Abstract

Degradasi karakter peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Atas merupakanpermasalahan yang terus diperbicangkan oleh orang tua, pendidik, masyarakatdan pemerintah. Salah satu solusi alternatif yang dikembangkan saat iniadalah pembinaan karakter melalui sekolah berbasis Asrama (BoardingSchool). Sekolah Menengah Atas Daarul Qur‘an, yang menawarkanpenddikan Karakter melalui Boarding School secara terpadu antara pembinaankarakter model kemendikbud dan model ciri khas keislaman. Model SekolahMenengah Atas Daarul Qur’an ini para peserta didik dibina dengan matapelajaran karakter kenegaraan, penguasan Ilmu Teknologi dan Seni, diperkuatlagi dengan program unggulan hapalan Al Qur’an 30 Juz, penguasaan Tauhidkeimanan, sejarah keislaman, Balagoh, Ma’ani, Nahwu shorof, Ilmu Fiqh,dan ilmu Faroidh. Disamping itu para peserta didik dibina untuk menguasaibahasa arab bahasa inggris sebagai wujud peduli terhadap globalisasi dan jugadituntut untuk mempelajari bahasa sunda sebagai wujud kepedulian terhadapkearifan lokal. Abstract

This research is motivated by the performance problems of Civil Servants, namely performance targets that are not achieved, dishonest behavior, and other events that are not as expected resulting in the low quality of performance of Civil Servants (PNS). This research approach is a qualitative research with case study method. The results of this study indicate that basic training planning is made with reference to the RPJMD and the Strategic Plan. The organization is regulated by the mechanism of division of tasks, regulated based on the Decree of the Head relating to the Organizational Structure of the training management program which is generally understood and implemented by BKPSDM. The implementation of education and training at BKPSDM was carried out well, in addition to providing quality training for trainees, the committee also paid great attention to the health of participants. Supervision of basic training is carried out daily by class observers during distance learning, while classical supervision is carried out by the tutor. Barriers in general are due to the large number of participants while the time for CPNS is only one year so that there is extraordinary activity on the part of the organizers and facilitators. In overcoming the obstacles to the shortage of learning media, namely socialization before the implementation of careful preparation from the organizers and assessors of work performance. Submission of information through socialization and letters as well as utilizing the head of the class.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low performance of lecturers, both in the fields of teaching, research and community service in universities. The general objective of this research is to examine transformational leadership in improving the performance of lecturers in higher education. Meanwhile, the specific objective is to identify and analyze transformational leadership in improving the performance of lecturers in higher education through 1) Individualized Consideration. 2) Intellectual Stimulation. 3) Inspirational Motivation. 4) Idealized Influence. 5) Factors inhibiting lecturer performance. 6) Solutions to overcome obstacles. and 7) lecturers' performance in higher education. This research is based on transformational leadership theory from Bernard M Bass and performance theory from Michael Armstrong. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and research techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the leaders at the two universities studied had implemented transformational leadership through; 1) individualized consideration by giving tolerance, being fair, empowering subordinates, being democratic, participatory and giving awards. 2) Intellectual Stimulation by innovating, being professional, conducting self-evaluation, leading with a collegial collective system and high creativity. 3) Inspirational Motivation by conducting effective communication, providing motivation and being an inspiration for subordinates. 4) Idealized Influence by being a role model for subordinates, being honest, authoritative, having high spirits, giving reasonable compliments and being able to accept differences of opinion while still using lively facial expressions. 5) Identification of factors inhibiting lecturer performance including a) low competence of lecturers, b) inadequate tridharma facilities and infrastructure and c) tridharma budget that has not been optimal. 6) Solutions in dealing with obstacles that occur through a) holding seminars, workshops and training activities, b) improving tridharma facilities and infrastructure, and c) preparing periodic annual budget plans. 7) Lecturer performance after the implementation of transformational leadership in higher education, education sector is 90%, research field is 82% and community service is 84%.

Abstract

Learning Mathematics is the mother of science, it is unfortunate that this subject is not used as a basis for developing values ​​in building real knowledge and knowledge in the school environment. This study develops Taking a Focus related to "Teacher Creativity Management in improving the Quality of Mathematics Teaching" with the aim of finding a clear picture of this matter. The development of questions presented related to: 1) Planning; 2) Organizing; 3) Implementation; 4) Supervision; 5) Constraints; 6) Efforts; 7) The results of teacher creativity in improving the quality of mathematics learning. with the application of qualitative methods through the development of descriptive analysis and processed through observation, interviews and documentation. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, masalah dan solusi metode muraja’ah hafalan Al-Qur’an di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sukarasa Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini diantaranya adalah kepala madrasah, guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada aspek perencanaan metode muraja’ah hafalan Al-Qur’an di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah melibatkan berbagai dalam penetapan tujuan, penentuan materi, kegiatan dan alat evaluasi yang akan digunakan. Kedua pada aspek pelaksanaan metode muraja’ah hafalan Al-Qur’an terdiri dari tiga kegiatan yakni pendahuluan, inti dan penutup. pada aspek evaluasi muraja’ah hafalan Al-Qur’an ada dua jenis yaitu evaluasi hasil belajar yang dilaksanakan setiap minggu, tengah semester, akhir semester dan akhir kelulusan. Evaluasi proses dilaksanakan pada awal tahun ajaran berikutnya.

Abstract

The low quality of reading the Qur'an in the midst of the rapid development of the Al-Qur'an Educational Institution (TPQ) in the community. This is because not all TPQ are able to manage it so it has not been fully successful. The purpose of this study, to describe the planning, organization, implementation, supervision, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as efforts to improve the Qiraati Method. This study uses a qualitative approach, descriptive method, with data collection techniques from interviews, observation and documentation. The conclusion is that 1) the planning of the Qiraati Method is in accordance with its function, but there are still limitations in teacher resources, infrastructure and finance. 2) Qiraati Method organization it is in accordance with its function, but there are still weaknesses in teacher resources due to double jobs and the lack of Qiraati teacher resources. 3) the implementation of the Qiraati Method is in accordance with its function, but there are still weaknesses in teacher resources in managing learning and teacher teaching motivation. 4) supervision of the Qiraati method, is in accordance with its function, but there are still many obstacles in achieving the target, namely supervision activities for classes/volumes and the institution's achievement targets have not been maximized. 5) supporting and inhibiting factors, all personnel are Qiraati syahadah, continuous development, teacher and student learning motivation, parental support. 6) efforts to improve learning by developing Qiraati teacher resources and infrastructure.

Abstract

The low independence of Islamic boarding school graduates in the field of skills is still visible today, because the planning, implementation and supervision of Islamic boarding school character education has not been maximized in increasing the independence of students. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of planning, implementation, monitoring, inhibiting factors, and efforts to overcome obstacles. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that: : 1) Planning has been carried out according to the theory through curriculum and programs according to the pesantren model, but has not been supported by policies on developing skills programs and infrastructure resources. 2) The implementation has been carried out according to the theory through socialization, coordination and motivation, but it has not been maximal in shaping the character of the independence of students because of the lack of support for HR competencies. 3) Supervision has been carried out according to the theory through direct observation and assessment, but has not been maximized because it is still focused on the core program. 4) Inhibiting factors include the lack of core program learning facilities and skilled professionals. 5) Efforts to overcome obstacles through approaches, sanctions, expand alumni collaboration, and fundraising. Management of character education in increasing the independence of students in Islamic boarding schools in Cirebon Regency has been carried out according to management theory through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising according to the curriculum and programs developed, but has not been maximized in forming students' independence due to policy and resource constraints

Abstract

The general objective of this study is to identify and describe the academic supervision of the principal to improve the professional competence of Madrasah aliyah teachers in Bandung Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Collecting data using interviews, study documentation and observation. The results showed that the planning was prepared referring to the identification of problems faced by teachers based on the results of the previous year's supervision such as assessment, coaching, assisting teacher difficulties, and SWOT analysis, then poured into the Academic Supervision Plan (RKA) program according to the needs of the teacher; Organizing is regulated and allocated among stakeholders so that organizational goals can be achieved effectively, as well as the principal's work program plan through the RKA and RKM in the annual program. Academic supervision by the principal is carried out in three stages, namely: an initial survey before conducting academic supervision, class visits, reviews and solutions. Evaluation, including job descriptions and documentary evidence. Evaluation is carried out at the end of each semester. In improving the competence of teachers, principals also found several obstacles in the field, an effort to solve the inhibiting factors is to organize training based on the needs of the teachers. Guidance through teacher training to improve the competence of principal teachers also found several obstacles in the field, the solution effort was to organize training based on the needs of teachers.

Abstract

Schools are providers of formal education and centers of excellence for human empowerment. Salis stated that Integrated Quality Management (MMT) is “a philosophy of continuous improvement methodology, which provides a set of practical tools for every educational institution in meeting the needs, wants, and expectations of customers, current and future”. In general, the purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the concept of developing quality schools as MMT-based centers of excellence with the development of excellent services. This study uses a qualitative approach and data sources through interviews, observations and documentation through the principal, vice principal, teachers, and students. The results of data analysis showed that the principal's leadership in implementing MMT in SMP Negeri 5 and SMP Negeri 3 Bandung was quite effective in accordance with school planning. This is marked by the principal's continuous efforts to make improvements and changes as a whole in achieving quality, so that schools are realized as a source of excellence. The general conclusion is that the principal has management capabilities that are implemented in schools as a place for comfortable, harmonious, fun and quality education, as well as being highly competitive and having effective management supported by superior human resources to produce superior human resources with target achievement. set.
