Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are business activities that can be carried out by everyone, as long as that person can manage and develop the business. SMEs also have a role in economic independence, which can later lead to national independence. SMEs in running their business are sure to be pursued is related to income and profits. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the direct effect of length of business and level of education on the income of Furniture SMEs in Menganti, Gresik, and the indirect effect of financial behavior as intervening variables. The study used 155 furniture SMEs in Menganti Gresik with financial behavior as an intervening variable. The exogenous variable uses the length of business and education level, and the endogenous variable is SME income. using Structured Equation Model (SEM). Based on the results of the study, it shows that each variable for its direct effect shows that all variables have an effect on endogenous variables, while for indirect it shows that financial behavior is capable of intervening between business length and income, and education level and income.

Abstract

Abstrak Adanya pandemi Covid 19 membuat guru dan siswa dituntut untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan sistem pembelajaran baru, yakni pembelajaran jarak jauh. Selain itu guru juga dituntut untuk membuat media pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, sehingga dapat diakses siswa secara online. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa media pembelajaran Otomatisasi Tata Kelola Keuangan yang bernama EPCA (Educative Petty Cash Application) Berbasis Website untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan hasil belajar siswa. Di dalam EPCA terdapat menu simulasi kas kecil dimana siswa dapat melakukan praktikum pencatatan kas kecil secara digital di dalamnya. Selain itu juga terdapat menu soal latihan yang di dalamnya terdapat soal-soal pilihan ganda untuk mengasah kemampuan kognitif siswa. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Research and Development Sugiyono yang telah dimodifikasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif presentasi dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini dan pengembangan ini adalah media pembelajaran kas kecil berbasis website bernama EPCA (Educative Petty Cash Application) yang masuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran otomatisasi tata kelola keuangan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan subjek uji coba kelompok kecil serta terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemandirian dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan pada uji coba kelompok besar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi EPCA sebagai media pembelajaran kas kecil layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran otomatisasi tata kelola keuangan.

Abstract

Saat ini teknologi dimanfaatkan oleh Perusahaan sebagai salah satu sarana penunjang kinerja operasional dan kegiatan perkantoran. salah satunya yaitu di bidang kearsipan. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka diperlukan adanya pengembangan lebih lanjut pada sistem kearsipan di perusahaan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang sudah ada dan sedang berkembang saat ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk sistem kearsipan dan Administrasi gaji elektronik berbasis website dinamis yang layak dan efektif untuk digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi Ahli Materi dan Ahli Media serta Pengguna sesuai dengan kebutuhan. produk sistem kearsipan gaji yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi alternatif pilihan bagi perusahaan dalam meminimalisir kesalahan yang terjadi pada proses kearsipan administrasi gaji. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Research and Development Borg and Gall yang telah dimodifikasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dan teknik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan sistem kearsipan dan administrasi gaji elektronik (SIPAMIGA) berbasis website dinamis yang dinyatakan sangat valid, layak dan efektif untuk digunakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media, ahli materi, dan 7 pengguna uji coba kelompok kecil. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa SIPAMIGA layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai sistem kearsipan administrasi gaji.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan ajar di SMK Negeri 2 Blitar yang belum dimanfaatkan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar secara maksimal membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi monoton dan membosankan. Sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik masih sangat bervariasi. Tidak semua hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI-OTKP di SMK Negeri 2 Blitar tersebut memasuki nilai tinggi atau baik apalagi di masa pandemi ini. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar E-modul berbasis Flipbook untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI-OTKP SMK Negeri 2 Blitar. Keunikan dari produk ini adalah terdapat audio penjelasan mengenai point di dalam materi yang dianggap sulit oleh peserta didik. Jenis penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Research and Development Borg and Gall yang telah dimodifikasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari ahli media dan ahli materi sebagai validator ahli, 6 peserta didik kelas XI-OTKP di SMK Negeri 2 Blitar sebagai validator pengguna, serta subjek uji coba kelompok besar. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif dari lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji coba kelompok kecil yang berupa kritik dan saran, selain itu terdapat data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari perhitungan skor dari pada lembar validasi yang yang diberikan kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan kelompok kecil, data kuantitatif juga didapat dari hasil nilai kognitif dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh maka teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data posttest kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dianalisis dengan analisis persentase. Hasil validasi dan uji coba menunjukkan bahwa E-modul berbasis Flipbook telah sesuai dengan peruntukannya, tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, dan dapat digunakan untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran serta mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 100%, hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 93,33%, dan hasil uji coba produk kelompok kecil sebesar 93,33%.

Abstract

Research on the development of Canva-based interactive learning media to improve critical thinking and student learning outcomes in class X MPLB at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari. The purpose of this research and development is to produce Canva-based interactive learning media on the Office Technology Equipment and Applications element called “ILC” (Canva Interactive Learning). The research model (R&D) of the Borg & Gall theory was used in this research and development and was modified into 9 stages. The results and findings of this study stated that the ILC media was valid and suitable for use in the teaching and learning process. During the trial process, researchers received assessments related to interesting and varied designs. The results of the percentage calculation show that there is a difference in the average results in the control class and the experimental class, where the average value of critical thinking and learning outcomes of the experimental class is higher than the control class. The display design and presentation of material on ILC media can be used as learning resources for students in the teaching and learning process Penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis canva untuk meningkatkan berfikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas X MPLB di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari. Tujuan Penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva pada elemen Peralatan dan Aplikasi Teknologi Perkantoran yang bernama “ILC” (Interaktif Learning Canva). Model penelitian (R&D) teori Borg & Gall digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini serta dimodifikasi menjadi 9 tahapan. Hasil dan temuan penelitian ini media ILC dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan pada proses belajar mengajar. Selama proses uji coba, peneliti mendapatkan penilaian terkait dengan desain yang menarik dan bervariasi. Hasil perhitungan persentase menunjukkan ada perbedaan hasil rata-rata pada kelas control dan kelas eksperimen, dimana nilai rata-rata berfikir kritis dan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Tampilan desain serta sajian materi pada media ILC bisa dijadikan sumber belajar untuk peserta didik pada proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Previous literature review studies have explored the implementation of social responsibility in family companies, while literature reviews that focus explicitly on the spirituality of family business in the implementation of social responsibility have not been found. The purpose of this scoping review is to map out studies that assess the spirituality of family business in the implementation of social responsibility. The scoping review of this study follows the five main stages outlined by Arkset and O'Malley (2005). The steps taken are (1) identifying research questions; (2) identify relevant studies; (3) selection of relevant studies; (4) mapping data; (5) Compile, summarize and report the results. The studies reviewed were selected from three electronic databases, namely: Emerald, Springer and Taylor & Francis within a period of 12 years from 2012-2021. The results of the scoping review show that most studies acknowledge that spirituality in family establishments is stronger. Social responsibility decisions and policies are considered as ethical decisions that involve the influence of religion and spirituality as the basis for decision making. The spiritual values that are built in family business can be the basis for the implementation of social responsibility that is oriented to the long-term goal of corporate sustainability. The theoretical implication of this research is to provide additional literature on CSR in family companies in terms of spirituality so that it can be a guide for future research. Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility, Spirituality, Family Business, Scooping Review

Abstract

The growth of industrial revolution 5.0 technology provides opportunities for innovation in technology-based learning models to improve critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research is to improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes at Al-Islahiyah integrated vocational school through the application of the problem-based learning model with the help of Genially media. This research involved classroom action research, which was carried out for two cycles, the research subjects were class of office management automation students. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, tests, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research showed that the application of the problem-based learning model with the help of the media can significantly improve student’s critical thinking skills and learning outcomes, as well as learning activities according to the steps of problem-based Learning. Keywords: Problem-based learning, Genially, Critical thinking, Learning outcomes

Abstract

The need for halal food and beverage products continuously increases in every country, especially in Indonesia. This condition encourages the guarantees for halal products circulating in the market. The study of Etlingera elatior has been widely carried out, reporting its potential to be used as a health drink. However, until now, there have not been many studies examining Etlingera elatior as a halal product. This study aims to make a halal and rich antioxidant drink from Etlingera elatior. This study used experimental research with a completely randomized design (CRD). The treatment given was the long blanching time of Etlingera elatior with the identical formula. The materials used in this study consisted of ingredients for making Etlingera elatior drinks and chemical analysis materials. The data analysis included the assessment of the alcohol content and antioxidant capacity of Etlingera elatior juice. From the analysis of the alcohol content, it was found that the Etlingera elatior beverage had a negative alcohol content but a high antioxidant capacity which was good for health. The results of the ethanol content analysis on the Etlingera elatior juice with different blanching time (one minute, one minute and a half, and two minutes) was negative, with a qualitative orange color. This study shows that the Etlingera elatior juice beverage has met the quality standards for zinc (Zn) thus, it is safe for consumption. Also, based on the DMRT results, each Etlingera elatior juice formula is significantly different from one another. Therefore, the Etlingera elatior juice is a halal beverage, good for human health. The results of this study have implications for related stakeholders to develop halal beverage products made from Etlingera elatior and serve it as a potential culinary product to be marketed.

Abstract

Behavioural aspects in making financial or investment decisions have been inspired by the increasing role of behaviour as determinants of buying and selling securities. This study aims to analyze the effect of loss aversion and mental accounting on investment decisions and the role of self-control as a moderating variable on the effect of loss aversion and mental accounting on investment decisions. The research sample was 137 Small and Medium Footwear Industries in Mojokerto City. The sampling technique was probability sampling. Thus, this research used simple random sampling. The respondents of this research were the owners or managers of Small and Medium Industries (SMIs). The primary data was obtained directly from respondents’ answers to questionnaire statements. The data analysis method was Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that: First, loss aversion and mental accounting have a significant positive effect on investment decisions. Second, self-control is not moderate the effect of loss aversion on investment decisions but moderates the effect of mental accounting on investment decisions. Psychomotor aspects of mental accounting from owners or managers of SMIs is realizing that the existing accounts receivable is the primary source of income for the business.

Abstract

This study investigates how cognitive presence and affective connectedness impact social presence. We employed Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) to analyze the data (N=679). Respondents were gathered from an online survey questionnaire by Indonesian and Malaysia undergraduate students in three universities: Universitas Negeri Medan (n=405), Universitas Negeri Malang (n=215), and Universiti Putra Malaysia (n=59). The result of this study indicates that in terms of the overall sample, cognitive presence and affective connectedness were found to have a positive and significant effect on social presence. If we peel the sample based on three universities, the result is consistent in Universitas Negeri Medan and Universiti Putra Malaysia samples. However, not the case in Universitas Negeri Malang. In this sample, affective connectedness was found to not significantly impact social presence. The findings are discussed in detail related to the key factors of social presence that have unique characteristics from the three campuses. This study suggests that in establishing students’ social presence, the teacher needs to utilize learning that intensifies cognitive presence and affective connectedness in order to foster the social presence.
