Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the effectiveness and application of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method, especially on the Focused Improvement pillar on the Printing Packaging machine at PT. Ultra Prima Plast. The research was conducted using quantitative data and an Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) analysis approach. The OEE value was analyzed using Six Big Losses (SBL) to find the dominant factor causing the loss. The loss factor is then classified with the 80/20% formula as a reference for making Fishbone Diagrams. Fishbone Diagram analysis is carried out to find the cause and effect or root causeof each loss. The root of the problem obtained is then given a suggestion for improvement and analyzed using the 5W+1H method. The results of the study obtained an average value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of 28%. Thisvalue is obtained from several calculations including the Availability Rate 97%, Performance Rate 20% and Quality Rate 98%. This value is still below the world category that has been seet by JIPM. which is 85%. The losses on the printing packaging machine are yield losses wich is 58% and reduce speed losses which is 23%. The roots on the problem found were the absence of planed maintenance and autonomus maintenance on Laminasi packaging machine and unmaintained environment inadequate knowlage of human resources and negligance of work procedures in the field.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and numerically analyze the cavitation phenomenon that occurs in Venturi tubes with variations in throat length and pressure changes. This research uses Ansys Fluent 2023 R2 numerical simulation with venturi tube geometries of 25 mm, 30 mm, and 35 mm and pressures of 300,000, 600,000, and 900,000 Pa. A multiphase flow model with water liquid and water vapor is applied to predict cavitation using a mixture model. RANS steady state conditions with the k-ε turbulence model are used to solve the continuity, momentum, energy and volume fraction equations. The Schnerr-Sauer cavitation model calculates the phase transition between water-liquid and water vapor. Geometry varies by reference journal with different converging and diverging angles, outlined in tables and figures. 2D simulations are carried out using a pressure based solver with specified boundary conditions, using the Presto! for pressure solutions, and upwind and Quick schemes for discretization. The results of this research show that 1) Length throat 25 mm has the most stable distribution compared to 30 and 35 mm geometries at a pressure of 600,000 Pa. 2) The cavitation phenomenon is influenced by changes in geometry where at 35 mm geometry greater cavitation occurs in the area near the wall inlet convergent. 3) At a pressure of 900,000 Pa, the cavitation area that forms becomes larger and becomes a critical point in this journal.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of biopellets as biomass energy fuel, focusing on physical and chemical characteristics based on the SNI 8021:2014 standard. The research method used is experimental with a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The raw materials used are a mixture of rambutan wood waste (Nephelium lappaceum L) and bintaro (Cerbera manghas) with tapioca flour as an organic binder. Testing includes proximate analysis (moisture, ash, volatile matter, and fixed carbon) and calorific value using an oxygen bomb calorimeter. The results show that the produced biopellets meet several parameters of the SNI 8021:2014 standard, such as moisture content, volatile matter, and fixed carbon. However, there is significant variation in ash test results among different diameters of biopellets tested. ANOVA test results indicate that mold diameter has a notation that has a significantly affect several biopellet characteristics, such as density and calorific value. This study also observed the potential for increased combustion efficiency of the produced biopellets. The results indicate that the raw material mixture used can reduce pollutant emissions during combustion. The conclusion of this study is that the use of a mixture of rambutan wood waste and bintaro with tapioca flour as an organic binder can produce biopellets with quality that meets standards for biomass energy applications.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the analysis of the role of human resources in operational management on PP.Nurul Jadid cooperatives. The method that the researcher uses is descriptive qualitative method which uses interviews and observation methods. The results of the research obtained by the researcher indicate that the role of operational management on human resources has basically been done well or has been maximized, but in the supervision and planning of the role of human resources in evaluating it still has to be considered because there is no feedback between employees and employees. leader at work, and the planning is still less productive.

Abstract

Desa mandiri dan berdaya saing merupakan isu yang penting dan menjadi perhatian dari semua elemen masyarakat. Guna mewujudkan desa  yang mandiri dan berdaya saing maka pemerintah perlu mengkaji dan memetakan potensi ekonomi desa sebagai sumber daya lokal. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi ekonomi dari sektor pertanian, perkebunan, peternakan, pariwisata, dan industri rumah tangga dan kecil. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis data primer melalui wawancara dengan semua kepala desa dan sekunder digunakan untuk melengkapi informasi dari sumber data primer. Guna memumnculkan daya saing desa, Pemetaan potensi local perlu mengenali dan menggali  potensi dapat dilakukan oleh masyarakat itu sendiri sehingga akan tepat dalam pengembangan desa karena desa sebagai pemerintahan (Kepala dan dan masyarakat) yang memahami dengan jelas potensi baik sumberdaya aam maupun sumber daya manusia yang tersedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komoditas sektor perkebunan merupakan komoditas utama yang dihasilkan, sementara dari sektor peternakan masih memberi dukungan terhadap ternak baik untuk ruminansia dan non-ruminansia. Untuk sektor pariwisata, hanya memilki satu destinasi wisata yang dikelola oleh pemerintah dan dilengkapi dengan fasilitas penunjangnya seperti hotel dan losmen. Sementara untuk sektor industri kecil dan rumah tangga, didominasi oleh industri skala rumah tangga dengan sebagian besar komoditasnya adalah bahan olahan makanan serta gula semut.

Abstract

Abstract  The demand for energy is increasing, therefore researchers are utilizing alternative energy sources such as wind energy. Savonius is a type of vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) that is suitable for use in low wind speed conditions, making it capable of operating in urban areas. Researchers are conducting extensive studies to improve the performance of Savonius wind turbines. The Savonius wind turbine used is a Savonius wind turbine with added layered blades. This research was conducted using the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation method with an existing layered Savonius wind turbine model and varied the overlap ratio and the distance between the layered blades to determine the impact of these variations on efficiency improvement using Ansys Fluent 2022 R2 software. The variations in this study included an overlap ratio of 10% with a blade distance of 33 mm and an overlap ratio of 15% with blade distances of 22 mm and 33 mm at a wind speed of 6.46 m/s. The results showed that the layered Savonius wind turbine from previous research with a configuration of a 10% overlap ratio and a blade distance of 22 mm had the best performance with a power coefficient (Cp) of 0.173 and a torque coefficient (Ct) of 0.46. The results of this study provide an understanding of the impact of increasing the value of the layered blade distance and the overlap ratio on the performance of the Savonius wind turbine, which, if not appropriate, can reduce its efficiency. Keywords: wind energy, Savonius wind turbine, layered blades, overlap ratio, distance between layered blades

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis article discusses a community service program aimed at empowering disabled students (santri) in efforts to prevent stunting through green business initiatives in Babakankaret Village. Stunting is a serious issue that affects child development and the quality of human resources. In this context, disabled students play a crucial role as change agents who can raise community awareness about the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyles. The program includes training in sustainable agricultural management and the cultivation of productive land utilizing local potential, such as fruit farming. In addition to enhancing the knowledge and skills of the students, this initiative also creates job opportunities and strengthens the village's economy. With support from various stakeholders, it is hoped that this program can help reduce stunting rates and create a healthy and independent generation in Babakankaret Village. This research highlights the importance of an inclusive approach to stunting prevention that involves all segments of society, including individuals with disabilities.Keywords: Stunting, Green Business, DisabilityABSTRAKArtikel ini membahas program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan memberdayakan santri disabilitas dalam upaya pencegahan stunting melalui inisiatif green business di Desa Babakankaret. Program ini meliputi pelatihan manajemen pertanian berkelanjutan serta pengelolaan lahan produktif yang memanfaatkan potensi lokal, seperti pertanian tanaman buah. Selain meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan santri, inisiatif ini juga menciptakan lapangan kerja dan memperkuat ekonomi desa. Dengan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, diharapkan program ini dapat membantu menurunkan angka stunting dan menciptakan generasi yang sehat dan mandiri di Desa Babakankaret. Abstract

The community-based empowerment carried out at home industries in Ciantra Village is a form of dedication by the Higher Education staff to community groups in producing butterfly pea-based processed products. The problems faced by partners, namely the drying process of butterfly pea flowers is still done conventionally by drying in the sun, and the drying process takes quite a long time, especially during the rainy season. Solutions that can be offered to overcome these problems with the application and assistance of infrared burner technology-based dryers. The aim of the community partnership empowerment program activities is to carry out technology transfer to home industries and to improve the quality of butterfly pea products. The stages of the activities used in the implementation of the community partnership empowerment program are socialization, application of the dryer, how to use the dryer, assistance, and evaluation. The results achieved through this program are that partners are able to understand the process of drying butterfly pea flowers, are skilled in the drying process of butterfly pea using the technological innovations that have been provided, and the availability of dryers based on infrared technology that partners can use to improve the drying results of butterfly pea flowers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis unsur-unsur pembentuk karakter tokoh dalam kumpulan cerpen Jawa Pos edisi bulan Oktober 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis dokumen. Adapun data yang diambil, yaitu kumpulan cerpen Jawa Pos edisi bulan Oktober 2023. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima elemen utama pembentukan karakter manusia (tokoh) dengan rincian data yaitu emosi, sikap, kepercayaan, kebiasaan, dan kemauan, serta konsepsi diri. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan representasi karakter dalam karya sastra kontemporer kemampuan seorang sastrawan dalam mengungkapkan berbagai imajinasi yang berasal dari fenomena di masyarakat, karya sastra, kemudian dapat mewakili apa yang ada dalam diri pembaca itu sendiri. Implikasi temuan ini mendukung pandangan bahwa sastra merupakan medium efektif untuk menggambarkan pembentukan karakter yang kompleks dan dinamis. Penelitian ini memperkuat teori mimesis Aristoteles, bahwa sastra tidak hanya merepresentasikan kehidupan, tetapi juga memberikan ruang bagi pembaca untuk memahami nilai-nilai moral, sosial, dan spiritual.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in preventing bullying behavior and creating an inclusive school environment at the elementary school level. The research method used at Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT) Insantama is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis was conducted descriptively using a thematic approach to identify the contribution of Islamic Religious Education in developing religious character and preventing bullying. The results show that the consistent application of Islamic values in all aspects of the school, through the Bina Saksiyah Islam program and the integration of religious values into general subjects, significantly contributes to creating a safe, religious, and inclusive environment. Collaboration between Islamic Religious Education teachers and other subject teachers is key to the success of bullying prevention. Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, bullying, religious character, school environtment, inclusive. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam mencegah perilaku bullying dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang inklusif di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT) Insantama adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pembentukan karakter religius serta pencegahan bullying.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai Islam secara konsisten di semua aspek sekolah, melalui program Bina Sakhsiyah Islam dan integrasi nilai agama dalam mata pelajaran umum, berkontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang amana, religius, dan inklusif. Kolaborasi antara guru PAI dan guru mata pelajaran lain menjadi kunci keberhasilan pencegahan bullying. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, bullying, karakter religius, lingkungan sekolah, inklusif
