Abstract

Management and leadership are two interrelated components that play a crucial role in determining the success of an organization. Management focuses on planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling organizational resources to achieve goals effectively and efficiently, while leadership emphasizes influencing, motivating, and guiding individuals toward achieving shared objectives. This paper aims to analyze the relationship between management and leadership and their contribution to improving organizational performance, particularly in educational institutions. The study employs a library research method by reviewing relevant books, journal articles, and previous studies. The findings indicate that effective management cannot function optimally without strong leadership, and effective leadership requires a well-structured management system to achieve organizational goals sustainably. Therefore, the integration of management and leadership is essential for establishing good governance, fostering innovation, enhancing organizational performance, and improving the quality and competitiveness of educational institutions in the era of globalization and digital transformation.

Abstract

The research is to find out how digital literacy is applied to Arabic language learning in madrasas. The qualitative research method was used where the data was taken from interviews and observation. The informants of the research involved three Arabic language teachers and 30  grade 11 students selected randomly. The research showed that the use of digital literacy in Arabic language learning at State Madrasah Aliyah 2 had been used well and had a positive impact on students' interest in understanding Arabic language material provided by the teachers. Students are generally more enthusiastic, more creative, and more challenged to learn Arabic using digital learning media.  The digital media used in the madrasah are InFocus projectors, laptops, and Android cellphones using the applications available on the media platform. For example, WhatsApp, YouTube, TikTok, Kahoot, and Quiziz applications. The research recommended, Increasing the procurement of projectors in each classroom and increasing the internet connection in schools to make it more stable so that it can be easily accessed by teachers and students in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competitive anxiety on the performance of rounders games among students at SDN 2 Lamcot Aceh Besar. Competitive anxiety is a condition of anxiety that arises when students face competitive situations or matches, which can affect performance, concentration, and self-confidence during the game. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consisted of students of SDN 2 Lamcot Aceh Besar who participated in rounders games activities, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research instruments included a competitive anxiety questionnaire and a rounders game observation sheet. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple regression tests to determine the effect between variables. The results showed that competitive anxiety has an effect on students’ rounders playing ability. High levels of anxiety tend to reduce concentration, movement coordination, and students’ confidence in making decisions during the game. In contrast, students with lower anxiety levels demonstrated better playing performance and greater self-confidence. Therefore, it can be concluded that managing competitive anxiety is very important in improving students’ abilities and achievements in rounders games at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Budget efficiency policies constrain fiscal space for infrastructure development, while the need for safe roads remains urgent at the village level. This study examines the community-financed repair of the main road in Lemo Baru Hamlet, Kuajang Village, through the concepts of ta'awun, social capital, and maqashid al-shariah. A descriptive qualitative case-study design was employed. Data were obtained from field observation, an interview with the committee chair, licensing documents, the committee's accountability report, work-group records, and media coverage. The data were analyzed through condensation, display, and verification, supported by source triangulation. The initiative received formal approval from the subdistrict government, mobilized voluntary household contributions and public donations, and organized residents into eight rotating work groups. Total receipts reached IDR 112,500,000; expenditures amounted to IDR 109,140,000; and the remaining IDR 3,360,000 was reserved for maintenance. The work treated 330 meters of road. The initiative represents organized ta'awun, trust and reciprocity as social capital, and public benefit, particularly the protection of life and property. Community self-help did not replace the government's obligation; rather, it demonstrated state-community collaboration in addressing public needs under fiscal constraints.
