Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, competence and work motivation which have a dominant influence on employee work productivity at HS Samsoeri Mertojoso Hospital. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach and is included in the type of associative research. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The population is nurses at HS Samsoeri Mertojoso Hospital, totaling 92 people using a total sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis techniques using the SPSS program. The research results show that leadership style, competence and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance. The implications of this research are to increase nurses' work productivity, leaders must be able to set good examples, such as being consistent in implementing policies and being able to make the right decisions. Apart from that, leaders must also be able to be fair to all nurses. Management needs to improve competence, such as by including training and seminars, as well as providing flexibility to pursue higher education.

Abstract

In this modern age, most families have both parents working. Despite their professional responsibilities, mothers play a crucial role in the family’s health and well-being, particularly as the primary educators of their children. This research aims to analyze the experiences of working mothers regarding family communication dynamics through WhatsApp, focusing on the closeness between working mothers and their children. The study employs qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach to explore the shared experiences of individuals or groups with similar characteristics. The participants are working mothers aged 27 or older, with at least a diploma education, who actively use WhatsApp to communicate with their children and reside in Bandung. The research indicates that WhatsApp is a highly effective communication tool for working mothers to sustain family communication dynamics. It helps instill positive values, sympathy, and empathy, and is considered a primary necessity for maintaining a close relationship between working mothers and their children.

Abstract

Implementasi Sistem Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (RSUP) Dr. Kariadi Semarang telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap efisiensi operasional rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi RME, dengan melibatkan partisipasi dokter, perawat, dan personel operasional melalui wawancara semi- terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RME secara substansial meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pencarian dan pengelolaan rekam medis, mengurangi biaya administrasi, dan meningkatkan produktivitas tenaga kesehatan. Namun, tantangan terkait dengan alokasi sumber daya, baik dalam aspek finansial maupun sumber daya manusia, masih menjadi kendala yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini menekankan bahwa pemahaman mendalam tentang kebutuhan dan tantangan implementasi, disertai dengan komitmen untuk meningkatkan infrastruktur serta pemberdayaan staf, dapat mendukung tercapainya manfaat jangka panjang dari sistem RME. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa keberhasilan implementasi RME tidak hanya bergantung pada aspek teknis, tetapi juga pada kesiapan organisasi dan sumber daya manusia. Institusi kesehatan harus memperhatikan kesiapan staf dalam mengadopsi teknologi baru dan mengalokasikan sumber daya yang cukup untuk mendukung implementasi serta pemeliharaan jangka panjang RME. Meskipun tantangan seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan dan kebutuhan infrastruktur teknologi masih ada, penghematan biaya operasional dan peningkatan efisiensi yang signifikan membuat penerapan RME layak untuk dipertahankan dan dikembangkan.

Abstract

Hospitals depend on their human resources (HR) performance for effective operations. Efficient HR management helps recruit, develop, and retain skilled personnel. Competitive remuneration plays a key role in attracting and retaining high-quality HR by enhancing motivation, satisfaction, and loyalty, which influence service quality and turnover intentions. This study examined how remuneration affects service quality and turnover intentions among specialist physicians at RSUD Sultan Imanuddin Pangkalan Bun, Indonesia. This study used a cross-sectional design and a survey data collection technique, the total sampling, 39 out of 42 specialist physicians participated. Statistical analysis using the SEM-PLS. The result revealed salary and benefits (remuneration) had no significant impact on service quality (path coefficient -0.008, p>0.05). However, remuneration significantly influenced physicians' turnover intentions (path coefficient -0.675, p<0.05), with lower remuneration increasing the likelihood of physicians leaving. Nevertheless, turnover intentions did not have a significant effect on service quality (path coefficient 0.119, p>0.05), and low remuneration did not directly impact service quality (path coefficient -0.081, p>0.05). The study finds that remuneration affects turnover intention but not service quality. The hospital should explore other factors affecting service quality and develop a fair, transparent, competitive remuneration policy to retain high-quality specialist physicians.

Abstract

Rapid technological developments have given rise to new technologies, one of which is Artificial Intelligence (AI). Virtual Influencers are a phenomenon that is currently popular in Indonesia. The emergence of virtual influencers is based on the increasingly advanced existing technology. The emerging artificial intelligence has an influence on the marketing of products or services on social media, especially on the Instagram platform. This research aims to determine the virtual activities of influencers on Instagram. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method that is in-depth on empirical findings containing related information about virtual influencers. Research results obtained from interviews with sources show that virtual influencers are an effective technological advancement in helping a brand market its products or services. Even though most of them received  positive responses, it cannot be denied that virtual influencers also received negative responses. Virtual influencers are considered to be more able to adapt to a brand's wishes. In terms of marketing, virtual influencers  are easier to control because basically behind virtual influencers there are humans who design the program.

Abstract

This study examines the characteristics, role of social media, and self-esteem of victims in cyberbullying cases in Indonesia, motivated by the growing phenomenon of bullying behavior on social media platforms. The research aims to analyze how these characteristics and the social environment influence the self-esteem of cyberbullying victims. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method, using purposive sampling to select 20 informants who have experienced cyberbullying, including children, adolescents, and adults in Bandung. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that cyberbullying negatively impacts victims' self-esteem, leading to trauma, social isolation, and reduced confidence. This lack of self-esteem is influenced by the anonymity of perpetrators and the rapid spread of harmful content. The study also highlights that gender, age, and social environment significantly shape the victims' experiences. Negative emotional turmoil is a major reason for perpetrators to engage in cyberbullying. The results suggest that early prevention and intervention from parents or guardians are crucial. Families should prioritize creating a supportive environment to enhance the resilience of children exposed to cyberbullying. These insights can contribute to developing more effective strategies to reduce the impact of cyberbullying on victims.Keywords: cyberbullying, social media, self-esteem.  AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji karakteristik, peran media sosial, dan harga diri (self-esteem) korban dalam kasus cyberbullying di Indonesia, yang dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya fenomena perilaku perundungan di media sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana karakteristik dan lingkungan sosial mempengaruhi harga diri korban cyberbullying. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pemilihan 20 informan yang pernah menjadi korban cyberbullying melalui teknik purposive sampling, mencakup anak-anak, remaja, dan dewasa di Kota Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cyberbullying berdampak negatif pada harga diri korban, menyebabkan trauma, isolasi sosial, dan penurunan rasa percaya diri. Rendahnya harga diri ini dipengaruhi oleh anonimitas pelaku dan penyebaran informasi yang cepat. Penelitian juga menemukan bahwa jenis kelamin, usia, dan lingkungan sosial memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pengalaman korban. Gejolak emosi negatif menjadi alasan utama pelaku melakukan cyberbullying. Hasil ini mengindikasikan pentingnya pencegahan dan intervensi dini dari orang tua atau wali. Keluarga harus menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung untuk meningkatkan ketahanan anak yang mengalami cyberbullying. Temuan ini dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk mengurangi dampak negatif cyberbullying terhadap korban.Kata Kunci: cyberbullying, media sosial, self-esteem.

Abstract

Information about tourist attractions is the right of tourists protected by tourism laws and consumer protection. One approach used to fulfill consumer information is through User Generated Content (UGC). This approach serves as virtual branding activities to promote tourist attractions. The content presented must be able to attract visitors' interest. Therefore, there needs to be an effort by tourism managers to provide facilities and tourism infrastructure to ensure visitor comfort. The experiences of tourists will become content published on social media or applications used in User Generated Content (UGC) activities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the motives behind visitors' communal experiences and to analyze the challenges faced by tourism managers in dealing with User Generated Content (UGC) activities. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results obtained indicate that the main motive consciously and collectively built for UGC is to share useful information about tourist attractions through citizen journalism activities. Other results show that the challenges faced by tourism managers in dealing with UGC activities include enhancing facilities, improving tourism accessibility, and increasing cooperation to generate more UGC content by actively involving the community through local activities. One successful example of cooperation is through empowering local residents in the traditional weaving handicraft activities typical of Lombok, which are part of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan budaya organisasi dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam menurunkan turnover intention karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention karyawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji korelasi Spearman's rho dan analisis regresi multivariat. Populasi penelitian adalah karyawan, dengan sampel sebanyak 12 responden. Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara budaya organisasi dengan turnover intention dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,674 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,016 (p < 0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi budaya organisasi maka semakin rendah turnover intention. Sebaliknya terdapat hubungan positif antara komitmen organisasi dengan turnover intention dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,135 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,006 (p < 0,05) meskipun hubungan tersebut tergolong lemah. Uji multivariat menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan nilai koefisien beta masing-masing sebesar -0,674 dan -0,582. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi memiliki dampak yang lebih besar dalam mengurangi turnover turnover dibandingkan dengan komitmen organisasi.

Abstract

In a digital era, full of challenges, the phenomenon of hyperreality was becoming increasingly prominent, narrowing the difference between the real physical world and the world of digital simulations. Thanks to advances in technology, virtual influencers appear on social media as virtual figures who behave like real humans. This research seeks to discuss the impact and potential of virtual strategies in public relations (PR) practice in the digital realm. Integrating the concept of transmedia storytelling, the implication of this approach from a communication science perspective is to create a narrative flow that strengthens communication and messages. Characters and figures are created in such a way that they involve three elements, namely the storyteller, the fairy tale and the interacting listener. The storyteller in this case is the creator of the character, the fairy tale is the scenario in the form of the message to be conveyed, the listener who interacts is the involvement that is created. The aim of this research is to determine Hyperrealism in Transmedia Storytelling in Digital Public Relations Activities. This study uses a case study method with a common case approach, which takes Miquela as a virtual influencer case for further study. The research results highlight changes in communication activities from conventional to modern, especially through the use of technology and social media. Furthermore, this research shows that, in facing the complex digital era, PR needs to build and maintain a reputation that is honest, transparent and balanced between the digital and real worlds. In essence, this research not only provides theoretical input but also provides practical insight for PR professionals to face the dynamics of communication in the ever-growing digital world.
