Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and the dominance of Multiple Intelligence on student learning outcomes in educational psychology courses at the PGSD department of UNU Yogyakarta. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational design, this study involved 46 students using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring IQ variables, multiple intelligences, and learning outcomes. The results of the analysis using the Pearson correlation test show that there is a positive and significant relationship between IQ and learning outcomes, with a correlation value of 0.873 (87.3%), which indicates that the higher the IQ score, the higher the learning outcomes obtained by students. The normality test shows that the residual data meets the assumption of normality with an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.126, which is greater than 0.05, indicating that the regression model used is valid. This study confirms that IQ serves as an important predictor of academic success, and an understanding of multiple intelligences can help in designing more effective learning strategies. The implications of this study show the importance of an inclusive educational approach, which considers different types of intelligence to support students' holistic development. This research is expected to provide insights for educators in creating learning environments that are more adaptive and responsive to students' needs.

Abstract

The emergence of a knowledge always begins with a question. Students have good questioning skills which are one of the benchmarks for gathering information, informing what is known, and directing what is not known. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of lecturer policies on the quantity and quality of students' ability to ask questions based on Bloom's taxonomy which has been revised in the course of Islamic Religious Education Material Development course. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at FTIK IAIN Manado with the research respondents being all 5th semester C grade students, totaling 33 students. Based on the data obtained, it shows that the number of students who asked questions was 96%. The quality of the questions in this study was 40.62% in the category of low-level questions and 59.3% indicated that students asked questions in the high-level question category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the student's ability to ask questions is classified as high, seeing from the most data, although not significant, so it is felt that it needs to be improved and developed.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. The role of scholars in developing and maintaining Islamic values ​​is vital. Among the scholars who play an essential role in the process is Shaykh Mahfudz at Tarmasi. This article aims to explore the traditions and intellectual networks of Shaykh Mahfudz, one of the archipelago scholars of the late nineteenth century who had a profound influence on the development of Islamic intellectual traditions in the archipelago. Despite spending his age in Mecca, he succeeded in educating Javanese clerics who were members of the Jawi community to become leaders of large pesantren in the archipelago. This research concludes that Shaykh Mahfudz is a productive ulama. The intellectual traditions and networks that he built spread to various Islamic worlds through several works he produced, and through his students who acted as transmitters of Islamic sciences from Mecca to the archipelago

Abstract

Students feel that P5 activities are exciting and fun because they are instructed to memorize gymnastic movements and musical drama dialogues, and they can enjoy the activities that are carried out. Students get perceived benefits from gymnastics and musical drama exercises. Obstacles or difficulties during P5 activities are difficulties finding the property, generally in finding a place with a relatively low price. Skills homed in P5 activities include skills to train cohesiveness in teamwork because activities focus on collaborative activities. P5 activities are carried out with an allocation of time for two consecutive weeks without involving other academic activities. This schedule selection makes students feel unburdened or pressured to work on the P5 final project and can complete it with focus.

Abstract

Organisasi mahasiswa memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk soft skill dan karakter mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis peran organisasi mahasiswa, kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan soft skill akademik dan tantangan serta kendala yang muncul dalam pelaksanaan peran organisasi mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan ada studi kasus dengan teknik purposive sampling dalam pemilihan subjek terhadap 40 subjek penelitian. Temuan menunjukan bahwa (1) peran organisasi mahasiswa (ormawa) pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh yaitu memberikan para mahsiswa, anggota dan seluruh pihak yang bergabung dan terlibat dalam kegiatan maupun organisasi panggung untuk berkarya dan berkspresi. Pemberian panggung dan karya dalam ekspresi diwujudkan untuk dapat memiliki skill komunikasi, kepemimpinan, pemecahan masalah, self management dan kedisiplinan. (2) Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut yaitu latihan kepemimpinan mahasiswa, publik speaking, team management dan pelatihan kepenulisan serta aplikasi yang digunakan. (3) kendala yaitu kurangnya minat mahasiswa bergabung dalam organisasi mahasiswa dan tantangan yaitu adanya era digitalisasi dan AI yang masif. Peran ormawa sudah mengambil peran dengan baik, namun perlu pengembangan peran dan kegiatan yang mengarah dan merespon AI

Abstract

To achieve educational goals in accordance with Islamic religious law, it is necessary to have a strong foundation, namely the Qur'an as a guide for Muslims. In the Qur'an, there are many commands of Allah SWT that are intended for His people to be carried out and prohibitions to be abandoned. Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Kahfi verses 60-82 describe the struggle of Prophet Musa to study with Prophet Khidir, it can be imitated by educators today in carrying out their profession as an educator. The method used in this writing is library research. The stages that the author did in this research were collecting research materials, reading library materials, making research notes, and processing the research notes. The importance of good interaction between educators and their students in order to achieve the desired educational goals, an educator is expected to have good character in accordance with the Uswah Hasanah owned by the Prophet Muhammad in order to achieve the desired goals. Good manners are expected to always be embedded in students when studying, an educator is expected to use the right method in educating, in order to create a good and efficient interaction process between the two.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the analysis of basic literacy abilities in students as participants in the Student Exchange Program. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study consisted of 70 students at a public university in Banten, Indonesia. The data collected is in the form of basic literacy tests, interviews, and photos as documentation. Then the data was quantified and analysed to obtain the results of students' basic literacy skills of 81.6% in the good category. These findings showed that the Student Exchange Program is one of the activities that can develop students' basic literacy skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat intrinsic cognitive load (ICL) mahasiswa calon guru biologi dalam penyelesaian tugas akhir berupa pengembangan media pembelajaran digital serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ICL tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa calon guru biologi yang sedang menyusun skripsi berbasis pengembangan media. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata ICL mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang (M = 2,93; SD = 0,42). Faktor utama yang memengaruhi ICL meliputi kompleksitas materi metodologi penelitian, keterampilan teknis penggunaan perangkat lunak pengembangan media, serta integrasi teori pembelajaran dengan aspek teknis desain media. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi dosen pembimbing untuk memberikan scaffolding, pelatihan teknis, serta panduan terstruktur guna menekan beban kognitif berlebih pada mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi komunikasi intrapersonal dengan kecerdasan adversitas mahasiswa perantau di Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menerapkan metode analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara komunikasi intrapersonal dengan kecerdasan adversitas mahasiswa perantau di Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo. Hasil itu dibuktikan dengan korelasi komunikasi intrapersonal (variabel X) dengankecerdasan adversitas (variabel Y) dengan nilai statistik yang dikategorikan kuat.

Abstract

Kegiatan menghafal Al-Quran adalah wajib dalam dunia pesantren. Komunikasi tertentu dapat membantu guru dan santri dalam mengoptimalkan kegiatan itu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk komunikasi interpersonal antara guru dan santri dalam kegiatan menghafal Al-Quran di Pondok Pesantren Al-Islam. Jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif-kualitatif, yaitu menjelaskan objek penelitian berdasarkan wawancara mendalam serta observasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 3 guru dan 6 santri sebagai informan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi antara guru dan santri dalam kegiatan menghafal Al-Quran dapat dilihat dari 5 bentuk komunikasi interpersonal, yaitu: (1) keterbukaan, (2) empati, (3) sikap saling mendukung, (4) sikap positif, dan (5) kesetaraan. Dalam hal keterbukaan, guru dan santri telah menerapkan prinsip keterbukaan dalam kegiatan menghafal Al-Quran. Sisi empati guru dalam kegiatan menghafal Al-Quran adalah dengan cara ikut dan turut merasakan masalah dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh para santri. Sikap saling mendukung guru telah menunjukkan bentuk dukungan melalui nasehat dan motivasi. Dari segi sikap positif, komunikasi interpersonal ditunjukkan dalam bentuk sikap dan dorongan yang membangun. Kesetaraan dalam melakukan bimbingan dan arahan kepada santri ditunjukkan oleh guru dengan guru tidak membeda-bedakan santri didik, meskipun cara dan metode yang diberikan oleh guru penghafal Al-Quran berbeda-beda sesuai dengan kemampuan dari santri.
