Abstract

Hypertension is a major contributor to cardiovascular complications, including aortic aneurysms, which can be fatal if left untreated. This study aims to examine the relationship between the level of hypertension, particularly stage 2, and the incidence of aortic aneurysm. A retrospective cohort analysis was conducted using medical records of 24 patients diagnosed with varying degrees of hypertension and aortic aneurysm at Harapan Keluarga Hospital in December 2024. Statistical analysis using the chi-square test revealed a significant association between hypertension severity and the incidence of aortic aneurysm (p = 0.000), with an odds ratio of 2.001 (95% CI: 2.010–2.229). These findings emphasize the need for enhanced patient education and preventive strategies, particularly among those with hypertension stage 2, to mitigate the risk of aneurysm-related complications.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang transportasi, di mana pengendalian kendaraan secara nirkabel menjadi semakin populer. Namun, sistem pengendalian sepeda motor saat ini masih mengandalkan kunci kontak manual, yang memiliki keterbatasan seperti risiko kehilangan kunci atau kerusakan mekanis, serta kurangnya fleksibilitas dalam pengendalian jarak jauh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem pengendalian on-off sepeda motor menggunakan teknologi WiFi berbasis ESP32, yang dapat menggantikan fungsi kunci kontak manual dengan sistem nirkabel yang diakses melalui smartphone. Metode penelitian meliputi perancangan sistem, implementasi perangkat keras, dan pengujian fungsionalitas. Sistem ini terdiri dari sepeda motor Supra X 110cc tahun 2004, aki motor, step down, ESP32 WROOM 32D, push button untuk mematikan relay saat pengisian bensin, dan relay 3V sebagai saklar pengganti kontak motor. Tegangan dari aki motor 12V diturunkan menjadi 5V menggunakan step down, kemudian dialirkan ke ESP32, push button, dan relay 3V. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berfungsi dengan baik, memungkinkan pengendalian on-off sepeda motor melalui smartphone dengan jarak jangkauan hingga 10 meter di lingkungan terbuka. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi dengan push button sebagai fitur keselamatan untuk mematikan relay secara manual saat pengisian bensin, sehingga menghindari risiko kebakaran. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa keterbatasan, seperti jarak jangkauan yang berkurang di lingkungan tertutup dan waktu respons relay yang mencapai 1-2 detik. Secara keseluruhan, sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan dan keamanan pengguna sepeda motor.

Abstract

Padi adalah komoditas utama dalam sektor pertanian Indonesia yang sangat rentan terhadap penyakit seperti brown spot, bacterial blight, blast, dan tungro, yang dapat menurunkan hasil panen secara signifikan. Proses identifikasi penyakit secara manual oleh petani dinilai kurang efisien dan sering kali menghasilkan kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model klasifikasi penyakit pada daun padi dengan menggunakan teknologi transfer learning, yang menggabungkan MobileNetV3-Small dan Support Vector Machine (SVM). Metode yang diterapkan mencakup pemrosesan dataset citra daun padi yang meliputi empat jenis penyakit, serta penggunaan teknik augmentasi data untuk meningkatkan keragaman dan kualitas data pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi MobileNetV3-Small dan SVM memberikan akurasi tertinggi yaitu 99,66%, yang lebih unggul dibandingkan model MobileNetV3-Small 99,24% dan SVM 95,02% secara terpisah. Berdasarkan analisis confusion matrix, model ini terbukti sangat akurat dalam mengklasifikasikan penyakit meskipun ada beberapa kesalahan pada kelas-kelas dengan kesamaan visual yang tinggi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze Comparison Organizational Theory and Organization Performance on The Process of Enriching Organizational Culture on The Implementation of The Principles  Government Organizations In Indonesia.. The research sample consisted of 104 State Civil Apparatus whose duties were related to those studied. The research method used is an explanatory survey approach to explain the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing in the field. Research that uses descriptive surveys and explanatory survey methods is carried out by collecting information from samples directly at the scene of the incident (empirical) through questionnaires with the aim of finding out the opinions of the samples regarding the research problem. And this research uses the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling analysis technique (PLS-SEM), to model many variables in research  Results and Discussion: To examine the influence of mediator variables, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling analysis technique (PLS-SEM),to estimate the causal relationship between variables (causal model) that has been determined previously based on the theory. Answering research questions requires correct statistical data processing. This is based on the results of hypothesis testing, the t-statistics results obtained were 3,287 and the significance results (pvalue) obtained were 0.000 (0.000<0.05), so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Abstract

BACKGROUND: Trans-radial access has become the new standard and is increasingly in demand in coronary angiography. However, this method can fail due to tortuosity of the right subclavian artery. OBJECTIVES: This study aims to identify the predictors of right subclavian artery tortuosity. METHODS: This retrospective case-control study was conducted at two of the largest hospitals in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. All research data were obtained from secondary sources, including video recordings of coronary angiographies, angiography reports, and patient medical records. Predictors included age, gender, smoking, height, body mass index, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and random blood sugar. RESULTS: The study involved 80 subjects, divided into right subclavian artery tortuosity and normal group, with 40 subjects each. The prevalence of tortuosity was 8.1%, while the success rate of trans-radial access was 70.0%. Four significant predictors were identified: smoking (adjusted OR 0.26; p = 0.019), hypertension (adjusted OR 4.83; p = 0.020), diastolic blood pressure (adjusted OR 1.05; p = 0.044), and body mass index (adjusted OR 1.16; p = 0.035). The optimal cutoff points were determined to be a body mass index of ≥ 24.4 (sensitivity 60.0%; specificity 60.0%; p = 0.006; AUC = 0.665) and diastolic blood pressure of ≥ 78.5 mmHg (sensitivity 67.5%; specificity 67.5%; p = 0.002; AUC = 0.685). CONCLUSION: This study has identified smoking, hypertension, diastolic blood pressure, and body mass index as significant predictors of right subclavian artery tortuosity in trans-radial coronary angiography access.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan kemampuan praktikal dalam bidang elektronika sangat penting diajarkan pada siswa khususnya pada tingkat menengah atas. Namun, peningkatan skill praktikal biasanya hanya menggunakan modul terstruktur yang diberikan secara berkala. Diperlukan sebuah pengalaman pembelajaran lain untuk meningkatkan skill siswa dalam bidang perangkaian elektronik yang dikombinasikan dengan kemampuan berkolaborasi dan berkompetisi antar kelompok. Agenda yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dan Mahasiswa Telkom University bertujuan untuk mengasah kemampuan perangkat keras siswa menegah atas dalam bidang elektronika yang diikuti dengan peningkatan softskill di bidang manajerial kelompok dan kompetisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah berupa pemaparan materi singkat sebagai pengantar, diikuti dengan perangkaian hardware aplikasi line follower secara berkelompok. Hasil dari rangakain robot analog line follower dipertandingkan oleh siswa dalam bentuk kelompok. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 siswa yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan evaluasi angket, lebih dari 90% siswa menyatakan acara ini bermanfaat bagi mereka untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dibidang elektronika. Selain itu, lebih dari 92% siswa menyatakan kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman baru dalam pembelajaran elektronika secara praktikal.Abstract: The improvement of practical skills in the field of electronics is very important to teach students, especially at the upper secondary level. However, the improvement of practical skills usually only uses structured modules provided periodically. Another learning experience is needed to enhance students' skills in the field of electronic circuit design, combined with the ability to collaborate and compete among groups. The agenda carried out by the team of lecturers and students from Telkom University aims to sharpen the upper secondary students' hardware skills in the field of electronics, followed by the enhancement of soft skills in group management and competition. The method used was a brief presentation of the material as an introduction, followed by the assembly of line follower application hardware in groups. The results of the analog line follower robot assembly were competed by the students in groups. This activity was participated in by 30 students divided into 6 groups. Based on the results of interviews and questionnaire evaluations, more than 90% of students stated that this event was beneficial for them in improving their skills in the field of electronics. In addition, more than 92% of students stated that this activity provided new experiences in practical electronics learning.

Abstract

Generator scheduling remains an intriguing issue within the energy industry. It relates to the optimization of production costs, where system operators must select the optimal combination of available resources to minimize production costs. This paper proposes an enhancement to the Equal Incremental Cost (EIC) Method using Adjustable Gamma Control (AGC) in generator scheduling. Iterations begin with an initial lambda value, then gradually increase with the application of the factor until power demand is met. A variable of 10% is used as an adjustment step in the optimization method. The proposed method is capable of achieving convergence with 100% accuracy, where the power generated by all generators precisely matches the load demand (2,650 MW), at a cost of USD 32,289.03. EIC-AGC ranks second-best after VLIM, albeit with the consequence of consuming 195 seconds. This method is expected to have a significant impact on designing highly accurate economic dispatch techniques. Thus, generator scheduling will lead to a reduction in operational costs compared to current practices.

Abstract

Abstrak — Sungai Citarum merupakan sungai yang tercemar oleh berbagai faktor baik dari pembuangan sampahmasyarakat serta limbah pabrik yang terbuang disemenanjungsungai Citarum. Petugas program Citarum Harum yang bertugas dalam proyek tersebut memerlukan rekapitulasi datakondisi air sungai Citarum tiap minggunya sebagai bahan evaluasi tingkat kontaminasi sungai. Data kualitas air yangdiperlukan salah satunya adalah kadar pH dan kadar zat padat terlarut. Petugas perlu turun ke permukaan daerah aliransungai yang berbahaya untuk melakukan pengambil data dan sample secara manual.Untuk mendapat nilai parameter kualitas air tersebut makaperlu dirancang Sistem Monitoring Kualitas Air sungai yangakan dipasang dipada tepian sungai. Sistem terdiri atas sensorsensor yang dapat mengakuisisi data yang diperlukan dansistem transmisi data berbasis LoRa untuk mengirim datadengan jarak yang jauh. Setelah data terakuisisi, data akanditransmit ke markas pemantauan untuk direkapitulasi dalam database.Alat ini diharapkan dapat membantu petugas dalamperawatan sungai Citarum. Setelah hasil uji coba, tingkatakurasi alat cukup tinggi dengan %error bernilai 3.576%,sehingga %akurasi sensor pH sebesar 94.4%. Selanjutnya%error sensor TDS bernilai 14.026%, sehingga %akurasibernilai 85.97%. Jarak maksimum antara Transmitter danReceiver adalah 67.92 meter. Abstract

Tempat sampah sering kali diabaikan dalam pengelolaannya, yang dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, seperti bau tidak sedap dan kondisi tidak nyaman di sekitarnya. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dirancang sistem pemantauan volume tempat sampah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan memanfaatkan beberapa sensor. Sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 digunakan untuk mendeteksi ketinggian sampah, sementara sensor gas MQ-2 berfungsi sebagai detektor gas berbahaya untuk mencegah potensi kebakaran, dan sensor api mendeteksi adanya kebakaran. Semua sensor terhubung ke mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32-S3, yang berperan mengumpulkan dan mengirimkan data ke Firebase. Data ini kemudian ditampilkan melalui aplikasi Android, yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk memantau kondisi tempat sampah secara real-time. Selain itu, pengguna akan menerima notifikasi ketika tempat sampah penuh, atau ketika ada deteksi asap, gas, atau api. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu mengelola sampah dengan lebih baik dan mencegah potensi risiko bahaya, sehingga menjaga kebersihan dan kenyamanan lingkungan secara efektif. Abstract

Accurate prediction of earthquake parameters is essential for seismic risk assessment and disaster mitigation, particularly in tectonically active regions such as Java Island, Indonesia. This study presents a novel predictive model for estimating the earthquake b-value a fundamental seismological parameter representing the logarithmic relationship between earthquake frequency and magnitude by integrating a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) neural network with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The model is trained using earthquake catalog data from 1962 to 2024, sourced from the Indonesian Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG). The GRU architecture is selected for its effectiveness in modeling temporal dependencies in seismic time series data. PSO is employed to optimize essential hyperparameters, including the number of GRU units, learning rate, and dropout rate. The optimized model achieves notable improvements in predictive performance: Mean Squared Error (MSE) is reduced from 0.00435 to 0.00030, Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) from 0.0509 to 0.0173, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) from 3.42% to 1.12%. Training time is also reduced from 57 seconds to 33 seconds, indicating greater computational efficiency. The optimal PSO settings include an inertia weight of 0.8, cognitive and social coefficients of 1.0, 40 particles, and 10 iterations. The primary novelty of this study lies in its targeted application of PSO-optimized GRU architecture for b-value prediction in a seismically complex region. These results demonstrate that evolutionary optimization significantly enhances deep learning performance, providing a robust and efficient framework to support earthquake forecasting and risk mitigation efforts in high-risk zones such as Java Island.
