Abstract

The Qur'an provides a very strong motivational basis for education. The verses regarding the command to read (sura al-Alaq verses 1-5), think (sura az-Zumar verse 9), and seek knowledge (sura at-taubah verse 122) contain encouragement that awakens enthusiasm for learning. Apart from that, Allah's promise to raise the status of those with knowledge (Al-Quran surah al-Mujadilah verse 11) becomes a religious stimulus that strengthens students' motivation. The Al-Qur'an also presents the targhib (promise of reward) method (Al-Quran Surah Fatir verses 29-30) and tarhib (warning of punishment) as a balanced motivational approach, so that students are not only driven by the hope for goodness, but also by awareness of the consequences if they neglect to seek knowledge. The hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam complements the Qur'anic motivation by emphasizing the obligation to seek knowledge, the primacy of ulama, and the encouragement to continue learning throughout life. These hadiths clearly demonstrate that Islam places education as a highly valued form of worship in the sight of Allah. The Prophet's motivational messages also emphasize that knowledge is light, while ignorance is darkness, making the pursuit of knowledge a path to enlightenment. The exemplary behavior of the Prophet and his companions also serves as practical motivation for students to embrace knowledge as a way of life.

Abstract

Learning strategies are plans that encompass a series of activities, methods, and the utilization of resources to achieve educational objectives. In formal education, teachers act as administrators who must be capable of organizing educational programs optimally. Therefore, teachers need to possess engaging and enjoyable learning strategies to enhance students’ learning motivation. In the subject of Aqidah Akhlak, learning does not only focus on cognitive aspects but also emphasizes the practice of moral values in daily life. Consequently, teachers must serve as good role models both inside and outside the school environment. This study aims to identify the learning motivation of ninth-grade students in the Aqidah Akhlak subject, examine the planning and implementation of teachers’ strategies in enhancing such motivation, and analyze the obstacles faced by teachers at MAN 3 Aceh Besar. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that teachers’ efforts to improve students’ learning motivation have been fairly successful. Students show increased interest in learning, and teachers believe that positive changes will continue as students become more aware that this learning is beneficial for their personal development.

Abstract

Reform of the Indonesian National Police since its separation from the Indonesian National Armed Forces in 1999 has become a strategic agenda in the consolidation of democracy. Transformation efforts through various programs, from Bureaucratic Reform to the Precision Police vision, aim to build a professional, transparent, and accountable institution. However, public perception of Polri performance remains fluctuating, evident in the paradox between the public’s need for security and increasing criticism related to corruption, discrimination, and human rights violations. This study aims to analyze Polri reform from the public’s perspective, assess the transition from criticism to collaboration, and identify forms of criticism and patterns of collaboration. The method used is a qualitative constructivist paradigm with a literature study approach and secondary data analysis from CSO reports, public opinion surveys, and the media. The findings indicate that digital service innovation is appreciated by the public, but integrity and accountability remain weaknesses, resulting in criticism continuing to emerge as indicators of legitimacy erosion. In conclusion, internalizing procedural justice, building social legitimacy, and consistent dialogic communication are key to transforming criticism into a strategic partnership between Polri and the public.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of the sorong serah aji krame ceremony in Perina Village and to analyze the symbolic meaning of the properties contained in the process of the sorong serah aji krame ceremony in Perina Village. This study used a qualitative approach with an ethnographic study method. The research location is in Perina Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency. Primary data were obtained through non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews with research informants, while secondary data were obtained through books, articles, scientific journals, government institution profiles, and statistical data. Data analysis in this study was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in the sorong serah process there are three stages, namely: 1) preparation of the belongings, 2) preparing the penyorong, and 3) implementation of the sorong serah process or customary session. Furthermore, the symbolic meaning of the traditional properties used was found, including napak lemah, olen-olen, salin dede, pelengkak, otak beli, and pemegat. Suggestions based on the results of this study are: 1) for the village government, especially the village head, to better demonstrate and maintain the sustainability of existing traditional culture, and 2) the people of Perina Village are expected to continue to preserve the existing culture and develop it in their daily lives.

Abstract

Kebugaran jasmani berperan penting dalam menunjang prestasi belajar siswa dan dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas fisik serta status gizi. Aktivitas fisik yang kurang dapat menurunkan daya tahan tubuh, sedangkan gizi kurang maupun gizi lebih dapat memengaruhi tingkat kebugaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan aktivitas fisik dan status gizi dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada siswa SMA Negeri 8 Maros. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional ini melibatkan 80 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Aktivitas fisik diukur menggunakan kuesioner GPAQ (Global Physical Activity Questionnaire), status gizi dinilai berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh/U (IMT/U), dan kebugaran jasmani dengan menggunakan beep test. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dan kebugaran jasmani (p = 0,013; r = 0,277) dengan arah positif lemah. Selain itu, status gizi juga berhubungan signifikan dengan kebugaran jasmani (p = 0,000; r = -0,405) dengan arah negatif sedang. Aktivitas fisik dan status gizi berhubungan dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa SMA Negeri 8 Maros.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi Metode Wafa dalam Program Tahfiż di SDIT Nurul Iman Pondok Bambu dengan suatu usaha atau ikhtiar yang dilakukan oleh SDIT Nurul Iman Pondok Bambu agar mampu tercapai suatu tujuan guna menciptakan generasi insan yang Qur’ani melalui metode tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode kualitatif adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti kondisi objek yang alami. Tujuan utama penelitian kualitatif adalah untuk memahami fenomena atau gejala sosial dengan cara memberikan pemaparan berupa penggambaran yang jelas tentang fenomena atau gejala sosial tersebut dalam bentuk rangkaikan kata yang pada akhirnya akan menghasilkan sebuah teori. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Mile dan Huberman yang dilaukan secara interaktif dan berlangsung secara terus menerus sampai tuntas sehingga datanya penuh
