Abstract

This research discusses complex problems in child development psychology, especially those experienced in the family environment. Difficulty in educating children who do not meet expectations can hinder growth and development according to their age. The family environment has a crucial role as a good educator, meeting standards as a necessity for parents. Failure in this case has a serious impact on the psychology of child development, because of the close relationship between parents and children to support their future. The importance of the family environment, especially the role of parents, as the first education for child development psychology is the main focus of this research. The child's development process in language, physical-motor and emotional aspects requires critical support from the family environment as capital for the child's future life. Early childhood experiences a vulnerable phase called the Golden Age, where their development experiences a significant spike and does not repeat itself in the following age period. Developmental psychology is defined as qualitative changes in an individual's personality, more than quantitative changes. Child development includes physical, intellectual, social, linguistic, emotional, moral and religious aspects, all of which are integrated into one whole. This research describes the complexity of an individual's life personality development, distinguishing from various main aspects, including physical and motoric, intellectual, social, language, emotional, moral and religious. The findings from this research provide in-depth insight into how the family environment can play a critical role in shaping a child's development, with major implications for that individual's well-being and future.

Abstract

Adult and elderly developmental psychology studies the physical, psychological and social changes that occur in individuals from early adulthood to old age. This research aims to identify the main factors that influence psychological and social development at various phases of adult life, analyze the challenges faced by individuals, and formulate intervention strategies to support their well-being. With a qualitative approach based on literature analysis, this research utilizes developmental theories such as Erikson, Santrock, and Goleman to understand individual psychosocial and emotional dynamics. The results show that fulfillment of developmental tasks, such as economic independence and social involvement, is positively correlated with psychological well-being. Conversely, failure to fulfill these duties increases the risk of psychological disorders, such as depression and anxiety. This research suggests the importance of community and policy-based interventions to improve the quality of life of individuals across different phases of adulthood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan bimbingan dan konseling dengan teknik self-control dalam mengatasi kecanduan game online pada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. Peneliti ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu guru BK, wali kelas, dan 3 siswa laki-laki yang mengalami kecanduan game online. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabasahan data pada penelitian ini dengan teknik triangulasi sumber. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan guru BK yaitu memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa yang mengalami kecanduan game online dengan melakukan pengontrolan serta pengawasan terhadap perkembangan diri siswa. Serta menerapkan teknik self-control yang meliputi kontrol perilaku, kontrol kognitif, dan kontrol pengambilan keputusan. Faktor pendukung guru BK yaitu orang tua, wali kalas, dan guru BK. Faktor penghambat guru BK yaitu adanya peraturan baru yang mengizinkan siswa untuk membawa handphone ke sekolah dan kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan sekitar. Kata kunci: bimbingan dan konseling, teknik self-control, kecanduan game online

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran lembaga sosial dan kesehatan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan manusia lanjut usia (manula). Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur sistematis (SLR), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi lansia, seperti keterbatasan ekonomi, stigma sosial, serta keterbatasan akses ke layanan kesehatan dan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga sosial berperan penting dalam memberikan dukungan sosial dan psikologis, sementara lembaga kesehatan fokus pada pendekatan holistik untuk pencegahan, pengobatan, dan rehabilitasi. Selain itu, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM) memainkan peran krusial dalam meningkatkan akses layanan kesehatan dan promosi perilaku hidup sehat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika perubahan kepribadian yang terjadi pada masa dewasa akhir, khususnya pada individu yang berusia 70 tahun. Masa usia lanjut merupakan tahap perkembangan terakhir dalam kehidupan manusia yang ditandai dengan penurunan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terkait objek penelitian. Subjek penelitian berusia 70 tahun yang diharapkan dapat memberikan pandangan yang lebih jelas mengenai perubahan yang terjadi dalam kepribadian mereka. Penelitian ini mengkaji perubahan dalam hubungan sosial, penyesuaian terhadap penurunan fisik, serta bagaimana individu lanjut usia menanggapi tantangan hidup yang dihadapi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai dinamika perubahan kepribadian pada usia lanjut, serta implikasinya terhadap kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan individu. Temuan ini juga dapat menjadi dasar pengetahuan untuk pengembangan intervensi yang mendukung kualitas hidup pada tahap akhir kehidupan, baik secara psikologis, sosial, emosional, fisik, kognitif, maupun spiritual.

Abstract

This study examines the role of religious moderation as an ethical foundation for economic practices in sustainable community empowerment in Bintang Meriah Village. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory model through the Community Service Program (KKN) of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The values of religious moderation were integrated into various social, economic, and environmental programs, including anti-bullying campaigns, Islamic financial literacy, eco-print training, and the use of papaya leaf extract as an organic pesticide. Religious moderation serves as an ethical basis for fostering tolerance, social responsibility, and economic balance, while eco-theology strengthens ecological awareness and sustainability. The findings indicate an increase in community awareness of the importance of ethical and spiritual values in economic and environmental activities. The synergy between students, the community, and local government created empowerment practices that are not only economically beneficial but also uphold spiritual values and social sustainability.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach. Researchers obtain the required data directly from respondents in the field. The technique used in collecting research data is through interviews. The results of this research will be presented in the form of words that do not use statistical techniques. This research was conducted determine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in develoving positive personalities in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara. Based on the results of the interview, it can be be concluded thet although it is not yet perfect due to inadequate facilities, the role of the BK teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Utara in develoving positive personalities for class VIII students has been carried out well, namely by carrying out character development, making a fixed schedule and collaborating with the school principal, subject teachers. This can be proven by the reduction in class VIII students who violate school rules,

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence provided by group counseling services using Self Instruction to minimize the level of learning boredom of XI MIPA 3 students at MAN 3 Medan. This research method uses an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. Where there were 32 students as the population and a sample of 7 students who had high learning boredom scores was taken using the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used are the Normality Test and the T Test (paired sample test). With the help of the SPSS Version 22.0 For Windows analysis tool. Based on the research results before and after the treatment, the Sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) is 0.000, then < 0.05 H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of this study showed that there was a decrease in the level of student learning boredom after being given group counseling services using the Self Instruction technique as treatment for students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika sejarah sosial pendidikan Islam di Indonesia pascakemerdekaan yang berakar pada dikotomi pendidikan warisan kolonial antara pendidikan umum sekuler dan pendidikan agama tradisional yang terpisah. Dikotomi ini menimbulkan kesenjangan struktural sekaligus mendorong kebutuhan akan integrasi pendidikan agama ke dalam sistem pendidikan nasional negara bangsa yang baru merdeka. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis peran dan perkembangan tiga entitas utama, yaitu Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), madrasah, dan sekolah Islam, sebagai respons institusional, integratif, dan ideologis terhadap problematika tersebut, serta kontribusinya dalam pembentukan identitas bangsa dan sistem pendidikan nasional yang utuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan historis-deskriptif untuk merekonstruksi perkembangan ketiga entitas tersebut secara kronologis dan menganalisis dampak sosialnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumen dan literatur, meliputi regulasi pemerintah seperti PP No. 1/S.D./1946 dan SKB 3 Menteri 1974, arsip sejarah, pidato, serta karya ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kemenag, yang berdiri pada 3 Januari 1946, berperan sebagai solusi institusional dengan memusatkan pengelolaan urusan agama dan pendidikan, sehingga mengakhiri fragmentasi pengelolaan warisan kolonial. Madrasah mengalami transformasi dari lembaga marginal menjadi bagian integral Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, terutama setelah SKB 3 Menteri 1974, dan berfungsi sebagai solusi integratif melalui penggabungan kurikulum agama dan umum. Sementara itu, sekolah Islam modern muncul sebagai solusi ideologis dalam menghadapi globalisasi dengan menekankan sintesis iptek dan imtaq serta pembentukan karakter religius. Ketiganya membentuk satu narasi besar yang berhasil mengakhiri dikotomi pendidikan kolonial dan meneguhkan identitas Indonesia sebagai negara berlandaskan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa.

Abstract

The phenomenon of moral degradation and the increase in negative activities among children during the crucial hours between dusk and evening have become serious challenges for the community in Ujung Negeri Kahan Village. This community service research aims to evaluate and optimize the role of the "Maghrib Mengaji" program as a preventive instrument to shield children from unhealthy environmental influences and gadget dependency. The method employed in this service is participatory mentoring using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, involving religious leaders, parents, and village officials. Through the restructuring of activities in mosques and prayer rooms, this program focuses not only on Qur'anic literacy but also on the cultivation of noble character (akhlakul karimah). The results indicate a significant transformation in behavior; children who previously engaged in counterproductive outdoor activities are now more focused on positive spiritual and social endeavors. The success of the program is indicated by a decrease in the intensity of nighttime wandering and an increase in learning discipline. The conclusion of this activity confirms that community synergy through structured religious programs is effective in reducing the potential for juvenile delinquency and strengthening the moral resilience of the younger generation at the rural level.
