Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of reading literacy skills among elementary school students. This is caused by the lack of adequate reading infrastructure, including libraries and limited variety of books. The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of the Let's Read application affects the reading literacy skills of 5th grade elementary school students. This study uses quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. The design used in this study was a pre-experimental design where only one class was given a pre-test and a post-test, namely the experimental class without a control or comparison class. The questionnaire became the instrument used in this study. As for the respondents in this study were all 5th grade students, totaling 28 people. The treatment was given for 10 meetings. Data processing shows that the Let's Read application has a significant impact on the reading literacy skills of fifth grade students.

Abstract

Android-based digital media in testing students at the Tanjung Redeb Muhammadiyah Vocational School is implement on a web-based or desktop basis, positively this test can increase the effectiveness of the time of educators and the accuracy of their corrections. However, there are frequent leaks of questions and answers, thus increasing fraud in its implementation. So that the awareness of educators is needed, as well as training that can increase the effectiveness of implementing the online exam.

Abstract

The deep learning approach is the latest innovation in the Indonesian education system proposed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education in early 2025. The essence of this approach is to create a learning process that is aware, meaningful, and joyful for students. The purpose of the study is to examine the implementation of deep learning from the way teachers plan, organize, implement, and evaluate deep learning in elementary schools. The research method uses a qualitative method with interview data collection techniques and observation of learning in the classroom. The respondent is an elementary school classroom teacher in the Mantrijeron Yogyakarta Ministry of Education who has implemented deep learning. Thematic data analysis with the help of atlas.ti application 9. The results of the research of elementary school teachers implementing deep learning are still very limited, starting from making a learning plan exactly the same as the example from the ministry, there are no new innovations, learning activities that are just following the directions of the curriculum reference book have not shown creativity independently of the teacher and in terms of organizing students, educators emphasize more on grouping students in learning. A tool to measure the success of deep learning can be done by means of project-based assessments, percentages and self-assessment.

Abstract

The post-covid-19 pandemic is a new era that affects several sectors in Indonesia, one of which is education. Education has changed from conventional learning to online learning. The use of technology in education is still needed to improve the quality of education. Therefore, digital literacy is the main key and foundation that must be owned. This study aims to describe teachers' digital literacy to improve the quality of learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explore the level of teacher ability, driving and constraining factors, efforts of teachers and schools as well as teacher challenges in improving teacher digital literacy to improve quality in learning with a total of 5 informants, namely homeroom teachers for grade 7, homeroom teachers for grade 8, 9th-grade homeroom teacher, physical education teacher, Craft subject teacher. The instruments used in this study are interviews, observations and documentation. The study results show that teacher digital literacy is very influential in improving the quality of learning. So teachers must have digital literacy skills.

Abstract

An information system is a set of interrelated components in the collection, processing, storage, and dissemination of data and information. The need for accurate information has become a basic need of a university to support policy making, especially information related to student lecture activities. This paper will describe the implementation of an e-Campuz information technology-based academic information system in terms of effectiveness, disadvantages, advantages, and strategies for improving academic services at the Sinar Mas Polytechnic Berau Coal. This paper uses a descriptive qualitative research type. The results show that: 1) e-Campuz has been effective in supporting the implementation of academic activities, 2) the advantages of e-Campuz are that it can accommodate lecture activities and New Student Admission (PMB) activities, 3) the drawbacks of e-Campuz are more on the Student Admissions system. New (PMB) which requires simplification of the display, 4) the strategy to make e-Campuz more effective and efficient is to disseminate information to students and lecturers regarding procedures for using e-Campuz features and the need for simplification of the application. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that. e-Campuz is a Cloud Computing-based application that has been effective in facilitating the implementation of academic activities at the Simas Berau Polytechnic. The features in the application are quite complete, starting from New Student Admission (PMB), to the academic portal of students and lecturers. E-Campuz is a web-based academic SIM so that it can be accessed easily. The obstacles faced do not come from the application but from the user, in this case the academic staff and prospective new students who are not educated regarding the use of the application.

Abstract

Indonesia sampai dengan 2022 masih mengkhawatirkan dalam hal minat membaca masyarakatnya. Buku belum ditempatkan sebagai benda penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya minat membaca ialah minimnya ketersediaan media yang menarik. Di era digital ini, dibutuhkan media membaca yang juga digitalize. Sebagai alternatif solusinya, di sejumlah sekolah Kota Bandung tersedia aplikasi perpustakaan digital atau perpustakaan elektronik, salah satunya Smart Library. Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkap pemanfaatan aplikasi tersebut di sekolah Kota Bandung, terutama untuk meningkatkan minat baca guru-gurunya. Dengan mengetahui strategi pemanfaatan aplikasi tersebut, sekolah-sekolah lain bisa menjadikannya sebagai model aplikasi alternatif perpustakaan digital. Metode  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat baca guru di sekolah Kota Bandung yang menggunakan Smart Library. Peningkatan ini dipicu juga oleh pengadaan program literasi sekolah yang memanfaatkan manajemen sistem informasi yang sudah ada pada admin Smart Library. Sejumlah guru yang masih sungkan untuk menggunakan Smart Library terkendala oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internalnya ialah rendahnya kepiawaian guru-guru yang berusia sepuh untuk membaca melalui media gawai. Faktor eksternalnya, mereka merasa tersibukkan oleh aktivitas administrasi kelas sehingga luput untuk membaca. Adanya media membaca tidak serta merta bisa meningkatkan minat membaca tanpa program literasi sekolah yang menarik dan motivasi yang kuat serta pengawasan yang ketat dari manajemen sekolah.

Abstract

Utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the field of academic administration services in tertiary institutions is a necessity, not just for the dignity or the latest higher education management lifestyle but in its implementation, there are many obstacles that tertiary institutions encounter in implementing ICT in this institutional management process. both technical and non-technical factors. Strengthening governance, accountability and public image of higher education forums will lead to increased performance of higher education institutions and product quality. This policy will be meaningful if it is associated with efforts to provide quality educational institution management services, quality teaching programs, quality educational facilities, and quality education staff as well.

Abstract

In this paper, the idea of education management information systems and how they relate to digital transformation will be discussed. It is very important for educational institutions to develop a management information system (MIS). Important to implement as far as administrative needs and people's needs demand, administrative data frameworks provide precise and ideal data that are expected to work with direction and critical thinking that empowers the implementation of arrangements, controls and functional capabilities to actually run. Qualitative descriptive methods are used in scientific writing. The study shows that the development and management of an organization's driver's license can effectively and efficiently result in decisions that are not only quick and accurate but also in line with organizational best practices. Data has become an important asset for keeping an eye on associations today. Literature review is used in this research method. The results in this paper find that essential contemplation and dynamic methodology in instructive authority are excellent and fit the hypothesis.

Abstract

School energy management is one of the efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which focus on using clean and affordable energy and tackling climate change. This study aims to analyze and describe the planning, implementation, evaluation, and school energy management actions to improve the quality of facilities and infrastructure at Cendekia Muda Middle School and Muhammadiyah 8 Middle School Bandung. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation—data reduction techniques, data presentation, and concluding analyzed data. The study results show that planning for school energy management in both schools involves various parties, referring to government policies and considering technical, economic, social, and environmental aspects. The implementation of school energy management in both schools includes saving electricity, using renewable energy, managing waste, and counseling students and the community. Evaluation of school energy management in both schools was carried out using quantitative and qualitative indicators and involving internal and external parties. School energy management measures in both schools took the form of improving facilities, adding alternative energy sources, developing environmental programs, and collaborating with other parties. The results of this study are that school energy management in both schools has been carried out well and has positively impacted the quality of facilities and infrastructure, saving operational costs, increasing environmental awareness, and contributing to SDG achievement. This research implies that school energy management needs to be improved by continuously innovating, monitoring, evaluating, and socializing.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah banyak berperan dalam mengubah dunia pendidikan, salah satunya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran biologi. Transformasi digital memperkenalkan pendekatan baru yang lebih interaktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran antara lain yaitu pemanfaatan multimedia, video simulasi, dan konten digital lainnya untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Pemanfaatan platform pembelajaran online dapat mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran baik di dalam maupun di luar ruang kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui transformasi digital yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Yogyakarta dan untuk mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dialami oleh guru dalam menerapkan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran biologi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru biologi kelas XI di SMA Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, dan sampel yang dipilih adalah 14 orang guru biologi kelas XI di SMA Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara dan kuisioner, instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman wawancara dan angket semi terbuka. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualititatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru biologi di SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Yogyakarta telah menggunakan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran biologi, Platform yang paling banyak digunakan adalah Zoom meeting, google clasroom, quiziz, video pembelajaran, dan Virtual laboratorium. Hambatan-hambatan yang dialami oleh guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi adalah terkait dengan persiapan yang harus dilakukan sebelum proses pembelajaran yang memerlukan waktu relatif lama.
