Abstract

Berbagai macam bahan tambah telah sering dilakukan dalam upaya peningkatan mutu beton agar semakin tinggi dengan memanfaatkan bahan-bahan alternatif yang mudah didapat sehingga pembuatan beton menjadi ekonomis. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan limbah cangkang kelapa sawit pada campuran beton ringan, dimana cangkang kelapa sawit digunakan sebagai pengganti agregat kasar baik sebagian maupun keseluruhan dengan tujuan untuk mendapat pengaruh cangkang kelapa sawit pada pembuatan beton ringan, agregat kasar dengan cangkang kelapa sawit yang diharapkan dengan pemanfaatan limbah cangkang sawit ini akan mampu meningkatkan kuat tekan beton. Proses penggantian cangkang kelapa sawit ini yaitu dengan cara perhitungan terhadap volume agregat kasar. Variasi persentase cangkang kelapa sawit terhadap volume agregat kasar di dalam campuran adalah cangkang kelapa sawit 25%, cangkang kelapa sawit 50%, cangkang kelapa sawit 75% dan cangkang kelapa sawit 100%. Waktu pengujian kuat tekan beton dilakukan pada umur 14 dan 28 hari berdasarkan SNI 03-2491-2002. Dari hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton pada umur 28 hari diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 23.86 Mpa. Sedangkan hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton pada umur 28 hari menggunakan cangkat sawit pada variasi 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100% memiliki nilai kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar 14,9 MPa, 11,6 MPa, 4,25 MPa, dan 2,73 MPa. Pada variasi 25% didapat kuat tekan beton sebesar 14,9 MPa, ini menunjukan bahwa cangkang kelapa sawit masih dapat digunakan sebagai campuran pada beton non struktural.

Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mengembangkan strategi pemberdayaan ekonomi di wilayah pedesaan Pekanbaru melalui pendekatan sistematis pembinaan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan difokuskan pada upaya mengatasi tantangan struktural seperti keterbatasan modal, rendahnya keterampilan usaha, dan minimnya motivasi ekonomi masyarakat. Melalui serangkaian intervensi berbasis partisipatif, penelitian ini berupaya mentransformasi potensi ekonomi lokal menjadi unit-unit usaha produktif.

Abstract

This research uses methods to find out how and strategies to analyse MSME business opportunities in Balikpapan City and how important business opportunity analysis is in entrepreneurship or doing business. Several MSME business opportunities in Balikpapan City that can be chosen, methods and strategies for analysing business opportunities, as well as predicting MSME business opportunity analysis will be discussed. In this way, the public can understand business opportunity analysis, especially SWOT analysis, and can apply it in their respective MSME business ventures. Analysis of business opportunities influences the business that will be run or the one that wants to be developed. This research aims to identify potential MSME business opportunities in Balikpapan City, analyses effective ways and strategies in conducting business opportunity analysis for MSMEs, assess how important business opportunity analysis is in supporting entrepreneurial and business success, introduce and explain the SWOT analysis method as an analytical tool business opportunities, providing guidance to the public regarding the application of business opportunity analysis in developing MSME businesses, as well as evaluating the influence of business opportunity analysis on the success and development of MSMEs in Balikpapan City.

Abstract

The establishment of the ex-officio position in Batam, as mandated by Government Regulation Number 62 of 2019, created a unique governance structure in the Batam Business Board, held by the Mayor of Batam. This research investigates the impact of this governance model on economic growth and its potential influence on employee job satisfaction within the framework of the Batam Free Trade Zone and Free Port. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the study encompasses both quantitative analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via PLS software and qualitative insights through Resource Interviews. A total population of 444 was considered, with a sample of 221 respondents derived using the Slovin formula. Findings from the research demonstrate a substantial joint or simultaneous influence of the variables Ex Officio Leadership, Organizational Culture, Loyalty, and Organizational Commitment on Job Satisfaction. The study highlights the significant role of Ex Officio Leadership in shaping economic outcomes and employee satisfaction in Batam, proposing that such governance models could help reconcile the operational dualities between government and business entities in the region.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of organizational culture, job performance, motivation, and transformational leadership on employee performance at Cut Mutia General Hospital in North Aceh, with the role of organizational culture as a mediating variable and the role of organizational capacity as a moderating variable. This study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods with a sample size of 250 participants. Information was collected using questionnaires and interviews. The analysis method used is the SEM-PLS model using Smart-PLS and Nvivo qualitative tools. The research findings show that organizational culture, competence, work motivation, and transformational leadership have a significant impact on employee performance and work-related performance. Employee performance has a significant impact on employee work-life balance. This study also indicated that work-related stress is a mediator of transformational leadership, competencies, work motivation, and organizational culture in relation to employee performance. In addition, organizational capacity facilitates communication among employees.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the effect of water temperature on the physiological condition and growth performance of freshwater eel elver Anguilla bicolor bicolor (McClelland, 1844). This study was conducted in March 2017 at the Physiology Laboratory of Aquatic Animal, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bogor Agricultural University. The study used a completely randomized design with five different levels of temperature (22°C, 24°C, 26°C, 28°C, and 30°C) as treatments with two replications. The size of elver was 2‒3 g. Fish were fed with 1 mm pellet containing 45% of protein. The feeding level was 7 % of fish biomass and the feeding frequency was two times a day. The results showed that temperatures range from 24‒30°C could be used for freshwater eel elver rearing and 28‒30°Cwere the best temperatures to support survival and growth performance of eel elver. A temperature of 24°C was the best temperature that could reduce the metabolism rate and did not cause stress on the elver. Keywords: elver, physiological conditions, growth performance, metabolism, temperature  ABSTRAK Penelitian dengan tujuan menganalisis pengaruh suhu terhadap kondisi fisiologis dan kinerja pertumbuhan elver ikan sidat (Anguilla bicolor bicolor McClelland, 1844) telah dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2017 di Laboratorium Fisiologi Hewan Air FPIK IPB. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan lima perlakuan suhu berbeda (22°C, 24°C, 26°C, 28°C, dan 30°C) dengan masing-masing dua ulangan. Ukuran benih yang digunakan 2‒3 g. Pakan yang diberikan berupa pellet berukuran 1 mm dengan kadar protein 45%. Jumlah pakan yang diberikan (FR) adalah 7% dari biomassa ikan dan diberikan dua kali sehari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kisaran suhu 24‒30°C dapat digunakan dalam pemeliharaan elver ikan sidat, dan suhu 28‒30°C merupakan suhu yang sangat baik untuk mendukung kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan elver ikan sidat. Suhu media 24°C adalah suhu terbaik yang dapat menekan laju metabolisme dengan tidak menyebabkan stres pada elver ikan sidat. Kata kunci: elver, kondisi fisiologis, kinerja pertumbuhan, metabolisme, suhu

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of work practice in preparing Makassar State University students for the world of work, as well as improve their soft skills in communication, discipline, teamwork, and domain-specific knowledge at the Center for Fish Quarantine, Quality Control, and Fishery Product Safety (BB KIPM) as the implementation of the MBKM Curriculum. The four-month research used a descriptive quantitative approach combined with experimental methods, surveys, and in-depth observations to analyze opportunities, challenges, and the impact of work practices on students' soft skills, such as communication, discipline, teamwork, and field-specific knowledge. The findings show that the internship program significantly improves students' practical skills, soft skills, and readiness for the workforce, providing valuable experience in modern laboratory techniques, occupational safety, and industry-specific management practices.

Abstract

Pengembangan daerah rawa di Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang merupakan daerah rawan genangan air perlu mendapat perhatian khusus. Kawasan ini memiliki potensi sumber daya lahan yang besar dari sektor pertanian, perkebunan peternakan dan budidaya perikanan. Pada saat terjadi intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi, akses jalan daerah ini rusak parah disebabkan lemahnya daya dukung tanah pada lapis tanah dasar (subgrade) tanahnya memiliki kohesifitas tinggi/ tanah lunak. Penggunaan bahan-bahan stabilizing agent, dapat memperbaiki sifat mekanik dari tanah lunak dan meningkatkan daya dukungnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode stabilisasi kimiawi dengan berbagai variasi campuran additive petrasoil dan kapur, yang mana penelitian sebelumnya yang hanya menggunakan bahan additive petrasoil menyebabkan penurunan terhadap nilai CBR tanah, namun pada beberapa proyek jalan petrasoil masih terus digunakan dengan campuran bahan lain, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian ini dengan mencampurkan additive petrasoil bahan tambah lain seperti kapur untuk mendapatkan pengaruh petrasoil terhadap peningkatan nilai CBR.  Persentase campuran kapur adalah 10%, 15%, 20% dengan tambahan petrasoil sebesar 1 kg yang dilarutkan dalam 1000 liter air.  Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan  penambahan petrasoil dan kapur sebagai bahan tambah pada tanah rawa dengan klasifikasi tanah lempung dapat meningkatkan nilai CBR dari 1,55%  pada keadaan tanah asli menjadi 7,88% pada kondisi tanah yang distabilisasi menggunakan petrasoil dan kapur 20%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of work motivation, work discipline and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. PLN (Persero) Tanjungpinang Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3). The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The type of data used in this research is primary data. The respondents of this research are employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjungpinang took 108 samples using a saturated sampling technique. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires using the SEM-PLS Version 3.0 application. The results of this research found that partially the work motivation and work discipline variables did not have a significant influence on job satisfaction, but the work environment variables had a significant influence on job satisfaction among PT employees. PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjungpinang. On the other hand, work motivation, work environment and job satisfaction variables have a significant influence on performance, but work discipline variables do not have a significant influence on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjungpinang. Interveningly, the variables of motivation and work discipline do not have a significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction, only work environment variables have a significant influence on employee performance through employee job satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Tanjungpinang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of career development, work environment and self-efficacy on organizational commitment with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Bank Riau Kepri Syariah in Batam City. Data were collected using a questionnaire and distributed to 142 respondents. Statistical data analysis uses SEM-PLS (structural equation modeling partial least squares) and uses path analysis to test relationship patterns that reveal the influence of variables on other variables, both direct and indirect. The research results show that career development directly has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, but not significantly on job satisfaction. The work environment directly has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, but not significantly on organizational commitment. Self-efficacy directly has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction directly has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, but does not mediate the effect of career development on organizational commitment. Job satisfaction mediates the influence of the work environment and self-efficacy on organizational commitment.
