Abstract

This research aims to analyze the needs and the use of learning resources by lecturers in the Economic Theory and Policy course since it has been investigated that the majority of students have low learning motivation. The learning motivation itself on the other side can be improved when the learning resource meets the students' needs. 30 students of the Economic Education Magister Program of Riau University were selected as subjects of this explorative research. Data was collected using a questionnaire to be analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using tables and graphs. Findings show that: (1) Some learning resources are frequently used for most of the students by lecturers in their lecture (lecturers’ explanations in class, group discussions), digital books, and powerpoint slides by the aid of high-performance computer; (2) Some learning resources are preferred by most students; yet have not been used by the lecturers namely: digital clippings, exercises, and interactive quizzes; (3) Services provided by the institution, namely: internet/wi-fi facility, convenient and complete facilities of the library; comfortable classrooms, and beautiful parks surrounding the learning area, have to be better improved to perfection; and (4) Some obstacles are met by students during their lecturers, namely: abundant amount of material, fast explanation by lecturers, unreliable internet facility, uncomfortable classrooms, and lack of lecturers' feedback upon assignment. In an attempt to meet the students' needs, a learning strategy is required particularly for utilizing such learning resources as digital books, clippings, and powerpoint slides either offline or online.

Abstract

Abstract: This study motivated students have low learning interest in learning civic education. This is seen when researchers di observations in class some students who enter the classroom when following learning civic education not pay attention to explanations given teachers, they are cool with their respective occupations, delivery of material that is considered less attractive, students are still while doing test questions in learning civic education , late entry into the classroom hours so distrubing the teaching and learning process and when the lesson of studens often premit out, this tends to give teachers reward and punishment to students. Formulations of this problem (1) whether there is a reward effect on interest in learning? (2) whether there is influence punishment to interest in learning? (3) whether there is influence of reward and punishment together towards the interest of learning? The purpose of this study (1) to know the effect of reward on learning interes (2) to know the effect of punishment on interest in learning (3) to know the effect of reward and punishment together on the interest of learning. This research is q quantitative descriptive research. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression. There is the effect of reward on interest in learning with tcount 2.571 > ttable 1.71 or 0,019 < 0,05. Ther is a punishment effect on interest in learning with tcount 2.468 > ttable 1.71 or 0,023 < 0,05. There is the effect of reward and punishment together on the interest of learning with equality Y = -8,307 + 1,547(X1) + 1,125(X2). In this research can be seen there is influence of reward and punishment to learning interest of civic education with donation 33,9%.Keyword: Influence, Reward-Punishment, Interest

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the low PPKn learning motivation of students at SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is: "Is there any influence on the use of Business Risk learning models on PPKn Learning Motivation for VIII grade students at SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru?”. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of a risky Business learning model on PPKn Learning Motivation for VIII grade students at SMP Tri Bhakti. This research was conducted at Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru Middle School in July 2018. And is a quantitative descriptive research that is experimental. The population in this study were eighth grade students at SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. The sample in this study was taken based on the technique "Random Sampling”. Where the classes taken as samples are students of Class VIII (1) students (experimental class) who were given a Risk Business learning model and VIII (2) class students (control class) were students who were given conventional methods. Then analysis data using homogeneity and t-test and gain test.Based on the results of the study showed that there was an effect of PPKn learning motivation between students who used risky business learning models with conventional methods at SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru (>). Thus there is anThe Effect Of Risk Business Learning Models On PPKn Learning Motivation Of Class VIII Students At Smp Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. This means that there is an influence between the risky business learning model and the learning motivation of the magnitude of the influence after it is calculated with a gain test showing the risky learning model of business gives an effect on learning motivation of 0.72. And there was an average increase in PPKn learning motivation in the experimental class from 41.12 to 43.06 and the increase in the average control class learning motivation of the control class from 29.85 to 30.05. Keywords: Risk Business, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of ppkn student learning outcomes in SMP Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam. Formulation of the problem in this research is : “how the influence of the learning model charades on learning outcomes of students of class VII PPKn SMP Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam?”. This reaserch aimed to determine the effect of charades learning model to the learning outcomes of students in learning PPKn in SMP Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam in july 2016. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the population in this research were students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam. Sempel in the research is class VII 2 (control class) students were given a lecture and class VII 1 (experimental class) students by learning model charades then the data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test and test “t”. Based on the results of the research show that there are positive influence on learning outcomes of students who applied learning models charades compared to using conventional methods in SMP Negeri 1 Kunto Darussalam with the price (, 3,74 ≥ 1,9977). Thus obtained the hypothesis there is a significant positive effect of the application of the model of charades with student learning outcomes VII 1 SMP N 1 Kunto Darussalam acceptable.Key Words:Learning Outcomes, Models Charades

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the factors that influence consumer behavior in choosing a vocational high school in SMK Nurul Falah Pekanbaru. The research was conducted at SMK Nurul Falah Pekanbaru. The population of this study were students of SMK Nurul Falah Pekanbaru academic year 2012/2013 up to 2014/2015 which amounted to 532 people. The sample used by the Gay opinion proportionate stratified random sampling method. The sample size of 53 people. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results of this study show that: 1) Pricing and Facilities significantly to the influence on consumer behavior in choosing a vocational school Nurul Falah Pekanbaru. 2) Product, Promotion, and location does not significantly influance the behavior of consumers in choosing a vocational school Nurul Falah Pekanbaru.Key words: Consumer Behavior, Price, Product, Promotion, Location, Facilities

Abstract : This research is motivated by the influence of PPKn TeacherCommunication Against Student Learning Outcomes. The formulation of the researchproblem is: "How do PPKn teacher communication at MTs Darul-Hikmah Pekanbaruschool?" "How do you learn about PPKn at the MTs Darul-Hikmah Pekanbaruschool?" Is there any effect of PPKn teacher communication on learning outcomes atthe MTs Darul-Hikmah Pekanbaru School? ". The purpose of the study was todetermine the communication of PPKn teachers at MTs Darul-Hikmah pekanbaru, tofind out the student learning outcomes in PPKn subjects at the MTs Darul-HikmahPekanbaru school and to find out the influence of PPKn teacher communication onstudent learning outcomes in PPKn subjects at Darul-Hikmah MTs Pekanbaru. Thisresearch was conducted at MTs Darul-Hikmah Pekanbaru in July 2018, this researchwas a quantitative descriptive population of 73 students with the straifet rendomsampling technique. Data collection instruments are questionnaires with a total of 16questions. Thus there is a positive influence of PPKn teacher communication on studentlearning outcomes ". This is evidenced by testing the hypothesis between Variable X andVariable Y, obtained by calculating F by 2,381, the Fcount value is then compared withthe Ftable value with a 95% confidence level, is 1,771 because Fcount> Ftable (2,381>1,771), then the hypothesis is accepted thus it was concluded that there was asignificant influence of teacher communication on learning outcomes with a coefficientof determination of 38.53 while 61.47% was influenced by other variables not includedin this study.Keywords: Teacher Communication, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: According to the UUD 1945 paragraph IV, one of Indonesia’s aim is make this nation getting smarter. In order to reveal that aim, we need to do an effort such as the developing human resource with the improvement of education qualities. This research held in SMA Negeri6 Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis to analyze the influence of pedagogical competence due to the interest in learning for students in SMA Negeri6 Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis. With the proporsion random sampling technique, the researcher got 52 students as the sample of this research. The analyses technique use descriptive quantitative analyses with using simple regression linier equation that proceeded with SPSS 16.00 version. Based on the research result, the influence of teacher’s pedagogical competence is significance enough due to the learning interest of the students in SMA Negeri6 Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis. Based on the significance experiment result that held with result F count (9,065) ≥ F table (4,03) with Sig (0,0004) ≤ (0,05). It means that is rejectedand is accepted. the result of simple regression linier equation is Y = 31,810 + 0.503X. it is show us that without pedagogical competence, students learning interest is 31,810 and for every 1 improvement of teacher’s pedagogical competence will improve 0.503X students learning interest. On regression analyses calculation the researcher got 0,513 RSquare of contribution to students learning interest. It means that pedagogical competence variable gives contribution to students learning interest in SMA Negeri 6 Mandau 15,3% and rest 84,7 % influenced by other variables. Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the low interest of high school graduates in Pulau Merbau sub-district to continue their study to university. Students' interest to continue their education to university is less than 50% of the number of students who graduate each year. The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the interest of high school students in Pulau Merbau District to continue their education to university and the factors that affect it. The purpose of this study is to determine the interest and factors that influence the interest of continuing education to university high school students in the district of Pulau Merbau. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the interest of continuing education to college in high school students in Pulau Merbau District is high upwards with 88,3% contribution. As for the factors that influence the interest of continuing education to university is the establishment of a person 1.070, the ideals 1.109, talents 1.006, family environment 0.272, school environment 0.345, community environment (-0.345), peer environment 0.135 and the socioeconomic parent 0.009. Thus the hypothesis stating "There is an influence between the interest of continuing education to college and the factors that influence it" is accepted. This is evidenced by multiple linear regression tests between variables X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8 and Y. Figures 11.381 and Ftable 2.12. Obtained from the study of Ftable distribution list with N = 60, at 5% significant level, thus can be known Fcount> Ftable or 11.381> 2.12 then H0 is rejected, so hypothesis in this research accepted.Keywords: Interest Continuing Education, Influencing Factors

Abstract: This study was conducted as extracurricular activities motivated by the forces of the flag raisers aimed at forming attitudes of students due to the low nationalism nationalistic attitudes among students. The problems of this study was the effect of extracurricular activities troop flag raisers nationalism in shaping attitudes of students in SMP 12 Pekanbaru. As for the population and sample in this research that students who take paskibra extracurricular activities are 30 people with a sampling technique that technique saturated samples (total sampling). And Data collected through observations, questionnaires and interviews and technical literature. In analyzing the data using simple linear regression analysis. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how the financial performance of the unit cooperative Desa Tani Bahagia Desa Kulim Jaya Indragiri Hulu Regency seen from the ratio of solvency, profitability and liquidity. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique in this study was taken from the cooperative financial statements from 2013 to 2015 and used in this study is the ratio analysis based on the Peraturan Menteri Negara Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Nomor: 20/Per/M.KUKM/XI/2009.. The percentage of liquidity is in the Unhealthy category with a percentage value of <174%, amounting to 99.39% - 166.78%. The solvency percentage got the Very Unhealthy category with a percentage of <100%, amounting to 94.74% - 80.67%. The percentage of profitability is categorized as Very Healthy with a percentage value of> 10%, amounting to 0.23% - 22.80%. So it can be concluded that the financial performance of the unit cooperative Desa Tani Bahagia Desa Kulim Jaya Indragiri Hulu Regency, seen from the analysis of liquidity ratios, solvency and profitability, shows a condition that tends to decline.Key Words: Liquidity, Solvability, Rent Ability
