Abstract

This study aims to determine the priority of SME development strategies in Candipuro Subdistrict, South Lampung, by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as a multi-criteria decision-making approach. This study fills the gap in previous studies, which generally only assessed single factors and did not comprehensively integrate capital, marketing, human resources, and technology at the subdistrict level. Data were obtained through expert assessment and analysed using a pairwise comparison matrix. The results showed that capital was the most important criterion in SME development, followed by marketing, human resources, and technology. The strategy of increasing access to capital is considered the top priority alternative, followed by strengthening digital marketing and increasing human resource capacity. All calculations meet the consistency ratio value (CR < 0.1), so the results are considered valid. This emphasises the need for policies to strengthen access to funding and digitalisation of MSMEs as the main focus in local economic development.

Abstract

Sertifikasi halal di indonesia menjadi isu strategis seiring diberlakukannya kewajiban sertifikasi halal bagi produk yang beredar di masyarakat. Hal ini menuntut kesiapan pelaku UMKM, termasuk yang berada di kecamatan campalagian, dalam memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana pemahaman dan kesiapan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) dalam menghadapi penerapan sertifikasi halal sebagai bagian dari ketentuan yang berlaku secara nasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data di peroleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap pelaku UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman dan kesiapan pelaku UMKM di kecamatan campalagian dalam menghadapi sertifikasi halal sudah berada pada kategori cukup siap, namun pelaksanaannya masih belum maksimal. Beberapa kendala yang ditemukan antara lain keterbatasan pemahaman mengenai prosedur sertifikasi halal, persepsi bahwa proses sertifikasi halal rumit, rendahnya kemampuan dalam pengelolaan administrasi, serta kecenderungan  pelaku usaha yang lain lebih fokus pada aktivitas produksi dan penjualan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran pemerintah dan pihak terkait dalam memberikan dukungan yang lebih optimal kepada pelaku UMKM melalui peningkatan sosialiasasi, edukasi, penyederhanaan prosedur, serta pendampingan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan karena hanya dilakukan pada UMKM di kecamatan campalagian dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sehingga hasilnya belum dapat digeneralisasikan pada seluruh UMKM di daerah lain. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan memperluas cakupan wilayah penelitian untuk memperoleh hasil lebih komprehesif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and minimum wage on labor absorption in South Sulawesi Province. Labor absorption is used as the dependent variable and is measured by the number of employed people, while inflation, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and minimum wage are used as independent variables measured by the annual inflation rate, constant price regional output, and the applicable minimum wage in each region. The population of this study consists of secondary data related to these variables in Makassar City, Palopo City, Bone Regency, and Parepare City during the 2015–2024 period. The data were obtained from official publications of Statistics Indonesia and the Department of Manpower of South Sulawesi Province. The sample was selected purposively because these regions represent major economic centers in the provincial economic system and provide complete and consistent data. Panel data regression analysis was employed to examine the relationship between variables. The results show that inflation does not have a significant partial effect on labor absorption, while Gross Regional Domestic Product and minimum wage have a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly influence labor absorption, indicating that regional economic growth and wage policies play an important role in increasing employment opportunities in South Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and reconstruct food waste behavior in the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) based on the Islamic concept of israf. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach at MTs Fathul Amin Matakali. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that food waste still occurs due to excessive food portions, student preferences for food, and low awareness of finishing food. From an israf perspective, this behavior is considered excessive, which is prohibited in Islam. Therefore, this study proposes reconstruction through Islamic-based consumption education, portion adjustments, and improvements to the food distribution system. This reconstruction is expected to reduce food waste and shape more responsible consumption behavior. Keywords :Food Waste, Israf, Free Nutritious Meal Program

Abstract

Character education is an essential pillar in addressing the challenges of moral decline in the Society 5.0 era. This study aims to measure and describe the implementation of character education through Physical Education, Sports, and Health lessons among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 15 Banda Aceh. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey method involving 30 students as the total population (total sampling). Data collection was conducted via a closed-ended questionnaire consisting of 32 items, which had been validated for validity and reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha 0.913), and was reinforced through source triangulation using evaluations by the PJOK teacher. Analysis results indicate that the overall level of character implementation among students falls into the Very Good category, with a percentage of 73%. Specifically, the religious factor achieved the highest score, with all students in the Very Good category, followed by the discipline and orderliness factor at 93%. However, the healthy lifestyle factor and the creative dimension still show a distribution in the Fair category (17%), requiring more intensive guidance. The study concluded that physical activity in Physical Education is effective as a behavioral laboratory for the development of student character, although it requires synergy between schools and facilities to optimize the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of AI-based Grammarly in improving English grammar learning among higher education students. A quantitative quasi-experimental design was employed involving two groups of undergraduate students: semester 3 students (n = 24) and semester 5 students (n = 28). Both groups were given a grammar pre-test, followed by instructional treatment using Grammarly, and a post-test after the intervention. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-tests. The results indicate that Grammarly significantly improved students’ grammar performance in both groups. These findings suggest that AI-based writing tools can be an effective supplementary resource for grammar learning in higher education. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji revitalisasi maharah kalam (keterampilan berbicara) siswa melalui Immersive Language Environment dalam konteks pesantren. Penelitian dilaksanakan di asrama MAN 2 Tanah Datar dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan fokus pada praktik dan interaksi bahasa sehari-hari siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan lingkungan bahasa imersif memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa, khususnya dalam aspek kelancaran, kepercayaan diri, dan ketepatan komunikatif. Siswa secara bertahap beralih dari praktik campur kode menuju penggunaan bahasa Arab yang lebih terstruktur dan sesuai konteks. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung utama, seperti interaksi antarteman, penerapan kebijakan bahasa, serta paparan berkelanjutan terhadap bahasa target, serta faktor-faktor penghambat seperti keterbatasan kosakata, ketidakkonsistenan penggunaan bahasa, dan interferensi bahasa pertama.Selain itu, temuan penelitian ini mendukung perspektif teoretis Stephen Krashen tentang comprehensible input dan Lev Vygotsky tentang interaksi sosial dalam pemerolehan bahasa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lingkungan bahasa yang imersif dan naturalistik berperan penting dalam merevitalisasi keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penyediaan pengalaman komunikatif yang autentik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab, khususnya dalam perancangan lingkungan bahasa yang efektif di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of increasing interest among Generation Z in gym activities as part of modern healthy lifestyle trends. The main problem in this study is to identify the factors that motivate Generation Z to perform gym exercises and to determine which factor is the most dominant at Arena Fitness Banda Aceh. The objective of this research is to describe and analyze the levels of health, physical appearance, social, and lifestyle motivations in this group. This study utilizes a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents from Generation Z selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaire instruments using a Likert scale, observations, and structured interviews. The data analysis technique employed was descriptive statistics including percentages and means. The research results based on questionnaire data show that health motivation is the most dominant factor with a percentage of 94.29% (very good category). Lifestyle motivation is also at a very strong level with a dominance in the very good category at 86.70%, followed by physical appearance motivation which reached 83.30% in the very good category. Meanwhile, social motivation has the lowest influence compared to other factors. The conclusion of this study is that Generation Z motivation for gym exercise is driven more by intrinsic factors, namely health awareness and lifestyle habituation, compared to extrinsic factors.

Abstract

Pencak silat requires not only technical mastery and good physical condition but also strong mental readiness when athletes face competitions. In competitive situations, athletes often experience psychological pressure that can affect their performance. Two important psychological aspects related to this condition are self-efficacy, which refers to an individual's belief in their own abilities, and competitive anxiety. Athletes with high self-efficacy tend to be more confident, able to maintain concentration, and better prepared to deal with pressure during matches. On the other hand, excessive anxiety can disrupt focus, influence decision making, and reduce athletic performance.This study aims to determine the level of self-efficacy and competitive anxiety among Tapak Suci pencak silat athletes at Fajar Hidayah School in Aceh Besar. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving eight athletes as research subjects selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The results show that athletes’ self-efficacy is influenced by training, competition experience, and support from coaches and family. Athletes with strong self-efficacy tend to be better able to control anxiety during competitions.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has driven the transformation of education toward digital learning. Digital education offers various advantages, including flexibility in learning time and place, wider access to educational resources, and enhanced interaction through digital platforms. However, the implementation of digital education also presents challenges related to service quality, learning effectiveness, human resource readiness, and technological infrastructure. Therefore, evaluation and quality assurance play a crucial role in ensuring that digital education is implemented in accordance with established standards. Evaluation in digital education is conducted to measure the effectiveness of learning processes, the achievement of educational objectives, and the satisfaction of learners and stakeholders. Meanwhile, quality assurance in digital education refers to a systematic process aimed at maintaining and continuously improving educational quality through planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Effective evaluation and quality assurance enable educational institutions to enhance the quality of digital learning services, optimize the use of technology, and produce graduates who are competent and well-prepared to face the challenges of the digital era.
