Abstract

Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) welding in practice often faces challenges in the form of defects in the joints which damage the quality of the connection. One implementation of welding connections is the process of making a paddock. Poor welding can damage the paddock and harm its users. The research aims to determine the effect of welding speed and electrodes on the tensile strength, hardness and microstructure of ST-37 steel welded joints. The research used AWS E 7016 and AWS E 6013 electrodes with a current of 100 amperes and varying welding speeds of 0.2 cm/s, 0.3 cm/s and 0.4 cm/s. The highest tensile strength for the AWS E 7016 electrode was 460.32 MPa and the lowest for the AWS E 6013 electrode was 256.02 MPa. The highest hardness value on AWS E 7016 was 236.07 MPa and the lowest was on AWS E 6013, amounting to 176.86 MPa. The ferrite composition dominates the weld metal. Because ferrite is ductile and not too hard, it means that the weld metal area is ductile and the hardness is not too high.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada sektor transportasi seperti kecelakaan lalu lintas menjadi perhatian penting, salah satunya disebabkan oleh kondisi kendaraan yang kurang optimal dalam menyerap energi benturan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan material alternatif yang ringan namun memiliki kekuatan mekanik tinggi, salah satunya yaitu komposit serat karbon untuk aplikasi bodi kendaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi lama waktu curing terhadap kekuatan tarik dan impak material komposit berbahan serat karbon. Material komposit menggunakan serat karbon 3K Twill 220 gsm dan resin epoksi dengan perbandingan resin : hardener (2:1). Proses pembuatan komposit dilakukan dengan kombinasi metode Hand Lay-Up dan Vacuum Bagging, serta variasi lama waktu curing 30 menit, 45 menit, dan 60 menit pada suhu 100°C. Pengujian kekuatan tarik mengacu pada standar ASTM D3039 dan pengujian impak Charpy mengacu pada ASTM E23. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tegangan tarik tertinggi diperoleh pada spesimen dengan waktu curing 60 menit sebesar 190,86 MPa. Pada uji impak, energi serap dan ketangguhan impak tertinggi diperoleh pada waktu curing 30 menit dengan nilai masing-masing 1,339 J dan 0,253 J/mm². Dengan demikian, waktu curing 60 menit memberikan kekuatan tarik maksimal, sementara waktu curing 30 menit unggul dalam ketangguhan impak. Penentuan lama waktu curing optimal perlu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan karakteristik yang lebih spesifik. Kata Kunci: Komposit serat karbon, curing, hand lay-up, vacuum bagging.ABSTRACTIssues in the transportation sector, such as traffic accidents, are partly caused by vehicles' poor ability to absorb impact energy. This highlights the need for lightweight materials with high mechanical strength, such as carbon fiber composites, for energy-efficient vehicle body applications. This study investigates the effect of curing time variations on the tensile and impact strength of carbon fiber composites made from 3K Twill 220 gsm carbon fiber and epoxy resin (resin:hardener ratio of 2:1). The composites were fabricated using Hand Lay-Up and Vacuum Bagging methods, with curing times of 30, 45, and 60 minutes at 100°C. Tensile tests followed ASTM D3039 and impact tests followed ASTM E23. The highest tensile strength 190,86 MPa was achieved at 60 minutes, For the impact test, the highest absorbed energy and impact toughness were achieved at 30 minutes of curing, with values of 1.339 J and 0.253 J/mm². Therefore, a curing time of 60 minutes provides maximum tensile strength, while a curing time of 30 minutes excels in impact toughness. The determination of the optimal curing time needs to be adjusted to the specific characteristic requirements.Keywords: carbon fiber composite, curing, hand lay-up, vacuum bagging

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) bagi guru sekolah dasar dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan pemahaman pelaksanaan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi guru sekolah dasar dalam meningkatkan kompetensinya khususnya pemahaman pelaksanaan pelaksanaan CRL. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah tanya jawab, dan diskusi. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru sekolah dasar yang berjumlah 30 orang. Sebelum pelatihan dilakukan pres test dengan hasil kategori kurang baik dan setelah pelatihan kategori baik. Guru sekolah dasar dapat mengerti dan memahami materi yang diberikan pada kegiatan ini, karena materi ini dilengkapi dengan latihan memahaman pelaksanaan pendekatan CRL, sehingga kendala guru dalam pelaksanaan CRL di sekolah bisa diatasi dalam proses mengajar.

Abstract

Professional competence is a technical skill that must be mastered by productive Vocational School teachers. Unfortunately, to date no audit has been carried out. The aim of the research is to audit the level of professional competence of productive teachers in motorbike engineering and business based on teacher competency standards. The audit is focused on the knowledge aspect. The research method is quantitative. The population is productive teachers of motorbike engineering and business with a sample of five vocational schools using probability sampling. Data collection uses instruments. Data analysis uses statistics with the discrepancy evaluation model. Research procedure; problem identification, literature study, field observation, instrument creation, data collection, processing and conclusions. Research result; (1) 96.29% of teachers met the academic qualification requirements and 3.71% did not. Suitability of educational background with teaching obligations; 92.59% were appropriate and 7.41% were not appropriate. 33.33% of teachers are certified educators and 66.67% are not yet certified. (2) the results of teacher competency audits in the form of knowledge passports and training recommendations; 18.52% of less competent teachers are recommended to take basic training, 37.04% of moderately competent teachers are recommended to take intermediate training, 37.04% of competent teachers are recommended to take advanced training, and 7.40% of highly competent teachers are not recommended to take advanced training or professional development. The lowest mean sub-competency score was 2.4 in color maching, while the highest mean score was 3.7 in the battery sub-competency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepatuhan pajak di kalangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui sosialisasi Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) Final. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya tingkat kepatuhan pajak di kalangan UMKM, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman mengenai kebijakan perpajakan dan manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari insentif pajak. Metode yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi ini meliputi presentasi dan diskusi interaktif yang melibatkan para pelaku UMKM di lingkungan PT Danis Emran Gemilang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan minat UMKM untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas PPh Final. Para peserta menjadi lebih sadar akan kewajiban perpajakan mereka dan manfaat kontribusi pajak bagi pembangunan negara. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil mencapai tujuan utamanya dalam membangun budaya kepatuhan pajak di kalangan UMKM.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to investigate empirical proof of the effect of media coverage, environmental sensitivity, environmental management system, and customer closeness on the environmental disclosure of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The population in this study is all environmental disclosure on the company's sustainability report listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. This study sampling method is purposive sampling, with 15 companies meeting the criteria as the sample with 45 firm-years. This study was tested using multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that environmental sensitivity and customer closeness effect on company's environmental disclosure. In contrast, media coverage and environmental management system do not affect the company's environmental disclosure.Keywords: Environmental Disclosure, Media Coverage, Environment Sensitivity, Environmental Management System, Customer ClosenessABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh liputan media, sensitivitas lingkungan, Environmental Management System (EMS), dan kedekatan konsumen terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2018-2020. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengungkapan lingkungan yang dilakukan perusahaan dalam laporan keberlanjutan oleh perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dalam periode 2018-2020. Metode pengambilan sampel dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling sehingga perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel sebanyak 15 perusahaan dengan total observasi sebanyak 45 perusahaan-tahun. Penelitian ini diuji dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sensitivitas lingkungan dan kedekatan konsumen berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan perusahaan sedangkan liputan media dan Environment Management System (EMS) tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan perusahaan.Kata Kunci: Pengungkapan Lingkungan, Liputan Media, Sensitivitas Lingkungan, Environmental Management System, Kedekatan Konsumen

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) to enhance presentation skills among Indonesian English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. Employing qualitative research methods, including interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, the study explores the benefits and challenges of MALL integration within the Indonesian EFL context. Findings reveal that MALL offers access to diverse learning resources, interactive practice platforms, and collaborative experiences, fostering learner engagement and autonomy. The study emphasizes the importance of thoughtfully integrating MALL into traditional instruction to complement language education effectively. Furthermore, it highlights implications for educational policy, curriculum development, and teacher training initiatives in Indonesia. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of MALL's role in language education and provides insights for optimizing its implementation to enhance presentation proficiency among Indonesian EFL learners.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) Diorama media in improving the understanding of the concept of grade V students towards living things in learning science. The background of this research is based on the need for technology-based learning innovations that are able to overcome the limitations of conventional media in conveying abstract concepts. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires. The research subjects consisted of 28 grade V students and classroom teachers at SDN 2 Parung Sari. The results showed that the use of AR Diorama significantly increased students' enthusiasm, participation, and concept understanding. Interactive 3D visualization allows students to explore the body structure of living things in detail, making it easier to connect theory with visual reality. Interviews with students and teachers show that this medium not only helps with the cognitive aspect, but also fosters students' interest, curiosity, and courage to express their opinions. The results of the questionnaire strengthened this finding, where most students stated that the use of AR in understanding the material was very helpful. This study concludes that AR Diorama is an effective medium to be applied in IPAS learning, especially in helping students understand abstract material in a more concrete, fun, and meaningful way.

Abstract

This study is about Speech Style Used in Child Development. The aim of this research is to find out the different speech styles used in child development. The researcher has compared what speech styles that are used. Such as, formal style, frozen style, intimate style, casual style and consultative style. The theory chosen by the researcher about speech style is the theory of Martin Joos which classifies speech styles into five. There are two problems formulated in this study: (1) What are the differences between active children and passive children? (2) What are the functions of each type of speech style used by active children and passive children? The researcher has compared. The method used in this research Qualitative method and Sociolinguistics approach. This research investigated 11 students in one grade in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Karama. In this analysis, the researcher found 4 out of 5 types of speech style, the researcher found consultative style, casual style, intimate style and formal style. Then, for the functions, the researcher also found 3 out of 5 types of speech. The researcher found expressive, directive and representative.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the Customer Preference Analysis on Gatsby facial care products of PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk, the effect of Personal Selling on Brand Image, the effect of Price on Brand Image, the effect of Personal Selling on Customer Preference, the effect price on Customer Preference and the effect of Brand Image on the Customer Preference of Gatsby Face Care Product. The design used on this research is descriptive quantitative research with causality using 151 respondents as the sample and technique the non probability sampling. Model testing are used for data analysis using Stuctural Equation Modeling with Lisrel 9 consists of CFA (Factor Confirmatori) test by factor standard loading> 0.60 and GOF (Goodness of fit) based on existing criteria where p-value> 0.05 and RMSEA <0.08.Furthermore, to test hypothesis 1, hypothesis 2, hypothesis 3, hypothesis 4 and hypothesis 5 based on the output of the Structural Equation by considering an t table value for alfa = 0.05 is 1.96 and t table for alpha = 0.10 is 1.65. The results of processing and data analysis, found that the variable of Personal Selling effect on Brand Image of 2.64, Price has no effect on Brand Image of 1.03 and Personal Selling affect the consumer preference 3.87, Price does not have effect on consumer preferences -0.42. While the Brand Image effect on Consumer Preferences 6.17.
