Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tindakan manajemen laba yang dilakukan untuk memanipulasi laporan keuangan dengan sengaja dalam batasan yang dibolehkan oleh prinsip-prinsip akuntansi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang menyesatkan kepada para pengguna laporan keuangan untuk kepentingan para manajerpada perusahaan manufaktur. Model pendeteksian manajemen laba yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan model Modified Jones. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian untuk membuat model prediksi mengenai faktor-faktor karakteristik perusahaan yang mendorong atau mempengaruhi tindakan manajemen laba dengan mempertimbangkan pemediasi luas pengungkapan dan dampak pengungkapan terhadap respon pasar atas laba yang dilaporkan. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI pada Tahun 2008 sampai dengan 2011. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan 2S OLS. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2008-2011. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling method, dengan kriteria perusahaan manufaktur yang konsisten terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2008-2011 dan aktif melakukan perdagangan saham. Jenis data adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari laporan keuangan tahunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pengujian tahap pertama, Leverage dan Kepemilikan Saham Publik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Luas Pengungkapan. sedangkan Profitabilitas, Ukuran KAP dan Ukuran Perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Luas Pengungkapan. Berdasarkan pengujian tahap kedua ditemukan bahwa hanya profitabilitas saja yang berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba. Pengujian tahap ketiga dengan variabel pemediasi Luas Pengungkapan  menunjukkan bahwa Luas Pengungkapan memediasi pengaruh antara Leverage, Kepemilikan Saham, Ukuran KAP dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Manajemen Laba, namun disclosure tidak memediasi pengaruh Profitabilitas terhadap Manajemen Laba. Pada pengujian tahap keempat, dapat diketahui bahwa luas pengungkapan berpengaruh negatif terhadap manajemen laba. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa terjadi tindakan manajemen laba yang disebabkan oleh faktor profitabilitas, karena profitabilitas merupakan obyek yang langsung berkaitan dengan manajemen laba. Kualitas informasi akuntansi yang tinggi akan menggambarkan seberapa bagus kualitas laba yang dihasilkan dari proses akuntansi, sehingga akan semakin kecil kemungkinan melakukan tindakan manajemen laba. Abstract

AbstractExtensive disclosure of financial statements is closely related to a mechanism to reduce the asymmetry information in order to reduce conflicts of interest arising from the separation of ownership with management. When confronted with the differences between investors and management information or information asymmetry, then it will certainly have an impact on the relevance of the information. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of corporate characteristics on information asymmetry to that mediated by the broad disclosure. This research was conducted at the company's manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2008-2010. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method, with consistent criteria manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the year 2008-2010 and active stock trading. The type of data is secondary data sourced from the annual financial statements. Methods of data analysis using path analysis with OLS 2S. The results found that that the size of the Company, Firm Size and Profitability no effect Broad Disclosure. While LnLeverage and public ownership Ln significant effect on Broad Disclosure. Disclosure does not mediate the vast influence LnLeverage Company Size Size Firm Profitability on Information Asymmetry. Disclosure mediate LnKepemilikanSaham broad influence on Information Asymmetry.The conclusion from this study is that the company will be owned by the public limelight, so companies are trying to meet the public's desire to do as much as possible so that the disclosure will reduce information asymmetry.Keywords: disclosure, company size, leverage

Abstract

Salah satu target Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 adalah menurunnya angka kematian ibu (AKI). Di Kota Semarang AKI masih menjadi perhatian penting dimana pada 2017 kasus AKI masih tinggi yaitu 23 kasus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik dan faktor risiko ibu meninggal karena kehamilan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, data penelitian merupakan data sekunder dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Semarang tentang AKI tahun 2015 dan 2016. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian adalah 67 kasus AKI. Data diolah dengan menggunakan uji deskriptif dengan menyajikan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur ibu meninggal rata-rata 30 tahun, dengan 70,1% tergolong dalam kelompok non-risti menurut umur. Tingkat Pendidikan ibu sebagain besar pada kategori menengah (70,1%), sebagian besar merupakan ibu rumah tangga (58,2%), Jarak melahirkan anak rata-rata 3 tahun, ibu hamil meninggal rata-rata pada kehamilan usia 33 bulan (trimester ketiga). Sebagian besar kasus melakukan kunjungan antenatal care (80,6%). Sebagaian besar kasus meninggal pada saat nifas (83,3%) dan bayi yang dilahirkan 58,3% hidup. One of targets of sustainable development goals (SDGs) 2030 is decreasing number of maternal mortality rate. In Semarang city, maternal mortality still become an important concern which is in 2017 number of cases was 23 cases. Study aimed was to describe characteristic and risk factor of maternal mortality. Study was descriptive study, data of the study was secondary data of maternal mortality of Health Department of Semarang city year 2015 and 2016. Sample was 67 cases of maternal mortality. Data analyzed with descriptive test provides frequency distribution table. Result showed that age of maternal mortality in average was 30 years old, with 70,1% was in non-high-risk group based on age. Level of education mostly in middle group (70,1%), majority was housewife (58,2%). The average of Spacing between pregnancy was 3 years, maternal mortality in average death on 33 months old pregnancy. Majority cases performed ANC (80,6%). Mostly cases death in childbed period (83,3%) and baby was delivered life (58,3%).

Abstract

L’enseignement de la langue française à l’école professionnelle  (SMK) réfère toujours au programme du lycée en raison de l'absence du programme de la langue française destiné particulièrement pour les écoles professionnelles. Les élèves en formation professionnelle devraient obtenir des matériaux spéciaux de l'hôtellerie française qui comprend dans le FOS (Français de l’Objectifs Spécifiques), c’est le français pour les fins particulières. La langue française qui comprend dans le FOS s’est attendue de préparer les élèves de communiquer avec les touristes Français et de comprendre la langue utilisée particulièrement dans l’hôtellerie. En raison de l'absence du fiche de l’apprentissage de la langue française qui peut être utilisé comme un guide dans l'apprentissage, ainsi cette recherche à l’objectif majeur de développer un manuel basé sur la matière de l’hôtellerie pour les élèves de l’école professionnelle du programme de l'hôtellerie. Dans le manuel il y a 2 unités. Ce sont Description de l’hôtel dan Réservation. Dans l’unité il y a 4 leçons. Ce sont Bienvenu à l’Hôtel de la Paix, Décrire de l’hôtel, Réserver une chambre, Accueillir les clients et Préparer le départ clients. La méthode utilisée est la méthode de la recherche de développement ou research and development (R & D). Il y a dix étapes dans cette recherche, mais dû au temps limité, j’ai suivi cinq étapes. Ce sont l'analyse du problème, la collection des données, la création du produit, la validation, et la révision. Le résultat de cette recherche est  un manuel. J’ai fait la révision selon validation de l’expert, ce manuel pourrait être utiliser dans l’enseignement à l’école professionnelle. Teaching french in SMK currently are still using the high school curriculum because of the lack of a french curriculum specifically to vocational school. SMK student should obtain special material about check-in and check-out in hotel included in FOS (French for Spesific Purpose) namely France language for special purposes. This subject give an ability to student in communication with French tourists  and understand the language used especially in tourism field. This  research aimes to develop a teaching materials model based on basic material of reception hotel for vocationaly students with concentration of hotel accommodation. Teaching material consist of 2 Units. They are Description de l’hôtel dan Réservation. Each Units consist of 2 lecons. They are Bienvenue à l’Hôtel de la Paix, Décrire de l’hôtel, Réserver une chambre, Accueillir les clients et Préparer le départ clients. The method used in the research and research development method (R&D).  This research should used  ten steps, but I only adopt five steps namely formulate problems, collect the data, make a design of a product, validation, and the revision of design. The results of this research is a book containing material about hotel accomodation. The design of the products were consulted with a french expert to know the deficiency and unprofitableness. I made a revision according to the expert advice.

Abstract

Media as teacher’s support is very helpful to reach the purpose of learning. One of media thatcan be used in french language learning is digital comic. Digital comic or e-comic is a transformation of media technologies that began in the form of print out into digital with the eletronicformat. This research used a Research and Development (R&D) method. According to Sugiyono (2010: 409-427), there are ten steps of the research, but this research is only use five steps,that are formulating potential and problems, collecting the data, making the product design,validating design and design revision.The result of this research is a digital comic media basedof macromedia flash application for reading skill with the theme les hobbies ou les goûts. Thismedia includes two based subjects which in the syllabus curriculum 2006, namely dire ce quel’on aime and dire ce que l’on n’aime pas. Then, in the last step, that media is consulted toFrench expert to revise. After revision from expert’s advice, the media is being validated by theexperts and can be used by teachers in their experiences in the classroom.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe French cultural aspects in French films, to classifyFrench cultural aspects and segments of French films in six themes, and to propose a lessonplans using the segments of French films. It is a descriptive qualitative research. Data source isthree French films: Être et Avoir; Paris, Je T’aime; and Y’aura t’il de la neige à Noël?. Thosedatas are printscreen of French films segments and also the dialogue conversation sentences.I used a documentation methode to collect data. The result shows that it has found 65 segments of French films which contain the French cultural aspects. Those segments are based onCECRL theories about French cultural. There’s also 86 French cultural aspects within the segments, and 89 compatibilities which related from segments to the six themes of French subject.In high school, it can be used into French cultural learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the French TV ads that contains a description ofvalue the characters, and its compatibility with character education in Semarang State University. This study using qualitative descriptive approach. The data in this study are the characteristics of the French in French-language TV ads which are downloaded from the site www.youtube.com. Data collection techniques in this study are techniques of documentation, see,and record. Data analysis technique used is the technique analysis of the message content. Theresults shows that in six French TV ads, there are fourteen characters and habits of the French:polite, willing to help, attentive and loving, vigorously, intelligent, individualistic, adventurous, conscientious or not careless, friendly, disciplined, obedient to the rules, romantic, custombises, and fashionable. Of the French characters and habits of the French appearing, there areeight in accordance with the value of character education in Semarang State University. Thecharacters that correspond to the value are: smart, responsibility, caring, tolerant, democratic,patriotism, firm, and politeness.

Abstract

SMA N 8 Semarang is one of schools using curriculum 2006 named KTSP. The teacherarranged some test to examine student’s reading ability. A good test should be relevant withCompetence Standard, Basic Competence, and also indicator. It is descriptive-qualitative research. The aim of this research is to describe the conformity of France Language readingtest (is used in SMA N 8 Semarang) with Competence Standard, Basic Competence, andindicator. The object of this research is the item of reading test. This research used reading testquestion which is used in SMA N 8 Semarang made by French teacher in this school as thedata resource. Reading test consist of test 1, test 2, test 3,and final exam. This research useddocumentation technique to collect the data. The data were analyzed using content analysistechnique. The result shows that among 141 items of reading test, 102 points (72,34%) areconform to Competence Standard, Basic Competence and also indicator. 39 points (27,65%)were not conformed to Competence Standard, Basic Competence and also indicator

Abstract

Dans le cours de la Maitrise de la langue Avancée, les étudiants apprennent quatre compétences de langue en utilisant le manuel Le Nouveau Taxi! 3 qui est approprié du niveau de DELF B1. L’un des matériaux dans Le Nouveau Taxi! 3 est l’argumentation pour persuader des gens. Pour cela, Il faut un test pour savoir la capacité des étudiants à écrire un texte argumentatif. L’objectif de cette recherche est de (1) décrire la capacité des étudiants de la 6è semestre à écrire un texte argumentatif. (2) Décrire les erreurs de la redaction de rédiger du texte argumentatif. C’est une recherche descriptive quantitative. Les répondants de cette recherche est les étudiants de la 6è semestre qui apprennent le cours de la Maitrise de la Langue Avancée.Pour collecter les données, on utilise la méthode du test et de la documentation. Cette recherche utilise la validité du contenu et la fiabilité de l'instrument utilise la formule de corrélation Product-moment. Les résultats de l'analyse des données montrent que (1) la capacité des étudiants du sixième semestre à écrire le texte argumentatif est dans la catégorie suffisante parce que la note moyenne note est de 61.26. La meilleure note est de 78.57 et puis le pire est de 42.82. (2) Les pluparts d’erreurs par les etudiants sont le propos et la proposition. Through the course of Maitrise de la langue Avancée, students learn four language skills using Le Nouveau Taxi ! 3. Writing is an important activity in language skills to illustrate ideas to persuade the other trough writing. One of the materials contained in Le Nouveau Taxi! 3 is argumentation to persuade others. So, It need to take a test to determine the ability of students to write an argumentative text. This study aims to (1) Describe the ability of 6th semester student to write an argumentative text (2) Describe the errors made by students in the French-language of the sixth semester writing argumentative texte based on argumentif writing criteria. The population of this research is sixth-semester students who take course Maitrise de la langue Avancée, the research respondent there are 30 students. The method used to collect the data is the test method and the documentation method. This research uses the validity of the content and the reliability of the instrument used the product-moment correlation formula. The data was analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. The results of the data analysis shows that (1) the ability to write sixth semester students to write the argumentative text are in the sufficient category because the average mark is 61.26. The highest rating is 78.57 and then the lowest score is 42.82. (2) The most errors are le propos and la proposition.

Abstract

L’objectif majeur de cette recherche est de décrire les éléments de la publicité aidant les apprenants du sixième semestre à comprendre la culture dans la publicité télévisée. C’est une recherche descriptive comprenant 20 répondants du sixième semestre au programme pédagogique du français. La recherche utilise trois publicités télévisées française : Renault Twingo, Rustique et Orange Surprise. Les méthodes utilisées dans cette recherche sont la documentation et le test. La documentation est utilisée pour avoir les informations sur les répondants et le test est utilisé pour savoir la compétence des étudiants à comprendre la culture présentée dans la publicité télévisée française, et les éléments aidant les apprenants au processus de compréhension. Dans cette recherche j’utilise la validité de construct pour avoir la validité de l’instrument et j’utilise la méthode test-retest pour tester la fiabilité de l’instrument de cette recherche. Le résultat du test montre que 45% des répondants peuvent comprendre la moitié de la culture de la publicité télévisée française. Il y a trois éléments qui aident les apprenants à comprendre la culture dans les publicités. Ce sont la parole d’acteur, l’image, et la musique. Mais l’élément le plus dominant est l’image. The main objective of this research is to describe the element of advertising helping sixth-semester students to understand French culture in French television advertising. It is a descriptive research with 20 sixth-semester respondents of French educative program. This research uses three French television ads: Renault Twingo, Rustique and Orange Surprise. The methods used in this research are documentation and test. The documentation is used to have the information about the respondents and the test used to know the competence of the students to understand the culture presented in the French television advertising, and the elements helping the students in the comprehension process. In this research I use the validity of construct to have the validity of the instrument and I use the test-retest method to test the reliability of the instrument of this research. The test result shows that 45% of respondents can understand the culture of French TV advertising. There are three elements that support learners to understand culture in advertisements. These are the actor's word, the image, and the music. But the most dominant element is the image.
