Abstract

The transformation of public officials’ communication via YouTube has intensified information disintermediation. This study examines the communication practices of Dedi Mulyadi, who conveys public information directly, bypassing conventional media channels. The urgency of this research stems from the critical need for regulatory frameworks governing YouTube usage, as official disintermediation exacerbates the economic strain on local television. The novelty of this study lies in its identification of regulatory lacunae regarding the digital activities of public officials and their subsequent implications for the viability of local broadcasters. Employing a qualitative, descriptive methodology, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders across the media, regulatory bodies, government, and academia. The findings reveal that such disintermediation fosters regulatory asymmetry, positioning YouTube as a ‘pseudo-media’ entity exempt from the social and ethical mandates imposed on local television. Consequently, this research proposes a platform-neutral, impact-based reconstruction of broadcasting regulations. It extends the gatekeeping theory within the digital ecosystem and provides a strategic policy foundation for regulators to integrate public accountability standards into officials’ official YouTube accounts, thereby ensuring a balanced local media landscape.

Abstract

Conflicts within football teams often arise due to performance pressure, unbalanced expectations, and communication gaps between players. This study explores how these conflicts are understood and managed in the context of Indonesian national football, utilising the perspectives of professionals at clubs based in Bandung. Based on Conflict Management Theory and Organisational Communication Theory, this study focused on three main questions: how practitioners interpret tensions between local and foreign players, how they assess the fairness and clarity of PSSI player selection practices, and which approaches they believe are most effective for strengthening team cohesion and public trust. Data were collected and obtained through semi-structured interviews with coaches, former national players, and senior football figures, using a qualitative descriptive design. The research findings highlight that consistent communication, transparent evaluation criteria, and performance-based data integration are essential to prevent conflict escalation. Clear information flow and systematic use of metrics support perceptions of fairness, while structured mediation helps restore harmony when disputes arise. This study makes a theoretical contribution by demonstrating how transparency and evidence-based decision-making strengthen organisational legitimacy and help stabilise group dynamics in professional sports teams.

Abstract

Penelitian berjudul Pengaruh Kemudahan, Manfaat dan Sikap terhadap Perilaku Penggunaan Teknologi SIMRS pada Rumah Sakit Wijayakusuma Purwokerto didasari kurangnya penggunaan teknologi SIMRS karena adanya kesulitan dalam proses penggunaan, manfaat dan sikap terhadap penggunaan SIMRS untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan pada RS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan teknologi, teknologi yang mudah dalam proses penggunaannya serta mudahankan dalam bekerja membuat penggunanya menjadi lebih sering menggunakan teknologi tersebut. Penelitian merekomendasikan RS sebagai penyedia layanan SIMRS agar terus meningkatkan kinerja dan pelayanan terhadap penggunanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel attitude toward using tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan teknologi SIMRS sehingga RS diharapkan dapat memberikan perasaan nyaman, nikmat dan senang bagi tenaga kesehatan dalam menggunakan teknologi.Kata kunci: Kemudahan, Manfaat, Sikap, Penggunaan Teknologi, SIMRS

Abstract

Performance monitoring is an important point for realizing the progress of a company. Effective performance monitoring is by conducting performance assessments of employees. Employee performance is always faced with the problem that employees do not have work achievement targets or Employee Work Targets (SKP). This research aims to find a performance monitoring model that can be applied at STMIK Mardira Indonesia. The research methodology used is a qualitative method with a case study approach and natural observation. The performance monitoring model that is suitable to be implemented at STMIK Mardira is a combination of Traditional Assessment, Management By Objective (MBO), 360-Degree Feedback models supported by a digital-based information system, namely the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

Abstract

Background: While previous studies have often celebrated the ergonomic advantages of mobile video, this research identifies a critical tension in the transition of professional cinematic language to vertical formats. Purpose: This study seeks to uncover the power dynamics and aesthetic modifications within professional vertical productions. Methods: Using a qualitative methodology based on John Fiske’s semiotic analysis (levels of reality, representation, and ideology), this study analyzes the professional vertical film X&Y (Chapter One), created by TikTok Indonesia. Results: Through a close reading of cinematographic elements, the findings reveal a phenomenon of “aesthetic stuttering.” At the level of reality, high-resolution technology successfully builds visual intimacy through the micro-details of facial expressions. However, at the level of representation, the film remains trapped in horizontal cinematic conventions, characterized by the dominance of objective camera angles and a lack of subjective Point of View (POV) exploration typical of vertical video culture. Conclusion: Ideologically, this “stuttering” reveals a covert power struggle in which professional creators negotiate between the dictates of platform algorithms and the entrenched hegemony of traditional film standards. Implications: The discovery of “aesthetic stuttering” suggests that professional content creators must shift from a “cropped horizontal mindset” toward developing a new visual language that is inherently participatory and immersive in order to maximize the unique potential of a vertical narrative.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, kualitas pelayanan, dan struktur organisasi terhadap kepuasan pengguna pada penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) di RS Bhayangkara Jayapura, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linier. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria personel yang memiliki jabatan fungsional tetap dan masa kerja lebih dari satu tahun. Model teori HOT-FIT digunakan sebagai dasar dalam mengevaluasi keberhasilan implementasi SIMRS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, kualitas pelayanan, dan struktur organisasi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Selain itu, keempat variabel tersebut juga secara simultan memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna dalam penerapan SIMRS di RS Bhayangkara Jayapura.

Abstract

Information about tourist attractions is the right of tourists protected by tourism laws and consumer protection. One approach used to fulfill consumer information is through User Generated Content (UGC). This approach serves as virtual branding activities to promote tourist attractions. The content presented must be able to attract visitors' interest. Therefore, there needs to be an effort by tourism managers to provide facilities and tourism infrastructure to ensure visitor comfort. The experiences of tourists will become content published on social media or applications used in User Generated Content (UGC) activities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the motives behind visitors' communal experiences and to analyze the challenges faced by tourism managers in dealing with User Generated Content (UGC) activities. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results obtained indicate that the main motive consciously and collectively built for UGC is to share useful information about tourist attractions through citizen journalism activities. Other results show that the challenges faced by tourism managers in dealing with UGC activities include enhancing facilities, improving tourism accessibility, and increasing cooperation to generate more UGC content by actively involving the community through local activities. One successful example of cooperation is through empowering local residents in the traditional weaving handicraft activities typical of Lombok, which are part of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Abstract

While urban running has surged in popularity, existing studies often focus on the physical health benefits or elite athletic performance, leaving a gap in understanding how novice runners navigate the transition from casual exercise to a structured social identity. This study addresses this gap by examining how communication practices within urban running communities facilitate the formation of values, lifestyles, and identities among beginners. A phenomenological approach is employed to capture the essence of the lived experience and the subjective meanings novice runners attach to their social interactions, providing a deeper understanding of identity construction that quantitative methods cannot reach. Data were gathered through indepth interviews and participant observation with members of the Indorunners Playon Jogja community, followed by thematic analysis. The findings reveal that involvement in these communities is a transformative process where running evolves from a sporadic activity into a disciplined daily routine and a core component of self management. Communication manifested through face to face social support and digital media engagementacts as the primary catalyst in strengthening a sense of belonging and solidifying a new runner identity. Theoretically, this study contributes to the field of communication science by positioning urban sports as a dynamic arena for social practice and identity negotiation. Practically, it offers insights for community organizers and urban health practitioners on leveraging social communication to sustain long term physical activity and community engagement among the urban populace.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Green Human Resources Management, Green Innovation, dan Green Transformational Leadership terhadap Environmental Performance. Tujuan spesifik dari penelitian iniadalah untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh mana masing-masing variabel memengaruhi kinerja lingkungan secara parsial maupun simultan, serta mengevaluasi sinergi ketiga variabel dalam meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya, pengurangan limbah, dan pengelolaan emisi bahan kimia. Permasalahan penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya skor Environmental Performance Index (EPI) Indonesia yang mencerminkan tantangan dalam pengelolaan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 80 responden yang merupakan karyawan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Green Human  Resources Management, Green Innovation, dan Green Transformational Leadership masing-masing memiliki pengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Environmental Performance, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penerapan Green Human Resources Management meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan karyawan, Green Innovation berkontribusi pada efisiensi proses produksi, dan Green Transformational Leadership memotivasi karyawan untuk terlibat dalam praktik ramah lingkungan. Secara keseluruhan, ketiga variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja lingkungan perusahaan melalui pengurangan limbah, efisiensi penggunaan energi, dan pengelolaan emisi bahan kimia. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara Green Human Resources Management, Green Innovation, dan Green Transformational Leadership menjadi strategi penting untuk menghadapi tantangan lingkungan dan meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan di industri tekstil.

Abstract

This study outlines the strategies for demographic bonus management to increase revenue at RSU Pratama Warmare of Manokwari Regency. The demographic bonus, which is marked by a predominance of the productive-age population, becomes a strategic opportunity when it is managed through adaptive healthcare services. However, high morbidity and unemployment rates among the productive-age group in Manokwari create significant challenges to hospital revenue. This study used a qualitative approach with informants from hospital management, medical staff, and patients. The results indicated that the hospital has carried out several strategies: healthcare services according to age groups, digitalization, strengthened external partnerships, and health education programs. Although patient visits and service efficiency have increased, problems still exist—limited human resources and infrastructure as well as low public health awareness among the population. The study recommends that strategic management of the demographic bonus can improve hospital revenue through cross-sectoral policy support and strengthened internal capacity.
