Abstract

This article discusses the dynamics of acculturation between Islam and Malay culture in a historical perspective, highlighting adat continuity and value transformation. Islamic acculturation in the archipelago did not erase local customs, but rather provided a new foundation based on Islamic values, as reflected in the principle of “adat bersendi syarak, syarak bersendi Kitabullah”. The process of Islam was peaceful through trade, proselytization, education and marriage, with a flexible approach to local culture. Value transformation involved replacing animist and dynamist beliefs with the concept of tawhid, which emphasizes the oneness of God. A Malay-Islamic identity was born from this acculturation, reflected in art, literature, music and customs, creating a unique and harmonious cultural expression. This article concludes that the acculturation of Islam and Malay culture has shaped a rich and diverse civilization, where Islamic values are integrated in Malay cultural life.

Abstract

Islamic education has diverse forms and systems, adapted to the culture, regulations, and educational policies of each country, including Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the comparison between Islamic education from the perspective of international and global education in the contemporary era. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, which reviews literature from various scholarly sources related to Islamic education, educational internationalization, and globalization. The findings indicate that international education focuses on strengthening cross-country collaboration through student exchange, academic cooperation, and the implementation of international curricula. Meanwhile, global education emphasizes the development of multicultural awareness and the reinforcement of identity as global citizens by integrating global values into the education system. Both have a significant impact on the development of modern Islamic education that is responsive to changes over time. These findings highlight the importance of integrating local and Islamic values with the principles of international and global education to create an Islamic education system that is adaptive, competitive, and contextually relevant in addressing global challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Penggunaan Reward Smart Cookies Sticker Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan Reward Smart Cookies Sticker Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Anak Di Tk Kesuma Bangsa Kecamatan Belitang Madang Raya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah sampel 26 anak kelas B1 dan B2 di Tk Kesuma Bangsa Kecamatan Belitang Madang Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, tes. Untuk analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas,uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Ditemukan bahwa dari hasil observasi akhir (posttest) setelah diberikan treatment pada kelas eksperimen anak-anak memperoleh nilai akhir sebesar 1009 dengan rata-rata 78, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol anak memperoleh nilai akhir sebesar 843 dengan rata-rata 65. Diperoleh thitung = 2,62347 sedangkan dk= 13+13-2= 24 dengan taraf signifikan 5% sehingga didapat ttabel =2,07387. Karena thitung ttabel (3,597217459 2,06865761), maka kesimpulan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya ada pengaruh penggunaan Reward smart cookies sticker terhadap motivasi belajar anak di TK Kesuma Bangsa Kecamatan Belitang Madang Raya.Kata kunci: Reward, Smart Cookies Sticker, Motivasi Belajar.

ah yang belum bersertifikat memiliki kerentanan tinggi terhadap sengketa, termasuk sengketa wakaf, karena tidak adanya bukti kepemilikan yang kuat secara hukum. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi perumusan masalah terkait sengketa tersebut yaitu, bagaimana perlindungan hukum pemilik hak atas tanah yang belum bersertifikat dalam sengketa kepemilikan wakaf, apa dasar pertimbangan hukum oleh hakim terhadap sengketa tanah wakaf dalam Putusan No. 456 K/AG/2007, bagaimana akibat hukum pemilik hak atas tanah yang belum bersertifikat dalam sengketa kepemilikan tanah wakaf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan kasus yang mengkaji Putusan Mahkamah Agung No. 456 K/AG/2007 terkait sengketa tanah wakaf. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder, meliputi peraturan perundang-undangan, doktrin hukum, serta putusan pengadilan yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Tinjauan Pustaka dalam penelitian ini adalah perlindungan hukum bagi pemilik tanah yang belum bersertifikat berdasarkan ketentuan PP No. 24 Tahun 1997. Namun dalam penelitian kasus ini pemilik tanah tidak mendapatkan perlindungan hukum seperti yang tercantum pada PP No 24 Tahun 1997. Hasil Penelitian dan Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini Perlindungan hukum bagi pemilik hak atas tanah yang belum bersertifikat telah diatur dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 24 Tahun 1997 tentang Pendaftaran Tanah. PP ini memberikan landasan hukum yang menjamin hak-hak pemilik tanah. Dasar pertimbangan hukum oleh Hakim dalam Putusan No. 456 K/AG/2007 hanya mempertimbangkan bahwa penggugat tidak memiliki kapasitas sebagai penggugat. Hal ini merupakan kesalahan penerapan hukum karena penggugat jelas dirugikan. Akibat hukum pemilik hak atas tanah yang belum bersertifikat sangat rentan sekali terjadi pengakuan oleh pihak lain, karena tidak adanya kepastian dan perlindungan hukum.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal good practices in (akhlak) character building pattern through the activities of the Student Organization for Nature Lover (MAPALA) at an Islamic University in Palembang, South Sumatra. This research uses a qualitative case study type method. Research data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. There were 14 informants involved in this research. They are Vice Chancellor 3 for student affairs, Deputy Dean 3 (MAPALA coordinator), Chair of MAPALA, Deputy Chair of MAPALA, alumni (seniors) of MAPALA, 6 student members of MAPALA, and 3 lecturers. Research data was analyzed using an interactive model of three techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the development of student character through the first extracurricular activities of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) for Nature Lovers Student (MAPALA), cognitive development activities, which include public discussions, up-greading, seminars, wildlife crime investigation training, and get-to-know interviews. Medan. Second, affective coaching activities, which include Capital Care Fundraising, Mosque Cleaning, Tiger Day Commemoration, and recital. Third, psychomotor development activities, which include Camping, Mountain Expeditions, Adventure with MAPALA, Young Member Adventures, Exercise and Rock Climbing. These activities have a positive impact on developing student character. Through these activities, students are taught to be religious, honest, communicative, environmentally conscious, socially caring and love nature.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an effective instructional design for Fiqh reading materials in the context of Islamic education. Fiqh, as an integral part of Islamic religious studies, requires a systematic and structured approach to learning to facilitate deep understanding. An appropriate instructional design can increase learning efficiency, improve information retention, and promote practical application of Fiqh knowledge. This research proposes a systematic approach to developing Fiqh reading materials, covering the identification of learning objectives, audience analysis, relevant teaching strategies, and comprehensive evaluation. The methodology for developing these materials includes planning, development, implementation, and evaluation stages, which collectively support the achievement of effective learning objectives. The proposed instructional design incorporates the application of constructivist learning theory and contextual approach in compiling Fiqh reading materials. Based on this research, the results show that the use of an appropriate instructional design can facilitate better understanding of Fiqh principles and increase active student engagement in the learning process. Abstract

This study evaluates the integrated Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5) and Islamic Personal Development (BPI) at SDIT Al-Furqon Palembang as a whole-school character strategy. A qualitative field design combined observation, interviews, and document review; data were analyzed with Miles Huberman procedures and Edwards’ implementation factors. P5 operated co-curricularly (Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Lifestyle themes; 8 periods on Fridays) through an introduction, contextualization, action reflection follow-up sequence; BPI ran routinely via character mentoring, Friday Muhasabah, and a Night Study Club. A four-level rubric integrated formative and summative evidence. Findings show gains in ethics toward nature/others, discipline and responsibility, collaboration, creativity/innovation, critical reasoning, and religious conduct. Enablers included strong communication, adequate human/material resources, positive leadership, clear SOPs/KOSP, parent partnerships, and up-front budgeting; time and initial reference gaps were the main constraints. The P5 BPI model is effective and sustainable; recommended next steps are stronger formative coaching, teacher PD in project design/assessment, formalized parent/community roles, and digitized portfolios.

Abstract

Interpersonal competencies, such as communication, empathy, and collaboration, are fundamental to teacher professionalism in Islamic Religious Education (IRE). However, there is limited understanding of how these skills vary across Indonesia’s diverse contexts This study investigates regional variations in the interpersonal competencies of IRE teachers and their socio-demographic predictors. A quantitative survey was conducted with 12,002 teachers selected through stratified random sampling across multiple provinces. Furthermore, data collection involved a Likert-scale online questionnaire, complemented by offline methods in regions with limited internet connectivity. To examine regional disparities and socio-demographic factors, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and regression analyses were conducted, and spatial variations were illustrated using GIS mapping. The findings of this study reveal significant disparities, with urban teachers reporting higher levels of interpersonal competence compared to their rural counterparts, as well as notable differences across Indonesia’s major islands. These results underscore the critical role of socio-cultural and infrastructural factors in shaping teacher professionalism. By providing empirical evidence of regional inequalities, this study enriches the discourse on Islamic education and highlights the importance of context-sensitive professional development initiatives that aim to enhance interpersonal competencies and promote greater educational equity in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores Islamic educational values in the tradition of charity for orphans during Muharram in Palembang City. The research aims to identify, analyse, and assess how these values are implemented and transmitted within the local community. This qualitative descriptive study involved purposive sampling of five mosques actively maintaining the tradition, employing data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Findings reveal three primary value dimensions embedded in the tradition: faith-based values such as gratitude and divine accountability; social-moral values fostering compassion and dignity; and communal solidarity values reinforcing Islamic brotherhood and collective identity. The tradition operates as an effective informal educational platform, where participants internalize values through active engagement. The distinct participatory approaches notably facilitate confidence-building and sustained community integration. Conclusions emphasize the tradition’s role as a vital medium for moral, spiritual, and social education grounded in local culture. This research recommends strengthening informal community-based educational practices and incorporating intentional pedagogical elements into charitable programs. Policymakers should recognize informal religious education in access and quality assessments. Community leaders require pedagogical training to enhance educational effectiveness while preserving religious authenticity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Buya Hamka's character education in Tafsir Al Azhar and the relevance of Buya Hamka's character education concept through Tafsir Al Azhar on character education in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research method applied is the Maudhu'i (Thematic) interpretation method. This research data is divided into two sources, namely primary and secondary sources. Primary and secondary data were collected from Al-Azhar tafsir, books, and articles relevant to Buya Hamka's education, focusing on character education. Data in library studies can be collected and managed in editing, organizing, and resulting ways. The next step is data analysis if all the data has been collected. Researchers used several methods to analyze data in this study: reduction, data display, verification, and conclusion drawing. The relevance of Buya Hamka's character education concept in tafsir Al Azhar is related to: a) strengthening the Religious Moderation Ecosystem such as tawassuth (simplicity), tidal (justice), tawazun (balance), and tasamuh (tolerance); b) strengthening MBKM (Blended Learning) which includes a graduate profile with characteristics such as spiritual integrity, insight into diversity, independence, cooperation, critical thinking, and creativity; c) strengthening SCL (Student Centered Learning) which is active in building independent knowledge, attitudes, and behavior; d) Pancasila Youth Profile.
