Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of playing online games on student learning outcomes in economic subjects in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The population of this study were all students who took economic lessons as many as 108 students. . Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The results showed (1) student learning outcomes were still low with an average of 78.75 with a KKM of 80. (2) the frequency of the types of online games most favored by students between non-economic online games, economic online games and online game competitions was playing games. online economy with the highest percentage of 17 and the percentage of 37.7%. based on the online game classification, the highest is free fire with an average number of 6.33. based on the online game classification, the highest is free fire with an average number of 6.33. For economic online games, the highest percentage is 13 with a percentage of 28.8% with the highest economic online game classification, namely billioners with an average number of 5. While online game competitions, the highest percentage is 15 and the percentage is 33.3% with game competition classification. The highest online is free fire with an average number of 8.6 (3) The results of the study are based on multiple linear regression with the equation HB = 64.293- 0.734 GONE- 0.644 GOE- 0.591 KGO means non-economic online games, economic online games, and online game competitions has a significant negative effect on learning outcomes. This happens because students tend to have a higher intensity towards online games and online game competitions than economic online games.Key Words : Play Online Games, Student Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the factors that cause children to drop out of school. In the role of the sub-district to be precise in the village of Baturijal Hulu, there are children who quit school or drop out of school. This can see the phenomenon and make observations and conduct interviews with one of the parents of children who have dropped out of school there, namely Mrs. Mita. According to Mrs. Mita, I quit second grade high school because of the influence of the social environment. He went out to play with his friends almost every night out, as parents often forbade him to go out too often and told him to study. to the extent that almost every day the mother gets angry telling her to go to school. Based on the formulation of the problem in this study, what are the factors that cause children to drop out of school. While the aim of the researcher is to determine the factors that cause children to drop out of school and the benefits of this study to increase knowledge that education is very important in life. Because education is very important in achieving dreams, dreams and the future. This research method is qualitative, the informants in this study amounted to 15 children who met the criteria as informants using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview and documentation. For data analysis techniques in this study are data reduetition (data reduction), data display (data presentation), and verification (drawing conclusions). The causes of children dropping out of school are caused by the weak family economy, less attention from parents about the importance of children's education. , lack of ability, lack of interest in learning, the influence of the living environment, and not graduating or embarrassed.Key Words: Factors, School Dropout Children

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) test and analyze the Leadership Style of Employee Performance at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Dumai Branch, (2) tested and analyzed the influence of Organizational Culture on Employee Performance at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Dumai Branch, (3) tested and analyzed the influence of Leadership Style and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Dumai Branch. This research method uses quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were employees who worked permanently at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Dumai Branch by taking the entire population as many as 40 employees. Collecting data using a questionnaire and source documents. The data analysis used descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The research results state that: (1) Leadership Style at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Branch Dumai on Employee Performance shows that the leadership implementation carried out by the leader of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Branch Dumai in the good category at 52.5%. (2) Organizational Culture at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Branch Dumai on Employee Performance shows that the Organizational Culture implemented by employees of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Branch Dumai in the good category at 60%. (3) Leadership Style and Organizational Culture simultaneously do not have a significant influence on the Employee Performance of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Branch Dumai which shows that the R square of Employee Performance is influenced by Leadership Style and Organizational Culture of 0.20 or 2% where the remaining 98% is influenced by other factors outside of this study. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge about Islamic banking and disposible income on interest in saving at BNI Syariah Bank Pekanbaru. The number of samples used in this study were 71 customers who made transactions at BNI Bank. The type of data used in this research is primary data in the form of knowledge, disposible income and interest in saving. The method of collecting data using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant influence between knowledge and disposible income on the interest in saving at the new syariah Bank BNI.Key Words: Knowledge, Disposible income and Interest in saving

Abstract

Abstract: Education is very important in the lives of every individual. Education is closely related to learning activities. One of the factors that influence learning activities is the interest in learning. Therefore, students' learning interests must be increased through the use of appropriate learning media to become a learning resource. The learning medium is internet media. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between the use of the internet as a learning resource and the interest in studying economics education students of Riau University. The data required in this study is primary data collected by questionnaire or questionnaire. The research population is all students of Economic Education class of 2017 and 2018 Riau University as many as 157 students. Samples were taken by 113 students with simple random techniques. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and correlation analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between the use of the internet as a learning resource and the interest in learning. The amount of internet utilization relationship as a learning resource with learning interests 0.649 with a sig of 0.000 < 0.05. This means the high low utilization of the internet as a learning resource has an impact on learning interests. The higher the use of the internet as a learning resource, the higher the interest in learning students.Key Words: Internet Utilization, Learning Resources, Learning Interests.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how the perception of students of the University of Riau about Politics in Indonesia. Based on the results of observations and surveys conducted by the author, there are still many students who are apathetic and do not understand politics in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach as a support. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, literature study and questionnaires. The sample in this study amounted to 150 respondents and was determined based on the Quota Sampling technique. While the process of distributing the questionnaire was carried out using the Incidental Sampling technique. The research instrument consists of 5 indicators, namely the State, Power, Decision Making, Public Policy, and Distribution. This means that they have a very high understanding of politics in Indonesia.Key Words: Students, Perceptions, Indonesian Politics

Abstract

This research is motivated by online learning and student character building. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of online learning on the character formation of students at SMP Negeri 4 Tualang Siak District. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of online learning on the character formation of students at SMP Negeri 4 Tualang Siak District. The benefits of this research are that this research is expected to be used as study material in the world of education, especially those related to the influence of online learning on the formation of student character, especially in the character of student discipline and responsibility. The sample in this study were students at SMP Negeri 4 Tualang Siak District, totaling 68 respondents, determined by proportional random sampling technique. The data collection instruments are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Processing of data with quantitative analysis using a simple linear regression formula assisted by the SPSS version 16 application by stating the hypothesis; there is an influence between online learning on the character formation of students at SMP Negeri 4 Tualang Siak District. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun desain pendidikan kewirausahaan mahasiswa yang dapat menciptakan dan mengembangkan technopreneur. Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Riau. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi; kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan berbasis technopreneurship memerlukan integrasi dan sinergi antara kewirausahaan dan akademik prodi/jurusan kedalam isi (materi), kegiatan, dan metode untuk membangun kompetensi kewirausahaan mahasiswa. Isi pendidikan kewirausahaan berupa materi yang disajikan, dibahas, dan dikembangkan dalam kegiatan, sedangkan kegiatan dan metodenya meliputi perkuliahan, pelatihan, pembinaan, dan lomba kewirausahaan, serta inkubasi bisnis. Perkuliahan kewirausahaan untuk menciptakan kompetensi kewirausahaan dasar (memiliki pola pikir dan kemampuan menciptakan pekerjaan), pelatihan dilaksanakan untuk menumbuhkan kompetensi kewirausahaan menengah (menyusun proposal usaha yang layak), sedangkan pembinaan dan inkubasi bisnis untuk mengembangkan kompetensi kewirausahaan lanjut (menjalankan/mengembangkan usaha). Status mata kuliah kewirausahaan perlu ditingkatkan menjadi mata kuliah wajib. Pendidikan kewirausahaan diprogramkan dan dilaksanakan oleh unit kewirausahaan berdasar Keputusan Rektor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of hidden objectives in the Introduction to Management lectures that use the Concept-mapping and Coaching method on explaining skills of prospective teacher students. This research is included in the development study. The study population was all students of introduction to management (non-Microteaching) in the Faculty of Teacher Training which consisted of two classes (PE-A 40 students as control class and PE-B 39 students as experimental class). This study used simple random sampling technique to determine 14 sample people from each class. Primary data were obtained from samples of two classes through observation in explaining skills, and then data were analyzed descriptively and in in analysis of Independent sample t-test. From the descriptive analysis, the average score of explaining skills of prospective teacher students in the experimental class was higher than the control class score. The results of the analysis of the t-test for equality test showed that there are convincing differences in explaining skills in prospective teacher students between the control class and the experimental class. Thus, the hidden objective in the Concept-mapping Coaching Method in the lecture of Introduction Management can improve the better explaining skills of prospective student teachers. Suggestions from the results of this study are that other non-Microteaching lecturers in the Faculty of Teacher Training will use hidden objectives to accelerate mastery of student teacher teaching skills in an effort to support the realization of professional prospective teachers.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the effectiveness of the online learning system on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMPIT Al-Fikri Islamic Green school Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effectiveness of the online learning system on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMPIT Al-Fikri Islamic Green School Pekanbaru. The purpose of the study was to find out how the effectiveness of the online learning system on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMPIT Al-Fikri Islamic Green School Pekanbaru students of SMPIT Al-Fikri Islamic Green School Pekanbaru who were taking Civics subjects and totaled 92 students. The research sample amounted to 47 students who were students and students of class VII & VIII determined by purposive sampling technique. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with the measuring instrument used for each variable is a questionnaire and documentation where the data obtained is processed with the SPSS version 16 application. equal to 0.585 Then it can be concluded that in this case Fcount is smaller than Ftable, then Ho is accepted. So that there is no significant effectiveness between the online learning system on student learning outcomes at SMPIT Al-Fikri Islamic Green School Pekanbaru. Based on this statement, the research hypothesis is rejected. the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.013 which implies that the effect of the independent variable (Online Learning System Effectiveness) on the dependent variable (Student Learning Outcomes) is 11.3%. While 88.7% (100% -11.3%) is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Key Words: Effectiveness, Online Learning, Student Learning Outcomes
