Abstract

This research was motivated by the school's situation in developing school resilience by setting the direction of school practice. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the leadership practices of principals in setting the direction extensively to improve school resilience. This study used qualitative research through data collection, such as observation and interview techniques with four informants, and documentation with data analysis techniques employing description, analysis, and interpretation. The findings of this study suggest that by performing the principal leadership role, namely setting the direction, a school could develop resilience adequately.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and explore the experiences of 1st grade elementary school students in using Quizizz as an interactive learning medium. Each student's learning experience can vary based on various factors such as individual preferences, learning methods, and their educational background. Therefore, the focus of this research is to understand more deeply how these students interact with Quizizz, starting from their level of motivation to their experience in practical use of this application as well as seeing how this tool influences their motivation, participation and academic achievement. This type of research is qualitative research with the research method used, namely descriptive. The data collection process is carried out through purposive sampling where the researcher decides to determine the individuals and locations to study and understand the central phenomenon. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Tonggalan Klaten, namely in class 1D with 1 teacher and 10 students. The data collection process was carried out using in-depth structured interviews with class 1D teachers. Next, for 10 students, a focus group discussion (FGD) was carried out which was divided into 2 sessions with each session consisting of 5 students. Using Quizizz as an interactive learning tool for 1st grade elementary school students provides a positive experience and has an impact on their learning motivation. Students enjoy the interactivity, variety of questions, and gaming elements offered by this platform. Positive impacts are also seen in increasing students' active participation, self-confidence and intrinsic motivation. From a teacher's perspective, Quizizz is considered effective in enhancing learning and providing a useful evaluation tool. Therefore, the integration of Quizizz in 1st grade elementary school learning can be considered a positive step to improve the quality of education through the effective use of technology.

Abstract

In the digital era, the leadership of school principals necessitates serious consideration to act as a catalyst for teachers adapting to changes. Principals must be capable of addressing the various challenges of education and transforming problems into opportunities to establish schools, that yield high-quality graduates. They must also generate creative and innovative ideas in their leadership role. There are several leadership styles that principals can adopt in the digital era, including authoritarian, democratic, laissez-faire, transformational, transactional, and authoritarian styles. This research aims to comprehend and describe the various challenges principals face in the digital era. It employed a qualitative descriptive approach and interview methods and was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Special Program Rabbani Karanganom, Klaten, Central Java. Interviews were conducted with the principal, ICT teachers, and a driving teacher. The research concludes that principals, as leaders, must confront various challenges in democratic and styles being the most dominant, in the digital era should provide comfort, with the democratic and transformational styles being the most dominant.  Digital leaders in schools should embody four main characteristics: problem-solving, collaboration, a love for learning, and a student-focused approach.

Abstract

Implementation of technology-based education financial management in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia can provide an effective solution for managing funds. however, the lack of education financial management is reflected in the use of applications that are not yet optimal, which results in the data collection, processing and data search processes being less efficient. this research aims not only to determine the capacity of Islamic boarding schools in Klaten in facing changes in digital-based education financial management, but also to describe and analyze digital-based education financial management at Islamic boarding schools in Klaten. the research method used is descriptive qualitative research. the results of this research show that Islamic boarding schools in Klaten have implemented digital-based education financial management with the syahriah application. the process involves planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. the benefits of digital-based payments provide convenience for guardians of santri, including payment of tuition fees, top-ups, and monitoring of arrears. for treasurers/staff, using this application helps in checking, minimizing errors, providing payment notifications, and increasing the efficiency of financial reports. even though there are obstacles such as not understanding its use, outreach to student guardians and a quick response from BSI is a solution to these technical obstacles. the conclusion from this research is that the Islamic boarding school in Klaten has succeeded in implementing digital-based financial management providing significant benefits for student guardians and the treasurer/staff. even though there are technical obstacles, the solution presented is quite suitable.

Abstract

In the field of education, social media has a contribution to improving school branding. SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bandung city took advantage of this opportunity as a means of promoting the school to make it better known to the wider community. The aim of this research is to determine the use of school websites and Instagram as promotional tools to improve school branding. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. he instruments used in this research were the principal, deputy principal for Student Affairs, deputy principal for Public Relations, website and Instagram admin. The results of this research are that schools utilize social media, especially websites and Instagram, optimally with comprehensive management; consist of good planning, clear organization, implementation that follows the school's agenda both intra and extra, as well as regular evaluation. The effectiveness of website and Instagram media can be seen from the number of views, likes, comments and additional followers from regular and continuous posts, which also has an impact on the top position in Google searches and the Instagram application. There are several obstacles in optimizing the use of school accounts, but there are future plans to develop and improve these social media accounts for optimal results in promoting school branding

Abstract

This article explores the Management of Merdeka Curriculum Digitalization at the Junior High School (SMP) level as a response to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The government and educational institutions are challenged to adapt to the new situation, including the development of online learning models. In this context, digital literacy is crucial, involving not only technical skills but also wise attitudes and behaviors towards digital information. The article highlights the importance of digital curriculum management to ensure education in line with the spirit of Merdeka Belajar. Challenges such as limited access to technology, teacher training, and the protection of student data privacy are addressed, with proposed solutions and implementation strategies. School principals and policymakers are expected to lead digital transformation in schools, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among schools, teachers, students, and parents. By understanding Merdeka Curriculum Digitalization Management comprehensively, it is expected to create an educational ecosystem that is adaptive, innovative, and responsive to technological developments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian ada di salah satu SD swasta di Kota Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk dapat mengetahui Peran Guru Kelas dan Orangtua dalam pencegahan Cyberbullying di sekolah dasar. Cyberbullying di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar telah menjadi isu yang semakin meresahkan, memerlukan perhatian serius untuk pencegahan dan penanganan yang efektif. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran penting guru kelas dan orang tua dalam upaya pencegahan cyberbullying di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Guru kelas memegang peran sentral dalam memberikan edukasi kepada siswa mengenai perilaku online yang sehat, etika digital, serta dampak negatif dari cyberbullying. Mereka juga berperan sebagai pengawas aktif di lingkungan sekolah, mengidentifikasi tanda-tanda potensial cyberbullying, dan memberikan sanksi yang sesuai. Di sisi lain, orang tua memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memantau aktivitas online anak-anak, menggunakan alat kontrol parental, dan terlibat langsung dalam kehidupan digital mereka. Dengan membuka saluran komunikasi yang terbuka, orangtua dapat menciptakan lingkungan di mana anak-anak merasa nyaman berbicara tentang pengalaman online mereka. Kerjasama erat antara guru kelas dan orangtua, dengan fokus pada pendidikan, pengawasan, dan dukungan, dianggap sebagai kunci utama dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah dasar yang aman dari ancaman cyberbullying. Studi ini bertujuan memberikan pandangan holistik terhadap peran keduanya dan mendukung implementasi strategi pencegahan yang berkelanjutan di tingkat sekolah dasar

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini membawa perubahan signifikan dalam bidang pendidikan. Peran sistem informasi manajemen menjadi sangat penting dalam menghadapi kemajuan teknologi yang pesat. Bagi sekolah, penting untuk meningkatkan dan mengendalikan perkembangan di era revolusi industri 4.0, sehingga teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh semua pihak. Salah satu strategi yang digunakan adalah pengelolaan informasi melalui sistem informasi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi sistem pengelolaan informasi akademik di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Boja. Metode penelitian kepustakaan digunakan dengan langkah-langkah pencarian topik, pemecahan masalah, dan temuan studi yang relevan untuk menjelaskan dan menghasilkan kesimpulan terhadap topik masalah. Berdasarkan penelusuran literatur, ditemukan bahwa sistem informasi akademik memiliki dampak positif bagi kepala sekolah, guru, pengelola sistem, siswa, dan orang tua, karena mampu memberikan informasi yang efektif dan dapat direspons. Sistem informasi akademik dapat disesuaikan dan dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing sekolah untuk mendukung kegiatan di dalamnya dimana SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Boja mempunyai layanan kelas khusus olahraga. Strategi sistem informasi akademik dapat mempersiapkan siswa dengan lebih baik menghadapi era digital dan memberi layanan akases pendidikan pada situasi apapun. Implementasi Sistem Informasi Akademik berbasis Aplikasi Google Classroom Pada Kelas Khusus Olahraga Di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Boja Kendal   The development of information technology is currently bringing significant changes in the field of education. The role of management information systems is very important in the face of rapid technological advances. For schools, it is important to improve and control developments in the 4.0 industrial revolution era, so that technology can be put to good use by all parties. One of the strategies used is information management through an academic information system. This study aims to analyze the strategy of the academic information management system at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Boja. The library research method is used with the steps of topic search, problem solving, and relevant study findings to explain and produce conclusions on the topic of the problem. Based on a literature search, it was found that academic information systems have a positive impact on school principals, teachers, system administrators, students and parents, because they are able to provide effective and responsive information. The academic information system can be customized and designed according to the needs of each school to support the activities within it where Boja Muhammadiyah 2 High School has special sports class services. Academic information systems strategies can better prepare students for the digital age and provide educational access services in any situation.

Abstract

Adanya perkembangan teknologi, situasi pandemi, dan juga kebijakan baru di SMK telah membawa transformasi dalam pembelajaran. Program baru dari pemerintah untuk SMK terpilih sebagai Pusat Keunggulan mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran yang lebih efisien dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Segala hal yang berkaitan dengan belajar-mengajar diupayakan untuk di digitalisasikan yang merupakan program wajib di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi digitalisasi pembelajaran dimana siswa menjadi pusat pembelajaran di SMK Pusat Keunggulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif lebih menekankan pada analisis data deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informasi yang diperoleh diolah dan dianalisis melalui beberapa tahapan antara lain reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan digitalisasi pembelajaran di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta sebagai salah satu SMK PK di Yogyakarta tumbuh lebih cepat sejak situasi pandemi. Hal ini juga dilakukan sebagai bagian dari program Pusat Keunggulan di mana sekolah harus meningkatkan alat-alat praktik dan penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajarannya. Tujuan utama yang penting dari digitalisasi pembelajaran adalah memfasilitasi pembelajaran siswa dengan sangat baik sehingga akan mendukung mereka untuk lebih tertarik belajar dan akhirnya mereka mendapatkan hasil belajar yang lebih besar pula. Beberapa kasus yang menjadi realisasi digitalisasi pembelajaran di sekolah, yaitu media pembelajaran, perangkat pembelajaran, dan metode pembelajaran.

Abstract

Dalam tulisan ini, gagasan tentang sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan dan bagaimana hubungannya dengan transformasi digital akan dibahas. Sangat penting bagi institusi pendidikan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM). Penting untuk dilaksanakan sejauh menyangkut kebutuhan administrasi dan permintaan kebutuhan masyarakat, kerangka data administrasi memberikan data yang tepat dan ideal yang diharapkan dapat bekerja dengan arah dan pemikiran kritis yang memberdayakan pelaksanaan pengaturan, kontrol dan kemampuan fungsional untuk benar-benar berjalan . Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penulisan ilmiah. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan dan pengelolaan SIM organisasi dapat secara efektif dan efisien menghasilkan keputusan yang tidak hanya cepat dan akurat tetapi juga sejalan dengan praktik terbaik organisasi. Data telah menjadi aset penting untuk mengawasi asosiasi saat ini. Kajian pustaka digunakan dalam metode penelitian ini. Hasil dalam tulisan ini menemukan bahwa perenungan esensial dan metodologi dinamis dalam otoritas instruktif sangat bagus dan sesuai dengan hipotesis.
