Abstract

                                                  AbstractThis study aims to improve student learning outcomes and activities, using the numbered head together (NHT) model aided by question cards on material momentum and impulses. This research is in the form of a Classroom Action Research (CAR) participant with the CAR model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which was conducted in two (2) cycles. Each cycle consist of three (3) stages, namely planning, action and observation, and reflection. Learning outcomes tests and observation sheets of learning activities were given to 33 students in class X MIA 1 of Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Pontianak in the 2018/2019 school year. After the NHT model was applied, the student learning outcome scores increased by 0.2 and learning activities increased by 8%. The NHT model can be applied to all subjects and all age levels of students because the NHT model provides opportunities for students to share ideas and consider the most appropriate answers, and can encourage students to improve their spirit of cooperation.Keywords : Learning Activities, Learning Outcomes, Momentum dan Impulses, NHT

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian korelasional ini menganalisis konsep-konsep matematika yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan soal fisika, serta mengukur hubungan antara keduanya pada materi gerak parabola di MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. Sampel penelitian adalah Sampel Jenuh yaitu, 22 orang siswa kelas XI IPA. Instrumen penelitian berupa dua tes esai yaitu tes kemampuan matematika dan tes kemampuan menyelesaikan soal fisika. Masing-masing terdiri dari 8 butir soal. Koefisien reliabilitas kedua tes berturut-turut adalah = 0,68 dan = 0,66. Ditemukan tiga konsep matematika yang diperlukan dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika pada materi gerak parabola yaitu: konsep aritmatika, konsep aljabar dan konsep trigonometri. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kemampuan matematika dan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal fisika dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar  0,55. Implikasinya, dalam pembelajaran fisika perlu dipertimbangkan  kemampuan matematika para siswa.   Kata kunci:    Korelasional, Kemampuan Matematika, Kemampuan Menyelesaikan Soal Fisika, Gerak Parabola Abstract: This correlational study was conducted to analyse mathematics concepts in solving physics problem and relationship between them about parabolic motion at MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. A total 22 students were selected from class XI IPA by using statured sampling. The data collection used two essay tests; a mathematics ability test (of 8-item) and a physics problem solving ability test (of 8-item). The reliability coefficients of the tests consecutively were = 0,68 dan = 0,66. Findings revealed there are three necessary mathematics concepts in solving physics problems: arithmetic concepts, algebra concepts and trigonometry concepts. Correlational analysis indicated that there is a positive relationship between mathematics ability and students?abilities to solve physics problem (r = 0.55). The implication is the students?mathematical abilities to be considered in teaching-learning physics. Abstract

Lesson Study ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil dan proses perkuliahan Fisika Inti pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Tanjungpura. Lesson Study merupakan suatu model untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru atau dosen dalam melaksanakan tugasnya melalui kegiatan pengkajian proses pembelajaran secara kolaboratif. Pelaksanaan Lesson Study memiliki tiga tahap yaitu : Plan (merencanakan kegiatan perkuliahan); Do (pelaksanaan perkuliahan dengan dihadiri observer); dan See (diskusi dan refleksi proses perkuliahan). Penelitian ini menerapkan perkuliahan multimodel dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi perkuliahan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hasil dan proses perkuliahan. Hasil perkuliahan mahasiswa meningkat dari rata-rata 49,25 % menjadi 78,75 %. Jadi secara umum pelaksanaan Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kualitas perkuliahan Fisika Inti pada program studi Pendidikan Fisika. Kata kunci : lesson study, fsika inti

Abstract

Implementasi Problem Posing ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran Fisika siswa SMA di sekolah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan setting Lesson Study. Pelaksanaan Lesson Study memiliki tiga tahap yaitu : Plan (merencanakan kegiatan pembelajaran); Do (pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas dengan dihadiri observer); dan See (diskusi dan refleksi proses pembelajaran). Lesson Study dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus di SMAN 7 dan SMAN 4 Pontianak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi perkuliahan dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Hasil angket dan wawancara siswa menunjukkan peningkatan minat siswa yaitu 78,94 % pada siklus I dan 80,00 % pada siklus II. Jadi secara umum pelaksanaan Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan minat siswa pada bidang studi Fisika. Kata kunci : lesson study, problem posing

Abstract

This research is aimed to investigate the influence of implementing physic?s test questions with picture to senior high school students for the increasing of physic students? learning outcome. Research is done in four different schools from different regencies in west Borneo by using data collection tools in form of analytical test to the students grade XI. The research is done by comparing the students? test result who has given the analytical test  (verbal representation) and analytical test with picture (verbal representation and picture). Research outcome shows that most of the student learning outcome who has given the test question with picture is higher (11.57) rather than student learning outcome who has given the test question without picture (9.89) . Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of remediation activity through Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) model on misconception among grade XII student’s at SMAN 5 Pontianak. One group pretest-posttest experimental design was used in this study. The population is all students of class XII SMAN 5 Pontianak. The sample was taken by intact group so that it was obtained class XII IPA 3 which have 32 students. The instrument used a diagnostic test which amounted to 9 multiple-choice questions with open reasons. The percentage of decreasing number of students who had misconceptions after being given a misconception remediation with the POGIL model on static fluid was 44%. McNemar test was carried out with a significance level of 5% indicating that there was a significant change in student’s conception after being given remediation activities using the POGIL model. This model is effective in remediating student’s' misconceptions on static fluid with the effect size of 0.428 in the high category according to the Hattie barometer. Abstract

AbstrakThis research aimed to describe the remediation of misconception of light’s concept effectivity of students of SMP PGRI 1 Paloh by mnemonic-based re-learning. The form of the research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. This research involved 29 students of grade VIII A which were taken by using intact group technique. The tool of data collection used was a multiple-choice test with three alternative choices consist of 9 items. Based on the distribution of students which experienced misconception during pretest and posttest, it was found the average percentage was declining in the amount of 38,31%. McNemar test result in 6 items showed  for db = 1 and  while the binomial test result showed 2 items smaller than , so as a whole there was a significant change of conception toward the concept of light. The average of remediation effectivity using mnemonic-based re-learning for every concepts was 53 (category medium). The result of this research was expected to be an alternative when attempting to remediate the misconception the students were having. Keyword:  Remediation, Misconception, Mnemonic, Light

Abstract

AbstractThis research  aims to assess the advisability of higher order thinking skill (HOTS) test of Physics for senior high school students. Specifically, this reseach was conducted to find out the characteristic of the HOTS test and to define the oppropriateprecentage of the test which is based  on the students’ responses. The metode used in this research is Research and Development (R & D). The method uses the stages which was developed by Borg and Gall which have been simplified. The HOTS test is developed basd on the Taxonomy Bloom which has been revised. It consists of 10 test points that have been validated by five physics experts. The experiment was done to 104 XI students from three different schools. The result of the experiment shows that from 10 test points, all of the items are highly correlated as the construct validity with analysis factor test by using SPSS, the level of contents of validity with the mean score 0.737. The validity of the items shows that all of the test items are valid based on SPSS application. The realibility of test items is 0.7, the index of difficulty of the test starts from 0.02 until 0.55, and  the level of legibility is 0.66 which mean all of the items are categorised as good test items. The students’ reponses from the questionnaires result positive with 79.6% for the mean score. Based on these characteristics, the HOTS test can be used to measure the higher order thinking skill of physics for senior high school students. Keywords: test development, HOTS, Harmonic Vibration

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to identify the effectiveness of the implementation ofREACT Learning models assisted by PhET Simulation to improving students problem solving abilities in momentum and impulses material in Senior High School 1 Sungai Ambawang. This research uses pre-experimental design with the design one group pretest-posttest. The samples were students of class X MIPA 1 with total of 30 students chosen by means of intact group.  The students' problem solving abilities were measured using 5 instrument test descriptions. Obtained data problem solving abilities of students before given treatment (pretest) with an average percentage of 13,216% categorized as very less and has increased to 49.25% categorized as sufficient. Wilcoxon statistical test results obtained Asym.sig 2-Tailed of 0,000 (<0.05) which shows that there are significant differences in the students' pretest and posttest results. The effectiveness of the application of the REACT learning model assisted by PhET simulation was calculated by using the Cohen effect size formula and the results obtained were 3.05 and classified as high. The implementation of the REACT learning model assisted by PhET simulation can be used as an alternative in improving students' problem solving abilities, especially about momentum and impulses.Keywords:Momentum and impulses, PhET Simuation, Problem solving abilities,REACT learning models

Abstract

Abstract: This research’s purpose was describing the implementation of curriculum 2013 in Physics learning process in grade X Senior High School Kemala Bhayangkari, Kubu Raya Regency period 2013/2014 qualitatively. Teacher’s perception about Curriculum 2013, the lesson plan, the questionnaire result of student and teacher, and the interview result  with the principal also with teacher were analyzed. The analysis showed that the learning process conducted by the tenth grade Physics teacher was suitably good. Based on the interview, it was found that the principal would support the implementation of curriculum 2013. Hopefully, these findings could be used to maximize the implementation of curriculum 2013. Keywords: The Implementation of Curriculum 2013, Physics Learning Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi Kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran Fisika kelas X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kabupaten Kubu Raya tahun ajaran 2013/2014 secara kualitatif. Pengetahuan/persepsi guru tentang Kurikulum 2013, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), hasil angket peserta didik dan guru, serta hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru dianalisis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru fisika kelas X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari telah sesuai dengan pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 dengan kriteria baik. Hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah menunjukkan ada dukungan kepala sekolah. Diharapkan, hasil dijadikan sarana yang memadai oleh guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 menjadi maksimal.   Kata kunci : Implementasi Kurikulum 2013, Pembelajaran Fisika
