Abstract

Geothermal slag is a by-product of the geothermal power generation process, but its added value is minimal. With a silica content of up to 70%, geothermal slag has potential as a secondary silicon source for battery silicon anode precursors. Usually, the synthesis of nano-silica was carried out through the sol-gel method, in which HCl is usually used as a modifier to regulate the physical and chemical properties of the material. But in this study chose citric acid for modifier agent because it is more environmentally friendly. The challenge of using citric acid is the formation of carbon-based salts that can cause silica blackening if not washed well. Therefore, optimization was done by adjusting the pH to produce high-purity nano-silica. The sol-gel process was carried out by adding 10% NaOH and 5N Citric Acid, with varying pH base conditions from 8 to 11. XRF analysis results showed the highest purity at pH 8. Impurities were still visible based on XRD data, and the formation of nanoparticles was confirmed through morphological analysis using FESEM and TEM where the average particle size formed is between 55 nm.

Abstract

This study aimed to audit environmental performance in gondorukem (resina colophonium) industry, analyze the main problem of waste and formulate the direction of industry development by cleaner production method. Data collection was conducted by field observation, interview and expert surveys. The analysis method used in this research is cleaner production audit which consist quick scan on stages of production process and formulation the cleaner production option, continued prioritization with Analytic Hierarchy Process. This study was case study take place in nagreg west java. Results of the analysis showed that scheduling sap delivery to be a priority based alternative with the largest value analysis id 0,216 compared with other alternatives.

Abstract

Pedagogic competence is a fundamental competency in the framework of children's educational practices. Pedagogic competence is required as a system of knowledge about children's education that will become the basis or basis in children's educational practices and become the standard of success of children's educational practices. This research was conducted to analyze how pedagogic competence in improving the performance of PAUD teachers in the Gadingrejo Sub-district. The method used in this study is the qualitative research method by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The source of information is obtained through interviews with the head of the foundation, educators, and students. The results of research on pedagogic abilities of PAUD teachers in Qurotta Ayun and PAUD SPS Latifah Learning Group in organizing various aspects of child development according to age, designing child development activities according to age-based on curriculum, organizing educational development activities in children according to age, organizing and making assessment reports, evaluation of processes and evaluation of learning outcomes in children according to age, analyzing the theory of play according to aspects and stages of development, needs, potential talents and interests of children according to age, in general, is good enough. However, there needs to be an improvement in pedagogic management through the improvement of educational qualifications and competencies of educators through training activities, technical guidance, and workshops.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keterampilan toiletry pada peserta didik dengan hambatan intelektual dan mengidentifikasi tingkat kesenjangan antara keterampilan toiletry mereka dengan sebayanya. Studi ini dilakukan pada empat orang peserta didik dengan hambatan intelektual sedang. Keempat peserta didik tersebut miliki kesenjangan kemampuan toiletry dibanding sebayanya sehingga secara sosial dianggap memiliki kemampuan fungsi adaptif yang rendah. Metode yang dikembangkan dalam studi ini adalah studi kasus. Guna kem=pentingan pengumpulan data, instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengidentifikasi kemampuan toiletry adalah instrument informal yang terlebih dahulu divalidasi oleh para ahli. Adapun tim ahli yang bersangkutan adalah 1). Ahli dalam hambatan intelektual 2). Ahli dalam Pendidikan khusus, dan 3) ahli dalam evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil studi ditemukan 3 orang atau 75% anak memerlukan program khusus untuk meningkatkan kemampuan toileting sedangkan 1 orang anak atau 25% sudah baik dalam toileting. Tantangan yang banyak ditemui dan harus segera dilaksanakan intevensi adalah kemampuan buang air kecil. Masalah paling banyak dihadapi oleh peserta didik dalam keterampilan buang air kecil meliputi (1) peserta didik belum mampu menunjukkan tanda-tanda ketika ingin buang air kecil, (2) pergi ke toilet sendiri, (3) membuka celana, (4) membasuh kelamin dengan bersih dan (5) menyiram closet dengan baik dan benar. Beberapa hal tersebut diperlukan program khusus untuk meningkatkan kemampuan toileting. Pada penelitian selanjutnya, peneliti harus dapat menjawab tantangan mengenai metode dalam meningkatkan kemampuan toiletry khususnya dalam keterampilan buang air kecil.

Abstract

The Cileungsi River is the upstream part of the Bekasi Watershed, and its existence is crucial for the sustainability of the local economy and the survival of the community, industry, agriculture, and commerce surrounding the riverbanks. It is also the raw water source for Regional Water Company. This study aims to assess the water quality of the Cileungsi River and its pollution status using the Pollution Index (PI) method. This research was conducted at six sampling points, covering the upstream, middle, and downstream sections in both the dry and rainy seasons of 2022. The method used to analyze the water quality of the Cileungsi River refers to the Indonesian National Standard. In contrast, the calculation of the PI refers to the Decree of the State Minister of Environment. During the dry season, the PI at the Regional Water Company bridge in Kota Wisata and beside PT Rahayu Indah Kulit fell into the moderately polluted category, with PI values of 5.49 and 7.30, respectively. The highest PI value during the rainy season was recorded at 10.30 on the border of Bogor Regency and Bekasi City, which falls within the heavily polluted category. The Gunung Putri area has a lightly polluted index value in both seasons. The parameters that require attention are BOD, NO2-, free chlorine, and fecal coliform, which serve as indicators of pollution from household and agricultural activities. These results will help the Bogor Regency government develop strategies to protect and sustainably manage the Cileungsi River.

Abstract

Abstract One of the main challenges faced by partners in this community service program is the lack of understanding among PKK and Posyandu cadres in Jatinegara Kaum Urban Village regarding how to provide appropriate services and stimulation for children with special needs. As individuals who frequently interact with parents and young children, it is crucial for them to understand how to deliver proper stimulation to support the development and growth of these children. Moreover, appropriate stimulation can also help strengthen the bond between parents and their children, preventing unwanted neglect. Some Posyandu cadres are also parents who actively participate in Posyandu activities. Therefore, improving the quality of services they provide is expected to encourage more families with children with special needs to utilize Posyandu services optimally. To support this, the community service program organized a training session for Posyandu cadres on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, and Thursday, June 22, 2023. This training was conducted over two days with different themes each day: identification and stimulation on the first day, followed by counseling and a stimulation workshop on the second day. The event was attended by approximately 60 Posyandu cadres who showed great enthusiasm, both in listening to the material and participating in the question-and-answer sessions. On the second day, several participants also actively practiced the stimulation techniques they had learned. Based on the evaluation questionnaire completed by the participants, most of them expressed a desire for the continuation of similar programs focused on handling children with special needs.  Abstrak Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman kader PKK dan Posyandu di Kelurahan Jatinegara Kaum dalam memberikan pelayanan dan stimulasi yang tepat bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Sebagai pihak yang sering berinteraksi dengan orang tua dan anak usia dini, penting bagi mereka untuk memahami cara memberikan stimulasi yang sesuai guna mendukung perkembangan dan pertumbuhan anak-anak tersebut. Selain itu, stimulasi yang tepat juga dapat membantu mempererat hubungan antara orang tua dan anak, sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya pengabaian yang tidak diinginkan. Beberapa kader posyandu juga merupakan orang tua yang aktif dalam kegiatan posyandu. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas layanan yang mereka berikan diharapkan dapat mendorong lebih banyak keluarga dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus untuk memanfaatkan layanan posyandu secara optimal. Untuk mendukung hal ini, program pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengadakan kegiatan penyuluhan bagi kader posyandu pada Rabu, 21 Juni 2023, dan Kamis, 22 Juni 2023. Penyuluhan ini berlangsung selama dua hari dengan tema yang berbeda setiap harinya, yaitu identifikasi dan stimulasi pada hari pertama, serta konseling dan workshop stimulasi pada hari kedua. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sekitar 60 kader posyandu yang menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, baik dalam menyimak materi maupun saat sesi tanya jawab. Pada hari kedua, beberapa peserta juga aktif mempraktikkan stimulasi yang telah dipelajari. Berdasarkan hasil angket evaluasi, sebagian besar peserta berharap adanya kelanjutan program serupa yang berfokus pada penanganan anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

Facebook sering dimanfaatkan penggunanya untuk mengunggah persoalan mengenai pelayanan publik. Maraknya unggahan berisikan informasi semacam itu, adalah potret kualitas pelayanan publik di negeri ini. Kenyataan itu bisa jadi adalah indikator rendahnya kualitas pelayanan publik di Indonesia. Parahnya, yang mengalami keadaan itu lebih banyak dari kalangan masyarakat yang tidak beruntung secara ekonomi. Besarnya tuntutan masyarakat terhadap kualitas profesionalisme penyelenggara pelayan publik, dapat ditengarai sebagai pertanda berkembangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap hak-haknya sebagai warga negara. Hal itu bisa berdampak pada perbaikan kinerja birokrasi dalam rangka memberikan pelayanan. Sebagaimana termaktub dalam Undang-Undang, nomor 25 Tahun 2009, tentang Pelayanan Publik. Pelayanan publik adalah kegiatan dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan pelayanan bagi setiap warga negara dan penduduk atas barang, jasa, dan/atau pelayanan administratif yang disediakan oleh penyelenggara pelayanan publik. Unggahan di Facebook seputar masalah pelayanan publik menjadi fokus persoalan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis motif yang melatari pengguna Facebook untuk mengunggah keluhan tentang penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Untuk menghimpun data, peneliti melakukan wawancara kepada sejumlah pengguna Facebook, selain mengamati teks-teks yang diunggah di akun Facebook terkait isu pelayanan publik. Dari hasil wawancara terhadap tiga pengguna FB yang mengunggah keluhan atas pelayanan publik, ketiga informan memiliki motif yang sama dalam mengunggah postingan. Yaitu menarik perhatian publik dan berharap mendapatkan respon dari instansi yang dituju. Menurut salah satu informan, postingan tersebut diharapkan dapat membangun kesadaran publik atas hak layanan publik yang seharusnya diterima. Facebook is often used by users to upload issues regarding public services. The rise of uploads containing such information is a portrait of the quality of public services in this country. That fact could be an indicator of the low quality of public services in Indonesia. Worse, who experienced the situation more than the people who are economically disadvantaged. The large demand of the community for the professionalism of the quality of public service providers can be seen as a sign of the development of public understanding of their rights as citizens. That can have an impact on improving the performance of the bureaucracy in order to provide services. As stipulated in the Law, number 25 of 2009, concerning Public Services. Public services are activities in the context of meeting the service needs of every citizen and population of goods, services, and / or administrative services provided by the public service providers. Uploads on Facebook about the issue of public services are the focus of the problem in this study. This study also aims to describe and analyze the motives behind Facebook users to upload complaints about the administration of public services. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach. To collect data, researchers conducted interviews with a number of Facebook users, in addition to observing texts uploaded on Facebook accounts related to public service issues. From the results of interviews with three FB users who uploaded complaints about public services, all three informants had the same motive in uploading posts. That is attracting public attention and hoping to get a response from the intended agency. According to one informant, the post is expected to be able to build public awareness of the rights of public services that should be received.

Abstract

Inkubator adalah salah instrument laboratorium penting yang dibutuhkan untuk kultur sel karena perannya dalam menyediakan lingkungan yang dibutuhkan untuk pertumbuhan sel. Namun dalam praktiknya, banyak laboratorium yang kesulitan memfasilitasi hal ini karena ketidakmampuan untuk pengadaan dan atau pemeliharaan inkubator karena tingginya biaya yang dibutuhkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya karya inovasi yang dapat dengan mudah diaplikasikan di laboratorium, salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan bahan limbah di kehidupan sehari-hari. Styrofoam merupakan limbah plastic ringan, sedehana yang memiliki sifat hidrofobik dan dapat mudah dimodifikasi menjadi alat pertumbuhan sel yang efisien dalam kultur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfatkan limbah styrofoam sebagai low-cost mobile inkubator tanpa CO2 untuk kultur sel nyamuk C6/36. Jenis penelitian ini ialah eksperimental laboratorium dengan menghitung perbandingan viabilitas proliferasi sel C6/36 yang dinkubasi selama 1 sampai 5 hari dalam inkubator konvensional tanpa CO2 dan styrofoam. Metode yang digunakaan ialah uji trypan blue dan MTT. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik dengan p-value < 0,05. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada viabiltas sel inkubasi hari ke-5 dalam uji trypan blue, sedangkan pada uji MTT ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan pada hari ke-1 dan ke-4 pasca inkubasi. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa styorofam memiliki potensi untuk digunakan sebagai low-cost mobile inkubator dalam penelitian in vitro, khusunya pada penelitian yang menggunakan kultur sel nyamuk C6/36. Styrofoam dapat memberikan lingkungan yang fisiologis untuk sel dapat berproliferasi dengan baik.

Abstract

The phenomenon of joint property disputes resulting from divorce occurred in the decision of the Bekasi Religious Court judge in case number 1726/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Bks, in this decision the panel of judges divided joint property outside the provisions stipulated by Article 97 of the Compilation of Islamic Law, where in the decision The division is 1/3 for the Plaintiff (ex-husband) and 2/3 for the Defendant (ex-wife). So this research aims to find out the legal basis for the judge's council's considerations in deciding cases and find out the relevance of decision number 1726/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Bks to the Compilation of Islamic Law and the Marriage Law. This research uses a qualitative research method, namely a descriptive analysis research method with a normative juridical research approach at the level of a statutory approach and a judge's decision approach. And decision number 1726/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Bks as the primary data source used in this research. The results of this research show that the panel of judges decided on the division of joint assets in the amount of 1/3 for the Plaintiff and 2/3 for the Defendant.  The division was carried out by the panel of judges based on considerations and several pieces of evidence which showed that the Defendant (ex-wife) contributed more to the collection of joint assets from the results of his work, while the Plaintiff (ex-husband) admitted that his income was indeed small. The panel of judges did not use article 97 of the Compilation of Islamic Law in its decision which states that the distribution of joint assets is ½ for each party, the ex-husband and ex-wife. In this case the judge deemed it fair to determine the division of joint assets with 1/3 share for the Plaintiff (ex-husband) and 2/3 share for the Defendant (ex-wife). This judge's decision is in accordance with Satjipto Raharjo's progressive legal theory.

Abstract

Wood industry produces a large amount of waste water that contains various pollutants. These pollutants are mostly dangerous for the environment. This research work aims to analyze the ability of phytoremediation for reducing pollutants in wood industrial waste water. These experiments usee Chrysopongon zizanoides L. and Ipomoea aquatica Forsk as phytoremediation agents. The ability was evaluated from the improved quality of wood industrial wastewater and the growth rate of C. zizanioides (L.) and I. aquatica Forsk in wood industrial wastewater. Analysis was conducted by measuring the removal efficiency of pollutants in wood industrial wastewater, the correlation between the reduced pollutants concentrations in the waste water and plant growth rate. Furthermore, a mathematical model is developed to predict the potential of C. zizanioides (L.) and I. aquatica Forsk for wood industrial wastewater. The result showed that C.zizanioides L. and I aquatica Forsk were potential phytoremediation agent. The removal efficiency for C.zizanioides L. and I aquatica Forsk are respectively as follows: 66.19% and 41.18%, TSS 58.51% and 45.38%, COD 70.07% and 40.37%, Total Amonia Nitrogen (TAN) 63.70% and 66.96%, NH3 96.16% and 88.79%, and PO43- 53.90% and 38.38%. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) of C. zizanioides (0.011±0.002 g/day) is better than I. aquatica Forsk (0.007±0.001 g/day). Daily Growth Rate (DGR) of C. zizanioides (0.019±0.003 cm/day) is better than I. aquatica Forsk (0.012±0.006 cm/day). TSS, COD, NH3, NO3-, and phenol have a negative correlation to plant growth (based on wet weight and root length). The developed mathematical models can be used to predict the phytoremediation potential of C. zizanioides (L.) and I. aquatica Forsk in degrading COD, TSS, and phenols of wood industrial waste.
