Abstract

AbstractThe research objective was to comprehensive information about the leadership ofFranciscan spirituality at the Pontianak Good Shepherd Education Foundation. Theresearch method used is descriptive qualitative by using a type of case study research.The Head of the Foundation as the research subject, the Foundation Management, thePrincipal of the School, and the Teacher as the informant. Data collection techniquesare by interview, observation, and documentation. The conclusion of the research isthat the chairman of the foundation has a firm character, serves with a spirit ofbrotherhood, is communicative and a good listener, is participatory-democratic, andthe chairman of the foundation is more likely to adopt a servant leadership style. Livingthe values of togetherness and brotherhood, ecology, faith and morals. The values oftogetherness and brotherhood, ecology, faith and morals have been implementedproperly. As well as striving to develop leadership in Franciscan spirituality bydeveloping existing programs, maintaining good relationships with subordinates, andcompiling special materials that contain typical Franciscan-Capuchin values. Theimplication of these findings can help introduce the work of the Capuchin Order ofPontianak Province, especially in the field of education and can increase knowledgeabout the values of franciscan spirituality.Keywords:Franciscan Spirituality, Leadership, The Foundation’s Chairman

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the transformational leadership of principals as managers, motivators, and supervisors of innovators at SMP Pangudi Luhur Ketapang. The form of this research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were personnel of SMP Pangudi Luhur Santo Albertus Ketapang, principal, four teachers, Administration, Chairman of the committee, from the age of twenty-nine years to forty-six years, four boys, three girls. Methods of data collection were interviews, observation, documentation and analysis through data reduction, data presentation. The results of the study were 1) transformational leadership of the principal as a manager, namely having the principal's work program, teachers and school activity programs which are socialized during teacher meetings, all programs are implemented because of the collaboration between school heads and teachers 2) As the principal's motivator, giving encouragement, encouragement and praise for teachers who carry out their duties at school, rewards, rewards for teachers who are disciplined and achieving, 3) as supervisors principals carry out supervision to assess teacher performance, provide guidance to teachers to become professional educators. 4) As an Innovator, namely the principal looking for new ideas to create a change in the school        Keywords: Transformational Leadership of a School Principal

Abstract

AbstractThe problem studied was leadership of the head of the undergraduate study program. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, documentation and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, conclusions or verification. The research results are build good communication, build good motivation and build a solid team. The results of the discussion are 1) The head of the study program builds good communication by conducting light dialogues, holding joint discussions, listening to suggestions and input from lecturers. 2) The head of the study program builds good motivation, namely giving an assessment of the performance of the lecturers, giving awards for the performance of the lecturers, treating the lecturers well and generating the desire to learn from the lecturers. 3) The head of the study program builds a solid team by making an agreement to obey the rules to work effectively. Share responsibilities that are fair and clear and able to adapt to positive changes. The conclusion is that the head of the study program leadership in the leadership process is to build good communication, build good motivation and build a solid team with the lecturers.Keywords: Leadership, Head Of Study Program

Abstract

AbstractNew student admission with zoning is the process of accepting new students with predetermined qualifications using the residential zone from school to house. This study aims to determine the process of registration and acceptance of PPDB with the zoning system in SMA Negeri 1 Ngabang. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. The subjects in this study were the principal, the vice principal for student affairs, and the head of the PPDB committee. Data collection procedures, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The findings from the results of this study are: (1) Student recruitment with a zoning system is a PPDB system that is seen based on the distance between the prospective students' residence and the school, not based on the UN score. (2) Selection is a process carried out to recruit students according to the rules to be accepted in school. (3) Placement is a follow-up to the results of the selection process to be accepted into a school and does not have specific criteria for placement. (4) Evaluation is an assessment process so that the PPDB acceptance process in the future can run better. (5) PPDB constraints can cause the PPDB acceptance process to not be carried out properly. The conclusions from the research results are: Acceptance of the PPDB zoning system using zones makes it easier for parents to register their children because of the close distance between school and home. Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, evaluationand follow-up of collegial supervision at the MGMP Physics of SMAPontianak City. The form of the research used is a qualitative casestudy approach. The research subjects were seven people aged over40 years, working period of more than 10 years, consisting of two menand five women with the type or status in the MGMP consisting of achairperson, secretary, treasurer, three members and a supervisorysupervisor. All subjects were actively involved in MGMP activities.Data collection methods used interviews, document studies andobservation. Data analysis used an interactive model, namely datacollection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and techniquetriangulation. The main findings of the study are as follows: 1)Planning is carried out according to stages but the needs analysis isnot optimal, 2) The implementation of collegial supervision of teacherassistance and guidance services for other teachers is appropriatebecause it involves teachers in all aspects ranging from managers,implementers, participants and resource persons and meet serviceindicators, 3) Evaluation has met the correct stages, carried out by allmembers accompanied by supervisory supervisors, and 4) Follow-upis carried out by finding the cause of the problem, finding solutions,reporting activities and coaching. The conclusion is that collegialsupervision has been carried out by MGMP with implications forincreasing the professional competence of high school physicsteachers in Pontianak City.

Abstract

AbstractThis reseach aims to determine the implementation of the Agribusiness Study Program collaboration with PT Wilmar Group in West Kalimantan, especially at PT Agronusa Investama Wilmar International Plantation West Kalimantan. The research method uses a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and document studies. Analysis of the data in this study are (1) data reduction, (2) data display (3) conclusions. Subyck of research consisted of 7 people, consisting of 4 men, 3 women, aged from 20 to 52 years, and the lowest educated, high school one person, D-III two people, SI one person and S2, 3 people. The data source of this research is the results of interviews,research data were obtained from document studies and observations. The results showed that the mutually beneficial cooperation was planned well so that the implementation of the collaboration proceeded smoothly in accordance with the targets set. Equivalent cooperation is also going well while responsible cooperation is going well enough. This collaboration should produce competent human resources in the plantation sector. The implication is shown by the alumni recruitment of Sambas State Polytechnic Study Program at PT Wilmar, especially at PT Agronusa Investama Wilmar International Plantation Sambas, West Kalimantan.Key words: Agribusiness, Cooperation, Implementation.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is: (1) Knowing planning competence; (2) Implementation of  competence; (3) and  competency evaluation principals SMA Negeri 1 Sanggau to improving the professionalism of teachers. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive approach. Which is the principal as subject, as for the informant is the deputy principal and teachers. The techniques of data collection using : (1) observation; (2) interviews; and (3) documentation. Data have been collected followed by examination of the validity of data, using triangulation, with the verification and checking on the adequacy of reference. While technique of data analysis using an interactive model. The results of this research are : (1) Planning  that is done by the SMA Negeri 1 Sanggau principal include : (a) planning based on vision, mission, the purpose of schools and the needs of ( need assessment ); (b) involve all elements of the school it broadcasts; (c) perform new temporary teachers (GTT) recruitment and perform analysis of job position; (d) which it is carried out in a working meeting. (2) The implementation  in improving the professionalism of teachers is done by SMA Negeri 1 Sanggau principal : (a) to join in the training; seminar, and workshop; (b) revitalization of MGMP; (c) adding supporting facilities. (3) The evaluation is done by the principal of SMA Negeri 1  Sanggau covers : (a) perform supervision both personal and group; (b) techniques used is directly and indirectly; (c) the aspects of the assessment in supervision is pupils teachers, teacher performance in schools, the development of students, RPP, and Syllabus; (d) using format SKP. Abstract

This study aims to determine the work commitment of teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Seluas. This form of research uses qualitative methods. The research subjects were 5 people. Methods of collecting data with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display and verifications. The technique of checking the validity of the data is by testing credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) the form of teacher commitment, namely: teacher involvement in activities, constructive teacher responses, teacher cooperation, concern for school development, teacher compliance, teacher loyalty, and being a teacher is a choice throughout a career, 2) strategies to grow teacher work commitment through: committing to the main human values, clarifying and communicating the organization's mission, ensuring organizational justice, creating a sense of community, and supporting teacher development, and 3) the implications of teacher work commitment, including: the impact of teacher commitment, information about obstacles that faced, information about the efforts made, and teachers run the curriculum with full responsibility. The conclusion of this research is that the teacher's work commitment has been carried out well. The implications of this research can be used as input in increasing teacher work commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of the Principal of SMA Negeri 4 Singkawang in increasing teacher motivation to excel. This form of research uses a qualitative approach. Research participants amounted to 4 people. Data collection techniques with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display and verifications. The technique of checking the validity of the data is through triangulation and member check. The main findings indicate that: 1) planning is carried out through the formulation of the vision and mission, making planning programs, and involving the entire school community, 2) organizing is carried out through the formation of the School Development Team, division of tasks, preparation of organizational structure, 3) implementation is carried out through program preparation. work, mapping of teacher abilities, and utilization of information systems, 4) supervision is carried out on a scheduled basis in the form of supervision, and 5) Evaluation is carried out to overcome existing obstacles. The conclusion of this research is that the principal's management has been implemented well in order to increase the motivation of teachers to excel. The implications of this research can be used as input in increasing teacher motivation for achievement through the application of management functions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of teacher empowerment in improving professional competence by principals at SMPN 1 Sambas. This form of research used a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 8 people with the criteria of principals, vice principals, teachers. Research subjects through purposive sampling. Descriptive research method with observation, interviews, documentation. Data collection tools in the form of observation sheets, interview guidelines, documents. Data analysis used reduction, presentation, verification. The main findings of the study: planning was carried out by analyzing teacher profiles considering the requirements for participating in teacher empowerment, coordination carried out by school principals on the sidelines to determine the development of teacher professional competence empowerment, directives were carried out through sharing, providing motivation, and direct orders to participate in teacher professional competence empowerment activities, evaluation is done by reviewing weekly reports by the teacher, analyzing and providing follow-up. The conclusion of this study in the form of planning, coordination, direction, and evaluation of teacher empowerment went quite well. The implication of this research is that with the management of teacher professional competence empowerment, it is hoped that teachers can pay attention to their competence to the maximum
