Abstract

Dalam Pendidikan, aspek kognitif sangat penting untuk diperhatikan. Namun, ada hal lainnya yang juga penting untuk diperhatikan, yakni hal yang berkaitan dengan mental atau keadaan psikososial siswa. Psikososial siswa sangat perlu diperhatikan karena memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan siswa secara menyeluruh. Berbagai permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan psikososial yang dialami siswa seperti kecemasan, stress, berduka, keputusasaan dan ketidakberdayaan, interaksi dengan teman sebaya dan dinamika kelompok, serta tekonolgi digital seperti pengaruh media sosial yang menyebabkan rasa rendah diri dan ketidakpuasan terhadap penampilan atau prestasi diri sendiri. Dalam psikososial, dukungan emosional dan psikologis keluarga sangatlah penting dalam mencapai tugas dan fungsi perkembangan remaja sesuai dengan teori Erikson. Dari berbagai macam latar belakang siswa serta berbagai ragam cara didikan di rumah, hal itu juga bisa mempengaruhi bagaimana seseorang itu mengelola waktunya dengan baik (self management). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengungkapkan tingkat dan seberapa pengaruh psikososial siswa terhadap self management siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Ahmad Dahlan Kota Jambi. Dalam hal ini, yang menjadi titik fokus penelitian yaitu hanya mengungkapkan pengaruh psikososial terhadap aspek-aspek self management yang terdiri dari pendorong diri, penyusunan diri, pengendalian diri, dan pengembangan diri. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Ahmad Dahlan Kota Jambi yang terdiri dari 84 responden, dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dengan metode Expost-facto. Data dianalisis menggunakan persentase, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, analisis regresi sederhana, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh psikososial terhadap self management siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Ahmad Dahlan yaitu bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara psikososial dan self management yakni sebesar 0,000<0,005. Selain itu tingkat psikososial siswa di SMP Ahmad Dahlan Kota Jambi tergolong tinggi dengan persentase angka sebesar 65,35%, dengan permasalahan sosial sedikit lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan masalah psikologi. Tingkat self management keseluruhan siswanya yakni sebesar 63,49 % dan tergolong tinggi, dengan aspek pendorong diri yang cukup besar serta pengembangan diri yang cukup terarah.

Abstract

The transformation of higher education in Indonesia requires teacher education institutions (LPTKs) to ensure that graduates’ learning outcomes are aligned with professional demands and career readiness. The Department of Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) must therefore design a curriculum that not only emphasizes theoretical mastery but also strengthens students’ career connectivity as prospective professional teachers. This community service program aimed to implement Teaching Assistance in Elementary Schools (AMSD) based on reflective practice as a curriculum innovation within the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework to enhance the career connectivity of PGSD graduates. The specific objectives were: (1) to improve students’ ability to design, implement, and reflect on reflective teaching practices in elementary schools, and (2) to strengthen the integration between departmental learning outcomes and professional teacher career profiles based on John Holland’s career theory (RIASEC). The program was conducted during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at SD Islam Terpadu Al Fatih, Makassar City, involving 10 fifth-semester PGSD students. The implementation used participatory, reflective, and collaborative approaches through four stages: needs analysis, reflective training and workshop, school-based AMSD implementation, and final reflective evaluation. Data were collected through Reflective Teaching Journals, reflective assessment rubrics, and the RIASEC career orientation instrument. The results indicated a 26.7% increase in students’ reflective ability, a 23% improvement in their understanding of OBE principles, and strengthened career orientation predominantly in the Social and Artistic types, consistent with the professional characteristics of elementary school teachers. The collaboration between lecturers, mentor teachers, and students fostered a reflective learning ecosystem that enhanced pedagogical competence, career awareness, and teacher professionalism. This program demonstrates that reflective-based AMSD serves as an effective OBE curriculum innovation to reinforce PGSD graduates’ career connectivity. The model is recommended for replication in other partner schools as a strategic approach to cultivating a reflective professional culture in teacher education.

Abstract

These are the objectives of this study: 1) To determine the extent to which self-efficacy influences the implementation of guidance and counselling at SMP N in Jambi City; 2) To determine the extent to which self-management influences the implementation of guidance and counselling at SMP N in Jambi city, and 3) To determine the direct influence of self-efficacy and self-management on the implementation of guidance and counselling at SMPN in Jambi City. The research design utilized in this study was quantitative, with multiple linear regression analysis serving as the expo-facto statistical test design. This study's population consisted of school counsellors at the State Junior High School in Jambi city. As for the findings of this study: 1. The self-efficacy variable (X1) has no effect on school services (Y). It is evidenced by the results of 0.146 > 0.05 and t count -1.464< t in table 1; 2. There is an influence of the self-management variable (X2) on services in schools (Y), as evidenced by the results of 0.000< 0.05 and t count 4.360 > t in table 1.98; 3. There is a simultaneous effect of self-efficacy (X)1 and self-management (X2) on services in schools (Y), 0.000< 0.005. It indicates that variables have a simultaneous relationship

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of parental support on the academic achievement of phase E students at SMA Negeri 6 Batang Hari. Using an ex post facto method quantitative approach, the study involved 75 samples from 279 students through purposive sampling. Data were obtained from parental support questionnaires and grade documentation, then analyzed using normality, linearity, simple regression, and determination coefficients with SPSS 22. The results showed that parental support had a significant effect on academic achievement (sig. 0.003 < 0.05), but the contribution was only 19.2%, while 80.8% was influenced by other factors such as self-motivation, learning environment, and the role of teachers. This research is expected to be an input for parents and schools in improving learning support as well as a reference for further research

Abstract

This study examines the effect of self-control on academic anxiety among university students, motivated by the high academic demands faced during the transition from secondary school to higher education. During this period, students are required to adapt to a new environment, heavy academic workloads, and more independent learning systems, which may lead to academic anxiety. Academic anxiety can result in decreased concentration, excessive worry, and lower academic achievement. One factor presumed to influence academic anxiety is self-control, defined as an individual’s ability to regulate behavior, thoughts, and decision-making. Effective self-control enables students to manage academic pressures more adaptively. This study employed a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The sample consisted of 143 students selected through simple random sampling. The instruments used included a self-control questionnaire with 27 items and an academic anxiety questionnaire with 27 items. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results showed an Asymp. Sig value of 0.200 and an R Square value of 0.137. The regression equation indicates that self-control has a significant effect on academic anxiety, meaning that higher levels of self-control are associated with lower levels of academic anxiety.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase the assertive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City through the application of Assertive Training techniques. The method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, one group pretest posttest design. The research sample consisted of 16 class VII students with low levels of assertive behavior, who were selected using the Purposive Sampling method. Data was collected through an assertive behavior scale consisting of 17 statement items. Hypothesis analysis was carried out using the non-parametric statistical Wilcoxon test to compare the pretest and posttest results. The results of the Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS ver 23 application, showed that there was a difference between the pretest and posttest, where at the pretest the students' assertive behavior was in the low category, then after being given treatment (posttest) it increased to the high category.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi asesmen kontekstual berbasis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam pembelajaran IPA pada Kurikulum Merdeka serta bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan menerapkan asesmen autentik. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang melibatkan guru-guru IPA di Tanjung Jabung Jambi, yang berpartisipasi dalam serangkaian lokakarya, pelatihan, dan praktik terbimbing mengenai perancangan asesmen. Dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan analisis terhadap praktik asesmen guru, pengabdian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan utama pada seluruh tahapan asesmen, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pelaporan, refleksi, serta integrasi perangkat digital. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami asesmen berbasis proyek, menyusun soal yang mengukur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, mengelola waktu, serta mendampingi peserta didik yang memiliki literasi rendah dan kesiapan digital yang terbatas. Program lokakarya berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan guru mengenai konsep asesmen, memperkuat kemampuan mereka dalam mengembangkan soal kontekstual berbasis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menerapkan asesmen diagnostik, formatif, dan berbasis proyek. Guru juga melaporkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran mengenai pentingnya refleksi, umpan balik, dan pemanfaatan hasil asesmen untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, pendampingan teknis, dan dukungan sekolah yang memadai merupakan faktor penting untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi asesmen dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan agar program-program selanjutnya mencakup pelatihan yang lebih terarah, pendampingan yang lebih intensif, serta peningkatan infrastruktur digital guna memastikan bahwa guru mampu merancang dan melaksanakan asesmen berkualitas tinggi yang mendorong pemahaman ilmiah yang lebih mendalam dan pembelajaran yang bermakna.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing use of online games among adolescents, which has the potential to affect interpersonal communication skills, particularly self-disclosure. This study aims to identify the level of self-disclosure in students addicted to online games at SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi based on the dimensions of amount, valence, honesty and accuracy, intention, and intimacy. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research sample consisted of 60 students determined through a total sampling technique with the criteria of playing online games for more than 5 hours per day. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and was compiled based on Devito's self disclosure theory and analyzed using a percentage technique. The results showed that the overall level of student self-disclosure was in the high category (61%). Partially, the amount dimension was in the moderate category (59%), while valence (60%), honesty and accuracy (63%), intention (64%), and intimacy (61%) were in the high category. The intention dimension was the highest, while amount was the lowest. These findings indicate that students addicted to online games have a tendency to be quite open, but not optimal in the frequency and duration of self-disclosure. Therefore, guidance and counseling services are needed to increase self disclosure and control online game use to support students' social development.

Abstract

Self-confidence is often a problem among adolescents, based on the background of research adolescents have diverse self-confidence. From the results of preliminary data, male adolescents are worried about getting negative assessments from the surrounding environment for performance in doing work, while female adolescents are worried about expressing different opinions to others, thus causing adolescents not confident to be actively involved in community activities, the purpose of this study is to determine whether there are differences in the level of self-confidence of adolescents based on gender. Self-confidence that will be examined is self-confidence, optimistic, objective, responsible, rational, realistic. This study aims to determine differences in self-confidence based on gender in The Hok village, Jambi City. Using quantitative research, with comparative research methods. The study population was 1459 adolescents who were divided into 798 male adolescents and 661 female adolescents, the sampling technique in this study used the Arikunto technique which resulted in 160 samples of male adolescents and 132 samples of female adolescents with a total of 292 samples. Data collection uses a Likert scale, data is analyzed using formula C and different tests through independent sample t-tests. The results of research on Differences in Self-Confidence Based on Adolescent Gender in The Hok Village, Jambi City, the percentage of formula C adolescent boys has a medium percentage of 58.5%, while the percentage of self-confidence of adolescent girls is 63.3% in the high category. The results of the hypothesis test obtained the results of Sig. (2-Tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 and from comparing the t-count and t-table where the t-count value (6.301) > t-table (1.960), the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there are differences in adolescent self-confidence based on gender.
