Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of administration and concentration of using moringa leaf extract on Aeromonas hydrophila bacterial infection in tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The benefit of this study is to provide information that the use of moringa leaf extract as an inhibitor of Aeromonas hydrophila bacterial infection in tilapia. The research method used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions for each treatment, as for the treatment used namely the use of moringa leaf extract 0 mg/l (K), 50 mg/l (A), 65 mg/l (B) dan 80 mg/l (C). The variables observed in this study were fish behavior, fish morphology, fish gills, fish survival, and water quality parameters (temperature, pH, DO and ammonia). Data was processed using the SPSS program with the Kruskal-Wallis H analysis technique and then the PostHoc test was carried out. The results showed that the administration of moringa leaf extract had an effect on tilapia in inhibiting Aeromonas hydrophila bacterial infection in tilapia where the best use of the extract was 80 mg/l (C) with changes in anatomy, morphology and behavior of fish which were getting better after administration of the extract.

Abstract

Pertanian merupakan sektor penting dalam peranan menopang perekonomian nasional, khususnya di Wilayah pedesaan. Desa Panakukkang yang terletak di Kabupaten Gowa, memiliki beberapa sumber daya alam yang melimpah yaitu buah-buahan tropical salah satunya buah mangga. Buah mangga matang seringkali tidak termanfaatkan dan hanya dibuang, kondisi ini mengindikasikan perlunya adanya upaya pengolahan pangan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah hasil pertanian lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengolahan mangga menjadi selai kepada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Desa Panakkukang Kabupaten Gowa. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari survey lapangan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabidan kepada masyarakat (PKM) menunjukkan antusiasme dan semangat dari Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) dalam memperoleh keterampilan baru, dan mampu memproduksi selai dari buah mangga yang sebelumnya belum diolah menjadi produk pangan. Pengolahan buah mangga menjadi selai mangga berpotensi menjadi sumber ekonomi kreatif yang dapat ditingkatkan dari perorangan, kelompok dan skala indsutri.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kesehatan prakonsepsi merupakan strategi untuk menurunkan risiko kehamilan dan meningkatkan luaran maternal-neonatal melalui skrining faktor risiko prakonsepsi.  Namun demikian pengetahuan dan layanan skrining prakonsepsi oleh kader posyandu sebagai garda terdepan layanan berbasis komunitas masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, perlu penguatan kapasitas kader dalam skrining prakonsepsi untuk menjembatani kesenjangan layanan prakonsepsi di komunitas.Metode: Evaluasi pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan desain one-group pretest–posttest. Kader Posyandu aktif Desa Ciakdu Kecamatan Nusaherang Kabupaten Kuningan Provinsi Jawa Barat sebanyak 35 orang. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama satu hari dengan menggunakan modul dan lembar ceklis. Pengetahuan diukur menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji paired t-test.Hasil: Rerata skor pengetahuan meningkat dari 6,0857 (SD = 1,0675) pada pretest menjadi 8,2000 (SD = 1,6592) pada posttest dengan perbedaan bermakna (p < 0,001).Kesimpulan: Pelatihan skrining prakonsepsi efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan kader Posyandu. Temuan ini mengisi celah bukti terkait penguatan kapasitas kader untuk prakonsepsi di level komunitas dan mendukung integrasi skrining prakonsepsi pada layanan kesehatan primer di komunitas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of the community and stakeholders regarding the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) funded by the Regional Budget (APBD) in Penajam Paser Utara Regency. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of key informants, including school principals, teachers, and Education Office officials. The results show that, in general, the informants have a positive perception of the MBG Mandiri program as a strategic policy of the local government in improving the nutritional quality of students and supporting the achievement of human development goals. This program is considered to have a direct impact on increasing student motivation, participation, and awareness of the importance of healthy eating in the school environment. However, the implementation of the program still faces several obstacles, such as limited healthy kitchen facilities, human resource readiness, and differences in managerial capabilities between schools. In addition, the effectiveness of the program is highly dependent on the transparency of APBD management, cross-sector coordination, and active community participation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen governance, increase the capacity of implementers, and establish a sustainable evaluation mechanism so that the MBG Mandiri program can run more effectively and sustainably. The results of this study are expected to provide input for local governments in formulating more participatory and equitable public policies in the field of school children's nutrition.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kampung Nelayan adalah pemukiman di Kecamatan Medan Belawan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Permasalahan yang didapat dari Mitra adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat Kampung Nelayan dalam mengolah kerang simping menjadi produk bernilai tambah seperti kerupuk, serta kekurangan pengetahuan dalam hal branding, kemasan, dan teknik pemasaran produk. Solusi dalam pengabdian ini mencakup pelatihan dalam pembuatan kerupuk, pengembangan kemasan produk, strategi promosi melalui media sosial, serta penerapan sistem manajemen produksi dan keuangan yang efisien. Solusi ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan mitra dalam aspek hardskill terkait usaha makanan dan manajemen, sehingga dapat menciptakan nilai tambah yang berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat Kampung Nelayan. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan mitra sebesar 40% setelah mengikuti program ini. Dengan peningkatan pengetahuan ini, diharapkan mitra dapat lebih siap dan mampu mengembangkan usaha kerupuk simping mereka dengan lebih baik dan berkelanjutan. Program ini melibatkan sebanyak 25 orang peserta untuk acara sosialisasi, yang merupakan bagian dari upaya untuk meningkatkan pendapatan tambahan masyarakat Kampung Nelayan, terutama kelompok nelayan.Abstract: Fishermen's Village is a settlement in Medan Belawan District, North Sumatra Province. The problems encountered by Mitra are the lack of understanding and skills of the Fishermen's Village community in processing simping shellfish into value-added products such as crackers, as well as a lack of knowledge in terms of branding, packaging and product marketing techniques. The solutions in this service include training in making crackers, developing product packaging, promotional strategies via social media, as well as implementing efficient production and financial management systems. This solution aims to empower partners in hard skill aspects related to food business and management, so that they can create sustainable added value for the Nelayan Village community. Based on the evaluation carried out, there was an increase in partner knowledge by 40% after participating in this program. With this increase in knowledge, it is hoped that partners will be better prepared and able to develop their simping cracker business better and more sustainably. This program involved as many as 25 participants for an outreach event, which was part of an effort to increase additional income for the Fishermen's Village community, especially fishermen groups.

Abstract

This study systematically examines the role of zakat in promoting sustainable finance and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study identifies, analyzes, and synthesizes various empirical studies and national data related to zakat’s contribution to economic, social, and environmental development. Zakat, as an Islamic social finance instrument, has great potential in strengthening the inclusive financial ecosystem and supporting community welfare. The literature review shows that zakat plays a significant role not only as a financial instrument for redistributing prosperity but also as a catalyst for sustainable development through environmental conservation, economic empowerment, enhanced social resilience, and increased financial inclusion. The integration of zakat into the sustainable finance policy framework has been proven to support the achievement of several SDGs, particularly the goals of poverty eradication (SDG 1), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and inequality reduction (SDG 10). Therefore, zakat’s potential can be optimized through good governance, digital innovation, and cross-sector collaboration is a strategic key to accelerate the realization of sustainable finance and achieve the SDGs in Indonesia

Abstract

The development of the new capital city, IKN Nusantara, has a significant impact on surrounding buffer areas, including Samboja and Samboja Barat, which are projected to become gateways for economic mobility, labor supply, and strategic supply chains that support the capital city. This study aims to explore and understand the dynamics, challenges, potentials, and capacity-building needs of MSMEs in responding to emerging economic opportunities generated by IKN development. This research applies a qualitative exploratory approach through written responses, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that MSMEs possess substantial local potential, such as raw material availability, unique products, and expanding market prospects, yet continue to face limitations in access to capital, digital literacy, managerial skills, business legalization, and market competition. The study concludes that MSMEs require a comprehensive support ecosystem through capacity strengthening, strategic partnerships, and responsive policies to enable their role as economic pillars in the buffer areas of IKN. Recommendations include continuous mentoring, business digitalization, and the establishment of collaborative MSME networks across Samboja and Samboja Barat.

Abstract

Denpasar City, as the economic and administrative center of Bali Province, faces significant disaster risks due to its geographical location and rapid urbanization. This study aims to identify and map residential areas located in disaster-prone zones in Denpasar and to formulate appropriate disaster mitigation strategies. A spatial analysis approach was employed, utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to overlay settlement distribution maps with multi-hazard disaster-prone maps (tsunami, earthquake, liquefaction, and flood) obtained from the Denpasar City Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) and related agency data. The analysis was complemented by field surveys to verify the conditions of affected settlements. The results reveal that a substantial portion of residential areas in Denpasar is situated within high-risk zones. Specifically, settlements in South Denpasar District are highly exposed to tsunami, earthquake, and liquefaction threats, while flood risks are more widespread across West, South, East, and North Denpasar. The findings underscore a critical gap between rapid spatial development and disaster risk considerations. Consequently, this study recommends the integration of disaster risk zoning into spatial planning, the development of disaster-resistant infrastructure, the strengthening of building codes, and the establishment of clear relocation protocols for settlements in the highest-risk areas. The study implies an urgent need for coordinated efforts between the government and communities to enhance urban resilience and minimize potential future losses.

Abstract

Palm oil biomass waste in Indonesia, particularly empty fruit bunches (EFB), presents significant environmental challenges while also offering opportunities for sustainable agriculture. This community service program was conducted at the Labangka Village Hall, Babulu Subdistrict, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan, with the aim of empowering smallholder farmers to convert EFB into microbially enriched biofertilizer and integrate this innovation into local policy frameworks. The program applied a participatory approach through training, hands-on demonstrations, demonstration plots using mung bean (Vigna radiata) as a test crop, and science–policy dialogue involving more than 30 farmers (≥40% women and ≥20% youth). A fertilizer comparison and branding workshop was also conducted to support product commercialization. The results showed increased farmer capacity in biofertilizer production and application, improved soil conditions, enhanced microbial activity, and better plant growth compared to conventional practices. In addition, the initiative facilitated the development of local policy instruments and integration into the Village Government Work Plan (RKP Desa), enabling potential funding through the Village Fund. This program demonstrates a scalable model that integrates technological innovation, community empowerment, and institutional support to promote sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

The village is the smallest government administration device in society. The village becomes a unit in service to the village community through village officials, the service unit is one of the main indicators of the success of the village community, the community satisfaction indicator is the main indicator in producing quality and quality services. The purpose of this study was to find out how satisfied the people of Mekar Sekuntum Village, Teluk Keramat District, Sambas Regency, were in responding to village office services during the service process to the community. Data collection was carried out using the questionnaire method while data analysis used the community satisfaction index (IKM). The research sample is the community of the village of Mekar Sekuntum, Teluk Keramat sub-district, Sambas district, totaling 17 people. The results of this study indicate that the overall score of 69.75 from the indicators tested indicates that the services of the Mekar Sekuntum village office can be said to be GOOD because they are in category B.
