Abstract

Strategy Management for Teacher Performance Development to Improve the Quality of Lessons is a response to the quality of learning that still needs to be improved, by developing teacher performance, is a solution to improving the quality of learning. Focus of the problem: How to Implement Strategic Management of Teacher Performance Development to Improve the Quality of Learning. Specific objectives of this study are to identify and analyze: (1) Internal and External Environments, (2) Formulation of Strategy Formulation, (3) Strategy Implementation, (4) Teacher Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Management, (5) Strategic Steps to Overcome Problems and Weaknesses. Research methods and procedures refer to the qualitative research approach. The theories that underlie this research are strategic management theory, performance coaching theory, higher order thinking learning theory and madrasah culture theory. The main findings of this study are: (1) The principal of madrasah has not analyzed and combined strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges into a strategic assumption conclusion that can be used as a basis for further strategic planning, (2) Strategy formulation is not based on strategic assumptions that maximize strength factors and minimizing the weakness factor by taking advantage of opportunities in facing challenges.

Abstract

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the curriculum management and educational assessment system of cooperative education units (SPK) or international schools empirically in South Tangerang City. The data collection techniques are carried out in three methods or ways, namely by observation, interviews, and documentation which focuses on data sources through informants, namely Principal (Principal), Teachers, and administrative staff to strengthen the validity of the data obtained. grading system for International Schools in South Tangerang City. The results of this study describe the differences between the Indonesian curriculum and the foreign curriculum as well as the differences in the value of the subjects in the cooperative education unit.Keywords: management; curriculum; scoring system. ABTRAKDalam penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen kurikulum dan sistem penilaian pendidikan satuan pendidikan kerjasama (SPK) atau sekolah internasional secara empirik di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of partnerships between SMK with the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) in the implementation of dual system education, so there is a need for research on the management of partnerships between schools and DUDI in order to improve the quality of graduates so that SMK graduates have guaranteed absorption in the job market. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the partnership management of SMK with DUDI to increase the competence of SMK graduates of West Bandung. The specific purpose is to find out the implementation of the partnership between SMK and DUDI. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The theoretical basis for this research is the management of LF Urwick in Hasibuan, M (2017:3), the partnership of Moss (1984:71) and the Competence of Graduates of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 34 of 2018 concerning SNP SMK/MAK. The results of the research are as follows: Before establishing a partnership, SMK Negeri 1 Cihampelas first prepares the human resources (Human Resources) owned by the school. Then the school conducts a needs analysis of the school's relationship activities with the business/industrial world (DU/DI). Organizing a partnership program is the process of determining, grouping, and regulating the various activities needed to achieve the goals of the partnership program, placing people in each activity, providing the necessary tools, determining the authority that is relatively delegated to each individual who will carry out the activities. these activities. Forms of partnership between Vocational Schools with the Business World and the Industrial World to increase the competency of West Bandung Vocational High School graduates through teaching factories in terms of service and maintenance of household appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines. Improving the quality of schools is carried out by having a business center which is managed by students after getting work experience in the industry, so that students have been tested in the field of engineering. The results of the partnership between SMK with the Business World and the Industrial World are graduates of the study program TPTU 65% annually work in companies that are in accordance with their competencies and 15% work not according to their fields, 20% continue their education. The results of the partnerships that have been implemented to improve the competence of graduates can be seen from the increase in the number of alumni who enter college, work, and become entrepreneurs

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inability of Vocational School to guarantee the academic quality of its graduates according to the National Education Standards). The method used in this research is a case study method. The results showed that: 1) Planning (Plan) was in accordance with school quality planning procedures, but they still did not understand the stages of quality assurance. 2) In its implementation (Do) there are still State Vocational High Schools that have not formed an Education Quality Assurance Team for Education Units. 3) Monitoring and evaluation in State Vocational Schools has been carried out but quality audit activities are not carried out procedurally by quality auditors. 4) State Vocational High Schools have compiled corrective actions that are outlined in the Work Plan and School Budget and made based on the results of monitoring and evaluation. 5) Almost all State Vocational High School graduates already have a competency certificate from the Professional Certification Institute-P1, but the percentage of State Vocational High School graduates who get a job within one year after graduation only reaches 50%. 6) The obstacle faced is the lack of understanding and awareness of the Principal in improving student academic quality assurance. The solution for State Vocational Schools is to implement a quality assurance system model in stages, systematically and continuously. The conclusion of this study is that in principle, State Vocational Schools have implemented a quality management system but have not succeeded

Abstract

Abstract Early childhood education (PAUD) is a strong foundation in preparing the nation's next generation to continue education at the next level. Early childhood is the basic human foundation in placing important stimulations that can jump-start children's growth and development functions including cognitive development, language, physical motor, social emotional, religious and moral development as well as art development. This study aims to determine the planning in the management of Early Childhood Education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with literacy studies and involves research subjects, namely at Naurahhuda Kindergarten, Karawang. Abstract

This research is based on the fact that teachers as managers for their students, in learning activities carried out in junior high schools generally still use conventional learning methods. This has an impact on student learning achievement. The purpose of education is stated in the National Education System Law no. 20 of 2003 can be achieved, the facts in the field of active, innovative, creative, effective and fun learning have not yet been implemented. The indicator is that there are students who are not active in discussions, lazy in solving problems. Seeing this phenomenon, it is necessary to take steps to overcome it with PAI learning management with Problem Based Learning (PBL) as an effort to improve learning achievement. The PBL method requires students to be active, creative, and cooperative in their learning, so they can apply it in real life. The purpose of this research is to describe the planning, implementation, assessment, supporting factors, obstacles and solutions. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The research process is determined by the subject, approach, type, location and research technique as well as testing the validity of the data and data analysis. The results of the research from the problems obtained are balanced with the achievements of class IX-A and IX-G, the learning achievement is still low, seen from the achievement of the score is not optimal. From the results of the assessment, the average value was not found below. Conclusion: Problem Based Learning method is able to improve learning achievement with indicators of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor values ​​exceeding the KKM.

Abstract

Strong, visionary, and effective leadership are the main pillars in developing and improving competitiveness of educational institution. This research focused on the leadership strategies in improving higher education graduates’ competitiveness in Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin and Polytechnic of Hasnur Banjarmasin. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method to obtain an overview about the implementation of millennial leadership characters to improve the Higher Education competitiveness: 1) strategies for building sustainable competitiveness excellence; 2) implementing strategies through Leadership and Culture; 3) Strategies for sustainable supervision and improvement; 4) strategic steps to overcome problems and weaknesses; 5) creative and innovative ideas in increasing Higher Education graduates’ competitiveness. Finally, this research found out that leadership strategy in improving University graduates’ competitiveness had been implemented based on the national Higher Education standards and the stipulation of the Educational Quality Assurance Council. Nevertheless, supervision strategies had not demonstrated maximum efforts, especially in the development and improvement of graduates’ quality and competitiveness.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study aimed at describing the practice of management education and training at the Research and Development Agency for Legal and Judicial Education and Training at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia. In this research, data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using data analysis techniques, the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Based on the research results obtained six findings. First, education and training activities are based on KMA Number 140/KMA/SK/K/2008. Second, the governance of the education and training program of the Education and Training Research and Development Agency for Law and Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia consists of planning, implementing, and evaluating activities. Third, there are two strategies implemented in implementing education and training at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, namely strategies in learning and strategies in developing education and training programs. Fourth, based on the research results, it can be seen that there are problems and weaknesses in the components in the implementation of education and training, such as participants, teaching staff, and facilities and infrastructure. Fifth, some changes are being made to improve the use of technology and increase the budget for the implementation of education and training. Sixth, there are two anticipatory steps taken towards the governance of the implementation of education and training to obtain optimal results.

Abstract

This research is generally intended to study, analyze, and obtain an empirical description of the supervisory, academic supervision management in improving the pedagogic competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in two Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. There are MI Negeri 1 Kota Bandung and MI Negeri 2 Kota Bandung. This research is research using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation and then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: first, the planning of academic supervision of supervisors in improving the pedagogic competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers consisted of general programs and supporting programs. Second, the implementation of academic supervision of supervisors in improving the pedagogic competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers is formulated with the fostered madrasah through meeting activities at the beginning of each new school year to carry out coaching, monitoring, and assessing teacher performance. Third, the evaluation of academic supervision of supervisors in improving the pedagogic competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers is carried out through self-evaluation at the supervisory working group level and the madrasah level. Fourth, problems in the academic supervision of supervisors in improving the pedagogic competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers come from internal and external supervisors. Fifth, future improvement efforts for academic supervision of supervisors in improving the pedagogic competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers are to develop programs by considering the abilities of supervisors and madrasah and the relationship between supervisors and madrasah.
