Abstract

This paper focuses on group’s understanding of amar makruf nahi mungkar . This is a descriptive research that has goal to giving the deep picture of the particular social phenomenon or the certain aspects of life in the communities studied.  The Amar makruf nahi mungkar is a term that is introduced by al-Qur’an which means the explanation of Muslim’s obligation to conduct good deeds as well as to avoid for doing misconducts. The Islamic defenders front (FPI) is a Muslim community organization which is widely known in Indonesian society. This is due to their impressive acts of violence in combating immorality and sweeping entertainment venues. The establishment of FPI is as a response toward social and political circumstances in Indonesia, which not in line with Muslim’s interests. The implementation of syari’ah in Indonesia, either substantially or even formalistically, is the main goal FPI wants to gain. From various ways in applying the objectives, FPI tends to advocating the amar makruf nahi mungkar way, that is, systematic efforts on asking Muslim in order to obey the religious commends comprehensively, and to prevent Muslim from falling into activities damaging moral and Islamic belief. FPI demands to impose syari’ah has been challenged from many elements in society. Rizieq argues that the challengers of syari’ah may be divided into two typologies. The first is people who is phobia with Islam and secondly, those who reject due to their ignorance of syari’ah. To avoid the negative image, FPI as a radical movement should promote the notion of jihad correctly and in accordance with Islamic thoughts as well as doing the continuous reading of the prophet’s history.

Abstract

The emergence of exclusive and intolerant religious narratives in the digital space has the potential to erode the multicultural spirit in Indonesia. In the context of da'wah, such a reality requires effective strategies as an effort to prevent and minimize division. However, the situation in various da'wah spaces still shows partiality, meaning the da'wah message is not delivered in accordance with the cultural, social, and digital literacy conditions of the audience. This remains a challenge to be addressed in da'wah, especially in cyberspace. Based on this reality, this study aims to examine the concept of inclusive da'wah as a strategy capable of accommodating differences and preventing religious exclusivism in cyberspace. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The results show that inclusive da'wah in the digital realm is conducted based on constructive, educational, participatory, and contextual communication. Inclusive da'wah in the virtual world can be applied to digital media such as social media, YouTube, podcasts, blogs, and websites. This research has implications for the development of a more inclusive and responsive digital da'wah model.

Abstract

Conventional ceramic tile glazes typically require firing temperatures above 1180°C, leading to high energy consumption and production costs. Despite extensive studies on composition and crystallization, integrated optimization of oxide balance, crystallization kinetics, and energy efficiency at reduced temperatures remains limited. This study aims to develop and optimize SiO₂–TiO₂–B₂O₃–ZnO glass-ceramic coatings through a combined experimental and data-driven approach to achieve enhanced mechanical performance at lower sintering temperatures. A series of compositions were formulated using locally sourced raw materials and sintered at 1080–1160°C. The crystallization behavior was first characterized using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and fitted with the Johnson–Mehl–Avrami–Kolmogorov (JMAK) kinetic model. Phase evolution and microstructure were examined through X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Mechanical and optical performance were evaluated via Vickers microhardness testing, gloss measurement, and bulk density analysis. Multivariate regression and energy-performance correlation analysis were conducted using MATLAB. The results demonstrate that increasing TiO₂ content promotes heterogeneous nucleation, lowering crystallization peak temperature from 785°C to 725°C and increasing enthalpy release from 48 to 64 J/g. The Avrami exponent (n = 1.75–1.95) indicates three-dimensional crystal growth with mixed nucleation mechanisms. Vickers hardness improved from 515 HV to 670 HV with increasing TiO₂ concentration, while gloss moderately decreased due to enhanced crystalline fraction. The optimal composition (55 mol% SiO₂, 8 mol% TiO₂, 2 mol% B₂O₃, 2 mol% ZnO) achieved 648 HV, 63 GU, and a 12% reduction in firing energy, demonstrating the feasibility of energy-efficient coating design.

Abstract

Abstract: Infrastructure projects are always faced with uncertainty and risks, both from within and outside the project, including drainage projects. An understanding of the sources and impacts of risks is required for construction implementers to minimize the negative effects of these risks. One of the impacts commonly experienced by construction companies is the emergence of cost overruns, which can potentially lead to project failure. This study aimed to analyze the impact of risk on cost for external factors in the implementation of drainage projects in Aceh Province in 2021. Employing a mixed-method approach, primary data were gathered through the distribution of questionnaires to 52 respondents actively engaged in project implementation. The questionnaire was designed to collect information on the impact of risk on costs for 3 external factors, namely social (2 variables), government policy (2 variables), and disaster (4 variables). The impact of risks was assessed using the severity index (SI) analysis. The findings revealed eight external risk variables exerting an influence on the cost of implementing drainage projects in Aceh Province in 2021. The most substantial impact on cost was categorized as "moderate" and manifested in two variables: uncertain weather conditions (SI = 0.400) and flooding (SI = 0.388). Understanding the potential impact of risks on project costs, especially those originating from external factors, will make it easier for contractors to plan risk mitigation and ensure the project is completed on target.
