Abstract

The development of blockchain technology, especially Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), has created challenges for investors in determining the right investment value. This study aims to develop a decision support system using the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to assess NFT as an investment alternative. The research process involves several stages, including problem identification, problem analysis, literature study, data collection, and data analysis. The criteria used in assessing NFT include price, owner/origin, format, rarity, and industry, each with a set weight. After collecting data on various NFTs, a decision matrix is constructed and normalized to reflect the performance of each alternative. The WASPAS and TOPSIS methods are used to assign preference values to each NFT alternative based on their proximity to the positive and negative ideal solutions. The analysis results show that NFT named "Video Clip" (A3) has the highest value with a preference of 0.671, followed by "Song" (A5) with a value of 0.445, and "Book" (A2) with a value of 0.465. Meanwhile, "Selvie Photo" (A4) and "Photo" (A1) have the lowest preferences of 0.196 and 0.189, respectively. This study contributes to NFT investment decision making, by providing a systematic and data-driven approach that can reduce risk and maximize potential profits for investors. The combination of WASPAS and TOPSIS methods offers a comprehensive framework for NFT valuation, so that it can be adopted by investors and NFT platform developers in evaluating the value of digital assets more effectively.

Abstract

Microalgae have proven to be a promising resource in renewable energy search; Products such as bio-oils could contribute to the replacement of petroleum. The objective of this investigation is to determine the decomposition mechanism, obtain the kinetic reaction, as well as evaluate the potential to obtain microalgae bio-oil through microwave-assisted pyrolysis (MAP). MAP is a new thermochemical conversion from biomass to bio-oil that is faster, efficient, controllable, and flexible, compared to conventional pyrolysis, rapid pyrolysis, or instant pyrolysis. As raw material in this experiment, Indonesian microalgae, Botryococcus braunii was used. The investigation focused on the temperature effect (100-300 °C) and the residence time (10-30 min); a modified microwave oven was used with a power of 900 W. Hexane was used for the extraction of bio- oil. The bio-oil composition was measured with chromatography of mass spectrometry gas (GC-MS) and then this data was used to evaluate a kinetic model and calculate the constant kinetic reaction of the pyrolysis process. The results indicated that bio-oil production begins from 100 °C, however, temperatures between 200-250 °C favor the production of bio-oil, while temperatures above 250 °C and the long residence times prioritize the production of bio-gas. Regarding the kinetic evaluated, the reactions seem to show from third to sixth order with an activation energy (E) of around 30 kj/mol and a pre-exponential factor (ln A) of around 9 s-1. Based on GC-MS Analysis, the bio-oil contains short chain alkanes, cycloalkanes, organic acids as well as aromatic, phenol, benzene compounds. On the other hand, although small amounts of oil were achieved, the decomposition of biomass was up to 50% favoring gas production, these results indicate that MAP has potential in the obtaining of biofuels such as bio-gas and bio-oil.

Abstract

This study explored an efficient method for extracting polysaccharides from Chlorella pyrenoidosa using microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) with water as the solvent, a technique consistent with green chemistry principles. The goal was to enhance the yield and quality of polysaccharides for their potential applications as multifunctional active ingredients in the pharmaceutical and functional food industries. Key extraction parameters, including extraction time (10, 20, and 30 min), temperature (80 °C), and solid-to-liquid ratios (1:20, 1:30, 1:40 m/v), were systematically evaluated. The results indicated that a solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:40 m/v at 80 °C for 10 min yielded the highest polysaccharide content (56.64%). FTIR analysis confirmed the presence of pyranose rings in D-glucose and hydroxyl groups, while HPLC identified D-mannose (58.12%) as the predominant sugar, followed by D-glucose (34.46%), D-galactose (3.61%), and L-rhamnose (3.81%). Purified polysaccharide was composed of major mannose and glucose, a biomolecule very important given that it has wide applications in medical and food industries.

Abstract

Road safety is an important issue that greatly affects teenagers, including high school students. The lack of formal education on safe riding practices in schools became the basis for this community service activity. This program aims to improve students’ knowledge and awareness of safe riding through training that includes theoretical sessions, simulations, and hands-on practice. The activity was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Pagelaran, involving students, teachers, traffic police officers (Satlantas), and local motorcycle communities. The training methods consisted of interactive seminars, case discussions, riding technique demonstrations, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests. The evaluation showed an average increase of 45% in students’ understanding after the training. This activity helped shape more responsible riding behavior and provided impactful experiential learning. Similar programs are recommended to be implemented regularly in schools as a preventive effort to reduce traffic accidents among students

Abstract

The application of Euglena as a carbon capture organism has generated considerable interest among scientists. Through the photosynthesis process, many kinds of metabolites are produced by Euglena, such as lipids, proteins, and pigments. Due to the metabolites produced by Euglena, it is vital to optimize the carbon capture ability and cell growth rate by adding Zn2+ content and giving photoperiodic into Euglena culture. The purpose of this study is to identify the optimal photoperiod and Zn2+ concentration to increase the growth rate, biomass, and metabolite content of Euglena sp. This study is a laboratory experiment involving the cultivation of Euglena sp. in various photoperiod cycles (light:dark), namely 24:0, 12:12, 14:10, and 16:8. In addition, Euglena sp. was also cultivated using different concentrations of Zn2+ (0 ppm, 5 ppm, 10 ppm, and 15 ppm). The growth of Euglena sp. was monitored for 18 days before being harvested every three days to measure the research parameters, including primary and secondary metabolites. The results showed that the photoperiod treatment and various concentrations of Zn2+ had a significant impact (P<0.05) on the growth rate, biomass, lipid, carbohydrate, protein, chlorophyll, and carotenoid levels of Euglena sp.
