Abstract

Indonesia sampai dengan 2022 masih mengkhawatirkan dalam hal minat membaca masyarakatnya. Buku belum ditempatkan sebagai benda penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya minat membaca ialah minimnya ketersediaan media yang menarik. Di era digital ini, dibutuhkan media membaca yang juga digitalize. Sebagai alternatif solusinya, di sejumlah sekolah Kota Bandung tersedia aplikasi perpustakaan digital atau perpustakaan elektronik, salah satunya Smart Library. Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkap pemanfaatan aplikasi tersebut di sekolah Kota Bandung, terutama untuk meningkatkan minat baca guru-gurunya. Dengan mengetahui strategi pemanfaatan aplikasi tersebut, sekolah-sekolah lain bisa menjadikannya sebagai model aplikasi alternatif perpustakaan digital. Metode  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat baca guru di sekolah Kota Bandung yang menggunakan Smart Library. Peningkatan ini dipicu juga oleh pengadaan program literasi sekolah yang memanfaatkan manajemen sistem informasi yang sudah ada pada admin Smart Library. Sejumlah guru yang masih sungkan untuk menggunakan Smart Library terkendala oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internalnya ialah rendahnya kepiawaian guru-guru yang berusia sepuh untuk membaca melalui media gawai. Faktor eksternalnya, mereka merasa tersibukkan oleh aktivitas administrasi kelas sehingga luput untuk membaca. Adanya media membaca tidak serta merta bisa meningkatkan minat membaca tanpa program literasi sekolah yang menarik dan motivasi yang kuat serta pengawasan yang ketat dari manajemen sekolah.

Abstract

Sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kemampuan akademik peserta didik, yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas manajemen kurikulum. Dalam konteks ini, guru tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pelaksana pembelajaran, tetapi juga sebagai aktor kunci dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, implementasi, dan evaluasi kurikulum. Meskipun berbagai studi menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan guru dalam manajemen kurikulum berkontribusi signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik siswa, kajian yang secara sistematis mensintesis bukti empiris mengenai hubungan tersebut masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam manajemen kurikulum serta implikasinya terhadap prestasi akademik siswa melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman PRISMA 2020 dengan penelusuran literatur pada basis data Scopus terhadap artikel yang diterbitkan pada periode 2020–2026. Dari proses seleksi bertahap berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, diperoleh tujuh artikel yang dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam manajemen kurikulum bersifat multidimensional, mencakup keterlibatan dalam perencanaan dan pengorganisasian kurikulum, kompetensi profesional dalam implementasi pembelajaran, serta kemampuan guru dalam menafsirkan kurikulum dan tujuan pembelajaran. Selain itu, efektivitas peran guru sangat dipengaruhi oleh dukungan sistem pendidikan, kepemimpinan sekolah, dan kebijakan kurikulum. Secara konsisten, temuan menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum yang dijalankan secara efektif oleh guru berkontribusi pada peningkatan keterlibatan belajar, motivasi akademik, dan prestasi akademik siswa. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan peran guru dalam manajemen kurikulum sebagai strategi kunci peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah.

Abstract

Digital literacy needs to be done by an educator, because it will make it easier to obtain, understand and disseminate information on the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to find out and explain the managerial strategies carried out by school principals in increasing teacher digital literacy. This study uses a qualitative approach with collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The participants in this study were the principal and teachers of SMP Negeri 4 Sekayam. The data that has been collected is then reduced, data is presented, and conclusions are drawn. This study concludes that the managerial strategy of the principal of SMP Negeri 4 Sekayam in increasing teacher digital literacy is: 1) Doing planning by analyzing needs (looking at the state of teachers in digital use, availability of tools, and also the access needed); 2) Providing the facilities needed to increase digital literacy, such as providing tablets, Chromebooks, and providing internet access in the form of Wifi; 3) Involve teachers in organized training, such as training conducted through digital forums such as Zoom Meetings; 4) Evaluate and make improvements in the future.

Abstract

The Learning Management System (LMS) is an essential system in facilitating learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, this research aims to identify the strategies employed by teachers in utilizing the Moodle-based LMS. The research methodology adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing online interviews with the system administrators and written communication via WhatsApp with subject teachers. Additionally, a content analysis of the system was conducted by examining the utilized applications. The research findings revealed that the school has implemented several strategies for maximizing the utilization of the Learning Management System. These strategies include: 1) mandating teachers to use the LMS, 2) improving the school's server capacity, and 3) providing training sessions to teachers on system usage.

Abstract

In the present time, the development of the education world demands a more multidynamic approach. This means that education requires comprehensive and holistic development. Over time, the development of culture and civilization in the world has brought about changes in all aspects, including social structure, culture, and the education system in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Therefore, in the development of education in pesantren, technological management is needed to align with the current era. This research aims to explore the activities of the information system in a pesantren. Data was obtained through interviews, website documentation, and literature review. The data analysis technique adopted the theory of Miles & Huberman (data reduction, data display, data verification, and conclusion drawing). The results of the research are as follows: 1) The implementation of media team activities as an information system platform; 2) The pesantren information system is based on a website and application. This application consists of teacher attendance and teaching notes. The website and social media used by the pesantren include the pesantren portal website, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram as promotional media to the public. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of the activities runs well.

Abstract

In the digital era marked by rapid technological and educational advancements, the development of teacher professionalism is a crucial aspect in realizing the educational goals of Indonesia. This literature study aims to investigate the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on the development of teacher professionalism. Using a systematic literature review approach, 33 relevant articles from credible databases (Google Scholar, Springer Link, and Science Direct) were analyzed focusing on motivation, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, teacher professionalism, and its development. The findings indicate that both intrinsic motivation, driven by internal desires such as interest, responsibility, and self-improvement, and extrinsic motivation, arising from external factors like rewards, recognition, and organizational support, play significant and complementary roles in fostering teacher professionalism. Intrinsic motivation encourages active engagement, creativity, and sustained commitment, while extrinsic motivation provides structure and reinforcement through training, incentives, and supportive leadership. The synergy between these motivations, supported by a conducive educational environment that fulfills teachers’ needs for autonomy, competence, and social relatedness, optimizes professional growth and positively impacts teaching quality and student outcomes. Therefore, strategies to enhance teacher professionalism should integrate approaches that nurture intrinsic motivation alongside appropriate extrinsic supports.

Abstract

Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) offer a model of education based on Islamic values, integrating the national curriculum with a unique Islamic curriculum that reflects the school's vision and mission of developing a rabbani generation. In practice, they not only provide general knowledge but also instill Islamic values in every subject as part of the holistic and integrated development of students' personalities. Learning methods optimize the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains through their learning methods. However, various challenges arise in its implementation, such as limited teacher numbers due to high teacher mobility, varying teacher abilities, and difficulties in aligning the general curriculum with the school's unique curriculum, specifically the integration of Islamic values in an applicable and contextual manner. These conditions can directly impact the quality of the learning process and outcomes if not managed effectively. Therefore, effective and well-planned learning management is crucial to improving student learning outcomes and optimally achieving the school's educational vision and mission. This study aims to analyze learning management strategies in an effort to develop school quality at Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT).

Abstract

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Center for Curriculum and Learning (Puskurjar), emphasizes the importance of deep learning learning as part of educational transformation to improve the quality of learning. However, until now, the mapping of teacher readiness to implement it and the role of school managerialism, especially in Muhammadiyah schools, which are Islamic-based, remains unknown. This study aims to explore teacher readiness in implementing the deep learning learning approach of managerial studies in Islamic education, examining several key aspects, understanding the role of school management in preparing teachers to implement deep learning learning from knowledge of deep learning learning concepts, skills in designing and implementing lesson plans, attitudes towards policy changes, and the readiness of supporting facilities and infrastructure that are effective and in accordance with Islamic values. The method employed is a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews with Muhammadiyah school supervisors, principals, teachers, and observations of classroom learning implementation, as well as analysis of teaching module documents to obtain a comprehensive picture of teacher readiness and managerial roles. The collected data will be analyzed using the thematic analysis method, with the help of the atlas.TI application.9 The results of the study show that the principal and foundation's management facilitate teachers in preparing the implementation of deep learning learning such as holding training, workshops and the existence of learning communities so that this can influence teachers' understanding of the concept of knowledge about deep learning learning that emphasizes awareness, meaningful and joyful, the accuracy of teachers in choosing strategies in designing teaching modules with learning methods that integrate Islamic and contextual values ​​such as problem-based learning, as well as facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process that honors students by implementing the principle of honoring and activating students in the classroom.

Abstract

Abstract Rendahnya minat baca Al-Qur’an di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar menjadi tantangan serius bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen dan implementasi program literasi Al-Qur’an dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa di SD Muhammadiyah Prambanan, Sleman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, serta studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program literasi Al-Qur’an dilakukan melalui empat tahapan manajemen: (1) Perencanaan yang matang dengan menetapkan target capaian harian; (2) Pengorganisasian melalui pembagian tugas wali kelas dan guru pendamping; (3) Pelaksanaan melalui kegiatan pembiasaan tadarus pagi dan metode klasikal; (4) Pengawasan melalui buku kendali mutaba’ah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat baca siswa yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya frekuensi bacaan harian, antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti jam literasi, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran mandiri untuk membaca Al-Qur’an. Faktor pendukung utama adalah budaya sekolah yang religius dan dukungan sarana prasarana yang memadai. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Program, Literasi Al-Qur’an, Minat Baca, Sekolah Dasar. Implementation of Al-Qur'an Literacy Program in Increasing Students' Reading Interest in Elementary Schools The low interest in reading the Al-Qur'an among elementary school students is a serious challenge for Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to describe the management and implementation of the Al-Qur'an literacy program in increasing students' reading interest at SD Muhammadiyah Prambanan, Sleman. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with principals and teachers, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the Al-Qur'an literacy program was carried out through four management stages: (1) Careful planning by setting daily achievement targets; (2) Organizing through the division of tasks for class teachers and assistant teachers; (3) Implementation through morning tadarus habituation activities and classical methods; (4) Supervision through the mutaba'ah control book. The research findings indicate an increase in students' reading interest characterized by an increase in the frequency of daily reading, student enthusiasm in attending literacy hours, and the growth of independent awareness to read the Al-Qur'an. The main supporting factors are the religious school culture and adequate infrastructure support. Keywords: Program Management, Al-Qur'an Literacy, Reading Interest, Elementary School.

Abstract

Every student should instill the value of discipline. This study aims to describe strategies for fostering discipline among students at the Adiwiyata school, Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Elementary School, using Hitt et al.'s strategic management cycle approach. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research method, supported by ATLAS.ti 9, for data analysis. The data analysis employed Miles, Huberman, and Saldana's model to ensure that the theoretical and practical results of this study could be understood and replicated in other schools to improve environmental discipline. In the results of this study, it was found that five stages are interrelated in a complete strategic management cycle, including: 1) strategy formulation (Strategize) through establishing visionary commitments, identifying challenges and obstacles and ecosystem synergy, 2) planning (Plan) is made structured by optimizing resource governance and policy legality, 3) implementation of the strategy (Act) is realized through habituation, role models, and integration of environmentally conscious learning, 4) supervision (Monitor) is carried out through direct observation of students' daily lives and periodic evaluations, until 5) results (Outcome) are achieved in the form of formal recognition of the predicate of an independent Adiwiyata school at the provincial level, manifestation of changes in student character to become a sustainable school culture.
