Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik kandang ayam terhadap sifat fisika tanah dan pertumbuhan tanaman terong ungu. Penelitian ini mulai pada bulan Juli sampai bulan Oktoer 2021 di Desa Bandar Khalipah, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola 4×4, yaitu 3 taraf perlakuan pemberian pupuk organik (pupuk kandang ayam) dan  tanpa perlakuan pupuk (kontrol). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 12 plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian berbagai dosis pupuk organik kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun tanaman terong ungu. Penambahan bahan organik kandang ayam juga dapat memperbaiki sifat fisika tanah terutama pada variabel pengamatan bobot isi tanah, porositas dan permeabilitas. Kata kunci: Terong Ungu, Pupuk Organik Kandang Ayam, Sifat Fisika Tanah

Abstract

This study investigates the transformative practices of data journalism in Indonesian hyperlocal media post-COVID-19, focusing on Nexteen Media and Tutura.id in Central Sulawesi. Through in-depth interviews with editorial leaders, data journalists, and data visualization staff, this study examines the development of these practices. Findings suggest that both outlets leveraged the pandemic to innovate with data-driven reporting. Nexteen Media developed interactive data visualizations to engage younger audiences, while Tutura.id prioritized verified, narrative data reporting to enhance credibility. Both maintained traditional news values, such as geographic proximity and novelty, to attract audience attention. Despite challenges like limited data access and insufficient technical skills, both outlets remain committed to advancing data journalism. This research fills a gap in the literature on data journalism in Indonesian hyperlocal media. Theoretically, it affirms the relevance of traditional news values in the digital era. Practically, it recommends technical skills training and advocacy for open data access to strengthen credibility and impact in local journalism.

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of factors causing crime in Central Java Province in 2022, with variables including poverty, population density, education, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), unemployment rate, and food and non-food consumption. Crime in this region is a social issue that needs attention, given the impact it has on both the economy and social community. Criminality data in the form of count data is analysed using Poisson and Negative Binomial regression to overcome the problem of overdispersion, which allows the model to more accurately estimate the relationship between variables. The results showed that the Negative Binomial regression model was better than Poisson regression, based on the AIC (Akaike Information Criteria) value. The variables of poverty and education were found to have a significant influence on crime rates, indicating the importance of social and educational policies in reducing crime rates. Meanwhile, the variables of population density, GRDP, unemployment rate, and food consumption showed no significant effect. These findings provide important insights for the government in formulating policies aimed at reducing crime rates and improving social stability in Central Java Province. This research is expected to be the basis for the development of data-based policies to improve the welfare of the community.

Abstract

This study examines decision number 592/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Jmb in a divorce case involving the accumulation of debts and joint property, focusing on the judge's considerations in deciding the case, which covers divorce, and the division of property and debts. It analyzes the legal provisions in decision number 592/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Jmb regarding the accumulation of debts and joint property according to the Civil Code and the Compilation of Islamic Law, as well as the legal consequences arising between the plaintiff and the defendant. This study uses a case study approach with a library research method, utilizing the Supreme Court's decision directory and related legal sources (Compilation of Islamic Law, Marriage Law, Civil Code). The data analysis technique uses analytical descriptive methods, specifically by identifying and classifying legal data, describing the content of Decision Number 592/Pdt.G/2024/Pa.Jmb, and assessing the conformity of the judge's considerations with the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), the Marriage Law, and the Civil Code. The research analysis results indicate that the judge's considerations in deciding case number 592/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Jmb involve several aspects that are juridical, philosophical, and sociological, so that the decision on the cumulative lawsuit of divorce with joint assets and debts is appropriate, from both the Civil Code and KHI perspectives. In addition to dissolving the marital relationship, the decision proportionally divides joint assets between the Plaintiff and the Defendant, while the responsibility for Briguna debt is fully imposed on the Defendant.   Keywords: Divorce Filing, Decision, Joint Property, Joint Debt.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of soil tillage systems and NPK fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of sweet corn (Zea mays L.). The study was conducted using a two-factor factorial RAK, namely soil tillage (no tillage, minimum, and maximum) and NPK doses (0, 60, 90, and 120 g/plot). The results showed that the maximum soil preparation treatment (O3) and NPK fertilizer rate of 120 g/plot (P3) generally yielded the best results. However, the combination of O1P2 (no soil preparation + 90 g of fertilizer) also showed high yields on certain parameters, indicating the potential for fertilizer efficiency without the need for intensive soil preparation. This study underscores the importance of combining appropriate land management and fertilization practices to sustainably enhance sweet corn productivity. Keywords: sweet corn, soil tillage system, NPK fertilizer, growth, yield

Abstract

The Lontong Kupang Isbat Nikah program is a collaborative service between the Surabaya City Government, the Religious Court, and the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) to assist couples who are married religiously but not yet legally registered. This study aims to explore the critical views of KUA heads in the five regions with the highest number of participants regarding the program's implementation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations. The results indicate that although the program provides a short-term administrative solution, most KUA heads are concerned about its long-term impact. They believe that the program's routine implementation could normalize the practice of unregistered marriages and undermine public awareness of the importance of officially registering marriages from the outset. Criticisms also focused on the weak verification system and the potential for procedural abuse. It was recommended that the program not be implemented annually, but rather only under certain circumstances with strict requirements. Several KUA heads even suggested a comprehensive reevaluation of the program, considering the possibility of its termination. In conclusion, despite its administrative benefits, the program needs to be reviewed to ensure it does not conflict with legal principles and the community's moral education.

Abstract

Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is a vegetable crop cultivated for its fruit, which is used as a food ingredient, either consumed fresh or processed into various dishes due to its pleasant taste. The decline in purple eggplant production can be caused by several factors, including poor soil fertility, inadequate cultivation practices, and improper fertilizer use. This study aims to analyze the effect of compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer on the growth and yield of purple eggplant, as well as the interaction between the two types of fertilizers. The research was conducted at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembinaan Masyarakat Indonesia, using a factorial randomized block design (RBD). The factors tested were compost doses (0, 1, 2, and 3 kg/plot) and NPK 16:16:16 doses (0, 50, 100, and 150 grams/plot). Eggplant growth data were measured at 14, 21, and 28 days after planting and analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed that the best fertilizer treatment for eggplant growth was the combination of 3 kg compost/plot and 150 g NPK/plot, which resulted in a plant height of 70.3 cm. This indicates that the combination of both fertilizers significantly improved plant growth compared to other treatments. Keywords: eggplant, compos, NPK fertilizer

Abstract

Jagung (Zea mays L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas pangan utama di Indonesia yang memerlukan pengelolaan budidaya optimal untuk meningkatkan produktivitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh jarak tanam dan varietas serta interaksi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung, meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah baris per tongkol, jumlah tongkol per tanaman, dan berat tongkol. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2024 di lahan pertanian agro Universitas Pembinaan Masyarakat Indonesia (UPMI) menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor, yaitu jarak tanam (J1 = 40×25 cm, J2 = 50×25 cm, J3 = 60×25 cm) dan varietas (V1 = BISI 18, V2 = BONANJA F1, V3 = GULAKU), menghasilkan sembilan kombinasi perlakuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa baik jarak tanam maupun varietas memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil. Jarak tanam 60×25 cm (J3) menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik, sedangkan varietas BONANJA F1 (V2) menunjukkan performa superior dibandingkan varietas lainnya. Interaksi antara kedua faktor juga menunjukkan pengaruh sangat nyata, terutama pada kombinasi J3V2 yang memberikan hasil paling optimal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan jarak tanam 60×25 cm dengan varietas BONANJA F1 sebagai strategi budidaya yang efektif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas jagung di lahan pertanian.

Abstract

Indonesia is the fourth-highest country with a level of population density that will undoubtedly cause many problems, one of which is the problem related to unemployment that is increasingly increasing. Therefore, the Government then took the initiative to issue a law that can pioneer job creation, ease of effort, investment, and empowerment of small micro-businesses. Focus on the actions of youth in making investments then whether this Job Creation Law also provides adequate protection for entrepreneurs, especially MSME entrepreneurs. MSME entrepreneurs need legal protection because most do not understand the Law in Indonesia and cannot afford to hire legal counsel or lawyers. The protection guaranteed by the Government makes MSME actors immensely helped. This research seeks to examine the application of Job Creation Law to Micro Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). So that it is expected to make a positive contribution in formulating a system of legal protection that is in accordance and sustainable in harmony with the Business, Micro, Small, Medium Law (MSMEs) as well as laws related to investment and the 1945 Constitution as the basis of the Indonesian state, the research will be conducted with field research into locations that the author considers relevant to the issues raised. Such an approach is expected to support the validity of the study results as sound output. Protection for MSMEs along with increasing investment. On the other hand, the Tegal Regency Government has implemented several measures. The Tegal Regency Government is assisted by the DPMPTSP, the Industry and Manpower Service, and the Trade, Cooperatives, and MSMEs Service to help each other provide guidance related to business legality. These agencies also have internal efforts to help each other manage business legality in Tegal Regency. According to Shinta, as the owner of the Bolen Nyempluk business, it is pretty easy, one of which is for PIRT permits for food businesses that can be accessed by the Disperindagkop which collaborates with the DPMPTSP, even for product packaging, recommendations, and provisions are also provided by the Disperindagkop. In providing assistance and legal assistance services, PP No. 7 of 2021 also states that in certain emergency conditions, the Central and Regional Governments must seek MSME recovery by doing several things such as credit restructuring, business reconstruction, financial assistance, and providing services in other forms. In addition, Article 54 of Government Regulation Number 7 of 2021 also mandates that the Central and Regional Governments play an active role in providing protection and security to maintain the competitiveness of MSME products in the domestic market. To increase product competitiveness, the Ministry of Industry and Manpower also includes training and coaching to business actors, and this training activity also involves business actors and prospective business actors. Providing access to this license certainly makes people interested in having their own business because the licensing process is more straightforward, but they still get coaching.

Abstract

Krisis kelebihan kapasitas lembaga pemasyarakatan di Indonesia akibat perkara narkotika menunjukkan kesenjangan fundamental dengan konsep rehabilitasi dalam UU No. 35 Tahun 2009. Di sisi lain, Portugal berhasil menekan populasi penjara secara drastis melalui kebijakan dekriminalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan hukum antara mekanisme Tim Asesmen Terpadu (TAT) di Indonesia dengan Comissões para a Dissuasão da Toxicodependência(CDT) di Portugal, sekaligus mengkaji faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perbedaan efektivitas implementasinya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan hukum normatif, dengan pendekatan perbandingan (comparative approach) dan perundang-undangan (statute approach). Analisis data kualitatif menggunakan Teori Perbandingan Hukum dan Teori Efektivitas Hukum Soerjono Soekanto secara terintegrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TAT Indonesia tidak efektif akibat faktor hukum yang ambigu (dualisme punitif-rehabilitatif) ,dominasi faktor penegak hukum (BNN/Polri), dan output rekomendasi yang tidak mengikat secara hukum. Sebaliknya, CDT Portugal efektif karena substansi hukumnya (UU 30/2000) jelas, desain kelembagaannya (di bawah Kementerian Kesehatan) berorientasi pada kesehatan publik, dan keputusannya bersifat final. Kegagalan Indonesia berakar pada pandangan yang masih melihat penyalahguna sebagai objek hukum, berbeda dengan Portugal yang memandangnya sebagai warga negara dengan hak atas kesehatan.
