Abstract

Curriculum changes have a psychological and physical impact on the Indonesian learning community, especially for teachers in adapting to the challenges of digital technology in their learning which has become an era for students today. The aim of the Community Service (PKM) activity is to assist Purwodadi 4 State Elementary School teachers, Malang City, in developing metaverse-based learning media. The problems faced by partners of SDN Purwodadi 04 Malang are 1). Low knowledge and innovation of teachers in developing digital-based learning media that attracts students' learning interest, 2). Teachers' skills are low in innovating digital learning by integrating local wisdom. The activity methods used to achieve PKM goals include assistance in creating metaverse-based renewable learning media. Results of activities after training and mentoring: 1). Teachers' knowledge is increasing about the nature of the metaverse in learning, 2). Increasing teacher skills in innovating metaverse-based renewable learning by utilizing learning media, suggestions for further service so that the learning media we design is adapted to students' learning needs using the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kekerasan seksual adalah hal mengerikan dan menakutkan yang bisa dialami anak usia sekolah, tanpa memandang jenis kelamin. Angka kejadian kekerasan seksual terhadap anak diketahui semakin meningkat seiring dengan dampak globalisasi. Di Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah terjadi banyak laporan kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak di bawah umur baik di rumah, di masyarakat, dan di lingkungan pendidikan, serta di pendidikan dasar, menengah dan tinggi. Permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kasus pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual juga dijumpai di lingkungan mitra pogram, SDN Plosokerep 02 Blitar. Dengan menggabungkan antara komik dengan Pendidikan Seks terciptalah komik SETION sebagai media penyampaian pendidikan seks kepada anak. Implementasi program SETION dilaksanakan di SDN Plosokerep 2 Blitar tepatnya di kelas V dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 26 siswa. Program ini berlangsung selama kurang lebih tiga bulan mulai dari bulan September sampai dengan November. Dengan menggabungkan antara komik dengan Pendidikan Seks terciptalah komik SETION yang mampu memberikan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa mengenai pengetahuan seks sehingga dapat membentengi diri mereka agar tidak terjerumus kepada hal-hal yang berbau pornografi, pelecehan seksual, bahkan kekerasan seksual.Kata Kunci: Anak Komik, Pendidikan Seks, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Dalam percepatan globalisasi, penting untuk melestarikan kekayaan budaya dan kearifan lokal. Sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam pelestarian kearifan lokal serta agen perubahan yang efektif dalam menanamkan njlai kearifan lokal. Cara yang efektif adalah mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dengan pengetahuan modern ke dalam sistem pendidikan. Langkah inovatif dilakukan dengan mengoptimalkan greenhouse sebagai media pembelajaran menarik dengan menanam tanaman obat keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini agar siswa memperoleh pengetahuan baru  terkait TOGA dan jamu serta mengembangkan keterampilan. Kegiatan ini dapat menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap alam dan lingkungan, serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan. Metode dalam pengabdian ini meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini meliputi kegiatan persiapan, pelaksanaan diantaranya tahap sosialisasi, praktik penanaman toga dan pembuatan jamu, terakhir evaluasi kegiatan. Dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dan inovasi sains, kita dapat menciptakan sistem yang berkelanjutan. Greenhouse yang dikelola dengan baik dapat menjadi sumber tanaman obat. Dengan perencanaan yang matang dan dukungan dari semua pihak, program ini dapat memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of students to understand reading content due to a lack of variety in learning media and approaches. The purpose of this study was to improve reading comprehension skills through the use of comic media based on local wisdom in Malang with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in Indonesian language lessons for fourth-grade elementary school students. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of student learning achievement from 33.33% in the pre-cycle to 62.96% in cycle I, and further increased to 88.89% in cycle II. The implementation of locally-based comic media using the CRT approach has proven effective in enhancing students' ability to comprehend reading content and fostering meaningful connections between students and the contextualized material being studied.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are the ability to generate new, original, and beneficial ideas. This ability is very important for students to face the challenges of the 21st century. However, based on initial observations and classroom experience, it was found that fourth-grade bilingual students at SD Laboratorium Kota Malang still demonstrate a level of creative thinking skills that needs improvement. The main problems lie in students' lack of mastery in the thinking process, students often rush to give answers without conducting in-depth exploration of ideas, a lack of ability to ask challenging (probing) questions, and difficulty in building upon each other's ideas. The material used is plane figures, specifically quadrilaterals. This research is quantitative with the type of research being Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research are fourth-grade bilingual students in the 2024/2025 academic year, even semester. The research instruments include essay tests on creative thinking skills, with an average score of 77.8% obtained in cycle I and 87.5% in cycle II, with a gain score category of 0.44, falling into the medium category. It is concluded that STEAMID media with a STEAM approach can improve the creative thinking skills of SD Laboratorium UM Kota Malang students, which was obtained from observations of students' artwork in building their dream traditional houses to develop creative skills through the aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration.

Abstract

Collaboration skills are a collaborative skill aimed at solving a problem through combining many ideas. Collaboration skills are very important to learn, but in fact, the facts in the field state that there are still problems in this skill, some students are still unable to carry out discussion or collaboration activities well, therefore a media is needed that can be a card game called question and act cards based on the CRT approach or cultural responsiveness. Through the application of question and action cards, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' collaboration skills which is carried out for 2 cycles

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of learning media in the Pancasila Education subject on ethnicity material. Therefore, the researcher created an interactive learning media innovation to improve students' interest and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes by implementing the Smart House media for fourth grade students of SD Laboratorium UM Malang City. In the Smart House media there are materials and various important information about the diversity of ethnicities in Indonesia. The method in this study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were 27 fourth grade students of SD Laboratorium UM. Data collection tools included class observation sheets, interviews, and essay questions about ethnicity which could be used to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes. In cycle I of 27 students, 22 students (81%) achieved learning completion, while 5 students (19%) had not completed it. In cycle II, all 27 fourth grade Bilingual students achieved learning completion with a percentage (100%). So it can be concluded that the use of Smart House media with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade Bilingual students at SD Laboratorium UM Malang City.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of stakeholder satisfaction with the quality of service and education at the Faculty of Education, State University of Malang. The research employs a quantitative analysis method, utilizing a structured questionnaire based on five service quality indicators: Tangible, Responsiveness, Reliability, Empathy, and Assurance. The questionnaire was distributed to stakeholders, including students, lecturers, and staff. The results indicate that the overall level of stakeholder satisfaction is high, with the Assurance indicator scoring the highest at 76.6%, reflecting strong trust in services provided. The lowest score was observed in the Responsiveness indicator at 72.8%, suggesting a need for improvement in addressing stakeholder needs promptly. The study is limited to stakeholders at the Faculty of Education, and the findings may not be generalizable to other faculties or institutions. The findings provide valuable insights for the Faculty of Education to enhance service quality, particularly in responsiveness, to better meet stakeholder expectations. This research contributes to the ongoing efforts to improve educational service quality by providing empirical data on stakeholder satisfaction within a specific academic context.

Abstract

Background: Guru pamong memiliki peran strategis dalam membimbing mahasiswa PPG, namun masih banyak yang menghadapi keterbatasan dalam mengaitkan pembelajaran matematika, khususnya materi bangun datar, dengan konteks budaya lokal. Artikel pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis guru pamong melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan berbasis etnomatematika. Metode: Metode kegiatan meliputi pelatihan, workshop, dan implementasi pembelajaran di kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan kognitif dan reflektif guru pamong. Skor reflektif meningkat antara 80–125%, dan persentase jawaban benar pada posttest mencapai 100% untuk beberapa indikator kunci. Guru pamong juga mampu mengaitkan konsep bangun datar dengan unsur budaya seperti kue tradisional, motif batik, dan arsitektur rumah adat. Kesimpulan: pelatihan berbasis etnomatematika efektif memperkuat kompetensi pedagogis dan kemampuan reflektif guru pamong sekaligus mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan bermakna. Program serupa direkomendasikan untuk diperluas agar dampaknya menjangkau lebih banyak guru di berbagai wilayah.

Abstract

This service aims to increase interest in mathematics by linking traditional games with learning mathematics. The subjects in this service are students in grades 4, 5 and 6 at SDN 1 Kauman for the academic year 2021/2022. This service is collaborative between the service team, class teachers, and school principals. In this service activity using the SP4E method which includes: (1) Socialization and coordination, (2) Material preparation, (3) Training and Exploration, (4) Direction and Guidance, (5) Application, (6) Evaluation and Reflection. Based on the results of the pretest and postest that have been carried out, it shows that there is an increase in math scores in grades 4, 5 and 6, which initially only 8% of students who got math scores above the KKM but after learning using traditional games the percentage of students who got math scores above the KKM increased. that is equal to 71% of students.
