas sebagai bagian integral dari pembentukan karakter, serta adanya fenomena bahwa perkembangan moral siswa belum sepenuhnya optimal meskipun kurikulum berbasis karakter telah diterapkan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eksplanatori. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 120 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling acak proporsional. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan diperkuat dengan observasi serta wawancara terbatas. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji prasyarat, dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum berbasis karakter berada pada kategori tinggi, demikian pula perkembangan moral siswa. Hasil analisis regresi mengungkapkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis karakter berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan moral siswa, dengan kontribusi sebesar 44,6%. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran, keteladanan, dan budaya sekolah yang kondusif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kerja sama antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua untuk mendukung perkembangan moral siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional adalah suatu pendekatan kepemimpinan yang fokus pada pengembangan dan pemberdayaan bawahan melalui inspirasi, motivasi, dan peningkatan kesadaran akan tujuan bersama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen penelitian, dan analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif/statistik. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terbagi atas analisis deskriptif dan Analisis Regresi Linier Sederhana. Sementara untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji T dan Koefisien Determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional di SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang dinilai cukup baik, dengan nilai rata-rata 178,41, menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan tersebut memberikan dorongan dan keterlibatan yang memadai terhadap guru-guru di sekolah. Analisis regresi linier sederhana menegaskan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a strategic role in shaping students’ Islamic understanding and Islamic character, particularly in integrated Islamic schools. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Islamic Religious Education program in developing students’ Islamic understanding at SMPIT As-Sunnah Makassar. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with the school principal, IRE teachers, students, and parents, as well as document analysis. Data analysis was conducted inductively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation techniques used to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that the IRE program at SMPIT As-Sunnah Makassar is holistically designed by integrating the national curriculum and diniyyah curriculum, and is implemented through intrakurikuler learning and non-formal Islamic character development activities. The program has proven effective in enhancing students’ Islamic understanding across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, as reflected in increased religious knowledge, worship skills, and the development of Islamic morals and character. Nevertheless, further optimization is needed in terms of documenting student development and utilizing evaluation technologies. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development and improvement of the quality of Islamic Religious Education programs in integrated Islamic schools.
