Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work environment and emotional intelligence on employee performance at PT. Agricinal Bengkulu Utara, both partially and simultaneously. The background of this research stems from issues related to an unconducive work environment, high work pressure, and the low ability of some employees to manage emotions and maintain harmonious work relationships. The research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population consists of 215 employees, with a sample of 140 respondents selected using the probability sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) testing. The results showed that: (1) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as evidenced by the value of tcount 5.764 > ttable 1.656 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) emotional intelligence also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a tcount of 2.240 > ttable 1.656 and a significance level of 0.031 < 0.05; (3) simultaneously, the work environment and emotional intelligence significantly affect employee performance with an F significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The questionnaire is valid for variable (X) because the calculated r value is greater than the table r value = 0.1648. The indicator that the question items in the questionnaire are valid is if the calculated r > table r. The table r, which is the fixed value, is 0.1648.

Abstract

This study aims to determine consumer behavior in virtual goods purchasing decisions for online gamers in Bengkulu City. The focus of this study is to determine whether the factors of impulsive buying, irrational buying and wastefulness in virtual goods purchasing decisions for online gamers in Bengkulu City. The method used is a quantitative method where data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 online game users in Bengkulu City. The results of the analysis show that impulsive buying, irrational buying and wastefulness factors have a significant influence on online gamers' interest in virtual goods purchasing decisions in Bengkulu City, with the results of multiple linear regression tests Y = 1.599 + 0.430 X1 + 0.625 X2 + 0.053 X3. The t-test for the impulsive buying variable (X1) shows a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, irrational buying (X2) of 0.000 < 0.05, and waste (X3) of 0.023 < 0.05, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected for the third variable. In addition, the f-test result of 0.000 < 0.05 shows that simultaneously the variables X1, X2, and X3 have a significant effect on Y.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Social Media Marketing (SMM) and User Generated Content (UGC) on Purchase Intention of the local cosmetic brand Y.O.U among Generation Z students at Dehasen University. The research employed a quantitative approach using a purposive sampling technique with 55 respondents who are active Generation Z students. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²) with SPSS version 22. The results indicate that Social Media Marketing has no significant effect on Purchase Intention (significance value 0.103 > 0.05), while User Generated Content has a positive and significant effect (significance value 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence on Purchase Intention with an R² value of 0.872, meaning that 87.2% of the variation in purchase intention can be explained by SMM and UGC. These findings highlight that user-generated content plays a dominant role in shaping Generation Z’s purchase intention toward Y.O.U products, while social media marketing activities need to be further optimized to effectively influence consumers’ buying decisions.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the marketing strategy for Honda motorcycles at PT. Anugerah Kirana Motor, Bengkulu City. The type of research used by the author is qualitative research. The analytical method used in this research is SWOT analysis. The results showed that the company's internal factors consisted of the company's strengths and weaknesses with a total score of each factor that could be broken down into strengths (strengths) owned by PT. The Kirana Motor Award for the City of Bengkulu is 2.84 and the weaknesses are 1.36, so the internal cell of the business factor is 2.84 - 1.36 = 1.48. The company's external factors consist of the company's opportunities and threats with details of the opportunities that the strategy has at 2.2 and for threats it is 1.8, then the external factor cell is 2.2 – 1.8 = 0.4, so it is in cell I in SWOT analysis diagram cell. This indicates that PT. Anugerah Kirana Motor, Bengkulu City, can respond to existing opportunities in an extraordinary way and avoid threats that are in its industrial market.

Abstract

Two-wheeled vehicles such as motorcycles are a necessity for humans in their daily activities. By having a motorbike, we can do activities quickly and easily so that it is not hampered and hindered from work. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of product, price, location and promotion on purchasing decisions for Nmax motorcycles at Yamaha Manna Dealers, South Bengkulu Regency.This type of research is using quantitative research. Quantitative approach is a research method based on the philosophy of potivism, used to examine a particular population or sample. Researchers took non-probability samples selecting several people who were considered to be able to represent the population, which amounted to 45 consumers.The results of the multiple linear regression analysis are Y = 12.344 + 0.101 X1 + 0.390 X2 + 0.132 X3 + 0.104 X4, this describes a positive regression direction, meaning that the product variable (X1), price (X2), location (X3) have a positive influence. on purchasing decisions (Y) at the Yamaha Manna Bengkulu Selatan Dealer. The value of the coefficient of determination from the results of calculations using SPSS can be seen that the value of the coefficient of determination from R square is 0.623. This means that the product value (X1), price value (X2), location (X3) and promotion (X4) affect purchasing decisions (Y) by 62.3% while the remaining 37.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

HR always plays an active and dominant role in every organizational activity, because humans are the planners, actors and determinants of the realization of organizational goals. Work Environment and Motivation are important because with a Work Environment and Motivation every employee will want to work hard and enthusiastically to achieve higher performance. The research objective was to determine whether there was an influence of the Work Environment and Motivation on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of South Bengkulu Regency. This type of research used quantitative research. The quantitative approach is a research method based on the philosophy of potivism, used to examine certain populations or samples. The population in this study were all ASN employees at the Regional Secretariat of South Bengkulu Regency, totaling 112 ASN employees. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis Y = 9.378 + 0.373 X1 + 0.421 X2 this illustrates that the value of the Work Environment (X1) and the value of Motivation (X2) affect employee performance (Y) by 69.6% while the remaining 30.4% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study. From the results of calculations using SPSS, it can be seen that the coefficient of determination of R square is 0.696. This means that the value of the Work Environment (X1) and the value of Motivation (X2) has an effect on employee performance (Y) of 69.6% while the remaining 30.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of efficiency and effectiveness of village fund budget management in Temiang village, Pagar Jati District, Central Bengkulu Regency, whether it is used efficiently in Temiang village and whether it is effective, and to find out what the level of efficiency and effectiveness of village fund budget management is.The results of the research show that budget and village management in Temiang Village, Pagar Jati District, Central Bengkulu Regency is less efficient and less effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the calculation and effect of leadership and organizational culture on employee’s performance at Nippon Paint company branch in Bengkulu City. The analytical method used in the research is the quantitative method. Based on research results, Transformational Leadership has a significant effect on Employee’s Performance because tcount (2.753) is greater than ttable (1.674) with a significant value of 0.008 < 0.05. This illustrates that the better the transformational leadership at Nippon Paint company branch in Bengkulu City, the more employee’s performance will increase. Organizational culture does not have a significant effect on employee’s performance because tcount (0.771) is smaller than ttable (1.674) with a significant value of 0.445 > 0.005. This illustrates that employees at Nippon Paint company branch in Bengkulu City. From the simultaneous test results we can see that there is a significant effect between transformational leadership and organizational culture on the employee’s performance at Nippon Paint company branch in Bengkulu City together because the value of Fcount > Ftable is 4.581 > 3.18 with a significance of 0.015 < 0, 05. From the results of the coefficient of determination test, the R square value is 0.155 or 15.5%. It can be concluded that there is a variable effect on employee’s performance of 15.5%. The remaining 84.5% is effected by variables outside this research.

Abstract

Retail growth business in Bengkulu city is getting attracted. Especially minimarket. The growth of retail business cannot separate from society need who need practice, comfortable and time saving. Retail must be active and always innovate in productivity or service, so they can compete in market place. Consumer who feel comfort with store environment also supported by emotional motivation which can increase impulse buying. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors which influence impulse buying on consumer of Indomaret and Alfamart at Danau Street Panorama Bengkulu. This research was conducted by using questionnaire as the research tool. The samples were taken by using non-probability method with accidental technique, the research was conducted a week on 74 consumers, 37 consumers for each store. Analysis were conducted by using rating scale, it is a raw data which obtained then being read in qualitative understanding. The result of this research shows that dominant factors influencing impulse buying on consumers of Indomaret and Alfamart is Elaborate Package displays factor the score 655 for Indomaret and 660 for Alfamart, the second factor is Product samples with the score 645 for Indomaret and 631 for Alfamart, the third factor is store promotional material for consumer with a score of 608 for Indomaret and Place based for media for Alfamart score is 627. The last factor or the lowest which influence Impulse Buying for consumer is Place base media factor for Indomaret with the score of 603 and Store promotional material factor for Alfamart with the score of 614.

Abstract

The Purpose of this study to Measure the Effect of Compensation towards the Performance of Civil Servants in the Regional Civil Service Agency and the Human Resources Development of Kaur Regency. Data collection used is the questionnaire method by distributing a list of questions to respondents. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis with simple linear regression analysis with manual calculations. The results of this study are that compensation affects the performance of civil servants in the Regional Civil Service Agency and the Human Resources Development of Kaur Regency. Results H1 was accepted. The percentage value of the effect of compensation on performance in this study was 24.15%. This is because the R square value obtained is 0.2415.
