Abstract

This research is motivated by the world of education which requires innovation in learning media to be more creative and not boring. This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes of students in class IV SD 1 Dersalam which totaled 26 students through the application of the Make A Match type cooperative learning model assisted by PAPINKA learning media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Before applying the Cooperative learning model of the Make A Match type assisted by PAPINKA learning media, the class average score in the cognitive domain was 46.3, the percentage of completeness was 15.3%. In cycle I, the learning outcomes of students were the class average in the cognitive domain of 77.6 with a completeness percentage of 69%. In cycle II, the learning outcomes of students were the class average in the cognitive domain of 93 with a completeness percentage of 100%. Based on the results of the research and discussion, as well as the analysis of the data that has been described, it can be concluded that cooperative learning of the Make A Match type assisted by PAPINKA learning media can improve learning outcomes in cognitive aspects or knowledge of Mathematics in class IV SD 1 Dersalam academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model problem based learning berbantuan media geoboard terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SD. Penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest and posttest  design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normlitas, dan uji N-gain dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa model problem based learning berbantuan media geoboard efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis khususnya materi bangun datar pada siswa kelas IV SD 6 Bulung Kulon. Hal ini didukung dengan perolehan nilai analisis uji N-gain yang memperoleh hasil sebesar 0,74 maka nilai tersebut termasuk dalam golongan tinggi, dikarenakan terletak diantara 0.7 < g<1. Jika ditafsirkan dalam tafsiran keefektifan N-gain termasuk dalam golongan cukup efektif dikarenakan terletak diantara 56-75 persen. Temuan ini mengidentifikasi bahwa penggunaan model PBL dan media geoboard dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep bangun datar dengan lebih baik, terutama melalui pendekatan berbasis masalah. The Effectiveness of the PBL Model Assisted by Geoboard Media on Elementary School Students' Mathematical Concept Understanding Ability This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model assisted by geoboard media on elementary students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This research is quantitative with a one-group pretest and posttest design. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis techniques use the normality test and the N-gain test with the help of SPSS. The results of the research show that the problem-based learning model assisted by geoboard media is effective in increasing understanding of mathematical concepts, especially material about flat shapes, in class IV students at SD 6 Bulung Kulon. This is supported by the N-gain test analysis value, which obtained a result of 0.74, so this value is included in the high group because it is between 0.7 <g<1. If interpreted in terms of effectiveness, N-gain is included in the quite effective group because it is between 56-75 percent. These findings identify that the use of PBL models and geoboard media can help students understand the concept of flat shapes better, especially through a problem-based approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada kelas 1 SDN Wangunrejo 01 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture berbantuan media flashcard. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini mengggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas 1 SDN Wangunrejo 01 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis permulaan dengan melalui tes, presentase perolehan data pada saat pra siklus yaitu 40% dengan kriteria cukup, meningkat menjadi 76% dengan kriteria baik di siklus I, kemudian meningkat menjadi 84% dengan kriteria sangat baik pada siklus II. Peningkatan kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture dengan berbantuan media flashcard dapat meningkat dengan terpenuhinya indikator keberhasilan dinyatakan tuntas.

Abstract

The aims of the research is to describe the application of the Talking Stick learning method in increasing reading interest in Indonesian language subjects in grade 3 Elementary School of Demangan Kudus. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles. This research was carried out from March-April 2025, at Elementary School of Demangan Kudus. This research contains the activities of classroom teachers in providing action to students, especially in Indonesian language learning using the Talking Stick method which requires students to be ready face future challenges by improving reading interest. The results of the study showed that the increase in reading interest in grade 3 Elementary School of Demangan Kudus starting from Pre-cycle was 50%, cycle I 58.4%, and cycle II 75.9%. This increase shows that the talking stick learning method can be used as a solution to increase reading interest in Indonesian language subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peningkatan model problem based learning berbantuan media tabur (kotak bukti rasio) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VI SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan quasi eksperimen desain nonequivalent control gruop pretest posttest. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI di SD 1 Sadang sebagai kelas kontrol dan SD 4 Sadang sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji independent sample t-test, uji paired sample t-test, serta perhitungan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang siginifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, model problem based learning berbantuan media tabur efektif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VI SD.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low problem-solving ability of students. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of students' difficulties in solving mathematical problems related to integer operations in the fourth-grade class at SDN 2 Klaling. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data were obtained using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. fourth-grade teachers at SDN 2 Klaling, and secondary data in the form of books, journals, documentation, and references about students' problems in the integer operations material. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this study uses the interactive data analysis model of Miles & Huberman, which explains that interactive data analysis techniques consist of three components: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that students still have difficulty understanding the meaning of symbols and parentheses when working on integer division problems. Students also experience difficulties in operating numbers with negative signs in the material on subtraction and addition of integers. The difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts are due to both internal and external factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze efforts to increase literacy in SD 3 Rejosari in the new normal era.This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were teacher of grade 2 SD 3 Rejosari and students of grade 2 SD 3 Rejosari. Data from this study were obtained using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Validity test of the data using the credibility, transferability,dependability, konfirmability. Data analysis used an intecrative model with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The results of the research conducted at SD 3 Rejosari included: 1) classifying students literacy abilities; 2) providing assistance according to the ability of students; 3) maximizing children’s books for reading materials; 4) create literacy friendly class; 5) make a daily reading journal

Abstract

Understanding basic mathematical concepts at the elementary school level plays an important role as a foundation for students in solving mathematical problems. Current mathematics learning still emphasizes conventional lecture methods, causing many students to struggle with internalizing mathematical concepts. One innovation that can be applied is the ethnomathematics approach, which links mathematical concepts with local culture. This study aims to determine the improvement in understanding mathematical concepts through a culture-based ethnomathematics approach in Grade I at SDN Demangan. The research was conducted in two cycles of Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis & McTaggart model. The subjects of the study consisted of 4 male students and 1 female student. Data were collected from the results of the mathematical concept understanding tests and analyzed descriptively. The results indicate an increase in the percentage of completeness from 20% in the pre-cycle to 40% in Cycle I, and further increased to 80% in Cycle II. These findings suggest an improvement in understanding mathematical concepts through the culture-based ethnomathematics approach in Kudus.

Abstract

The monotonous and conventional learning process through lecture methods can cause a low understanding of students' concepts. These problems were found in grade IV students of SD 2 Kaliwungu, especially in the material on measuring the area of flat buildings. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the PAKULUS media-assisted Discovery learning model in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The Discovery learning model emphasizes the active involvement of students in discovering concepts through meaningful learning experiences, while PAKULUS media is a two-dimensional media in the form of a rectangular board equipped with flat building images to help visualize broad concepts. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experiment method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects amounted to 19 grade IV students who participated in learning for five meetings. The data collection technique uses tests and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-gain tests. The results showed a significance value (2-tailed) < 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05), so there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest values after treatment. The N-gain value of 0.65 is in the medium category. Thus, the PAKULUS media-assisted Discovery learning model is effective in improving the understanding of mathematics concepts of grade IV students of SD 2 Kaliwungu on the material of measuring the area of flat buildings. Abstrak Proses pembelajaran yang monoton dan konvensional melalui metode ceramah dapat menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Permasalahan tersebut ditemukan pada peserta didik kelas IV SD 2 Kaliwungu, khususnya pada materi pengukuran luas bangun datar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Discovery learning berbantuan media PAKULUS dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik. Model Discovery learning menekankan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam menemukan konsep melalui pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, sedangkan media PAKULUS merupakan media dua dimensi berbentuk papan persegi panjang yang dilengkapi gambar bangun datar untuk membantu visualisasi konsep luas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 19 peserta didik kelas IV yang mengikuti pembelajaran selama lima pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test, dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) < 0,05 (0,001 < 0,05), sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest setelah perlakuan. Nilai N-gain sebesar 0,65 berada pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, model Discovery learning berbantuan media PAKULUS efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik kelas IV SD 2 Kaliwungu pada materi pengukuran luas bangun datar.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika menekankan pada konsep, karena siswa perlu menguasai konsep terlebih dahulu sebelum dapat memecahkan masalah dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Namun, pembelajaran yang masih monoton dan pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tidak tepat menjadikan rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media TRYDBOOK terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif Pre-Experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD 1 Karangmalang dengan jumlah 24 siswa sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest dengan nilai signifikansi 2-tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sedangkan hasil uji N-Gain diperoleh skor rata-rata 0,69 dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 69,32% yang ditafsirkan cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media TRYDBOOK cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.
