Abstract

Learning Indonesian in elementary school is inseparable from the four language skills namely, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Interest in reading is an important factor in achieving learning outcomes. If the subject matter is not in accordance with students' reading interests, students will not study well. Technological factors, for example, students are willing to spend hours just playing smartphones so that students forget the time to study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using smartphone media on reading interest and Indonesian language learning outcomes for class IV UPT SDN Lambongan No.7 Selayar Islands. The population is all students at UPT SDN Lambongan No.7 Selayar Islands, namely 107 students. This type of research is an experiment using a quantitative approach. The quasi-experimental design model used is the nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The sample in this study was class IVb, totaling 15 people as the control class and class IVa, totaling 15 people as the experimental class. Types of data collection using questionnaires, tests and documentation. Data analysis in this study is the Normality Test and T-Test. In the control class, the results of interest in reading Indonesian for class IV students before using smartphone media , namely with a value of 30 and after using smartphone media , namely with a value of 80. In the experimental class, the results of using smartphone media on student learning outcomes in class IV before the posttest, namely with a value of 62 and after possttest, namely with a value of 100. This value indicates a Minimum Learning Mastery (KBM) of 70 for Indonesian material has been achieved. The results of the t-test for equality of means can be seen = 9.443 from these calculations it can be obtained 9.443 > 2.021 ( > ) and the significance is 0.000 <0.05, it can be said that rejected and accepted can mean that there is an effect of using smartphone media on reading interest and results learning Indonesian. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of smartphone media on reading interest and Indonesian learning outcomes. So, it can be concluded that the use of smartphone media has an influence on reading interest and Indonesian language learning outcomes for class IV UPT SDN Lambongan No.7 Selayar Islands.

Abstract

Based on these problems, the objectives of the study are formulated as follows: (1) To identify the teachings of tolerance according to various religions, and (2) To analyze the perceptions of religious leaders regarding interreligious tolerance and its implementation in the city of Makassar.This study employs a descriptive qualitative and quantitative research design, using sociological, structural-functional phenomenological, and theological approaches. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, with a list of questions distributed to 34 respondents. The results of the study indicate that interreligious tolerance refers to a willingness to accept differences by fostering mutual understanding, mutual respect, and mutual appreciation in the practice of religious teachings, as well as cooperation in social life. Religious teachings that support the realization of interreligious tolerance are generally similar across religions, namely: first, all religions state that religion brings peace; second, all humans are brothers and sisters; third, all acknowledge the existence of other religions; and fourth, all motivate their adherents through various guidelines and examples on how to respect, appreciate, and cooperate with others regardless of their religion. Keywords: Perceptions of Religious Leaders, Interreligious Tolerance, and Its Implementation in the City of Makassar.

Abstract

The tradition of reciting ruqyah verses represents a living practice of the Qur’an within Islamic boarding schools. This practice is not only understood as a spiritual effort, but also as a means of nurturing students’ spiritual development. This study aims to examine the implementation of ruqyah verse recitation at Syifaul Qulub Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya and to analyze the meanings and students’ reception of this practice within the framework of Living Qur’an studies. This research employs a qualitative approach using observation and interviews with pesantren leaders and students. Data analysis is conducted through Ahmad Rafiq’s theory of Qur’anic reception. The findings reveal that the recitation of ruqyah verses is carried out regularly using selected Qur’anic verses without additional ritual practices. The students perceive this tradition as a source of inner tranquility, spiritual protection, and discipline formation. This study concludes that the ruqyah recitation tradition constitutes a form of performative reception of the Qur’an, in which Qur’anic verses are actively lived and practiced in the daily religious life of pesantren students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi integrasi nasional dalam memperkuat ketahanan sosial di wilayah multikultural pascakonflik, dengan studi kasus di Kota Ambon (Maluku) dan Kabupaten Sanggau (Kalimantan Barat). Kedua wilayah ini dipilih karena memiliki latar belakang konflik sosial yang berbeda namun sama-sama merepresentasikan tantangan integrasi dalam konteks keberagaman etnis, agama, dan nilai budaya lokal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan data sekunder yang dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo 12 Plus melalui teknik analisis tematik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nasional di Ambon berhasil didorong oleh sinergi antara intervensi negara, seperti pendidikan damai dan forum kerukunan umat, dan revitalisasi nilai lokal Pela Gandong sebagai instrumen sosial rekonsiliasi. Sebaliknya, di Sanggau, strategi integrasi cenderung bersifat top-down dan belum mengakomodasi secara penuh nilai-nilai hukum adat Dayak, sehingga ketahanan sosial rentan terganggu oleh konflik agraria dan eksklusi budaya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan integrasi nasional sangat bergantung pada pengakuan substantif terhadap nilai lokal serta kolaborasi antara negara dan masyarakat. Rekomendasi mencakup penguatan kebijakan berbasis budaya, desain pendidikan multikultural kontekstual, dan pelibatan aktif lembaga adat dalam proses pembangunan sosial.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to enhance students' critical thinking skills using the Problem Based Learning model in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at SD Negeri 9 Limboto. Classroom Action Research is the method used in this study, whicth consistss of how ciycles, including planing, impllementation, observattion, andreflection. Thisis study was conducted during the 2024/2025 academic year, with 24 fifth-grade students as subjects. The research found that the use of the Problem Based Learning model can significantly stimulate students' critical thinking skills. In the first cycle, 58% of students met the Minimum Completion Criteria with an average score of 70.31%, while in the second cycle, 96% of students exceeded the KKM standard with an average score of 84.35%. This improvement demonstrates the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model in enhancing students' critical thinking skills to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information, as well as fostering enthusiasm among students towards learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu hal yang harus dicapai setiap individu untuk kehidupannya di masa depan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui a) Produk pengembangan media e-modul interaktif berbantuan Nearpod pada materi energi terbarukan kelas X SMAN 10 Makassar b) Tingkat kevalidan media e-modul interaktif berbantuan Nearpod pada materi energi terbarukan kelas X SMAN 10 Makassar c) Tingkat kepraktisan media e-modul interaktif berbantuan Nearpod pada materi energi terbarukan kelas X SMAN 10 Makassar d) Tingkat keefektifan media e-modul interaktif berbantuan Nearpod pada materi energi terbarukan kelas X SMAN 10 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau R&D (Research and Development) dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah pengembangan e-modul interaktif berbantuan nearpod pada materi energi terbarukan yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan atau R&D (Research and Development). Model pengembangan media pembelajaran ini dikembangkan berdasarkan model pengembangan Four-D (Define, Design, Development, Desseminate). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X Mipa 4 SMA Negeri 10 Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai validitas yang diperoleh untuk modul sebesar 0,76. Nilai tersebut berada pada rentang kategori valid. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa e-modul pembelajaran berbantuan nearpod telah valid dan layak digunakan. Tingkat kepraktisan modul didasarkan atas hasil respons pengguna modul oleh guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa e-modul pembelajaran berbantuan nearpod terhadap respon peserta didik berada pada persentase 63,33% sangat Praktis dan 36,67% praktis, sedangkan respon guru sebesar 100% sangat praktis. Tingkat keefektifan modul didasarkan pada hasil belajar dengan persentase 83% peserta didik memperoleh ketuntasan belajar di atas KKM. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul pembelajaran berbantuan nearpod yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMAS Al Bahra Jeneponto yang diajar dan tidak diajar menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan permainan harta karun, serta mengukur pengaruh penerapan model tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain post-test only control group. Sampel terdiri atas kelas X A1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X A2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 73 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 41,75, sedangkan rata-rata minat belajar masing-masing sebesar 65,2 dan 58,3. Uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas, baik pada minat belajar (Asymp. Sig. = 0,001) maupun hasil belajar (Asymp. Sig. = 0,000). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan permainan harta karun efektif meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini antara lain pentingnya integrasi elemen permainan dalam pembelajaran, dukungan terhadap pengembangan teori pembelajaran berbasis permainan, serta perlunya pelatihan bagi guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif di berbagai mata pelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the storytelling method using 3D picture book media on the listening ability of children in the B3 group aged 5-6 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Tello Baru, Makassar city. This type of research is an experimental research method with pre-experimental designs that use the One Group Pretest-posttest design consisting of pretest, treatment and posttest, with the subjects in this study being group B3 children, totaling 10 children. The results of the study are based on the results of calculations using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. In the SPSS program, the Asymp sig (2-tailed) value is 0.003, here the probability is below 0.05 or p <0.05, which means H0 is rejected. In accordance with if the probability (Asymp.sig) < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1, and if the probability (Asymp.sig) > 0.05 then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So there is an effect of the storytelling method using 3D picture book media on the listening ability of group B children aged 5-6 years at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Tello Baru Kindergarten, Makassar city.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practicality of the Indonesian language E-Module of based on contextual for Elementary School Teacher Education students of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar in the learning process. The method used in this study is a type of research & development research using the 4-D (Four-D) development model, which consists of 4 stages of development, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. With a research sample of 50 Elementary School Teacher Education students and 3 samples of lecturers at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Data collection techniques using lecturer response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the implementation of the Indonesian language E-module for general basic courses based on contextual practice is used, this can be seen based on the results of the lecturer response questionnaire with an average value of 100%, 92%, 83% with the category of very practical, and student responses with an average value of 85%, 86%, 88%, 89%, and 91% with the category of very practical. So, it can be concluded that by implementing the Indonesian language E-module for general basic courses based on contextual practice for students, it is very practical to use in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Mattabe’ cultural integrated Pancasila education teaching module in improving student learning outcomes in elementary schools. The research method used was quantitative using an experimental class with a random control group design. The research sample consisted of randomly selected schools in certain areas, with one group receiving learning using Pancasila education teaching modules integrated with Mattabe’ culture to improve learning outcomes and the other group as a control who continued to use teaching modules that were not integrated with Mattabe’ culture. Data was collected through posttest learning outcomes which were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis Test to test significant differences between the two groups. The research results showed that students who studied using the Pancasila education module experienced a significant increase in understanding and academic achievement compared to the control group. These findings support the importance of integrating Mattabe’ culture in education as a strategy to increase the relevance and effectiveness of learning. Sustainable implementation of the Mattabe culture integrated Pancasila education teaching module in improving learning outcomes in elementary schools.
