Abstract

Abstract

his study aims to analyze the influence of capital structure, financial performance, and macroeconomic conditions on firm value (Tobin's Q) in companies included in the Kompas 100 index (100 companies with good liquidity and large market capitalization) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2018 and 2022. A total of 50 companies with historical data for 5 years were analyzed amounting to 250 observational data. The data analysis method used is panel data regression analysis processed using Eviews software version 10. The results show that financial performance has a significant positive effect on firm value, and capital structure has a negative but not significant effect on firm value. Among the macroeconomic variables, inflation has a negative influence while interest rates have a positive influence, both of which are significant on firm value. However, GDP growth shows an influence that is not significant towards changes in firm value. The determinants of firm value are very complex thus each company needs to identify the key factors influencing them. It is recommended for further research to include corporate governance and firm growth variables.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of storytelling on social media as a moderating variable in the relationship between Muslim tourists' emotional experiences and their intention to revisit halal tourism destinations. With the growing Muslim population and increasing purchasing power, the halal tourism industry has significant growth potential. However, to capitalize on this potential, a better understanding of the factors influencing Muslim tourists' experiences and behavior is needed. Using a quantitative approach and structural equation modeling, this research examines the impact of storytelling on social media on the relationships between halal destination attributes, halal-friendly services, emotional experiences, and revisit intentions. The analysis results demonstrate that storytelling on social media significantly moderates the relationship between emotional experiences and revisit intentions, strengthening the influence of emotional experiences on post-visit behavioral intentions. These findings contribute to the advancement of tourism marketing and consumer behavior theories, as well as provide practical implications for the halal tourism industry in designing effective marketing strategies through social media storytelling.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are industries that play a major role in the Indonesian economy, are the largest absorbers of labour and have a significant contribution to the GDP. However, MSME's key role in GDP does not exclude the possibility of bankruptcy. This research analysed four factors influencing financial behaviour: financial literacy, age, educational level, financial planning, and the ability to manage finance as a moderation variable. Financial behaviour is an essential thing that can be done to advance an ongoing business and to organise, process, and plan the finances of an enterprise. This study will examine the impact of financial literacy, educational level, age, and financial planning on MSME's financial behaviour in Indonesia. Using SPSS, the study tested the relationship between independent and dependent variables with moderation variables to support the developed hypothesis. The data collection method uses a questionnaire with a total of 294 respondents. Financial literacy, education, and financial planning had a positive impact, while age had a negative impact.
