Abstract

The sport of fencing is centered on skill tactics like cutting, stabbing, or using hand agility to parry an opponent's sword. In fencing, athletes must have strong reflexes and focus in order to both attack and evade attacks from opponents. An LED lamp, a buzzer, and an ultrasonic sensor were used in the tool's design. When the athlete runs toward the sensor—which is identified by a buzzer that sounds and an LED that illuminates—the gadget functions as follows: the athlete waves his hand at the sensor. The distance between the instruments is positioned according to the athlete's needs and skill level. The website that has been developed will show the ultrasonic sensor's detecting findings. The website's architecture allows for multiple tool function configurations, including training mode, tool delay, tool duration, tool detection distance, and indicators of the number of connected sensors. When the tool's durability was tested against distance, it was found to be able to establish a connection between the client and server up to 20 meters away with an average connected time of 27.39. The tool's delay test yields an average of 14.57 seconds. an average of 0.078 when the tool's point inaccuracy is tested.

Abstract

Background: Budidaya bawang merah pada umumnya menggunakan umbi sebagai bibit. Umbi bibit ini memiliki banyak kekurangan sehingga efisiensinya rendah, oleh karena itu perlu digunakan teknologi bibit alternatif. True Shallot Seed merupakan benih yang dihasilkan bawang merah yang mempunyai potensi tinggi untuk digunakan sebagai materi tanam. Namun demikian, teknologi terbebut belum diadopsi petani mitra. Tujuan dari kegiatan adalah: mensosialisasi teknologi TSS dalam buidaya bawang merah, meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi tanaman, serta meningkatkan pendapatan petani melalui peningkatan efisiensi usaha tani. Metode: Petani mitra peserta kegiatan adalah anggota kelompok tani “Cipta Utama” Desa Cendana Kecamatan Kutasari Kabupaten Purbalingga. Metode yang digunakan adalah alih teknologi melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan Peningkatan pengetahuan dievaluasi berdasarkan nilai pretest dan posttest, sedangkan peningkatan ketrampilan dievaluasi dengan mengamati jumlah petani yang mampu menerapkan teknologi. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan petani tentang potensi TSS dalam budidaya bawang merah sebesar 84,07%, serta peningkatan ketrampilan dalam pemanfaatan TSS dalam budidaya bawang merah sebesar 72,75 %. Kesimpulan: Hasil kegitan Sosialisasi pemanfaatan teknologi TSS dalam budidaya bawang merah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the MTsS Ulumul Quran library in supporting the religious moderation program and the strategies used by the MTsS Ulumul Quran library in implementing the religious moderation program among madrasahs. Based on data found in the field, the MTsS Ulumul Quran library together with teachers have made efforts to increase awareness and understanding of students about religious moderation, provide a religious moderation reading corner, and expand access to digital information. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The subject in this study was a librarian who was selected using the purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that the role of the MTsS Ulumul Quran library in implementing the religious moderation as the followings: as the main source of teaching and learning activities, developing reading interests and habits, a strategic place to find information, a place to establish communication between users, as an agent of change, builder, and preservation of culture, and the level of community progress. This study also revealed several obstacles faced by the library, namely limited collections, difficulty in attracting students' interest in reading, and lack of discussion space in the library. The implementation of the "Rakan Lima" strategy with a focus on increasing understanding of religious moderation and providing a special reading corner for religious moderation shows the library's commitment to building a tolerant, peaceful, and culturally diverse madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran perpustakaan MTsS Ulumul Quran dalam mendukung program moderasi beragama serta strategi yang dilakukan perpustakaan MTsS Ulumul Quran dalam mengimplementasikan program moderasi beragama di kalangan madrasah. Berdasarkan data yang ditemukan di lapangan, perpustakaan MTsS Ulumul Quran bersama dengan guru telah berupaya dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman santri tentang moderasi beragama, menyediakan pojok baca moderasi beragama, dan memperluas akses informasi digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 1 orang pustakawan yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan telah berperan dalam mendukung program moderasi beragama dengan menjadikan perpustakaannya sebagai sumber utama kegiatan belajar mengajar , pengembangan minat dan kebiasaan membaca terkait, tempat strategis dalam mencari informasi, wadah menjalin komunikasi antar pengguna, sebagai agen perubahan, pembangun, dan pelestarian budaya, dan tingkatan kemajuan masyarakat. Walaupun demikian ,penelitian ini juga mengungkap beberapa kendala yang dihadapi oleh perpustakaan yaitu keterbatasan koleksi, sulitnya menarik minat baca santri, dan kurangnya ruang diskusi di perpustakaan. Penerapan strategi “Rakan Lima” dengan fokus pada peningkatan pemahaman moderasi beragama dan penyediaan pojok baca khusus moderasi beragama menunjukkan komitmen perpustakaan dalam membangun madrasah yang toleran, damai, dan menghargai keragaman budaya.

Abstract

This article discusses students' information literacy at the MTsN 4 Banda Aceh library using Empowering 8 model. This model uses a problem-solving approach to resource-based learning. Information literacy skills include identifying, and exploring appropriate sources and information on a topic, selecting and recording relevant information, collecting appropriate quotations, organizing, creating, presenting, assessing, and implementing. The purpose of this study is to determine students' information literacy in the library of MTsN 4 Banda Aceh by using the Empowering 8 model. Data collection techniques used are interview, documentation and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that student's level of information literacy is classified as good. Both include identification, organizational selection, creating literacy, presentation, assessment and aspects of the application of information literacy. However, the most dominant level of student information literacy in the library of MTsN 4 Banda Aceh is in the organizational and assessment aspects, with 62.28% of students saying “yes” and 37.71% saying “no". While the lowest level of information literacy was in the information selection aspect, 26.27% of students said "yes," and 73.73% said "no”. Improving student information literacy competence can be encouraged by establishing centralized policies that must be implemented to form innovations carried out by each school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Harga,Kualitas Layanan, Kepercayaan dan Pengalaman terhadap Keputusan Pemakaian Pengiriman di PT. SILKargo Indonsia Cabang Batam. Dengan menggunakan studi populasi atau studi sensus sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 50 responden dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Data yang di peroleh dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Analisis yang digunakan menggunakan uji F simultan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang di lakukan dalam uji F silmutan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan dalam uji F (Silmutan) menunjukan nilai F hitung sebesar (8,829) > F tabel (2.579) dan nilai signifikan sebesar (0,000) < 0,05 sehingga keputusan yang di ambil adalah Ho di tolak dan Ha di terima. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa variabel harga, kualitas layanan,kepercaan dan pengalaman pelanggan terhadap keputusan pemakaian jasa pengiriman di PT. Silkargo Indonesia Cabang Batam.

Abstract

The Gayo ethnic has diverse and unique customs compared to their family ethics in Aceh, one of which is its indigenous marriage pattern, procession, stage, and philosophy in that tradition. This study is qualitative research using an anthropological approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation and observation studies. The results of the study show that there have been changes in Gayo society which have resulted in different traditions and rituals and have adapted very much to the present. The community now tends to adapt the series of processions and phases of marriage traditions as to fit their socio-cultural atmosphere today which is now part of Gayo ethnic life atmosphere. This has brought value shift and change when explored from all aspects of its implementation. As a result, the philosophies of the indigenous marriage pattern and its series of sacred and ritual processions in every phase which was full of valuable messages and meanings including some traditional authoritative actors that are involved within become faded, forgotten, and even eliminated. The poor knowledge of the young Gayo people about their traditional values as their ancestor's cultural heritage shifted their attitudes and mindsets.  The findings show that the direction of various changes within a series of Gayo marriage processions and phases pivots and leads to the concept of modern and global culture as the results of the changing of attitude, mindset and willingness to change within the community, cultural acculturation, the crisis of tradition information sources as due to the retreat of traditional leaders who played role in transmitting their culture and tradition; and the emergence of various channel and agents of changes such as the government and religious institutions, the rising level of education, people mobility, assimilation through mixed marriages, tourist destinations and mass media and new technologies as parts of agents of changes.

Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence of the determinants of education level, health level, economic infrastructure, social infrastructure, and employment on the economic growth rate of West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) from 2019 to 2022. Data sources were obtained from secondary data, consisting of macroeconomic variable data for NTB accessed through the BPS website. The data analysis method used was quantitative analysis, employing statistical tests using EViews. The results of the study indicate that education level and employment level have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of NTB Province, with probabilities of 0.000 (less than 0.05) and 0.0009 (also less than 0.05) for the employment variable. Meanwhile, the health level, economic infrastructure, and social infrastructure have a positive but not significant effect.

Abstract

Integration of knowledge is an interesting phenomenon that has emerged amidst the rapid changes in Islamic religious higher education institutions in Indonesia, which have changed from a State Islamic Religious Institution to a State Islamic University (Universitas Islam Negeri/UIN). The implementation of the integration of knowledge at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya refers to the integrated twin-tower model. This study aims to describe the integration of knowledge based on outputs with the integrated twin tower paradigm in journal review lectures. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with the research location of the Science Education Study Program, FTK UINSA, in journal review lectures running in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Data was collected using documentation, field notes, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out using data triangulation techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study results showed that lecture planning was carried out well in the semester learning design. Integrating knowledge based on outputs with the integrated twin tower paradigm in journal review lectures went well according to the achievement objectives in the semester learning plan and produced outputs in draft articles. The student’s response to the lectures was positive, resulting in accurate understanding from the students regarding the topics of scientific articles and journals. The lectures had some obstacles but also produced many benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential of regional tax revenue in increasing Regional Original Revenue (PAD) in East Lombok Regency in 2019-2023. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The data analysis technique in this study is the analysis of regional tax revenue reports using the Klassen Typology method. The results of the study show that by using the Klassen Typology method, the types of taxes that are included in the Prima/Superior sector are Hotel, Restaurant, Billboard, Street Lighting, Non-Metallic Minerals and Rocks, and Land and Building Rights Acquisition Duty Tax. The types of taxes that are included in the Developing sector are Entertainment, Parking, and Groundwater Tax. The type of tax that is included in the Potential sector is the Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax. Then the type of tax that is included in the Underdeveloped sector is the Swallow's Nest Tax. In the future, the Regional Government of East Lombok Regency is expected to carry out a policy of intensification and extension of the existing regional tax potential to optimize the increase in the tax realization rate, so that the tax revenue figure is in accordance with the potential that should be generated and regional taxes can make a large contribution to the Regional Original Revenue.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan suatu gejala peningkatan tekanan darah yang dapat menyebabkan stroke dan komplikasi lainnya. Hipertensi dapat disebut sebagai silent killer karena seringkali tidak menunjukkan gejala. Ada 2 pengobatan yang dapat dilakukan yakni farmakologi dan non farmakologi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membandingkan efektifitas rendam kaki air hangat dan air jahe hangat terhadap hipertensi pada lansia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental dengan menggunakan pendekatan Pre Post Test Design . Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 21 responden dengan hipertensi, sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 responden dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen penelitian dengan menggunakan Standar Operational Prosedur (SOP) rendam kaki air hangat, air jahe hangat, spigmamometer, stetoskop, lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon dan Uji Mann Whitney. Hasil uji statistik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test rendam kaki air hangat p value = 0,008 < 0,05 artinya ada pengaruh rendam kaki air hangat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia. Hasil uji statistik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test rendam kaki air hangat p value = 0,002< 0,05 artinya ada pengaruh rendam kaki air jahe hangat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia. Hasil uji mann whitney p value= 0,203 artinya tidak ada perbedaan penurunan tekanan darah diantara kelompok rendam kaki air hangat dan air jahe. Mean rank rendam kaki air hangat 8,95 lebih kecil dari pada mean rank kelompok rendam kaki air jahe hangat 12,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa rendam kaki air jahe hangat lebih efektif daripada rendam kaki air hangat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah.
