Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an is a primary skill for Muslims. The Talaqqi method, which involves reciting verses repeatedly and then submitting them to the teacher, was chosen to facilitate memorization for young children. The research problem is how teachers implement the Talaqqi method and how to improve the ability to memorize the Qur'an in young children at the Islamic Kindergarten 'Uluwwul Himmah. The study used a classroom action research method (Action Research) with stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The results of the observation showed that teachers and students interacted directly during the memorization process. Indicators of the ability to memorize short surahs according to the rules of tajweed were achieved in the categories of Good (22 children/73%) and Very Good (8 children/27%). Thus, the ability to memorize short surahs of children at the Islamic Kindergarten 'Uluwwul Himmah is quite good, fluent, and according to the rules of tajweed.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) on the mathematics learning motivation of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Palu. The problem stems from students’ low motivation, which leads to difficulties in understanding concepts, weak problem-solving skills, and low learning outcomes. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, carried out in two cycles with 32 students as the subjects. Data were collected through a Likert-scale motivation questionnaire and classroom observation. The results showed an increase in learning motivation from 61% (moderate category) in the pre-cycle, to 66% (moderate category) in the first cycle, and 76% (high category) in the second cycle. Improvements were evident in several indicators, including the desire to succeed, learning drive, future aspirations, recognition in learning, engaging learning activities, and a supportive classroom environment. Thus, the implementation of CRT was proven to enhance students’ mathematics learning motivation through contextual, meaningful, and culturally relevant instruction, while also highlighting the importance of integrating students’ cultural backgrounds and real-life experiences as strategies to foster motivation and active participation in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juni 2021 di Desa Kala Kecamatan Donggo Kabupaten Bima. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan wujud etika berbahasa Indonesia pada masyarakat kalangan Ekonomi Menengah Desa Kala Kecamatan Donggo Kabupaten Bima dalam bahasa, tutur sapa yang sesuai dengan norma-norma sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang diawali dengan pengamatan, wawancara. Kemudian dianalisis dengan cara mengelompokkan kata-kata yang berkaitan dengan bahasa, tutur sapa yang sesuai dengan norma-norma sosial.Tekhnik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif yang ditekankan pada metode analisis kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam proses bertutur sapa masyarakat Bima umumnya cenderung bersikap sopan dan hormat mempertahankan etika dalam bertutur sapa, tanpa melihat status dari setiap individu. Jadi penelitian dapat disimpulkan dari tinjauan sosiolinguistik bahwa etika berbahasa Indonesia masyarakat kalangan ekonomi menengah Desa Kala Kecamatan Donggo Kabupaten Bima sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia, jabatan, situasi dan tempat.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of learning. The quality of learning that is improved in this study includes the activities and learning outcomes of students. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were fourth-grade students of SDIP Assunnah Tamalate Makassar in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data obtained in this study is quantitative. Data collection techniques used are test and non-test techniques. The research instruments used include Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), test instruments, and non-test instruments. The data analysis technique used is to calculate multiple-choice test scores, determine the class average, and the percentage of complete learning. The final score on the formative multiple-choice test is obtained by dividing the number of correct answers by the total number of items and then multiplying by one hundred. The percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle was 66.67% or 20 students were in a complete category and as many as 10 people or 33.33% were in the incomplete category. In cycle II, 100% or 30 students were in a complete category and nothing else or 0% were in the incomplete category. The results of the research activities above prove that the learning outcomes of Indonesian language learning materials for writing paragraphs in fourth-grade students of SDIP Assunnah, Makassar through the application of the process skills approach have increased. Researchers provide suggestions for improving the quality of learning. Suggestions given by researchers are intended for teachers and schools

Abstract

Performance is an assessment of the work of employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Under-optimal performance can be caused by conflict factors and work stress experienced by employees. This study analyzes the influence of conflict and work stress on the performance of employees of PT. I.C. Varistor Division Bekasi. The population is 86 Varistor employees, with saturated sampling techniques. The method used is an associative quantitative approach with data collection including observation, filling out questionnaires and documentation, and data is analyzed using SPSS V. 25.  The results of the multiple linear analysis test produced regression equations: Y = 135.487 - 0.392(X1) - 0.693(X2). The results of the partial T test of the conflict had a negative and significant effect with t count (-6.559) > t table 1.989, sig 0.000 < 0.05. Work stress had a negative and significant effect with t count (–12.111) > t table 1.989, sig 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneous tests showed both negative and significant variables (F count 262.129 > F table 3.11, sig 0.000 < 0.05). The determination coefficient showed that 86% of performance was influenced by conflict and work stress and the rest was influenced by other variables. Companies are advised to conduct periodic evaluations to manage conflicts and work stress in improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study is a pre-experimental research that aims to investigate: (1) students’ conceptual understanding ability after the implementation of Problem Based Learning assisted by a geoboard, and (2) whether the implementation of Problem Based Learning assisted by a geoboard has an effect on students’ conceptual understanding ability in congruence material. Data were obtained from observations and tests. The data were analyzed using statistics. The results show that the implementation of Problem Based Learning assisted by a geoboard has an effect on students’ conceptual understanding ability in congruence material, with an effect size of 0.667, which falls into the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of learning motivation of grade VIII.K through the provision of rewards in the form of activeness stickers as a form of positive reinforcement. Initial observations show that most students are not interested in learning mathematics, as evidenced by their low participation in answering questions, doing exercises, and discussing. This condition makes it difficult for teachers to encourage students to be more enthusiastic and motivated. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which adapts the Action research model by Kemmis & McTaggart. The subjects in this study were 32 students in class VIII.K. In collecting data, this study used the method of observation of learning activities and a mathematics learning motivation questionnaire using a research instrument in the form of a mathematics learning motivation questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The results showed that the average student learning motivation went from 65 (sufficient category) in the pre-cycle, to 74 (high category) in the first cycle, and to 86 (very high category) in the second cycle. Thus, the provision of rewards in the form of activeness stickers as a form of positive reinforcement has been proven to increase the motivation to learn mathematics of students in class VIII.K SMP Negeri 2 Palu. This improvement shows that simple reward such as activeness stickers are able to be foster a sense of joy, be appreciated, and encourage to be more active in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan proses sains siswa yag dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.C UPT SMP Negeri 1 Enrekang yang berjumlah 20 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam aspek pengetahuan atau tes soal pada siklus 1 diperoleh skor 63, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 69, lalu meningkat pada siklus III 77. Keterampilan proses sains siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata 46, meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 64 kemudian menigkat lagi di siklus II dengan prolehan skor rata-rata 84. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerpan model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan proses sains siswa

Abstract

Konsentrasi belajar merupakan masalah yang krusial dalam proses pengajaran di dalam kelas. Peneliti mengusung inovasi penerapan digital storytelling merupakan media pembelajaran visual. Digital Storytelling merupakan praktik yang memnggabungkan cerita pribadi dengan multimedi (gambar, audio dan teks). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan 2 siklus pada pelaksanaan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik memiliki peningkatan konsentrasi belajar sebesar 2% pasca penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa peserta didik memiliki peningkatan pemusatan perhatian dan pendengaran selama proses pembelajaran dalam penelitian tindakan kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : peningkatan Motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik yang dengan menerapkan Discovery learning. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mctaggart dengan tahapan: (1) Perencanaan (Planning), (2) Pelaksanaan dan Observasi (Acting and Observing), dan (3) Refleksi (Reflecting). Metode penelitian ini melibatkan 33 peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan lembar observasi guru, instrument tes dan angket motivasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif secara presentasi ketuntasan individu dan klasikal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata- rata nilai pengetahuan siswa meningkat dari 74 pada siklus 1 menjadi 84,2 pada siklus 2. Jumlah siswa yang tuntas meningkat dari 73,33% pada siklus 1 menjadi 84,42% pada siklus 2. Rata-rata nilai angket motivasi siswa meningkat dari 82,4 pada siklus 1 menjadi 102,4 pada siklus 2. Jumlah siswa yang tuntas meningkat dari 68,83% menjadi 85,83%. Rata-rata aktivitas guru meningkat dari 78,75% (Baik) pada siklus 1 menjadi 88,5% (Sangat Baik) pada siklus 2, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Discovery learning mampu meningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII E UPT SMP Negeri 1 Mangarabombang pada materi sistem tata surya.
